Excessive wait time

I guess everyone s experience is different at this place. I usually get satisfactory service from this place with mediocre quality food

Bad review: The egg shape of the braised pork rice is outrageous. The meat has an unpleasant smell. My stomach hurts after eating it.

I ordered Pepper and cumin chicken it has so much of schezuan peppers in one order that we were not able to eat had to through out the dish. We had ordered same dish about 1 month back and it was perfectly normal

Ordered omurice and made it clear that I was allergic to mushrooms. The waiter was arrogant and said that he was confident that the omurice doesn t contain mushrooms. I asked him to please make a note of my allergies anyway and he said he will. When I got my food (delivery), there were mushrooms in both omurice and there was not a note mentioning no mushrooms. Had to throw out everything and order somewhere else. Very unprofessional.

If youre too busy, dont take so many takeaways I want to make money from the customers in the store, and I want to make money from takeaways. I just keep the customers waiting. I have a dark heart.

Very authentic Shandong cuisine. The price is relatively reasonable, about 15 a plate, and the braised chicken, diced chicken, crispy bones, and pigs feet are all very good. The rice was delicious the first time I ate it, The last few times the rice was hard. The standard water to rice ratio is very important when steaming rice. Different brands of rice are suitable for adjustment.

Food was ok. Portion size were pretty big and prices were fair.

Ordered from delivery platform for a preorder, but they only informed the platform way after my pre-ordered deliver time that they dont do preorder. I had to wait with an empty stomach and reorder from another store. I dont know why they cant fulfill the order while they still offer the same dishes for the same price.

The service attitude is extremely poor. During the epidemic, someone took my takeaway by mistake and they still kept giving it to me without notifying me. Isn t this a waste of people s time? Speechless

Food was pretty good for the price. The place itself wasn t as well decorated as its neighbours. Also there was only one waitress handling everything: all the tables, online orders, etc.

I visited this location when it opened in my second year at Waterloo. Im disappointed to say that it was easily the worst dine-in experience of my life. This is by far the most disrespectful location Ive ever had the displeasure of visiting as my friends and I waited 2 hours before we finally got our food. The restaurant lost our order and then messed up our follow-up order which is reluctantly understandable as it was recently opened up, if not for the fact that the staff and owner yelled at us trying to pin the blame on us. I wish we just walked out but we ended up finishing our meal and paying full price (this is disgraceful). The food was mediocre at best and the service was just too much of a turn off. The fact that Im writing this review over a year after should prove my disgust at my experience with Mizu. I sincerely hope that service has improved and that this sad excuse for a restaurant has become more than a waste of space in our plaza.

Delicious! And good price

I decided to give this place a try for the second time because I thought maybe its just that day and I also wanted to try a dish that looked very good in their menu. However this was not the case. I asked for ribs, instead I got beef slices. But had the beef slices been actually beef Id be okay. But they were slices of fat!! This is very frustrating. As I paid $12.99 per dish and with tax around $30 something and I essentially got rice and fat slices. The noodles werent better as there were glossy pieces of fat. The tiny sections of beef youd needed to chew for hours to be able to swallow. Imagine an udon soup where you cannot chew and swallow the beef. This is not okay. The images Ive shared theyre supposedly the same dish lmao. I dont recommend the beef options. I know I wont be coming here anymore. Plus, the photos look nothing like the actual dish.

Very poor service attitude

According to Waterloo Health, this restaurant has the highest number of food safety violations in the city. 20 violations in the last two inspections alone. Now thats disgusting.

Eat @ your own Risk Mizu Restaurant at 150 University Ave. W. was one of the four restaurants to have its food destroyed in September 2019. The site shows the same thing happened at a subsequent inspection in October. Since then, Mizu has had five visits from public health. On each occasion the restaurant has been cited for critical issues with food contamination. In one instance the restaurant was not protected against the entry and harbouring of pests, and three times it was cited for storing food on the floor. When CBC K-W contacted the restaurant, staff at Mizu provided the phone number for an owner, but they could not be reached for comment.

CBC News said it aint good.

I ordered beef striploin steak and pasta which seems both are pretty popular on the menu, but we barely touch the food! I won t order anything from this place ever!

The food provided here is more authentic Chinese cuisine so it would taste a lot saltier and spicier. The staff was fine, but not very helpful and they were kinda unhappy while they worked.

Foods were good, but terrible services

Chinese restaurant with actual Chinese owners/staff. I had the beef udon and while the broth and noodles were delicious, the beef was far from good. Pricing and portions are decent. Overall I enjoyed my experience but I think there are better options in the area.

We inspect it! website. Some restaurants have outward facing stickers with a scannable code that takes users to the site. In Toronto, restaurants are required to prominently display the result of their most recent health inspection to customers. Notices are green, yellow or red depending on the results of the inspection. Our system has been in place for over a decade now, and its basically just providing people the information, Franco said.

A great specialty restaurant in Waterloo, the hot pot bullfrog is particularly delicious, and the steak omelette rice is also super special!

The boiled fish is so delicious (it goes great with rice) and the clams are also super delicious. It s perfect with a cup of stew when the weather gets cold.

The black pepper sauce pasta is delicious!

Food was decent and staff is friendly, but the service was very slow for us and the price isnt very cheap for what you get.
