Waited for my mobile order for almost 20 minutes at the mobile order pick up. They had it sitting under the lamp for 15 minutes and they didnt offer to make me a new one and it was warm at best.

The staff were amazing even while the store was super busy with their promotion today (Halloween). The woman who appeared to be in charge was being super positive to the other staff and customers all while being extremely timely with the orders! Bravo A&W Wasaga Beach!

Food did not sit right with me. My burger tasted incredibly rubbery. Id have had a better time chewing my tires than eating this.

The food there is usually pretty good now service is real bad if I could give less then 1 star I would. I was just there its Sunday night at 6pm i pull up to order my food at drive thru was told to wait a minute after ten minutes I backed out and left. there was 3 employees working. No one in the restaurant and only 1 person ahead of me in drive Tru I shouldnt have to wait over ten minutes just to place my order they need to hire better staff

The employees were super friendly and had good customer service. The bathrooms and condiment areas could of been more tidy.

Umair was exceptional. On a damp drizzley day he permitted me and my two little dogs into the restaurant.

A great eatery stop in the heart of Wasaga. Short staffed and busy dont mix well. Took a longer time to get our food. Otherwise, a great fast fois puck up!

All tables were not cleaned, food crumbs, drink spills, ketchup smudges. It was a turn off to sit there trying to enjoy your food.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places! Today it is Sunday sept 1st and I had a great breakfast and also want to appreciate the service from the guys that served me in the morning. Keep it up. Thank you and God bless you.

Why have a sign that says all day breakfast and then not do it

Just went to the restaurant and got pancakes and they didnt give me syrup. Wasted money and time. At work and cant eat my breakfast. Sucks

no issues with the food but over 25 minutes to get served in the restaurant is ridiculous, they didnt eave made our food until I complained, dissaponted.

Waited over 25 minutes for 6 drinks and a poutine. Not sure if they were under staffed or had issues, but the wait was not worth it.

In a world where fast food must be ordered while flashing tv screens change every few seconds before you have a chance to see what s on the menu, I was really impressed by the customer service at this A&W. came here with my parents who are in their 80s and not able to read super fast screens. the cashier very patiently explained the options to us and then the manager himself came out while she returned to her post at the cash register. The manager helped us find what we wanted and repeated the options as necessary. He was very kind and helpful throughout. Mom appreciated the grab bars in the bathroom. Thanks for the outstanding service!

I tried the masala veggie burger and it is really good. Would suggest everyone even to the meat lovers to give this burger a try.

It took them 20 minutes to get our order the first time- it was totally incorrect (Im talking missing a full sandwich, a second incorrectly made burger and random onion rings in the bag when we didnt order those). We waited another 15 minutes at the window after explaining the order was incorrect. Then after that time they had to come back and ask again what we needed. From there it took 3 different workers asking us for the order and another 10 minutes before we finally got our missing two burgers. No apology, nothing.

I went for the whistle dog. Wasnt impressed with it at all.

I really like this A & W. It is always tidy, the style of the indoor seating is great and they have fabulous outdoor seating. The food is delicious and standard fare for what youd expect at an A & W

In the morning, there is a fabulous employee by the name of Crystal. She is exceptional at making the dining experience wonderful. She is attentive, responsive and is able to anticipate my dining wants and needs. I have become absolute In love with the restaurants piri piri potato sandwiches! It s a vegan dream! I hope that Crystal is there for a long time to come as the family and I enjoy this particular location and service.

Worst service

Clean and tidy great location. I had a double combo burger and cappuccino was good hot juicy tender and affordable prices. Did enjoy my stay friendly staff names Breanne , Florisa and Julia and the other guy.I would recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the great work! I walked in for the first time in August of 2023 and I ordered 4 espresso in 1 cup , after a month they increased the price of the espresso and said that I wasnt paying enough for 4 espressos ( strike 1 ) and increased the price to over 4$ so I stopped ordering espresso and instead ordered a large coffee with oat milk and sugar with a refill ... a month later after drinking 4 coffees every morning they increased the price saying the oatmilk was 50c more( strike 2) ... a month later I began having 2 honeys instead of sugar then a month later they wanted more $ for the honey so I was paying 3.45$ for 2 large coffees ( strike 3) , at 615 am this morning I ordered a large coffee and price went to 4.95$ and I said its OK u wont see my business here again and I went to the Tims across the street. Oat milk cost less than regular milk for your information . In business usually how it works is the more you spend the less you pay , I spend $300 a month 3600$ yearly but my price keeps going up . You lost my business that 3600$ over 10 years is 36000$ . Your service is terrible because u dont have enough business to pay the extra staff but if u offend your best customer like you did thats $300 a month less revenue and even harder to pay the employees meaning even less staff. Its not the fault of the employees because they r just following orders. Mr Manager by gauging people like you do you will scare your customers away like you did to me.

Well, heres another 1 star Review Wasaga A & W (Ive read the Reviews here). You should get your act together. 3 of us just went. We were given white lettuce in our teen burgers, I had to go up & ask for green. The chicken strips werent just cooked per my order, you could tell - they should be really HOT, not barely warm. Charged me 50 cents for 1 extra sauce, & dont tell you. As I was paying, my son asked for the cup to get his drink. Male cashier said I cant give it to you until its paid for. Buddy, IM STANDING AT THE REGISTER WITH THE CASH IN MY HAND TO PAY YOU!!!! He said we have our rules - OMG. Napkin dispenser was empty. We had to go back to cashier for ketchup as dispenser was empty. We had to wipe off our own table & seat as it wasnt clean from previous customers. It wasnt busy there. Staff were standing around talking to each other. Not a pleasant experience. Go to the Collingwood location folks, theyre much better at running a restaurant properly. Female cashier was mouthy to me. I have a good mind to call head office.

Very disappointed with the service today. Ordered sweet potato fries with my combo, got asked to wait to the side as they had to be made fresh. Got home and fries were barley even cooked. Ordered an ice tea and got water. Rest of food did not taste fresh at all either. Still paid 40$.

Poor service. There at 6 in a Friday night waited 10 mins before someone came to counter to take order. Than waited another 10 min for food which wasent even warm.

Ordered my food through drive through. I was told to park so I can get fresh onion rings. 7 vehicles also parked. They got their order before mine and they still managed to screw up my order. Waited 30 mins for my food from this so called fast food. I wish I could give a no star review. Very disappointed at a&w right about now.

This A&W is special it is one of the first with an espresso machine, Im hoping the rest of the A&W stores follow this one. Until some time in March they are offering $2 Espresso drinks . I drink an Oatmilk latte pretty much everyday and this A&W makes great Oatmilk Lattes, even better than Starbucks and the nearby Tim Hortons which tends to be a bit inconsistent meaning they sometimes short change on the amount of espresso they put in the medium size that I buy.

Food is great however a number of times either the beyond meat burgers when ordered online get messed up or I get regular meat instead of beyond meat which I cant eat.

I went for breakfast, drive through. Ordered a sausage egg on English muffin, hash browns and coffee. I never had a breakfast sandwich done so badly. The English muffin was as hard as a rock, I couldnt bite into it. I took it apart and noticed the cheese was hard too, and actually melted hard into the muffin, so I just ate the egg. Couldnt bring it back since I was driving to work. Im thinking because they made me wait in the parking lot for 10 minutes waiting on a hash brown, I bet they microwaved the egg sandwich since it was probably done before the hash brown. I will definitely not go back there. Should have went with my first hunch and went to McDonalds for their breakfast sandwich, they never failed me yet.

Wasaga location is the worst A&W Ive ever been to. Burgers are low quality, hardly anything on them and buns seem old. Not a good value.

Every time I come here, there is not enough people working or they just cannot handle more than maybe 3 customers. The people working behind the counter take over 5 minutes to come take my order and never acknowledge me at all, even when there are only 1 or 2 cars in drive thru. If youre going to be a while, at least say something like, Be right with you! Then, when my order is finally taken, its a 50/50 chance everything is cooked properly. I have worked in restaurants and fast food for years, and the service here is the worst in town. Either the owner cant find the right workers, isnt paying them enough, or there is just not enough staff in this building. The only good thing about this building is that its newly built. Eat anywhere else but here.

Worst customer service I ve experienced in a while. Took at least 15 mins to even acknowledge our existence and when they did it was only Because we asked. After the drink machine was broken they left us waiting another 10 mins before we had to ask for the drink. I customer served myself

The worst A&W experience I have had. Waited there for at least 20 minutes before they acknowledged us. The place wasnt even busy and we had to get their attention to even come over. They took a while to make the food as well and they did a terrible job at that. They forgot some drinks and we had to get their attention before they informed us they didnt even have it. Why even let us order it? It shouldnt take more than half an hour to get food when almost nobody is even there.

People typically spend 15 minutes here yeah right, you ll spend 20 before they even acknowledge you to take your order. Literally every customer I saw today waited at least half an hour to get their food and they weren t even busy.

Best Burgers, Fries and Root Beer!

I have never felt like such an inconvenience in an establishment. Upon arriving, it took 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and they only took one of our 4 orders then went back to ignoring us. We had to ask to have the rest of our orders taken. When our orders were all finally ready, we were missing a frozen rootbeer. When we got the staffs attention they said the machine wasn t working. You would think they would let us know that and offer another option. On top of the extremely long wait times, staff was rude and dismissive. Save yourself the money and 40+ minutes and go to a sit down restaurant.

the food here is always consistent and comes quick. i get the mozza burger with fries. this time I tried a strawberry shake though it tasted good it had a bit of a icy texture

Have been to the Wasaga Beach location a couple times and have had a good experience. Cant say this about other A&W locations such as the one at the Narrows in Orillia. Corporate needs to read these reviews and start to keep the poor locations in check. McDonalds does it well. Other fast food chains need to do the same. Taco Bell is very very bad.

Slowest service ever! There s only two staff working and the one at the counter had the I don t give a $! attitude. No greeting, no can I take your order. When I asked were the drink fountain was, all he did was point. It took 20 minutes for my order and no sorry for the wait !

They really shouldnt call this a drive thru. You order, you pay, and then they tell you to pull ahead to a parking area that is usually full. 75% of the time we have to walk in to find out where our food is and usually still have to wait inside. Very poorly run, dont go there if youre in a hurry, or dont want to have to go inside to find your order. Food is good though, frozen root beer was also a hit with our family.

I have to say the food smelt better than it tasted. Seemed like the burgers were over cooked. It was very dry. We decided to eat in and found it definitely would have been faster to walk out and go through the drive thru and come back in. I believe they might have been short staffed. The three that were working did there best to keep up but anyone that walked in waited along time which made it even more disappointing to find we got stuck eating a second rate burger. Not one person left smiling. I will try here again but will monitor how many are on staff and only order if they seem to have a full crew.

We had the best burger, we have ever tasted. Its a long wait, but its worth it, I really wanted to get another burger. Especially the onion rings, they made it by not using old oil. Totally

I love A&W, but this wasaga location is almost always, bad at best of times mediocre. The fries are almost always stale, the onion rings are always soggy and this last burger was a tiny kids patty on my teen burger that was cooked to the consistency of a hockey puck. I ve gone here 4 times because it s so close to my house but they continue to deliver a consistently terrible meal. Done with this place. Added a photo so people can enjoy the experience with me.

Fancy design to attract customers but wont comback there was flies everywhere, ketchup dispenser was broken, bathroom was trash and we had to clean the table ourselves.

Always missing condiments on burgers (pickles, onions some times lettuce)or wrong condiments put on a burger Mazza burger had mustard on it) over all they don t seem to know what they are doing Ask for ketchup in bag. Don t get it or napkins.

The food is ok, but there often something off... like this last time I got 3 turnovers...2 apple, 1 blueberry. Never got blueberry just an apple with no cinnamon on it...not the same. And I was looking forward to the blueberry one.

Don t be fooled by the empty drive thru, this restaurant is WAY too slow! You order & pay, and then they always tell you they are waiting on something & ask you to go park. I ve waited 20+ minutes every time! Breakfast, lunch & diner time. Only worth it if you re not in a hurry.

All-around golden service. Could name some outstanding staff, but really, everyone is great. Super friendly serving smiles and good food. The new A&W Brew Bar at this location offers epic espresso drinks along with new cold and frozen options for summer. The Chai latte is nicely rounded with a shot or two of espresso; my go to. Even when the place is hopping with long lines, the staff work quick and efficiently together without compromising quality. Im thankful to all the staff, everyone at the front to the depths of the kitchen.

I used to have good experiences with A&W restaurants, however that unfortunately is changing. The Wasaga Beach location is a surprise, as (and I know it hasnt been open that long) Ive never had a good experience. The wait times for food are way to long, and when the food finally arrives the quality is disappointing (burnt buns and missing sauces). Its just so sad to see another once great fast food chain go down the drain.

Masks!? Amazing and very Positive Staff. Great food. I would give Five stars if they werent made to wear those useless face coverings! All summer long. They cant breathe! The owner should be ashamed of himself! Take off the damn masks already! This isnt 2020!

This is a really nice A&W with a lot of drinks we have not seen before like frozen root beer and root beer with shakes mixed together. They also have a large selection of specialty coffee and tea drinks both hot and cold. Staff were great and the food was hot and fresh as expected. Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers, sweet potato fries and onion rings. Parking: Free parking Kid-friendliness: Selection of kids meals. Wheelchair accessibility: All on one floor with access ramps from parking lot and accessible parking spots nearby.

Was very good when it first opened up. But recently every time I ve been the food has been soggy and cold. Specially there onion rings and as well as the poutine.

Love their coffee

They charge 50 cents for oat milk in coffee. I will be going elsewhere from now on. No other coffee places charge. Last time I checked, oat milk and regular milk are the same price.

I have a bad taste about my visit as I upon eating here had food poisoning. Needless to say I wont be visiting in the near future. If you like to know I had a teen burger combo.
