I had an amazing experience at BBQ Village! The Yukgaejang and Sundubu Jjigae were both incredibly delicious, with rich flavors and just the right level of spice. Although there was a mix-up with my order ( Gejang instead of Yukgaejang), the staff quickly fixed it by preparing the Yukgaejang for me and even let me enjoy the Gejang on the house. The Seasoned Gejang was also great. They later came by again to apologize, which really touched me. I also tried the calamari, and it was perfectly crispy and flavorful. For dessert, I had an Americano, which had a wonderful aroma—clearly made with quality beans. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the excellent service!

"I recently tried gamja tang, and it was an incredible experience! The broth was rich and hearty, with deep flavors that warmed me right up. The pork was tender and perfectly absorbing the spices and seasoning in the broth. The potatoes were soft, making each bite satisfying and comforting. David, our server, made the experience even more memorable. He was attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the dish and recommending the perfect side dishes to accompany it. His friendly demeanor and excellent service made our meal so enjoyable. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Korean flavors with top-notch service!"
The food and service is really good. They are so nice and caring and they gave a lot complimentary food. They served free ice cream after our meal which was really good. I love eating here and it is my new favourite spot!
Went here for dinner on a busy Friday and it was excellent! The chicken was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside! We waited about 20 mins for our food and received 2 baskets of complimentary fries and some complimentary ice cream! Staff were friendly and helpful. I will say if your expecting a more chill place they do have decenty loud music. The atmosphere is definitely energetic and fun! We will be going back for another visit:) Thanks for the great experience!
I recently ordered takeout from BBQ Chicken Waterloo Central, and the experience was amazing! Mandy, the server, was fantastic—she went out of her way to check on me while I was waiting, making sure everything was on track and that I was comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, crispy, and packed with flavor. Even though it was takeout, the atmosphere in the restaurant was great, with nice music that made the wait enjoyable. Highly recommend this place, and big thanks to Mandy for the excellent service!
Everything we tried was so tasty and this is really the best Korean fried chicken I ever had. They also have drinks and desserts all in a really nice interior. Highly recommend for the food and great service!
Had a fantastic experience with amazing service! The interior was beautifully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and the fried chicken was delicious with a wide variety of flavorful options. The coolest chicken place! We have finally found our go-to resto for honest-to-goodness chicken. All items on the menu are a must-try. The servers are very pleasant and attentive, the atmosphere warm and relaxing.We feel welcome and at home here! Wheelchair accessibility: There are enough spaces between the tables to accommodate wheelchairs.
The food was very yum, and the waiting time wasnt too long either. The atmosphere was very cozy with a well furnished interior, the kpop playing in the resturant is such a vibe as well! Employees were very friendly and patient. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Honestly, I have mixed feelings with the food, the complimentary (from making a review) calamari is incredible salty and quite chewy. I dont know why they would concentrate so much powder on the top part of the calamari and not mix it well. However, if you take the ones that didnt get too much powder, its okay... Just a chewy calamari, overall 5/10. Chicken is pretty good. The meat is surprisingly really tender juicy, unlike other fried chicken places that tends to overcook them. I would say bbq Chicken probably have the best meat. The sauce and skin is decent. I love the padak! The soy garlic was initially awful, but it tastes kinda good after taking a few bites . The garlic is really strong, which I can see some people not liking it. Definitely 10/10 for the padak, and a 7/10 for the soy garlic. Price is okay, pretty average for korean fried chicken places. They also give coffee or tea as a complimentary, which was quite odd, but tasted average. Its a complimentary, so its not that relevant. Service is average. Place is nice. Worth a try, for sure the best padak fried chicken in Waterloo.

First time I ordered from here was for delivery. The secret sauce chicken was almost akin chicken found in Korea. Proportions are also adequate considering the high prices. Today, I dined in with my dad. The restaurant had a western christmas vibe, which was comforting but it could include Korean designs. Service was responsive but a bit slow on food delivery. Rosé tteokbukki kinda tasted like pizza.

I recently ordered a mix box through Uber Eats, and I was very disappointed with the amount of green onion in the chicken. There was barely a pinch of it, which was unacceptable. As a Korean this simply feels like a deceptive practice and would never order Padak again. I ordered it through Uber Eats and ate it, but I was so dumbfounded that I laughed when I saw the amount of green onions included in the green onion chicken. I checked the contents two and three times just to be sure, but the results did not change. Was my expectation of the amount of green onions included in green onion chicken too high??? The chicken itself tasted okay, but I just couldnt eat it.

It was great to eat out with my baby because there was Korean food!! Every time I go out to eat with my baby, I have a lot of trouble deciding where to go haha. And they are friendly and the food is all delicious :) Kid-friendliness: I think it would be nice to have a plastic cup for the baby.
Kimchi fries were good. The original chicken flavor had a weird aftertaste, almost like an artificial or reused oil flavor. The (secret sauce) chicken sauce masks that weird flavor a little bit.
The marinated crab was delicious! The servers were polite, and very helpful in picking our dinner
