Thonburi Thai Food in Wasaga Beach

On Friday December 6th, 2024, I attended the Wasaga Beach Location, one that I have attended since the opened at least once a month; however, over the course of the past couple.of months I have noticed a steady decline into the customer service and quality of food in this particular establishment. For this reason, my family and I will no longer attend the location in Wasaga however make the drive to Collingwood. Much better level of customer service quality of food. On this day I had decided that I would try to call my order in ahead of time, as usual you could not get through. I had decided that I would just order in person and wait. Upon waiting I witnessed the Only female worker answer the phone to take an order. While on the phone with this customer the level of rudeness from the staff member taking the order was unbelievable because the client on the phone had accidently called the wrong establishment location. Instead of saying no problem and calling the Collingwood establishment for them; she slammed the phone down and walked away leaving it off the hook so others could not call in to place the order. Prior to this, on numerous times I have tried to call ahead and place an order so I could just pick up the order on my way home from work and never got through. Sometimes I would notice that the phone had not been hung up properly or left on the counter not receiver, other times I would arrive at 7:30 to 7:45 to find the establishment closed. Un sure of what is going on as the Hours that have been stenciled on the door say 8:30pm closing as well as the website on Google. At the same time there is a handwritten notice on the door that says completely different hours and still are closed before that time. What is Going on? In Speaking with members off the community I am aware that I am not the only person who is frustrated with this place and ultimately would rather drive a ½ hour each way to the other location than attend the location that is in our own town. This keeps up I am sure that this location will not be able to survive in today s economy and have to close. This would be extremely sad as I am sure that the owners are a Family Oriented Restaurant and would be ashamed if they were aware of how their staff were treating customers. Lets Bring this Place back to How it was two years ago, when a customer would walk in and be greeted like family and a smile, food was made with care and not thrown together and treated by a staff member with attitude. Like the Collingwood Blue Mountain Location still does to this day. Do Better staff at Thorburni Thai Wasaga Beach!!!! From A concerned Resident of Wasaga Beach!!!!!

Very disappointing the pad thai was extremely salty had no flavor. The beef in the Thai curry was so tough it was inedible.

The best Thai in the area! The family has been around for ever and I have been eating at their restaurant for over 10 years.

First time trying Thonburi Thai and I was not disappointed. We got the spring rolls, mango salad to start, both were fab! My hubby got Gang Panang while I had the Pad Thonburi. The curry was so flavourful and delicious and the pad Thai definitely fulfilled my craving. We will definitely be back!

We love trying thai places around Ontario. Staff was friendly. Pad-Thai was both sweet and spicy. Dietary restrictions: have gluten free and vegetarian items.

Great portions sizes for the price. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Service was quick. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This is a little gem of a place. We had pad Thai that had tons of flavor and the pineapple fried rice was different than expected, but in the most amazing way. And if that wasnt enough, we got an appetizer that was ground chicken in spices with fried rice paper that was just delightful! You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didnt try that appetizer. The owner is also very pleasant!

The decor is fresh and modern. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Food tastes fresh, nice portion and good variety of vegetables but it s too over powering sweet, sour and not well balanced. I personally will not come back.

Delicious food and excellent service! Highly recommend. I felt safe eating gluten free options here as a celiac. The portions were also very filling--I usually finish my entire meal at restaurants, but I had so much food here that I have leftovers for lunch! Good value for sure.

We specifically ordered the Pad Sen Lek because the description said it was spicy. The dish came so full of sugar with absolutely no spice, none. In was really really bad. We have been to Thailand so we know what it was supposed to taste like. If you like really sweet with no spice whatsoever this is the place for you. When we told them all they said was sorry. Gee do you think they should have maybe taken to back and get us what we ordered? Nope! We paid, in full, and left. Never going back. Buyer beware!!!!! This review was for the Collingwood location not the Wasaga Beach location.

First time ordering with the new owners. Takeout order for 3 orders of chicken pad thai came to just under $50 plus tax and tip. When opened, it looked like plain noodles and not much else. After digging around, I found the chicken, and was surprised at how little chicken there was. Very little. And very little everything else. Ive had Katamanis many times, and was always pleased with both the serving size and the taste. This order had ok taste, but not as tasty as it should have been, and there was about half the amount of chicken that Katamanis used to put in. Being curious, I separated the chicken from the noodles and weighed each. 15.2 oz noodles and 3.1 oz chicken breast. Thats not even half of a decent sized chicken breast. Loblaws currently has skinless boneless chicken on for $4.99 a pound, so at this price, I got $0.96 worth of chicken per each $16.25 serving. No way this is anything close to value for your dollar. I see many good reviews here, but I cant agree with. Im growing tired of shrinkflation and businesses increasing price while reducing quality and/or quantity in the name of maintaining profits. Im a local resident and we order out several times per month, but after this, I will not give Thornburi any more business and I wont recommend them to anyone looking for decent Thai food as we did with Katamanis. Good luck staying in business, but if this is your strategy, Im not sure well be seeing you for much longer. What a shame.

We went for an early dinner. The service was excellent. The dining room is very pleasantly decorated making for a warm experience. We had spring rolls, a mango salad and the house special pad Thai with chicken. All three items were fresh and very flavourful. We particularly enjoyed the mango salad which was the best I ve ever had. It was topped with toasted coconut and had a lovely lime dressing. With tea, the bill came to $44 making it very reasonably priced. We will make this place a go to for dinner. Note they don t take credit cards.

Highly recommended and one of the best places for Thai food in the area! If you love Pad Thai, choose 9.1 and you wont be disappointed. Very quick service and friendly staff. Clean kitchen and clean dining room. Reasonable prices and convenient location with lots of parking.

First time and this place was amazing. A symphony of flavor explosions on the palate. fresh and vegan and gluten options. Extremely impressed as well with the friendly and informative service. This is a Wasaga Beach secret that needs to be shared. Will be our go to. Some many more dishes to try. Number one Dave was the beef salad with mint. A complete wow! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and gluten free options Dietary restrictions: Despite an egg allergy, I was able to eat everything as they just exclude the egg.

Super friendly, wonderfully tasty food, and well priced (in this new economy, its well priced). Weve been back many times, and sometimes the quality changes, but it has always been tasty. Most of the time, its delicious, and at worst, its still good (but this has been rare). And the portions are big! Which is good, in my opinion. Well definitely continue to go back.

The food was terrible. Meat in dishes was not fresh. It was pre cooked and then just thrown on top. Very sweet. Nothing like authentic Thai food. Just really, really bad.

Very disappointed with my experience. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken - the chicken clearly had been added after the pad thai was cooked and just coated in the sauce. It was dry and just tasted like rewarmed , cooked chicken. I didnt eat it ... I complained and did not get any offer of replacement or anything taken of the very expensive bill. An order of spring rolls, chicken & shrimp pad thai, tea came to 41.23 plus tip. Wont be going there again!

Generally good food and friendly service. Tonight was slow on take out again and two dishes unfortunately had (the same?) stale nuts on top. But still tasty, if not the meats a a little dry and sparse. One of the (very few) decent food spots in Wasaga

We ordered for pickup and had five dishes. The curries were smooth and absolutely delicious. Noodles were great with a good amount of ingredients. We will definitely order again.

A lovely little spot in Wasaga. We went here on Christmas Eve for dinner and had a great time. The service was informative and very kind, and the food was excellent! Best Thai curry Ive ever had! A great spot!

Felt like michelin star level quality. had the tom yum soup & it was out of this world. so unique & fresh, had the chicken curry as well with the beef salad & everything was so special & flavourful. my wife had the pad thai & she said it was the best pad thai she has ever had & she has travelled to asia & had authentic pad thai!! the complementary rice pudding desert with mango was very nice as well, but not very sweet surprisingly (came back 3 weeks later and the food & service was just as good. try the 32-1 most amazing food!)

Used to be a perfect 5 star thai place years ago... but the quality seems to have gone down lately as some items I order are frequently inconsistent. Two years ago the Khao Soi was the best soup Ive had in my entire life... but when I ordered it recently there were many changes that lowered the quality. The fried noodles were changed to something worse, the tofu was changed to something worse, and the broth was majorly lacking flavor compared to the past. 1. Fried egg noodles > bland crispy rice noodles Its gluten free, which is maybe why this was changed... but its flavor free too. Just have two options. 2. Big fluffy + crispy chunks of tofu > Flat rubbery tofu of disappointment. If you are out of ingredients then dont serve poor substitutions. A customer does not want to be surprised. 3. Strong spicy and sour broth flavor > watered down milky broth flavor. Why did our soup have no flavor?? Do cooks follow a recipe? Did someone think that watered down milky flavor is an improvement? Not really sure why recipes that were perfect for years are being altered so much... but things that are perfect do not need creative changes. Thankfully the thai style pad thai is still perfect.

Absolutely amazing Thai food! We arent from the area and have been trying alot of Thai restaurants whenever we travel and this was by far one of the best one weve had! Cant wait to come back service was great and the restaurant was lovely! Dont have to worry about left overs here youll be cleaning your plate for sure !!

This was the first time my husband and I went to Thonburi Thai Food Restaurant (inside North Creek Resort) at Blue Mountains and we had a fabulous Thai dinner! I had the Pad Saparod #19 on the menu that has Sweet Pineapple and exactly what the menu said it is sweet, tangy and juicy so good. My husband had Kow Pad #23 on the menu which is not spicy and he really enjoyed. The restaurant is very clean, the service was great, and the meals were excellent with a decent portion size (see my photo)! We would highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely delicious food and such friendly staff, food came out quite quickly also, and they were awesome about preparing the dishes without gluten for my daughter, who is Celiac. Highly recommend!!

Oh my gosh what an amazing place. The staff...and especially the main hostess are sooo friendly and fun. I had #28 Gang Masaman ... so flavorful! Had Jasmine tea and the spring rolls. Overall super delicious. We came on live music Tuesday night...what a blast! Totally recommend! Note: back again! Sooo good! Love love love love love this place.

They show they are open until 8:30 pm and the restaurant agreed open until 8:30 pm. I called at 7:57pm for a take out order but was told they are closed for take out. Just making you aware to place your order well in advance. Website does not mention this.

Best Thai food, as good as Thai food in Thailand

I spent some time in Thailand and I can tell you Thonburi Thai is truly authentic and absolutely delicious! The staff were absolutely lovely as well. I didn t mark any stars for the atmosphere, because they literally just opened in Wasaga Beach and are in the middle of doing renovations, although I can t wait until it s done as I m sure it will be lovely and a new local favourite :)

I tried to go to this restaurant but it doesnt exist in Collingwood. I asked a bunch of locals that were in the area where the ball indicated and they have never heard of the restaurant. I finally called the restaurant and they told me they were located in Wasaga Beach. So dont waste your time trying to look for it.

First off the women answering the phone are amazing and very helpful. Especially with some noobs to thai food. They recommended dishes and the food was amazing. If you like proper thai food, check this place out.

Food was so delicious! It is so authentic and fresh, made with high quality ingredients. We had the vegetarian spring rolls (ordered a 2nd round, they were so good!) and my 4 and 7 year old loved them - normally they refuse all vegetables! For mains we had yellow curry, the stir fry with peanut sauce and pad thai - no left overs and my kids ate the broccoli in the peanut sauce - a miracle!!! We will be back soon and cant wait til they open a location in Collingwood!

Best Thai food around!

We (3 adults and 2 children) ate at Thonburi Thai in Wasaga last night. From the moment I walked in to see if they could accommodate our group for dining in, we had amazing helpful service. We ordered spring rolls and mango salad immediately and these arrived really quickly. The mango salad is truly best we have had - perfect balance of ingredients and super tasty dressing. We then had beef salad which was a very delightful blend of delicious beef and mint and other salad items. Will certainly order this again!! We then had Pad See Eu - the kids loved this - it had nice flavour although noodles were rather sticky. The Pad med mamuang was amazing - so flavourful and sweet - we all loved this dish. Our overall favourite was the Gang Panang - incredible deep flavour and perfect chicken texture. Along with jasmine tea and mango drinks for the kids this was an exceptionally wonderful meal. The service from Tipp (maybe wrong spelling) was perfectly attentive, fast, friendly and personable. This was our second time here and we will definitely be back and bring our friends. Kid-friendliness: The waiter was especially kind and helpful to the 6 and 4 year old kids

We had one red cury #26.1 and ordered two individual side rice which we shared between two people for dinner. It was fresh ingredients and delicious! Would order again.

Hidden Gem .a little bit of Siam in Wasaga! Great authentic Thai Cuisine with friendly and knowledgeable staff .Dined at their old Balsam st location in Collingwood years ago and relished the experience then as we did yesterday .

This place really sucks. The food was awful, with an overpowering sour taste, and I found hair in my dishes. the server also mistakenly brought me items from another table. I do not recommend this place at all. One star is too generous for this disappointing experience. Will never come back again!

Stopped here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of food and service. #30 with beef was delicious, as was the Pad Thai. Hope to visit again!

Thonburi Thai is my go to dinner recommendation for anyone visiting the blue mountain area. Beyond thrilled it is now in Wasaga and the location did not disappoint. Service and food were both incredible. Please try the Gang Panang!! Im so happy Thonburi replaced the previous restaurant. If the previous restaurant here was the only thai youve tried, please do not let it discourage you from ordering Thonburi. They will not let you down! Vegetarian options: Veg Gang Panang will rock your world <3

First time trying this place and I ll definitely be back. Had the Gang Ga Ree with tofu and it was delicious. The staff are lovely. Great to have authentic Thai food right here in Wasaga Beach.

Too be fair I have only had the pad Thai and I arrived about an hour before closing on a Sunday night. That said I would definitely return to try the rest of the menu. My server was very pleasant and the service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. Its a quaint little space with a good feel. The portion was sufficient but I could have easily eaten more and will definitely do so next time around. Very tasty and the kitchen was accommodating. Hard to find good fresh food in Wasaga but this spot has it. I totally recommend giving this place a go. Being from Toronto and used to having diversity this place is a refreshing option. Im definitely going back .

A few weeks ago, our family went to Thornbury Thai in Wasaga beach. The food was EXCELLENT and really exceeded our expectations. I suggest trying the kow soi (#32) and number 29 (don t remember the name) was the table favourite. We even bought an extra one to take home it was that good. The food was clearly fresh and so well seasoned. The price in total was affordable, not egregious like most places in the touristic area. I strongly recommend trying this new restaurant - it is a gem! Parking: Easy in and out, side street accessible as well if you are nervous driving onto a main road

Mind blowing 10/10 This food tastes like healthy candy from God. The flavour, dishes, price, people are so amazing you will probably order it again the next day for breakfast lunch and dinner, its just too good - I dont understand this wizardry but I believe in magic now. The red curry chicken 30b is my favorite and the spring rolls should be winning awards. So happy about the new location too!

The curries were very flavorful. The rice was well done. My favorite was the panang curry. Spring rolls were nice and crispy. They were generous enough to give us extra rice. The meat was quite dry unfortunately. Beef, chicken, some of the shrimp was over done. If they can fix that, this would be an amazing Thai stop around the Blue Mountain village. The curries are so good that it almost makes up for it though. Definitely worth a try.

Went to this restaurant with our three kids. 11, 13 and 15. Everyone was more than pleased with the food and the service. We have been on vacation for five days, eating out 2 to 3 times a day, everyone agrees that this was our best restaurant experience, even our picky 11year old. My husband and I love Thai food and both agree that this is the best we ve ever had. Our server Mo was very friendly and helpful. The food and the service was spectacular!!!

Service is top notched, very friendly. The food used to be very good and authentic few years back but this last visit just a bit disappointing. The chicken in the noodle is dry and plain - not marinated , noodle is tough. I think they could have done better.

I mean...what? It was the most delicious food I have had in a while. Mo, was the best hostess, server and everything else. Her energy was just amazing and so positive. Her little brother was amazing in making sure no one felt ignored. Food was like burst of flavors in your mouth. Not one thing was lacking. My new go to place when I am in blue mountain/ Collingwood. We were 13 of us and every single one of us were super happy after our meal. Thank you Mo , your brother and your mom for cooking such an amazing meal!

Came to Blue Mountain for a mini retreat and stumbled upon this gem - the Thonbury Pad Thai dish was delicious, tasty and their service was lightening fast. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back! Thank you for the incredible service!

My family and I are SO happy to find such a delicious and friendly restaurant while on vacation. The food is outstanding. Also the restaurant is very attentive to celiacs and those with allergies. 10/10. Dont miss this gem. The ambience is bright, sunny and inviting.

Best Thai food ever

The most accurate representation of the food that wowed me when I visited Thailand. A studied chef, and her daughter clearly understands customer service. This north Ontario town is lucky to have them cooking nearby. Kahpkunkahp. Dont miss it.

Have ordered takeout from Thornburi Thai at North Creek Resort the last two Friday nights and both nights exceeded expectations. I tried their in house special Pad Thai first and the tried the regular Pad Thai. I can t decide which I love more. Piping hot, fresh ingredients, large portions and amazing flavours, this will be a go-to in Blue Mountain. The service is also exceptionally welcoming and friendly which is much appreciated too! Next time I will remember to take a photo before we devour it!

Ordered four orders of chicken pad thai with extra shrimp. If it wasnt for the shrimp, there would have nothing else in the dish....absolutely terrible. No taste, just a clump of noodles with little else. $21 per dish plus tax, not worth $5. Save your money, go somewhere else.

We were up in Blue Mountain for the weekend celebrating my son s 20th birthday. He loves Asian cuisine and chose Thai for his birthday dinner. Thornburi was the first result with good reviews close by so decided to visit. We were extremely glad we did. Food was awesome. Everything that we ordered was delicious. We personally love sweetness in Thai food so it was perfect. My parents thought the food was a bit on the sweet side for their taste but still immensely enjoyed the flavours. Our server was this spunky young lady who was the sweetest, cutest thing and amazing at her job. I did not get her name but it seems like this is her family business. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable and was great at explaining the menu options. Spring rolls were delicious. If I were to give my opinion, I suggest to have 3 larger spring rolls instead of 6 smaller ones. That way the filling can be enjoyed more. We ordered : #29 Yellow Curry pictured #26 Green Curry pictured #9.1 Pad Thornburi pictured #6 Tom Yum #27 Red Curry (getting this next time!) We will definitely be back hopefully sooner rather than later next time we are up at Blue. All the best!

Simply put, the best Thai food in town. A must try is their papaya salad, spring rolls, pad Thai & my favourite #23-1. Plus everyone that works there is an absolute pleasure!

My favourite Thai place ever! This food is so flavourful. So many veggie options. Friendly accommodating staff. The food is incredible and filling.

Did take out last night and was very disappointed. Pad Thai noodles were all stuck together and the green curry chicken had about four pieces of chicken in it, was mostly bamboo shoots and very very watery sauce. We really wanted to like it as it is very close by, but unfortunately we won t be back.

The bill is deceptive. Gratitude was already added to the bill without it mentioned or written on the bill. On choice was given for the %. Very very tricky!!! -_- As for the food, beef and chicken are very very dry. Basically jerky in soupy. Favour is over the top some dishes are too salty. Portion is good.

The food is very flavorful. This is an amazing Thai stop around the Blue Mountain village. We have ordered take out many times but the last time, the portions were a bit small and only found 2 pieces of chicken in the Pad Thai. Not a huge issue as the food was tasty. We also have dined in on few occasions, the service is very good but I m not fan of the decor. Definitely worth a try.

While on a business trip we decided to come and eat here. The previous reviews didnt disappoint: the food was excellent, service was fast and price was reasonable. And it looks like we lucked out with live entertainment! The band was great and the visiting lady from Florida had a great voice. We might return for more good food... Thank you, guys!

Quiet possibly the best Thai food I have ever eaten! The spring rolls were yummy filled with veggies, the Thornburi Pad Thai was so yummy with a tangy sauce that was so tasty and the panang with beef was lick the plate good! Actually it was all lick your plate good!! The waiter was fantastic offering suggestions and lots of attention. It s only 1.5kms out of the village at blue mountain and completely delicious!! 100/10 for sure!

Its the best place to have a soup, especially if your craving for something deliciously good I would recommend their Tom yum soup. In a cold weather you will be able to finish the entire bowl yourself. Also, they do have the best Pad Thai its no like any other Pad Thai you ever tried. Plus they are very generous with the toppings. I will not be surprised if people will just have to drive all the way to Blue Mountain just to have Thai food experience.

Stayed at the North Creek resort recently and this was the restaurant on site. Read online that they offered halal chicken and decided we had to try it for my husbands bday dinner. Never expected it to be as good as it was. We ordered the Tom Yum soup, #25 with jasmine rice and the chicken pad thai...the food was some of the best Thai weve had. Loved the soup so much we ended up ordering it on our second night too. Definitely going to visit again next time were at Blue Mountain

AMAZING FOOD

We recently discovered this great restaurant: the prices are very reasonable; the ordering process quick and easy; the pick was on time and efficient; and the food was excellent. It was great value for money. We had the Pad Pak Sauce King and Gang Masaman. The ingredients were obviously fresh, the food was piping hot and the spicing was well balanced. If I had one minor comment, it would be that there was not much meat in the Masaman (chicken, in the case) but, according the their printed menu (not the online one), they offer the option to have extra meat for $4. This would be well worth it as the base dishes are not expensive. Well done and good luck with your business.

Fabulous! We have to drive an hour back to our hometown to get the Thai food that we have enjoyed for years. We recently bought a condo here and my sister recommended we try it. It was so delicious! We ordered the chicken yellow curry with Jasmine rice and the Thai pad Thai. So so good! We will be coming here often!

We got take away meals for the first time and we are hooked! The food was so delicious! Portions were generous and the meals came out piping hot. I highly recommend Thonburi Thai Food!

The food was delightfully seasoned. Nothing was too spicy, I highly recommend this restaurant for people sensitive to spice. Portions were fair but I thought the price was expensive, especially for one curry we ordered, it came in a small tub with no rice included and was $17! The chicken was also overcooked and dry, I get the impression that the meat options are mixed in with the dishes afterwards depending on what you pick (which is fine but it didnt have much flavour). Like another reviewer, I also dont feel that this restaurant is very authentic, but doesnt mean it didnt taste good! I imagine they do a good job understanding what the local community enjoys eating since they have many great reviews.

After a good swim in the lake, we were all hungry and were looking to eat good spicy food. We picked up this place reading the review. I ordered Thai Chicken fried rice, it was perfectly done and the quantity was right size. Will dine in once all is open.

Waitress did not communicate or reconfirmed the order after taking the full order. Make sure that you reassure the portion sizes and how does the dish look. At least search the dish name in Google Search not just deceived by the menu. They charge extras for Prawns $6 extra for almost six prawns. At the end waitress wanted to know, why we didn t tip them. Not a wholesome experience. Wouldn t recommend to anyone.

I ordered a vegan North American Style Pad-Thai with Tofu as takeout and it was delicious! Very flavourful. It had a nice, large portion size and the staff were very friendly. Ill be going back more often!

Hands down one of the best Thai places I have been to in a very long time. I would highly recommend making this a dinner stop if you are in town for only a few nights.

Wow the price point for the delicious flavourful foods was wonderful! No reservations .accommodating for larger groups .and for anyone who has gluten intolerances or celiac the food and beverages (ciders) are gluten free only disadvantage is the hours so bring your appetite and get out to eat early to enjoy!!!

The server suggested Green Curry & Pad Thai. It was one of the best Green curries we have had. The pad thai tasted good too. Friendly and fast service.

The worst Thai restaurant. The service was terrible and the lady even said, Never see you again. We made a huge order for 10 people and all the chicken dishes hardly had chicken in it. The taste is terrible too and we lived in Thailand for many years and have eaten Thai food all over the world. This was really the worst tasting Thai food. Definitely do not go. I think theyre having a shortage of proteins, because looks like they only put leftover odds and ends of veggies instead.

We stayed at North Creek Resort and discovered this Thai restaurant a minute walk from our condo. We ordered veggie rolls, pad-thai Thailand style, and Panang Curry. We were delightfully surprised how authentic and delish the food was! If we lived in this area, we would definitely order once a week ! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We highly recommend it!

After travelling to Thailand I never thought I would find authentic Thai food again. Look no further! The flavour profile, ingredients, and presentation is truly authentic and traditional. It took me back to Thailand. Mo and their staff were beyond accommodating so we could make it to our movie on time. Their customer service is impeccable. Friendly, punctual, and Mo is so funny and truly knows how to make her customers feel welcome and comfortable. They provide dine in or take out. They also have a private, smaller room to host 30 people for a private event if needed. Something I would consider in future.

Wasnt the very worst, but I wouldnt go back. If you want the honest scoop from someone who visits a lot of thai places all over, read on. Ordered thai style pad thai with veg/tofu, veg red pinapple curry, and chicken green curry tonight. The best thing was the curry sauce itself, and thats why the rating is 3 stars. The curry sauce was actially really delicious, but the ingredients thrown into it were all lack luster. The tofu was hard, there were very little veggies, and the pineapple was canned. The pad thai had no colour to it at all, and the flavour was bland. No veggies save for a couple rogue peppers, and the same hard tofu. The egg was one scrambled thing... very odd.

Good Tom Yum! A happy place for lunch. Will have to return to explore further...

Firstly, Im not sure why the bad reviews. If you are looking for a genuine authentic Thai culinary experience, this is your place. The food is so fresh, traditional and extremely well flavoured. This is definitely some of the best Thai food Ive ever had and will be ordering from them again. (ordered the green curry chicken with jasmine rice and traditional Pad Thai)

One of the best Thai food we had. We were on our way to Sunset Point Park (Collingwood) and came across this restaurant. We tried spring rolls, spicy Thai fried rice and noodles (All veg). Awesome spice level and taste. Do try it if you are passing by.

We were staying at the North Creek Resort area and craving Thai food so decided to order from here since reviews seemed great. Big disappointment! The pad Thai was ok but we also ordered a beef and a chicken stir fry with veggies which were like no stir fry Ive ever seen. The meat was scant and was floating with the veggies in a whole lot of veggie (mostly carrot) juices... not what Id expect in a stir fry. Would not recommend.

Spring rolls were just fine. Serena Matai isn t capable of being satisfied. She was so upset about the spring rolls she called the police about it. That s just weird.

How amazing to have this wonderful of a restaurant on the property where we re staying!? This food is incredible, ordered for two, told the lovely lady that we like spicy and aren t picky. She gave me fabulous recommendations and we ended up with chicken Tom yum soup, shrimp pad Thai and beef green curry. It. Did. Not. Disappoint! So much depth in flavour. If I were staying longer I would order every day. So delicious! They were only accepting cash at the time and she washed my change (2- $20 bills, a lovely gesture). I wish I got 2 orders of the green curry! We will be back!!

We ordered the chicken and beef pad Thai and it tasted ok considering its gluten-free (a healthier choice). It wasnt spicy at all and the option to choose werent given when placing the order. Prices were on the higher side for the portions but considering it is the only Thai restaurant near Blue Mountain Village where we stayed it was ok.
