Tacos were absolute 5-star!!!! Burrito was awesome too. Poutine was sub-par... the fries and/or gravy werent hot so the cheese didnt melt. If youre gonna do a poutine, you gotta make it HOT -- if the cheese isnt melty its a terrible poutine. Overall, I still recommend gillies for the tacos though - they were AMAZING - just dont do the poutine unless they get their shit together and start making them properly.

I really enjoy this place usually but this time not so much, I came in late night and ordered a double cheese burger and onion rings, then when it came time to pay I was told by the lady working that I couldnt order it because she needed enough buns for online orders and its easier to have me order something else rather than an online order get something else, (why she waited so long to tell me this is beyond me and I fail to see why it was my problem.) I had to get a burrito instead (not to mention her hassling me to get the wildly overpriced grillitos which is the easiest thing on the menu for her to make, what a coincidence...) then when I pay and she hands me my change she tells me she doesnt have any dimes, so now Ive been told I cant order what I wanted when she is fully capable of making it, and short changed me... seriously dissapointing this time around.

We decided to try Grillies because we were looking for a quick bite to eat on our way home from the buskers with our kids. We were the only ones in the store and yet it took them 25 minutes to make 1 burrito, 1 rice bowl and fries. They also did not provide cutlery to eat the rice bowl. The food itself was decent.

Ordered Monster burger, grilitos, fries and Strawberry- mango shake.. Everything.. I repeat Every Thing, tasted amazing. It was late at night around 1:30am, the CSR- Jainam was very kind, helping and gave great suggestions. Very hardworking staff.. everything was prepared so fresh, and good and love. Adding it to my go-to late night spot.

Grillies is a nice little hidden gem uptown Waterloo. Open 24hrs and catering mostly to the after-bar crowd, they manage to be an attractive option even to someone like me just looking for a tasty bite late in the evening. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is always friendly and attentive. Its tough nowadays finding a nice balance of value to quality, so Grillies fills a nice niche in the fast service restaurant market. Thanks for the cheeseburger tonight and keep up the good work!

The food is fine but their delivery service is worst than any other store. So Ill never ever order the food from there. Because, I waited more than 1 hour to get it delivered. It is better to cook the food ourselves than order from there. At least we can eat the food on time.

I come here often and the food is great if youre looking for really good greasy fast food. The major downside is that the the food consistently takes a very long time to come. For a few items I always wait over 10 minutes. I dont want people rushing all day but the kitchen process really feels that it could be made more efficient.

This place has amazing chicken grilled burgers. Been here for lunch here, for a place this good it was strangely less crowded, Rohit took my order and the burger was delivered pretty quickly. The burger itself was awesome. Grilled to perfection, the chicken thigh patty really melted, they have quite a choice of toppings and sauces. Definitely a very big upgrade from the Tims or MCD for better price. Would definitely visit again to try more items. Cheers to Rohit for the service. Pathetic service provided, definitely will not recommend the place. The server didn t put any spicy kidney beans in my spice tacos without informing me because apparently he was worried about the quality of the ingredients. If the employee himself isn t sure about the quality and is not informing their customers then I don t think this place is worth the visit. The place was full of flies as well. Was excited for lunch until we opened the bag to find our onion rings burnt to a crisp to the point where a great majority of them were inedible. On top of that they skimped out on filling for our burritos. They were as flat as a square. The smoothie and soda lemonade are pretty good though.

This place was perfectly adequate .there is so much selection in this area, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

1) Poor service they hire students who cant even speak English 2) It took almost 150 minutes to prepare 2 burgers 3) They hardly talk on phone due to poor communication skills. 4) They give stupid explanations for order delays like we were cleaning our grills we were close ( if you are cleaning your grill or closed then why you take money and accept order . It was the worst food experience i could have imagined and waiting for like more than 150 minutes quietly for food after paying was totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope the owner read this and do something to save his business

Waited 35 minutes for this on my break which made me late even though I pre ordered an additional 20 minutes before ended up getting minor food poisoning because I was in a rush to eat and didn t notice at first then instantly spat everything out when I noticed on top of that the bun was so soggy on the inside it was like eating wet paper ,thanks to them I m now sick and in bed on Easter Sunday so I d definitely recommend checking out other spots such as gladiator burger, burger factory, pippers if your looking for a nice quality juicy burger that won t make you sick and give you excruciating stomach pain.

i work across the street and every single time i ve been to this location there s been an issue. it s either 45 minutes for a burger or we walk in and they re closing when they re supposed to be 24 hours. this restaurant is terrible. 24 hours but we walk in and we re told it s An hour for food? that s absolute insanity. great concept. great location. the owner and staff are completely fumbling when it comes to presentation. do not recommend ever.

Very slow. Waiting for 25 minutes for onion rings. They skipped over my number too It s not like my order was complicated. Just toss them in the deep fryer and they re done in a few minutes.

You might think is a paid review, but I genuinely felt the need to leave a review. Maybe its just because Im a foodie or I was really hungry, but these were hands down some of the most satisfying tacos and burgers Ive had in a while. Each time Ive been here they were made fresh to order so theres a bit of a wait, but its worth it. Not to mention it was only $3 for the taco and $5 for the burger. Would recommend

Great service from Sainath. I came by late at night and he treated me with excellent service and made sure I was taken care of. He gave me an appropriate wait time even though it was late and he kept me updated, as well as made sure I was comfortable during the wait time.
