Amazing, home cooked food. We will drive from out of town just for the food. Pierogies are awesome too Busy Saturday evening with hockey leagues Great food!

We go here 3 times a week. Food is good and always consistent quality. Great service, and a great value.

Place an order from Silks for takeout and ordered the cottage cheese perogies with cream sauce. Have had this dish many times growing up so was excited to try it, the perogies were very doughy and chewy and tasted like they were just microwaved. The cream sauce was very plain and there was not very much of it, everything was just tossed in a container and some sauce was thrown on top. Would not recommend this dish for at all, was absolutely terrible.

The food is pretty good for a quick bite for breakfast or lunch. Its definitely one of those holes in the wall restaurants that you go too for good food. the tuna melt is probably one of my favourites! I would go back to try other options

We had high expectations going in as the website had good reviews. Food wasn t that great, no seasoning was added to any of the dishes other than the hot roast beef and that was EXTRA salty. I personally wouldn t be going here again.

This is a local icon. Its been here for years. Its affordable fast and yummy. The coffee was good, the country turkey club and sweet potato fries were scrumptious.

Great country restaurant.

I have never finished an entire plate of eggs, sausages, fries, toasted bread, and pancakes anywhere else in my life except here. The breakfast was amazingly delicious, and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. Ill definitely be coming back for more.

Found the food over cooked. Eggs were like rubber. The sausage was over cooked as well. Its not awful. The wait staff were friendly.

This is a nice restaurant. I like the food and atmosphere. The only disappointing part is the service. It tends to be VERY SLOW and you often get the wrong item.

Classic diner experience, was pleasant and would return. As a vegetarian, I could sub meat for more eggs which was nice.

Been there twice because I work in Niagara on the lake, the food was always fresh, very good, and the stuff is very kind, I recommend it to anyone and I am sure I ll be back there.

Came here with friends and the food was beyond delicious! It was so fresh and tasty! Ordered the shrimp with garlic bread as an appetizer & the hamburger and I was quite impressed with the quality of the food!!

Took a little trip to Virgil for a breakfast date at Silks Country Kitchen. We ordered the Western Omelette with Rye, the Ham & Cheese Omelette with Rye, and a Side of French Toast. The food was wonderful, and arrived to the table quickly. The service staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was quaint and clean. I would absolutely go back again, and would also highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a good meal at a reasonable price!

3 adults, 2 mid teens and 4 under 11. Seated quickly. Servers are great! Atmosphere, average (dated feeling). Three kids ordered from the kids menu, they didn t complain (2 cheese burgers and a hamburger). 11yr old ordered a blt on white. I thought he ordered it on rye. Poor guy ate it anyway. A teen ordered chicken parm. Noodles were dry and flavourless. The chicken was really salty. The other teen ordered the taco salad. Loved it! 2 adults ordered fish and chips. The slaw was flavourless. The fish dry. I ordered the breaded shrimp. They were greasy. I didn t touch the kernel corn (how much does anyone want to rent this season. It s the holidays). We all were good with the fries. Cost was reasonable. Back to the great servers, thank you. Vegetarian options: Vegan burger. Salads, fries, Parking: In a strip plaza Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. We tried to order the pizza. They said it was pizza bites (like the zappems). Wheelchair accessibility: Barrier free

The place offers a family atmosphere and is very popular with local people, they have a special menu for older adults and children. The sandwiches are delicious and pretty close to home-cooked food. The waitress was very friendly. I recommend stopping by if you are looking for a light dinner, they have breakfast all day. The menu is quite economical.

This has been & still is one of my favourite breakfast & dining places. It s where the locals come & has a real small town charm. Staff is always great. Prices are great & if you know niagara you ll be sure to find some friendly familiar faces here. They always cook eggs perfect!

Love this place so much. Everytime I come up to this part of CA I always eat here. The staff is always welcoming with the most excellent hospitality and service. The eggs benny here is very delicious. The hollandaise is a nice thick creamy sauce that is well balanced. Home fries are crispy with each crunch and the fruit salad is alway fresh.

We went here during breakfast rush on a Sunday. There was a big line up but we were in within 10min. The waitress was amazing as was the food and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Ive been going to Silks for a long time and finally decided to write a review. My Dad used to take me here for all day breakfast. It was always great food great value and great staff. Nothing has changed. Except more and more people are hearing about this place. It was busy but still provided the same great food, value and service. I still enjoyed the all day breakfast. I will try and visit here more often. Recently visited, its still great place.

If you want a great breakfast or brunch you should just go here without a doubt. Food is great, atmosphere is nice and service is excellent. You cant go wrong. Food

I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was absolutely delicious. Portion size excellent. Flame broiled for an amazing bbq taste. Service is excellent. Always friendly. Love the all day breakfast. You can t go wrong with any menu item. Will be back again and again.

This place is so great! I live in Niagara Falls and Ive been to many breakfast places.. but this one is perfect. The food is incredible and the prices are so cheap compared to other places.. its literally a hidden gem. The food is the best! This is my girlfriend and my third day in a row here. The coffee is soooo good! Lisa and Kelly are such sweethearts. It was so nice talking with Lisa today. We will be back! Thank you ladies!!! 10/10 for Silks!!

For many years my grandfather travelled from Scotland to visit family , And this was always his go to for breakfast . And since his passing my family have continued the tradition knowing he would be there too . Food is always great service is above and beyond . See you soon

Great place to take your mommy for mothers Day

My friend & I tried out this hidden gem on Sunday evening. We were served by Megan. Such a beautiful young lady, who made us feel welcome and at home. We both had pasta and ice tea, because I do not have a mind of my own and can think for myself. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We laughed a lot with our waitress. She was extremely bubblely and delivered excellent service. Thank you for everything! Meeting you was an absolute pleasure. Wishing you well!

What a great place to eat!! The building is simple with no frills, the food was fresh, super fast to come, not salty at all. Good portions, fresh fruit, modest prices. I had the eggs Benedict with home fries and fruit, and my husband had the all-beef cabbage rolls. Parking: Small parking lot.

I always visit Silks when I have to be in the Niagara area. Serving sizes and prices are very reasonable and the servers are always cheerful. The restaurant is in need of a make-over though, but dont let that distract you.. It is clean and quaint. Ive never been disappointed when visiting Silks.

This is a great casual dining place. I had the all beef cabbage rolls. The food was excellent quality and came to the table quickly. There was a short line to get seated, but thats only because the place was full at noon on a Sunday.

Nice family diner. Surprisingly cozy in the dining room, with lots of wood. Good food at decent prices. Service was attentive even though it was a busy Sunday morning. The washrooms need a fresh coat of paint -- literally; I think someone used latex paint instead of oil for a wet environment, so its all washed away anywhere water would have splashed -- but other than that were clean and well-kept. Well definitely stop here again if were on our way to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Good breakfast for the price. Excellent service keeping the coffee filled in timely fashion. Well worth the drive from Niagara-Falls area. Eat here then see all the sites that open at 10:00am.

This is your small town breakfast joint. Always delicious. Always speedy. Always accommodating even when busy. Can always count on them to deliver consist quality experiences.

A good old fashioned family restaurant. All the old standards like hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes, liver and onions, and fish and chips. Had delicious new takes on some old standards as well, called the melts. They take an old fashioned sandwich like a tuna melt, Reuben, or a club, and toast it up like a grilled cheese. Served with fries or a salad it was terrific. Servers were very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was very clean, warm and inviting. Not so formal that you wouldnt take your kids but a step up from a diner. Would definitely recommend on a trip to Niagara on the Lake, especially as an alternative to one of the wineries. Centrally located off the main drag in Virgil

Everything we ordered was delicious, but the best part was Lisa and how well she treated us like family. Super great hostess and was very glad to tell us the local grocery stores, and places to go. Just loved the place. Georgia family will visit again when at Niagara Falls.

Walked in when there was only 4 people in the restaurant . 2 waitresses walked by with no greeting and didn t seat us after waiting for 5 min, so we left and the restaurant across the street Sono s Cafe-Donut Diner is way better with amazing service and food.

My sister and I went to silks around 11:15 for a meal. I understand the two waitress were busy but they really did not even acknowledge us waiting. She finally sat us at a table and then continued to clear the other tables. We sat there for over 15 minutes and we were not even acknowledge once to see what we would like to drink or even o will be right with you. We decided to leave and we wont be back. Its ashame because we really liked the food.

I ordered senior special not realizing it doesnt come with home fries, so I ask waitress if I could get them on the side she said yes no problem but will cost you $ 5.00 . Talking about greediness, that would be my last visit there.

They accommodated our group of 9 in 10-15 minutes. The portions were generous, the fresh coffee kept coming, the bill for two of us was one quarter of what we paid for dinner in Niagara Falls (and better tasting!) and the server was fantastic. I was so happy to get a benedict My cousin raved about his pancakes and the entire table was so pleased that we came here instead of a chain restaurant. I would not come anywhere else for breakfast or lunch when Im visiting Niagara now :)

This is your typical diner-style restaurant. The wait staff was friendly, and they seemed to know the names of the regulars, which was sweet. The food was good. My only complaint was the construction in the intersection where this restaurant is. (We visited October 2023). Its not the restaurants fault, but beware of construction if youre going to visit!

Good home cooked meals with friendly staff. Large portion sizes and a great value. The menu is has a large variety of things to choose from and everything Ive tried has been spot on! Recently I had their lunch special which had a poblano pepper and cheese soup which was one of the best soups Ive had in a long time! Silks is one of those local places you probably drive by a 100 times and think I wonder if its good. Its definitely worth checking out.

Been coming here my whole life, dont even live in the province anymore and I keep coming back whenever I go home. The staff is basically family and will make any new person who comes there feel the same way. Fair priced home cooked meals, you cant go wrong
