The food was excellent, perfectly cooked filet mignon, lightly cooked butterflied shrimp, house wine and desert . Relatively fair price these days. My only problem we were seated near the bar on high chairs and we are not very tall.. less comfortable.. perhaps to take into account the next time... we will return again for sure...

Our waitress was very friendly and the food was excellent (except for one of us whose meat was not cooked properly). We had reserved and requested a bench seat and we got it. Thank you and we will be back soon.

Here is my opinion. I called on Thursday to add 2 people to the table for Saturday and was refused due to lack of space. During Saturdays dinner, a table near us was free throughout our dinner which could have easily accommodated our 3 additional people. I understand cancellations but calling back your customer would have been appreciated to fill their places..The management then leaves something to be desired. The atmosphere is good but on a Saturday at the top of the restaurant, you have to speak loudly to be heard, my partner next to me practically never understood the discussion between me and a friend next door because of the excessive noise of the people trying everyone to speak loudly to make this understood, vi e and versa. My fathers dinner was cold, the potato and the flank steak included the pepper sauce. He had to turn his plate over and eat separately from the others because of this. My plate, which was the same as my fathers, was also cold but I decided to eat it out of embarrassment because my father had already turned his plate over. Despite the great appreciation of our waitress who was very kind and helpful, we had a very long wait before receiving our dishes, almost an hour between ordering and receipt. To finally eat cold and not at the same time as the others. I still left 20% to the waitress for her service, who despite being overwhelmed, was able to give us the best possible. But for the meals and the length of wait it was a disappointment, for the second time this fall.

Really bad service. 15 min wait. Before having the waitress to order our drinks. Another 20 min. To order our plate. 50 mins. Afterwards we have to ask for our entrance. Other people arrive 15 min. and we were served and even finished. Others arrive 30 min. After us and we have already been served. We didnt have the same waitress. Ours took care of two large groups and left us out. From the second group, there are some who arrived later. And everyone was served!!!! I dont recommend it. Bad service and management. Im really disappointed. After 1h30 of waiting, still no service!!!!

The shrimp quartet is 14.95 wow affordable and really good

First of all, after hearing good things about this restaurant, we decided to try it. So we booked for 6:45 p.m. for a group of five people. We were shown a table straight away. Our waitress showed up at our table 15 minutes after we were seated. We ordered drinks around 7:00 p.m. We received these about 35 minutes later. Given the time taken to get drinks, we decided not to waste time and order meals as soon as we received the drinks and also taking into account the traffic on Saturday evening. So for meals - a starter of onion rings, two plates of walleye, a fish/chip. A pork tomahawk and a chicken skewer. The order was placed at 7:35 p.m. The starter was received in 10 minutes (which is normal for any restaurant). Heres where it took another turn for the worse. We received the meals at .9:05 p.m.!!!! 1h30 after receiving the drinks...So I receive the skewer and to be honest and without wanting to be petty, my chicken seemed to have a fever, it is pale, the rice seems to have been cooked for 2 days because it is so dry and the sauce is frozen in the container probably due to having sat under the heating lights for a long time. My Caesar salad has very little sauce and is very soggy and lukewarm from the stove lights. Despite everything, all the dishes were lukewarm For the walleye starters, the rice is in the same condition as mine (from the desert) and the fish is bland or without seasonings. Same thing for the salads with the exception of the Chef s. For the tomahawk starter, it was super dry, without flavor and the rice was in the same condition..Lamentable For my son, his fish/chip tasted like old frying oil, no lemon on the plate, the fish was as cooked as the breading. The coleslaw was Lukewarm which is concerning for food poisoning. In addition, these fries were dry, cold and tasteless (Missed fries in the land of poutine really) So immediately served, after one bite and 1hr:35 of waiting the waitress asked us (its up to you taste here??) no one wants to wait another hour to get their meal and says yes.. After all, its just a bite taken. So after the meal, we decide to give our comments to the waitress. Not to get a discount, dessert or free coffee but in the interest of the establishment. I mention to him the state of our plates and the pitifulness of the ingredients. The waitress, who looks at me with an icy look and a defensive tone, replies why did you tell me everything was good before . I reiterate my observation and the desire to not want to wait for another plate and also the fact that she asked for this information after almost putting the plates down. I mentioned to her that my comments are not towards her but rather towards the kitchen. She offers me a brownie as compensation which I refuse since that was not my intention. She immediately returns with the bill and stands behind me to see the amount of the tip. So we can understand that she didnt make a fortune in tipping (she must understand that tipping me is optional and based on the service). She gives me the receipt with a cold thank you and leaves without greeting the guests. (I think she forgot the plates and that s why she took the constructive criticism personally). I then spoke to the manager who was very nice and promised to make sure to discuss the situation with the waitress asking me to call her next time for a better experience. I have no intention of returning to this place. We all have a chance to make a good impression, you missed it. So if youre looking for a good meal, decent service with a nice attitude from the staff, go ahead, the wait isnt worth it. There are better places in town to satisfy you. 0/10

Great for everything thank you

The flank steak was tasty and very tender. The ribs were also very tender. Personally, I didnt like the sweet taste of ketchup, but my partner liked it. The crème brûlée was delicious, worthy of a great restaurant.

It was the first time we went to the Victoriaville branch. Sunday August 25, the service was very very slow. But we were told that one of the cooks had to leave because he was ill. It was very understandable. We found it very awkward that we didnt think about having bathrooms on the first floor. We should have thought of the elderly and those with reduced mobility. This is a very big disadvantage.

Ive had better ribs elsewhere as well as the coleslaw. The fries looked like they had been reheated several times. Opinion also of the 2 other people who accompanied me.

The service was really bad... We were a group and we had reserved in advance, so the restaurant could expect us to be there. My brother received his starter a good 5 minutes before the others and my partners arrived so late that he had barely finished his starter when his meal arrived. The meals were also very poorly timed. My 7 year old daughter received her meal last! I had finished my plate before she could finally receive hers... it took her so long that she wasnt even hungry anymore... this was also the case for two other people in our group who Had this waitress there, the other two tables seemed better. My partner had the table dhôte, but we never had an offer of dessert or coffee. Despite this, the waitress wanted to charge us the table dhôte. The food was good and I have already been to the one in Drummondville and it was really better! The waitress was really bad and after collecting the bills, she had a really stupid look on her face when she collected...

Just a shame that we live 1h20 away otherwise it would surely be our favorite restaurant :) Tartare for son & shrimp plate for me.. A real treat..

Very long and sparse service this afternoon. This was our first and last visit. Undeveined shrimp (a few), undercooked and flavorless rice. 3 of the 4 people present at the dinner all had gastrointestinal problems in the minutes following the meal. No water offered, no follow-up if it was to our liking or something was missing. Sorry for the price paid

The food is excellent! But every time I go there the service is pretty bad. Never refilling water, we see the waitress 4 times, to order the menu and receive the bill. I find it a shame because food is its big tick. As for the atmosphere, its a very normal and simple atmosphere.

I really like this restaurant. Its a good restaurant for seafood and grills but I go there regularly and the burgers, poutine, starters, everything is good! They have a good standard of food like a restaurant chain. The atmosphere is pleasant and we can listen to hockey. Parking: There are no lines in the parking lot and people park so badly that it is sometimes difficult to get out of the parking lot.

Wow, what a great discovery this restaurant is. I was won over from start to finish of the meal. Ill definitely go back if Im in this area.

We went there in the evening after the eclipse. Unfortunately the restaurant was overwhelmed by the crowds and the staff was completely overwhelmed. To apologize for the inconvenience (lateness and missing starter) we were not charged for the starter we had received and we were offered the dessert for free. Kudos for the customer service. The plates are generous and the food excellent. We will return without hesitation.

I like to eat at the Daniel Lapointe brasserie, the food is excellent and the service is perfect. I love it. Shrimp, all seafood. And WoW steaks.

Personally I find it a little too noisy but hey its age. And its a brewery.

Formerly a Cage where I went to eat with my work colleagues and where we had a lot of fun, we were sad to know that it was going to close. Fortunately, Brasserie Daniel Lapointe didn t confuse me in any way. I was even pleasantly surprised! The same pleasure with the staff at the bar, the menu is even more impressive than that of La Cage and the quality of the food is also superior. I only have positives.

Before it closed, La Cage was a place where I regularly went with my work colleagues and we always had a good time there. We were disappointed to learn that it was going to close, but fortunately, Brasserie Daniel Lapointe was able to pleasantly surprise us. I was delighted to find the same welcoming staff at the bar, but I was even more impressed by the quality of the menu, which is much more varied and original than that of La Cage. Plus, the food was simply delicious. I have nothing but praise for this establishment.

A few of my friends and I had a plan: to experience La Brasserie Daniel Lapointe. So we left Quebec to have the chance, nay, the ultimate honor of trying this establishment! We were not disappointed. A good atmosphere, good food: what more could you ask for! We loved our experience. The quality/price ratio is particularly good. I will go back, thats for sure.

We didnt know this place. We are stopped at the red light and suddenly we see the restaurant. We decide to go there. Best decision possible. We were very well received. Nice drinks menu. Great variety. Lots of choice also for food. Perfect cooking, very generous portions. Really reasonable prices. Overall it was a great experience that I highly recommend. Well done to the whole team.

Disappointed this afternoon, Friday, October 13.. our plate for me and my daughter was probably left under the stove for a while because the rice was dry around it and the shrimp on top was dry too and my daughter had her rice too and her sauce had a crust on it.. and I was embarrassed to say it and anyway he had come to see my sister for her cake.. when I told him before paying he always had a rather special response.. it wasnt even him who came to carry the plates I think that he should watch these dishes and serve it yourself... I think Im going to change restaurants now its no longer my favorite
