My experience at Oh Bombay was fantastic. We decided to go there for dinner at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and ambiance of this restaurant and bar. The food was delicious. We tried the chicken tikka masala and paneer masala, both of which had an authentic Indian taste. We also enjoyed soft drinks, including Dragon Blood and a virgin mojito, which were available as a 1+1 offer during late hours. Overall, Oh Bombay is a great place to enjoy good food or watch sports at the bar (they got good 3 big screen in case you are into sports) or hang out with friends and family.for a special lunch or dinner.
I recently visited the newly opened Oh Bombay and had an outstanding experience! I ordered the chicken platter and momos, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The chicken platter was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, cooked to perfection. The momos were equally impressive, with a delightful filling and a fantastic dipping sauce that complemented them perfectly. The staff at Oh Bombay provided exceptional service. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The vibe of the place is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Overall, I highly recommend Oh Bombay. A new Indian restaurant, recently opened. The menu does not indicate items that gluten and dairy free, but our server was able to let us know which items we had chosen that didn’t suit our needs, and help us pick alternatives. For me, it’s more preferable if I can know before I order which dishes are within our eating range. The server was helpful, but when we received the dish she had suggested because it had no gluten, we saw that - ironically - it contained paneer, so we had to send it back. The server was nice and quickly replaced the dish with a version we could eat, but again, it makes it challenging to eat out when you have to trust others know the ingredients in a dish and to keep track of your food intolerances. The restaurant was a bit busy, and we were initially seated at a small table, but the owner insisted on relocating us to a larger table when one became available, so we could have more space. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the owner came by a few times to check on us. The food was tasty and fresh. A bit too hot for me, but my DH loved it. I don’t know if we would go again, for the simple reason that there seemed to be few dishes that were both gluten free and dairy free. But if you have no food restrictions and like it spicy, it’s a nice little restaurant to check out.
We decided to try this newly opened restaurant for dinner on a Saturday. We used their app to order takeout and got a $5 one time registration discount but you do get 10% loyalty reward for all other additional orders placed through the app. The menu is vast! There are plenty of options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Free parking is located within a plaza area. The restaurant was clean inside and was surprisingly quite small; it only seats approximately 15 people. It was nicely decorated and modern. The samosas were absolutely delicious and very meaty inside. It was nice to see that the pastry was thin, crispy and not oily. It's important to note If ordering samosas via the app, that they come in a pair, which was not indicated in the description but does show in a picture. The Pakoras were absolutely delicious, well seasoned and not oily. They have a good heat spice but not over powering. The Paneer Tikka Butter Masala is absolutely outstanding! Rich and flavourful. If you love lentils and kidney beans then the Dal Makhni is for you. The flavours are outstanding! We ordered steamed rice and jeera rice and both were cooked really well. The Oh Bombay naan is delicious, if you like spice as it has a great kick. All entrees come with a default of medium heat but you're able to choose hot or mild. The app itself is very user friendly; you receive notification of when your order is ready and after you've picked up it will tell you the order is complete. You are also able to review the order history in the app. So the ultimate question is, would we return? An unresounding absolutely yes!!
This is the best Indian restaurant in Waterloo. Visited the restaurant over the weekend. The owner was friendly to introduce herself, suggest some dishes and give us time to decide. We loved the food. My fiance loved the Pani puri, chaat and Noodles with Manchurian. My favorite was butter chicken, it was creamy and not too sweet. Tasted amazing with garlic naan. Will definitely visit again with family

Machurian was amazing. Curries were good too, perfectly balanced. We ordered garlic naan and it looked kind of weird but taste was good.
We have been walking past this restaurant since it opened but hadnt been in until tonight. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly. Our group ordered several different appetizers, mains and desserts and everything was great. Cant wait to come back to try other menu items also. We had the opportunity to chat with the owners also, and loved their vision for the restaurant being a friendly place for the neighborhood and all communities.
Too mUch Rush. Service ie terrible. Was sitting there for 5mins and they didnt even give the menu. The place is pretty cramped up too. If you looking for good service, then this place is not recommended at all.

Excellent food - the dhai poori and tandoori momos are a must try! Some of the best Indian food Ive ever had. Great service too only criticism was the cleanliness of the bathrooms but we didnt go there for those.
We ordered 4 biryani it was prepared and packed in proper time but tasted was awful. It looked good but not very tasty. Felt like they reused the oil or it felt like it was stale and a day older.
We ordered food for 15 people yesterday (Dal Makhni, Paneer Makhni, Jeera Rice, Rotis, Raita and Gulab Jamun) and the food was sumptously incredible..!! Freshly prepared, nicely packed and with right blend of authentic Indian flavours and spices.. They simply exceeded our expectations
We are always looking for great Indian food in the area - and this was great. We had the chicken tikka masala - it was EXCELLENT. We also had to Aloo Gobhi - also good. We will definitely go back!! Our new Indian go to - and looking forward to trying more dishes!
My son had been craving Indian food so today I ordered him Uber Eats for the first time at university. He was so excited and couldn t wait to eat. He said the naan was good but the rice was very dry and stale and the butter chicken was awful. I was surprised as he is not the least bit picky. I wish I had done my research and found a restaurant with better quality food. We live in British Columbia and are used to fantastic Indian restaurants. He is studying in Ontario and I was just trying to help him have a taste of home.

Ive ordered hakka noodle with chicken. Take out. When I got home. It was veggie noodle. It took a while for them to complete the cooking my order. Not sure its a gender think. But two male ordered after me and was served before me.
Going to be recommending this place to everyone not only for the great food but the amazing service. First off - the food is the best Indian food in town hands down. Everything fresh, perfect flavour and tenderness it really shocked me as Indian food is normally really good and flavourful but this is something else. Came with my girlfriend to the location to order for take out and the food came in a timely manner yet one of the owners Jay still came out apologizing for the delay even though there was none. Him and the staff working the counter asked if we wanted any drinks while we waited and made sure we were comfortable. Inside looks beautiful but the kindness of the owner Jay was what really made us want to give our business and money to this place again - and of course, the unreal food massive portions in a time where every place is increasing prices and decreasing portion sizes this place is above value. Thanks Jay.

If you genuinely want to order hakka chinese then this is not the place. Worst chinese food I could have ever ordered. Althought the service is really good. I order chilli garlic noodles and chilli chicken and in no world the hakka food looks and even tastes like this.
Amazing service, food taste wells, we were well served by Khushi. We tried the Cholle Bhature, Butter chicken and Tandoori roti.

Honest Review : Not good experience. We ordered spicy chicken tikka and paneer tikka masala but it was really sweet and gravy was not well cooked. I would never visit this restaurant.
Get over here and try. I had never ever, eaten something so perfectly made Indian food for a while. You need to try their rice lamb one and try butter chicken and Gaelic Nann. Also mango pudding dessert. Not sweet it s perfect.

Today I attended the grand opening where I tried chicken tikka, paneer tikka and crispy corn as a starter. All the starters are very delicious but crispy corn made my day. Best service provided by the staff with respect and gratitude. 10/10 to the ambience food and service. I will take a visit with my family next time.

Originally planning to pick up takeout from the last establishment. Was pleasantly surprised by the new decor. While waiting for my food the staff was delightful and engaging. The food is excellent. It is freshly made and full of favour. We will be back and this time we will eat in the restaurant. Thank you! This is now one of my favourite places to eat!

I popped into this new restaurant for a quick snack. The waiter was most helpful in describing different Indian foods on the menu. I enjoy a spicy soup and love samosas. They also offered $5.00 Martinis today! This restaurant has only been open a few months and I highly recommend it. I cant wait to return and try other dishes. Prices are very reasonable, there is ample parking at this plaza including wheelchair accessible spots. Excellent customer service. Many were coming in to pick up take-out orders! I chose to dine-in and the service is excellent.
Best nepali momo chutney in Waterloo! Momo was good, a little soft and stretchy though. Everything else was just likeable about the place.

They have great options for all ages and they also ensure that you get exactly what you want. . I would recommend them to all my friends and Yes I have tried food at oh Bombay Burlington too but I feel this Waterloo one is a notch better!

We came in tonight dine at oh Bombay and it was absolutely delicious! I had travelled to Canada to visit my parents in Waterloo and they were raving about Oh Bombay s food! In my short trip they made it a point to take me there to have dinner and I m glad they did! We ordered vegetarian tandoori momos, gobi Manchurian, garlic naan, paneer tikka and butter chicken. Everything was finger licking good! Best naan I ve ever had! The owner jay and our server ayush were also very nice and engaged in conversation making our meal memorable. So excited to come eat here every time I visit Waterloo! 10/10

I have tried this place couple of times. My favorite till now is Paneer chilly...its just out of the world...love the smoky flavor. Love your crispy corn starter too. Please maintain the quality as there are many Indian restaurants here, but difficult to get good ones like yours. I feel you guys can do better in your tikka items. They are good, but I have tried better in GTA / KWC area. Otherwise, your other items that I tried are just awesome.

I had Chole bhature, Paneer lababdar and naans. Everything was fresh and tasty especially bhatura. Naan was bit too crunchy (however, I asked them to make well cooked). Paneer lababdar was mild but not having typical spice level that is usually found and was rather having a sweeter taste. Overall it was a nice experience though. Top quality Indian restaurant in KW for sure!
Tried it first time on this location. Smita personally taking care of Guests and her staff was amazing too. Food was super delicious and service was top notch. We have ordered Crispy corn, honey chilli cauliflower, super spicy and delicious Man-chow soup and many more everything was just amazing. Strongly recommend this place. We will be back soon.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this newly opened Indian restaurant conveniently located near my workplace. The ambiance was striking with matte black interiors adorned with golden chandeliers and Indian-style wall designs. I ordered the Chilly Garlic Noodles for takeout, which were expertly prepared with perfectly balanced flavors. The owner couple was exceptionally warm and hospitable, engaging me in delightful conversation. The seating area was well-organized, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. What truly stood out was the owners dedication they even visited my workplace to inquire about my feedback on the noodles. A promising addition to the local culinary scene indeed.

My spouse and I had a happy surprise on our first visit to Waterloos Oh Bombay restaurant earlier this evening. Unlike some other local venues for Indian food, our excellent meal was obviously freshly prepared, made with quality ingredients, skilfully spiced and had generous portions. The wait staff (and our amiable hosts) were knowledgeable and attentive, and our meal arrived after a fairly short wait. The menu is extensive and varied, with many new and interesting offerings beyond the usual, with an impressive number of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. Highly recommended! :-)
Amazing food and great service!
Very nice food, tried 3 different dishes all very good. Plenty in each portion so maybe look at reducing portion size and lower prices. $100 for 3 meals was a bit pricey.
Ordered daal Makhni , garlic naan , shahi paneer and Indian style tea. Excellent taste. Would recommend everyone to try if you are in Waterloo area.
