online, it says they close at 8:30 PM. on their door, it says they close at 9:00 PM. we came at 7:50 PM. we weren t seated because they said sorry guys we re closed .

The pasta here is to die for! I have tried a few now but I think the pollo calabrese is my personal favourite!

Ordered the Florentin. Tasteless, barely anything in the plate compared to other orders going out. Told the waitress what I thought. Still charging 25 bucks. Ate 3 -4 bites. Dont recommend stopping in.. Disgusted.

Lovely restaurant with generous portions. The carbonara was delicious.

We enjoyed the patio and shared the berry/pecan salad that was so refreshing. My partner had the Aglio E Olio she enjoyed, I had the Florentine that was great. Also the portions are also surprising. Had some refreshing cocktails also, Aperol spritzer and the Red sangria both so refreshing on a hot day relaxing on the patio.

Was my second time there and only one waitress serving inside and outside. Took a really long time to get our food. Beef ragu was a little too tomato pastey for my liking and almost asked where s the beef . Others enjoyed their pizza and pasta dishes. I will go back and try some other pasta or pizza.

Went here about a week ago with my girlfriend and it was our first time here The food was amazing and the service was great as well, It was smaller inside than expected but that was no issue 10/10

Have been to Levetto on several occasions. Had this been our first visit, we would NEVER go back. Service at McDonalds would be better. Took over 1/2 hour to receuve our food. The table next to us was served their food 2 minutes after although they arrived 15 minutes after us. Food was excellent but didnt make up for the bad service. Very good pizza! I ordered a lrg 8 slice Soppressata pizza and it was really tasty! The crust was light and crispy the sauce was quite delicious with a hint of honey! It was a bit smaller than I expected for a large but overall it was very good! Romano pizza wasnt for me, but was good pizza of that variety. Giving 5 stars for the value - got a great salad and a small pizza for $15 for lunch and it was a great value.

I have ordered from here in the past and tend to always be missing something from my order, today was no exception. I ordered through Uber eats and half the order was missing, it took an hour longer than usual for the restaurant to complete the order, and the food that did arrive was solid and cold (I ordered pasta and it lifted in one solid block). We called the restaurant to confirm if the whole order was actually made and was picked up just in case before calling Uber and they said idk call Uber that s what we were doing. But do they not realize once an Uber order is complete (delivered) it s nearly impossible to contact the driver and you never get a full refund on items oh well I guess but still verrrrry unimpressed with the food and service. I suggest double checking everything before doing a hand off

Very tasty; remained hot the entire meal; and portions were quite large. The seating is small--about ten tables seating four each and bar stools. The decor has a fast food vibe. Not a good for a romantic/intimate dinner. Dress is casual. A popular spot despite somewhat remote location. Reasonably priced This was our 2nd visit. Will return for many more meals....oh, and the panna cotta was heavenly.

Weve been eating here over the years and love the pasta. We ordered pickup for valentines day...the pasta and dessert really good. The Caesar salad was mostly brown which I hate and dont expect for close to $20. I was really disappointed this time around.

Some of the best Italian food in Waterloo

My parents and I went for dinner at this resto this evening. The pizza and pasta dishes were amazing - great portions, great prices, and seemingly 100% made in house! The open kitchen was a nice touch as well as a bar seating option with lots of outlets. This would be a great place to grab a bite while studying or working on your laptop/tablet. Despite all 6 or so tables being full, our server Chloe was great at managing all the patrons and she was warm, personable and conversational. 15/10 will be eating at this place again. Maybe tomorrow

Had an absolutely wonderful date night experience at this hidden gem. The berry and goat cheese salad was so fresh and the pasta was outstanding. It was very apparent that it was handmade. We also got a pizza that blew my mind usually I m not a fan of a thicker crusts but the dough was fantastic. If there were a few cocktails on the menu it would have gotten 5 stars for sure :)

Whether I visit and sit in, or order from home, the food is always amazing. Definitely one of my favourite little restaurants in Waterloo!

We just had a wonderful little double date here tonight. The salads were incredible. The margherita pizza was delicious too, and so big I m looking forward to leftovers tomorrow! I didn t have the pasta but my hubbs did and it looked really good too. But the best part of our evening was our server Khloe. So genuinely sweet, kind, attentive (but not over bearing), and helpful. We ll be back soon!!

Fantastic food and staff are super friendly! The pizza and pasta are to die for - try the soppresssata pizza, it has a little heat with the sweet of the honey and creamy goat cheese... unreal! Also great for sharing on a date night - salad, pasta, pizza is plenty of food for two with some left overs

Vegetarian options: To say the least, the blandest food I ve tasted ever. Barely any effort was put into actually making the pasta sauce taste like ANYTHING. The ambiance and service is good but it doesn t make up for the food

The dishes have a good presentation and they initially taste good, but as the temperature fades the taste also fades and texture changes to greasy. The price is incompatible with this level of quality. Cheap wine means bad wine. Expensive wine means ok wine.

Great outdoor patio for lunch. Took my kids and they loved both pizza and pasta. Quick and very friendly service. Well priced. We ll be back for sure!

Salad and bread ..great! Pasta dishes luke warm and bland to be honest. Usually such a great experience, but tonight it was not up to par sadly.

Overall really bad. Poor atmosphere. But mostly just really no tasty food. We ordered carbonara, pizza, and bread, none of which were good at all. Pasta was over cooked and mushy, portions for pasta was far too big. Bill was also 65$

Such a weird experience last night. We made a reservation. Our waitress sent out the wrong order for everyone in my party. The cook actually sent my pizza out without cheese on it. After a rather frustrating dinner the waitress gives me a pile of bills to sort and give out. Not the service I was expecting at all. Because I ordered my pizza well done, after they put it back in the oven the second time to melt the cheese that wasn t on it, it was hard to eat.

Awesome. The Pizza was just awesome! Pasta too was super authentic . Im definitely coming back again. And again... cz theres still so much left to try on this menu and Im sure they are all great. Food : 5/5

We sat down for about 30 minutes. No one ever came over to our table to let us know what was going on. Waitress was bypassing our table and yet, we have not ordered anything. Had to walk out of the restaurant and choose other options. Might require deep patience to eat here.

So good! We ordered their July special and it didn t disappoint! The Caesar salad was fresh, the best carbonara pasta with lots of bacon and the pizza was delicious. Delivery guy was friendly even the dog loves him. Arrived hot, perfect meal for a rainy night!

It was the perfect spot for a quick weekday lunch; it was not expensive, (12.99) and the pizza and salad were delicious. The service was friendly and quick to serve the clientele of children, teenagers, men, and women of all ages. Were definitely adding it to our dining- out repertoire.

What an amazing lunch. A great selection of food to enjoy. Portions were plentiful and very tasty. 100% homemade pasta and sauce left us very satisfied with our choice! The staff was friendly and took very good care of us. Atmosphere was casual, but trendy and quaint. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer to sit out on their patio! I highly recommend Levetto Waterloo if you are in the area, we will definitely be back. I had the Avanti Della Carne pizza and it was fantastic. Thank you!

Excellent pizza and great service

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered a margherita pizza yesterday and did not think to open and check it until I arrived home. When I did, I realized there was no fresh basil, just cheese. I called them to let them know of this error thinking they would make up for it somehow or at least apologize. However when I called the lady on the phone told me they ran out of basil and that is how they were making their pizzas now. You would think this is something you would tell your customers before they pay almost $20 for a mediocre cheese pizza. If you run an establishment that prides itself on Italian food perhaps you should know the basics of a margherita pizza and let your customers know that one of the main ingredients are not available. Please spend your money somewhere else! Lots of places in Waterloo that know how to make a simple pizza much better and can provide way better customer service.

Berry and candied pecan salad was fabulous. Pasta alla vodka too spicy plus charged $5 on top to substitute chicken for the sausage. Pizza tasted like store bought frozen pizza. Pasta Alfredo just OK. Overall not too impressed.

Wow! Impressed the pickiest eater. Cannot say enough. This place was fantastic. Order a pizza as appetizer then get the pasta, you wont regret it Came back for a second time, our waitress Chloe was fantastic.

We went on a weekend evening and it was pretty packed in there. We think there was an event happening nearby but we got a seat right away in the back. When we got seated, we got the menus and were served our drinks soon after. We ordered the Alla Vodka pasta and Soppressata pizza. The wait time wasn t too long, around 18-20 minutes considering it was busy. The alla vodka is something we got before, the rosé sauce pairs well with the Italian sausage. Last time our waiter grated some pepper and cheese for us but it didn t happen this time. We had the pepper on our table though so we did it ourselves. The pizza had a crunchy crust, it was personally a little too thick for us. The description said that there was supposed to be honey drizzle on the pizza, but we didn t notice any or taste it. We tried the Toscana pizza last time and we actually preferred that one more. Our waiter was kind, she checked in on us and refilled one of the waters. I had warm water, I wish she offered to get us another one. Overall, the Waterloo Levetto location is a good spot for a quick bite, big portion size and friendly staff but nothing too mind blowing.

I love Levetto! The arugula salad might be slightly plain with only a few ingredients but its light and super tasty! The pastas are awesome and pizzas are tasty! Would definitely recommend!

Great spot for takeout or delivery, amazing pastas with large portions. They have a $5 delivery option (one of the family) that avoids the ridiculous skip or Uber fees, much better for the restaurant. Try it!!!

Had to do take away but we had excellent pizza and pasta. Would definitely order from here again. My son loved the pepperoni on their pizza.

Second time here and hopefully not the last! We ordered three different pizzas and they were all delicious. Our waitress, Chloe, did a fantastic job while being very friendly and genuine.

Everything I ve ever had from here is delicious. I ve been here several times. They have the best authentic pasta I ve tasted, and portion sizes are generous.

The food was fantastic. Service was great. Tonya & Chloe are lovely. We came 3 times over 5 days and remembered my son needed to be back in the RIM centre by a certain time. Tried a different pasta each time and you cannot go wrong with any of them. Patio does have a lot of wasps right now which makes it a bit unpleasant. But I think it s just the time of year, and there are traps. Can t do much else about it.

Shared a superb salad and enjoyed a marvelous set of pasta dishes. The made from scratch noodles and the pasta dishes - well they were so good! Parking: Parking right in front of the door!

Amazing food!

I had high hopes. Service was great! Food was tasty, but not what I expected. My pasta - Pollo Calabrese - was harder than al dente & was not spicy as promised. My friend had the Amatriciana and it was much better - perfect al dente! Wine selection was limited. Atmosphere was not great.

Excellent casual Italian food at a reasonable price. I had the pasta carbonara. The pasta was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of chew. The bacon was bold an smokey and added great flavour to the dish. The portion size was perfect for a lunch and $17 for something of that quality was money well spent. I decided to splurge and get the panna cota for dessert. It was just a bit on the firm side but the berries and candied walnuts with the vanilla custard was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and the patio is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon. I am looking forward to returning and trying the pizza.

Great place for square-cut pizzas and pastas!

As soon as my friend & I walked in the door we regretted our choice. The server was very rude - making it seem as though us being there ruined her day. We were seated on the patio, & the sun was glaring in my eyes, so I moved the umbrella. The server made a big deal of this. My friend & I just felt uncomfortable being there - it was just awkward. The pasta was undercooked, and the chicken was overcooked. My friends meal had no flavor. This was the first time in over 10 years that I tipped under 20% (I gave 10%) - even then I regretted leaving any tip at all.

The Carboanara was absolutely disgusting. It was pretty much pasta with egg and bacon. Tasteless. Pasta was undercooked. I dont remember last time Ive eaten such a horrible meal. The waitress couldnt care less about providing a good service. Seemed to be frustrated with everything. If I could I wouldnt even give one star.

My husband and I always enjoy a meal at Levetto. The food is hot, delicious and exactly what we ordered. The waitstaff is top notch too! Tanya and Chloe are amazing and consistently provide us with a positive experience. Without fail, we are greeted with a smile and every time have a wonderful encounter! Cant wait to go back again and again!

Always a warm and inviting experience at Levetto Waterloo and we love their scenic patio. I enjoyed the Summer Salad and my partner got his favourite, the Alla Vodka pasta, both were fresh, tasty and full of flavour. Karen the owner is always so nice, she truly cares about her customers and her staff are always very friendly and welcoming. One of our favourite spots to go to on date night.

Food was quite good. Service was bad. Our hostess messed up real bad. She interchanged the dishes and gave a bacon filled dish to a vegetarian. Thats understandable when they are in a hurry, but what was not acceptable was she not apologizing and trying to fix it by providing free dishes. An acceptance and simple apology was what was needed, not compensation! Would visit again for the great food!
