tried twice and both times were vry meh, least fave local shawarma spot in KW. just kinda bland, fam agrees. ordered both times from here and they just don t HIT like the others we ve tried. box of plain lettuce and tomatoes with no dressing option but hot sauce and garlic, rice/fries/shawarma eveeything not rly good. will not try again. I do recommend double taste shawarma (bridge st location)

Ive been all over Canada. Tried shawarma in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Vancouver and Edmonton. MOZYS IS THE BEST. I usually get one regular and one full flavor shawarma with everything on it because like children I love them both equally. Vegetarian options: Falafel is fire Dietary restrictions: They can do vegan. Kid-friendliness: Good. Wheelchair accessibility: Not really.

Guess this is another location now gone down the drain. I order a $20 shawarma plate to get specks of chicken and loads of fatty sauce. Am I paying for the salad? Disgusting. Dont bother going here. I wont be back anymore. Waste of your hard earned money.

Pinderpreet working in this location dont have a sense of customer service. They were serving old shawarma and when i told her to get me fresh shawarma she has horrible expression as if i hv asked her something new. And then i saw her and one other guy serving the same old shawarma to someone for pickup order.

DYNAMITE. I have yet to ever have a bad experience here, the employees make solid portions, do their work quickly, and best of all, food always tastes dynamite. Literally will not go anywhere else Parking: Can be a LITTLE hard to snag a spot during busy hours, given its near universities, but to be expected, and never NOT found a spot

Once again, delicious shawarma. I know that taste is subjective, but I havent found better tasting shawarma in K-W. And the portions are HUGE! Cannot eat the bowl in one sitting, true value for the money. I will go back for seconds, thirds, fourths... Highly recommend.

This is my FAVOURITE shawarma place in KW. I ve been going here since pre-Covid, back in my high school years. It has been reliable and delicious every time I ve visited. The mean is juicy and tender, the garlic sauce is the BEST, (nothing like Lazeez or Osmows, MUCH better) and the fries are always crispy and hot. Unless I m out of town, this is my shawarma place. I recommend it to any and everyone who is considering dropping in!

We went to eat shawarma today in evening the rice seemed to be not cooked properly and sauces were also not upto mark didnt enjoy the food at all. It looked like rice was from deep fridge or from past night definitely not cooked today . Food

the full flavour shawarma here is the best shawarma I have possibly ever had in Canada. I would have this wrap often when I lived in Waterloo and since moving to Toronto I have not found anything to match the quality (not to mention at all great price).

My go-to shawarma place here in Waterloo. Ive been going to this place for 5+ years, and the quality still holds up. While the wrap is fantastic, I personally prefer getting the chicken shawarma plate for a really satisfying full meal. Food

I had the large half and half, and they barely gave me any chicken. One lousy scoop which didnt even cover half the box. I think its safe to say I will never be returning to this place again

It doesnt get any better than this in KW for shawarma. The chicken is always top notch and portions are huge. Oil dipped fire grilled pita always included in the platter, nice touch. Most importantly the flavors on the chicken shawarma platter are on point. The chicken shawarma poutine is mind blowing. Try it!

The food here is always better than any other Mozy location. The Kitchener Fairview one is really not worth rating and the one on Hespeler in Cambridge, never hits the spot. I have been a patron here for a long time. Today, Rafay, the young man who works here, hit it out of the park. Not only did he remember my name, but also knew how I liked my order. That is amazing customer service. This needs to be recognized by the brand and the owner.

I always get the shawarma box and never lets down. Super filling and generally they re pretty generous with the portion sizing. Sadly pricing is getting a little up there but that generally is the case for most restaurants now.

Positives: - The food was delicious. - The servers wore gloves and used them appropriately, i.e. They removed the gloves when processing payments. Negatives: - A plate meal was served in a pile as if it was meant for dogs! - The washroom was disgusting! The floor and base boards didnt seem to have been cleaned for weeks. They should be cleaned every day.

I haven t visited the restaurant. I usually order Mozy s on UberEats and it s really good. The shawarma is really so good. You have to try their shawarma with extra garlic sauce and extra hot sauce with French fries and pickles included. Nothing like it :)

Meh, not worth it, overpriced for costco deep fried fries, dried chicken thats over sauced only with garlic and hot sauce.... Service is standard, could be better, and it could be worse. The atmosphere was sub-par, no music, and a small dine-in area with rough parking selection, too.

I usually prefer shawarma plates so this is the only place where I would get a shawarma wrap cuz of the flavorful fries and garlic sauce. Big portioned and cheap. Very satisfying and true to nature.

The staff were amazing! Never seen anything like that before. My boys Akshay, ketan and Harsh were so great. Love this place for sure coming back.

Food was fine. Terrible service. It was an empty store at the time not even close to closing at 11pm (2am is closing hours) and got dirty looks and eye rolls. When we left we said thank you and EVEN APOLOGIZED for the hassle and got stared down on the way out. For context we ordered 3 poutines and added shawarma after the order which wasnt a big deal especially with an empty store and I payed for the difference the person making it gave the biggest eye roll and swung his arms around like a child as if we asked him to remake the entire order(I work in food service and stuff like this happens a lot) again not a big deal to be giving evil eyes and huffing and puffing and blowing houses down just that one employee with glasses I believe. Everyone else was nice.

Prices are a bit high.

Was solid, a mid-tier shawarma for the city. Chicken was average, their batch of turnip was particularly salty but nothing I d hold against the store. Worth a stop if you re on the East side of the city

The food tasted good. I was disappointed to see a cashier wearing gloves go straight to touching our bread. And I am not sure if burning bread on the back wall of metal coils is healthy especially while uncooked chicken meat is turning. Not to mention it ruined the flavour of the bread, it tasted awful. More hygienic practices needed.

The best shawarma poutine! Ive tried other places and doesnt compare. They also work well under pressure. Its amazing to watch how fast they work (and how well they handle rude abusive customers too).

Without a shadow of a doubt this is the best shawarma to be had in the K/W region. Slightly pricey but worth every dollar. I often eat a single plate for two meals because it is so hefty. Great service as well

Used to be amazing but now they chince you for every nickel and but I ve gone multiple times now and they give less, when I ask for even just a bit more rice they charge me $2 for less than a scoop of rice Don t cover the box in chicken anymore literally a line over the middle

This is a great place to get food with friends, get the bang for your buck here, I just wish the shawarma poutine came in small, medium is a bit too much for me

Been twice to this place already this month. Their falafel wrap is fresh, even the falafels are molded and fried right in front of your eyes. The chicken Shawarma plate has amazing quantity for the price. Staff is friendly and never overwhelmed by the rush

Ordered chicken shawarma plate and falafel plate online. The food is very good and bigger portions compared to other places. You can get rice & fries with it, and even pita. So basically, you can make a whole wrap and still have enough for the plate. Definitely recommend Vegetarian options: Falafel plate and wraps

My absolute favourite place for a falafel shawarma!! I ve been going here for years and haven t had one as good anywhere else. I personally ask for the hot sauce, tahini, and garlic sauce. Amazingly delicious!!

Amazing food! This is my familys go-to takeout location. Hands down my favorite Shawarma place in Waterloo. Their Shawarma poutine is delicious and they load up the container. Has some little tables in the back for eating in but I mostly do takeout when buying from here.

Prices have gone up significantly so I dont eat here as often as I used to, but the quality is still excellent.

Ive had to adjust my review. We used to be regulars but now everytime we seem to go the prices have gone up & the sizes have gotten quite a bit smaller. Its quite expensive now for what you get unfortunately.

The swarmas are very tasty! They have some kind of special sauce and also prep their bread in a different way. Try the full flavor swarmas: wont regret it!

Giving its a university area, very busy and probably hectic for the employees (dunno), but I still have to say is very expensive for just a wrap that didnt even feel like was eating food. And ya the staff need to be replaced with grown ups and trained ones.

I absolutely love shawarma and Waterloo has a ton of competition. Mozys is my favourite shawarma place in the city, and had been consistently delicious for a decade. I get the Full Flavour wrap and add lettuce and tomatoes.

Used to love mozys, portions were awesome and a good ratio of rice to chicken, now every meal the chicken only covers 3/4 of the rice very thinly, quite sad as a plate is 20$ each now. For mostly rice :/

The food was OK. If you wanna compete with Osmos and Lazeez you need to put out a better product. Especially with that price. I got chicken on fries. Fries were ok, had a weird taste, using the Costco ones probably would be better. Meat was ok, nothing too good, definitely not high quality. Garlic sauce wasn t good and they didn t put nearly enough. Overall meal was disappointing, I expected more with 4.3 stars but didn t come to pass. Low quality food that left me feeling queasy for about a day afterwards at a medium quality price. Will not be coming back.

Came to pick my order tonite , the guy with glasses, had no customer service etiquettes and was egoistic. You need to start treating your customers with some respect and be humble . Customers are the reason you are working there .

June 2022 Updated Review: I m so happy our old mozys back! For the past three experiences we had, the food quality and taste have both been A+! I ve been a customer since 2010, and this is honestly the GOAT of the shawarma places in town! Today specifically, the meat and the veggies were both super fresh, the meat was juicy even and flavourful! For $15 at the current economy, you really can t ask more than that! The two guys in the restaurant were also such a good team, they don t even need to talk to each other but work seamlessly with each other! I specifically asked for no onions, while they were preparing my plate, I noticed there was a piece or two of raw onions in my plate (which is totally fine), but the guy specifically picked them out of the box! What a legend! Super impressed! I normally dont write reviews... but really cant be silent this time. I have to say, Mozys was our favorite, I started going there since I was in uni - so been a customer for at least 8 years. But recently, Mozys really dropped their ball! 1. They raised their price while they gave us less meat with worse quality - I straight up saw the guy shook out the meat from the cup while he was putting it in our boxes LOL 2. Terrible customer service: we asked for extra garlic sauce, but guess what, their understanding of extra means LESS - they gave us so little of garlic sauce that we cannot even mix it evenly on the shawarma. Are you trying to save up the garlic sauce so you can make soup out of it? 3. Terrible food quality The shawarma was cold (after theyve refried the old meat) and the salad was warm! There were huge chunks of onions not even cut mixed in the salad.... Seriously?!

Burnt pita bread, shawarma chicken tasted old, white sauce was basically garlic sauce and tasted just bad. Left my full shawarma plate as it is in their restaurant.

I ordered a shawarma plate on August 13th around 7:05 p.m. with extra tomatos and a can of pop. First of all, they charged me $19.46 for this. It was an 8 in x 8 in box. They charged my 75 cents extra for 14 half slices of a small tomato. It took three staff to assemble this poutine. It looked like one of them was scrubbing in for brain surgery. When I stopped them and said that s not what I ordered. The one proceeded to tell me that I had to pay $27 to get the shawarma plate because this was almost ready . He also said they increased their prices yesterday, so I would have to pay for a new shawarma plate . The box was half filled with fries and had cheese on it. Not what a shawarma plate looks like. I watched them mix old and cold fries sitting on the counter with hot ones that were actually undercooked and completely soaked in oil. Absolutely disgusting behaviour by the employees. In the past, I have had good experiences here but these employees were something else. I will not be returning here ever again.

I love mozys the takeout is great and if you really are in the mood for no vegetables I would highly recommend the shawarma poutine because the fries are good.

I really want to give this place a negative rating. Whenever we visit Waterloo, we make it a point to have the full-flavored Shawarma at Mozys. This time too, we ordered the same. While eating, I found a metal hook in the shawarma. I was startled for a good few minutes thinking what if I have consumed it. We brought it to the attention of the staff. They did apologise, gave us a refund and also replaced it with a new sandwich. But finding a metal hook is a serious health hazard and a big lapse in terms of food safety. Big thumbs down because this is not not expected at all from a big name like Mozys. Probably would not recommend this place to anyone as much as i would like to. Go there at your own risk!!

This is THE best shawarma place in Ontario i cant lie, the chicken here is like beyond perfect I ve never had a problem with any of the food they serve. Ive tried everything on their menu. The food is one thing but the customer service is amazing they are always nice.. But who ever made this shawarma place needs a medal mashallah. You guys must open a location in mississauga. been traveling 80 km to eat shawarma

The food was incredible. Ive been looking for authentic shwarama in the area for a long time and Ive finally found it! My wifes boyfriend recommended this place and I was skeptical at first but Ill be coming in whenever Im nearby.

Went in to get some takeout spent 95$ on my products, that I usually pay 65$ for thats a 45% increase on there food, and didnt give the proper amount that i paid extra for, my family and i have been coming to this place for the last 6 years and gotten the same stuff and now has some smugneass kid who stated his father was the owner was so rude and Unprofessional rude person continued to argue with me when I stated that they gave the wrong amount of chicken that I paid an additional 10$ for, I stated that have been coming for years every week and now not only are they cha 45% more then last month but now also there ripping people off the amounts they give portion wise, would not recommend going here ever again, I will ensure that I also spread the word an my large workplace, so so so disgusted with the behavior of the owners son that I will never go back.

The shawarma is quite small for the price. It tasted pretty average.

Large portions, delicious chicken and toppings over the best kind of fries and rice. Some of the best shawarma in the area. The garlic sauce is tasty, and the hot sauce is Sriracha, so I would add more if you like it hot! Mozys is the shawarma that made me realize that shawarma is my second favorite food.
