Have not been in for a bit but jumping on weekends has boat launch also three and at New Hope insists on three there is what it should say

Table was dirty. Service slow (we were only customers) I had the fish-and-chips.It didnt taste bad but then again.It didnt have much Taste at all. However it looked burnt as did the fries.I think the oil in the fryer was last changed in 1980

Good food, good drinks, good music, good outdoor venue complete with your own Sandy Beach! Fun atmosphere and environment. Excellent service.

Sooo disappointing. Took a motorcycle ride to Wimpy s to see our favorite cover band Heartless. Got there before showtime which was supposed to be 6:00. Waited around til 7:30 and they still hadn t started. No real explanation either. And the bar had all their draft beers out of order and only some cans available. We left so we wouldn t have to ride back in the dark. No music tonight. Oh well

Always like to visit this marina they always have fun things going on.

Took almost 2 hours to get a burger and a sandwich and fries kitchen staff was completely overwhelmed it wasnt that busy my sandwich was pretty much burned hamburger was okay not particularly season well it was very disappointing

Cool spot thats on the deltas. Good boat ramps and a nice outside beach area for bands and to just hang out. Cold beers and a restaurant to boot. Oh!! They also have quite a few boat ramps to dock on. Cool spot!

I ate lunch at Wimpys my friends and it was my very first time visiting. The bartender created 2 unique drinks for me and my friends and they were delicious. I ordered the fish and chips, and they were fantastic. The seasoning on the chips were so good, I didnt want ketchup on them. The fish was thick and the size of my palms, not including fingers. I received 3 large fish pieces with tarter sauce. I was impressed of the great flavors. The waitress in the restaurant that took my order was very nice and easy to get along with. She even made a few funny jokes. I had a great time at Wimpys.

Visited with a friend. Dine Al fresco or indoors. The river breeze was pleasant, staff was warm and welcoming, small town friendly. The half pound burger is fresh and honest, get it your way, with delish onion rings, fries or tots. We ll be back for sure.

Fries were almost black. Remade them and they came out just the same. Waitress said thats how they make them. Oil in the fryer had to be really dirty. French dip was awful too. Instead of sliced meat it was crispy crumbles. Had to wait a long time for our drinks. Thr sandwich sat in the widow for quite awhile and my sandwich came about 10 minutes later

The staff were nice but service was very slow and not well done. We waited around 30 min for our food when we only saw one other table without food when we entered the restaurant. When we received our food, one of our orders were wrong. I received a plate with a small portion of scrambled egg instead of what I ordered which was a 2 egg breakfast with sunny-side-up eggs. When the server tried to correct this a plate was brought out with uncooked raw egg. My boyfriend ordered a Denver omelette which was covered in excessive grease and plain unpleasant to eat. As college students we don t think our meals were worth the money.

Awesome staff, fun original drink recipes when we were there, superb atmosphere and views outside with amazing live music!

Cool place to catch a bite to eat.

Went out to see the Sandhill cranes at dawn on Saturday, and then hit Wimpys for a delicious breakfast and much-needed hot coffee. Our server Julie was so friendly and upbeat, everybody in the restaurant was smiling and happy. Food was excellent and the vibe was fantastic. A delta treasure.

The staff are always friendly and professional.bartenders.very kind to the guests.

Food isnt the best .. Actually far from it .. Drinks are okay if u just want the regular well drinks or beer simple and easy enough , food was under cooked and the portions are skimpy .. Skimpy whimpy . bright side the vibe is cool being down by the water in the tiki area with a drink is nice ... This drink in my pics is the mocow mule ... And those fries are supposedly loaded lol I guess it depends in you ... Loved this place as a kid and its never been the same .

Ive only ever arrived at Wimpys by boat. Good access. Good dock space. Good food and service. Good waterskiing in the slough to the south.

Bad service and half our meal was missing when asked for the missing food 3x never gotten waitress/manager excuse was the kitchen was slammed. Umm there were only two other tables of people in the restaurant and she said we just got a call in order. That s no excuse to be missing half the food in your meal. After complaining she only charged us for one meal. We will never return!

Entertaining music for late afternoon. Bustling bar for quenching thirst with wide screen TV to view Tasty fries accompanied fish with chips from bar menu. Dining area for groups spacious. Will return to check out marinas outdoor deck for sunset lounging or AM socializing.

Visit the pirate ship and antique tug boat

Good food and service. Loved eating outside in the warm sun while it peeked out from among the clouds this New Years Day.

It is a fun spot to fish for little Blue gill and bass they are also making a pirate place and theme park with a pirate boat ride! However the locals who live in the RV park are not very nice and will kick you off any dock for no apparent reason and make somthing up.

Food was terrible, I spent $81.00 for food that we could not eat. Everything was greasy and it tasted like old grease and salt. The clam chowder was canned and cold. The French fries were so dark and limp and soggy. The patty melt was filled with grease that you could see it. We had to put everything in the garbage and order food somewhere else.

Cute little place, nice staff, good for typical food. Needs some healthy options.

Great little place to launch your boat to go fishing or skiing. The restaurant is excellent especially the half pound burger, its huge so bring your appetite. also try the chili omelette for breakfast I highly recommend them both.

Its mostly a bar, since it seems that the new owner is closing the current restaurant.

Service started shady and only went downhill from there. Do NOT use debit card there, mine was hacked after I used it there. Views are amazing but there were A LOT of flys with no visible means of trying to lessen the swarms.

Overrated

The detail and hard work theyve put into the grounds is amazing. You get a Tropicana feel as you enter the front gate. The band playing was really good and the bbq tasted delicious.

Not that good, took 50 minutes to get our food, fries tasted like fish,really cant recommend this place in good faith.

Keep the pirate guy out and I will come back!!!!

Well we use New Hope marina easier launch and parking. Plus they finally have a new Dock.

I just love Whimpys its so easy to launch your boat and the store staff is so nice and very helpful. If you like the Delta Whimpys is a must. The Restaurant is under new management Im not sure about the food but the outside bar usually has live music on the weekends it great, we just watch the band right from the comfort of our boat.

Too expensive.

Service was less than impressive. The wait for food(a simple hamberger) was ridiculously long. I could have ordered a dominos pizza and had it delivered in the time it took to get our food. Out side seating had zero shade and no air conditioning inside. Very dissalointed.

Recently had to stop and enjoyed a great meal with close family. Been here before; so long ago. Imprinted forevermore.

$5 a piece to launch our kayaks and park our truck in the upper parking lot. Theres a store, restaurant, bait shop, bar, indoor and patio seating. Go downstairs to pay for launch.

We just waited 55 minutes to get 2 burgers and a sandwich... NOT okay. The wait staff were very nice, but she was tending bar and taking orders and serving....NOT okay...... Probably will not be back. Would not recommend to visit this restaurant if you don t have all day. The bar downstairs was nice. Maybe we just hit them at a bad time?????

Thee experience was horrible.The waitress Heather was totally rude I believe she was truly racist she had a bad attitude.Im not sure how the food was because our group left before we could even receive our orders FYI PLEASE DONT DRINK THE WATER.THE WATER PITCHERS THEY SERVE OUT OF ARE DISGUSTING.OVERALL HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

For a first timer there I was treated great. Answered all my questions and took care of me so I could grab a sandwich and potatoe salad quick while I put in my kayak for 5.00 and get out there fishing. Looked like good food being served and a comfortable bar at the other end.
