Great beer selection, great food, awesome and relaxed atmosphere.

Steak for the blue salad was cold and a bit tough, the apple crumble tasted a bit off. Chicken sandwich is good though. Their ketchup tastes weird. Good drinks.

Service was amazing. Atmosphere was very comfortable, and lots of vegitarian and gluten free options on the menu.

I go to Beertown semi-regularily as its close to my house. If you like beer, they have plenty of options. Its also not corny, with like beer in every dish. I went there for the Beertown collaboration with Bellwoods my fave brewery. I want to thank them because I ordered fries and even though gravy isnt on the menu, the kitchen made some specially for me from brisket drippings and it was INCREDIBLE. The best gravy Ive ever had. So, thanks for stellar customer service and the delicious offerings.

Had dinner in with our kids and it was a phenomenal experience. The server was positive, attentive and kind. She was super patient and encouraging of the kids when they ordered. Food and drinks arrived quickly and everyone was happy with their meal. Consistent check ins from our server and other staff without hovering. Potentially the best family meal experince we ve ever had. Kid-friendliness: Robust kid menu with something for everyone. Our server was very kind and patient with our kids.

Friendly service and delicious food.

Tonight, my husband and I ordered takeout from Beertown. I called in to explain my allergies (peanut and celiac), and in the past, Ive always felt confident that Beertown was attentive to allergies. However, when I received my order tonight, I noticed potential gluten contamination. I immediately called the restaurant to confirm and request a refund. I was thoroughly impressed by the customer service I received from the manager, Sorin. He confirmed there was gluten contamination and he truly empathized and apologized. He went above and beyond to make things right, offering a replacement meal and even delivering it personally to my home. As a thoughtful gesture, he included a couple of extra treats as well. I m truly grateful for the exceptional care and dedication Sorin showed. It s not every day you experience such outstanding customer service, and I truly appreciate Beertowns commitment to getting it right. Thank you, Sorin, for making this experience a positive one!

Busy / noisy yet typical sports bar atmosphere if youre looking for that

Good choices for food and drinks and a get together. Easily accessible by car or public transport.

Food is good. Service is overall good. But one incident that turned me off occurred after my girlfriend paid the bill. As we were getting ready to leave, a man, who I m assuming was the restaurant operator or manager, came up to us and told us that the waitress that served us told him that we didn t tip and explained to us that it s a custom in North America. I was confused because tips are optional and my girlfriend is a full-time university student so she doesn t have a lot of expendable income. She only works part-time and saved up enough to take us out for a nice meal. I ve worked in food service before and I ve never expected a tip or seen a customer be confronted over not tipping. It was a very weird interaction and I interpreted it as some sort of shame-tactic towards my girlfriend which I didn t appreciate. The service from the waitress wasn t exceptional either, she just did her job AKA just brought out the food. Not sure if we ll return but if we do, the tip will definitely be $0.00 from now on

Fun place, great beer selection and wide variety of food. Service was a 10. Pad Thai was very good. Hot chicken sandwich very good and dont forget the wings.

A very busy Monday night dinner service! we seemed to be served by a few green staff but the floor supervisors/FB managers were circulating and keeping things flowing. a few mix ups with drinks / steak doneness but they were rectified quickly and politely. keep up the good work! looking forward to coming back :) Vegetarian options: Wonton nachos were yum!

Here right now with my little brothers hockey team and the waitstaff seem so overwhelmed, it s so busy and they re clearly doing everything they can. Our servers have been so kind and friendly and so far all the food has been delicious. Surprisingly good coffee too. Definitely could use some more staff but that is not on them, all of the ones I ve interacted with have been fantastic people!

While the food was good I found it quite expensive for what it was. Not really worth it for what you get in my opinion

I would give it 5 stars if it wasnt for the price. The beer selection is huge but Id like more local craft beer at a better price. Its an accational treat for something better, priced craft beer spots dont offer, mainly the food, location near the ION or wide variety of beer, the others dont offer.

Super friendly. Only 60 minutes to closing but we were treated as important as the first customers of the day. Yummy food!

Honestly had a pretty solid experience here. I cant even remember what we ordered but I do remember the sliders. They were fantastic and I totally recommend. The tables were a tad sticky and the washrooms could have used some TLC. But in general if i was in the area again Id consider going back.

Manager there didn t let us sit down at 12:00pm on a Sunday because he thought we drank too much from the restaurant beside his. Old dude look like jerk. Terrible service.

Bartender is rude and is on a power trip. It s obvious she just wanted to go home and not serve clients. Not cool for us as regulars or anyone else, for that matter.

Went with our dog for brunch. It s was his first time at a restaurant. Staff was friendly, brought our little Benny a bowl of water. Lots of other dogs dined in as well. Food was great, consistent as always.

Love Beertown so wish they had a certified fryer for gluten free items. Always great service though. Love the garden area

Loud, slow service. Hard to get any attention after the food was served. Caesar salad came with no dressing. Had to ask for some. Cheese dip for pretzels didn t taste like cheese. Overall not impressed

I got the kbbq wings, and they were great. My friends got the beef brisket burger that is a go-to. Large indoor space, with a closed patio and an outdoor patio set to choose from.

I was there this past Friday in the evening. Sat at the bar area had me nice cold drinks, excellent fish tacos. My favorite go to. Had not been at this place in a year still on point. The staff the management always on point. Making you feel welcomed and taken care of you. Ive been to the Beer Town in New Market a few time and frequently go to the Whitby location. Great company keep up the excellent work.

I used to love their pad Thai but their new recipe is more like a watered down soup with noodles. I asked for shrimp and there was 3 of them in the pad Thai. All the seasoning was sitting in the bottom of the water. I was really disappointed especially when their prices are not cheap.

Great place to have a few drinks while watching the festivities out in the downtown square. We didnt have any food that day, but the food we saw others get looked very appealing. Maybe next time we try some food!

We visited this place in Waterloo with little expectations but it turned out to be great. The food, atmosphere, and view were all impressive. We had chicken wings, fish and chips, and lobster rolls. The fish was average, but the wings and lobster rolls were really good.

Great selection of food and beer with reasonable prices. A bit noisy so be prepared.

Could not think of a better way to celebrate my 53rd with my family, able to sit us exactly where we wanted, booth by the bar. The food was fantastic, above expectations, and the service from beginning to end was top notch. Kyle is a superstar. Hope to get back again.

One of my favorite places to eat out! I am diagnosed celiac the past year and have to have a strict gluten- free diet, the waiters were every pleasant and accommodating about the matter. They were knowledgeable enough to answer questions and specify what could be guaranteed GF, compared to just gluten-friendly. They dont have too many sides that are GF since they dont have a designated gf deep fryer anymore but they did oven baked sweet potato fries for me that were delicious! The vegetarian pad thai is forever my favorite and has awesome baked tofu ontop I do wish they still had a designated deep fryer so I could enjoy the wonton nachos which used to be my favorite, but I understand it takes up a lot of room and may not be used not nearly as much :( Vegetarian options: Great Pad thai with egg and tofu (egg can be removed for vegan) Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, vegetarian

We celebrated our recent nuptials at Beertown Waterloo ..Sorin Erdei the assistant manager was so accommodating.. he even took a Polaroid of the group for a keepsake. The staff were patient and offered up personal favourite meals and drinks. The meal was sooo delicious and the drinks (Painkiller) was absolutely yummy Can t wait to return .Calamari and two Painkillers please !!!!! Thank you again to the staff at Beertown! Its a good location. They have lots of different beers on the menu. The food and service is average. No bad but not acceptional. My favorite dish is the wonton nachos.

Food was great but the 7 th game of the final and they have no sound but brutal 80s music. Never coming back.

If you go to Beertown, you have to try the SWEET POTATO WEDGES theyre absolutely delicious! I also had the GUAC + CHIPS, which were fresh and tasty. For the main dish, I tried the fish taco but swapped the fish for shrimp. The taco was good. Overall, I highly recommend Beertown! Parking: downtown parking plaza is really close and usually have vacant spaces

A staple. Good food. Chill atmosphere. Quality service. I have always found myself going back here. Never misses Vegetarian options: Lots of options. I ve tried some and im not even vegetarian would definitely recommend.

If your Looking for quality well Maybe Not. Tried the brisket and it was not good. Fish tacos were fried, mostly coating. Won t go Back. Well we actually went back, got a seat out by the fountain it s a very nice spot. Joe our server was excellent. The food, we made some different choices and had a much better experience. Really liked the Asian lettuce wraps.

Went here because of the gluten free options. They do have some but do not have a dedicated fryer so dont have anything fried is youre celiac. I ended up with the Pad Thai and it was fantastic. Best Ive had in ages. All of the desserts are gluten free as well. Would definitely go again

An excellent meal and atmosphere. Went on a Wednesday evening and it was surprisingly packed, but we politely asked the host what the wait time for a patio table would be and they quickly walked around and found us one, surprisingly, and they were able to see how many tables were paid out, almost available etc.; very handy. The patio was superb and spacious, excellent styling and vibe. Server was attentive and friendly, although they mentioned the soda machine had been troublesome lately so our pops were borderline flat. Not a huge concern and they did do what they could to help. Pork belly sliders were phenomenal, a tad expensive for 3 small portions however. Meat perfectly cooked though. Fish tacos were dynamite and nicely cut/salted fries. Rest of the table seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Would definitely return, a fantastic location overlooking the square too with an integrated fountain for ambience.

We came with friends to relax and have a good time, as a result we received a cold steak, we waited 30 minutes for a straw for lemonade. I get the feeling that there are a lot of workers, but they can t pay attention to the guests

From what I remember- it was a great time. The place had the energy of the great Bavarian beer halls. Great selection on tap. And the food was particularly delicious.

We went to Beertown (Waterloo) tonight to enjoy a nice evening with drinks on their patio. We have been here dozens of times and each time, service and food are good. Tonight the service and food was OUTSTANDING! Our server Chenxi was the kindest, most attentive server we have ever had, anywhere! She genuinely cared if we were enjoying our food and drinks, and went above and beyond to make everything better than it normally would have been! If she even sensed that we were not completely satisfied with something, she came back with something even better, without us complaining about anything. So, we told who we thought was the Manager passing by, how great Chenxi is and he then revealed that he is the Regional Operations Leader. Chris was equally as involved in making sure everything was without a doubt 100% fabulous! We go out often and service and food in other places is good to very good at best. I can honestly say that tonight, we enjoyed a wonderful evening and could not find a single thing that could have been improved! We d like to say a special thank you to all the staff that came by and asked how we were doing and kept us hydrated while were there.THANK YOU BEERTOWN! We ll see you again soon!

We came here with a work group, and the service was friendly and very fast. Only comment I can make is they list a pad thai on the menu but then use a sweet and sour sauce as the base? It was tasty, but I dont understand why they call it a pad thai when it should just be a stir fry. I would have liked to have more flavour in it associated with a pad Thai ( a hint of spice for example but theirs had 0 spice) but it was fresh in terms of the ingredients and a good size.

Amazing experience! The food was perfect. I got the BBQ brisket burger by recommendation from our waitress and it was so good. A little slow to get refills, but not bad enough to really complain. 10/10
