I had such a great time at this restaurant! The food was excellent, with rich flavors and perfect portions. What truly made the visit special was Naile s warm and professional approach. Such a beautiful restaurant with delicious Turkish food this place really took me back to Türkiye I literally felt like I was in Türkiye once again. You truly get the best Turkish experience here. We got the mixed appetizers and it came with dips and bread and everything was absolutely delicious we also got a mixed platter for 8. It was plenty of food and was sooooo delicious I will definitely be back. We re already planning our next visit here again 10/10

Great decor, service and food!

Great portion and delicious meal. We order the platter for 2, which was super delicious with great variety. At the end we still had a lot of food remaining for the next day.

Loved their platter. Serving is generous, and everything on that platter was delicious! We were 8 in the group, ordered the one thats good for five people, and had take out. The place is also very beautiful.

I had adana kabab wrap and it was really tasty but i didnt really like the mix doner plate. suleman helped us with menu when server were not there. Really enjoyed the time. Ill come again.

Food is okay. Some better than others. The donor plate was below average. The shish plate was good and the icli kofte was good too. I also liked the homemade ayran but at $4 for about half a cup it was expensive. Service is horrendous. They did not greet us at the door. Had to call someone to get seated. When they brought the food, they brought 2 of the 4 meals and forgot about the other two. Had to call one person and then another to get the rest of the food. The red bell pepper in my salad had the fruit sticker on it still. So not only it wasnt washed properly, it wasnt even noticed when getting chopped. Every time we needed something we had to wait so long to flag someone down. No one server was assigned to our table and overall the service was quite slow. I didnt want to tip, but the guy who brought us the last item and our check was nice so I ended up tipping but honestly it was not deserved. The restaurant has potential, its big and has a nice menu, but it seems to have a management problem unfortunately.

Overall was okay , but they have to work on there cleanness Specially there water glasses were dirty , the washrooms were dirty as well . The service was okay , the food was not bad Food : 3/5

The food was amazing and fresh. Loved all of it The service.. had a reservation that was confirmed, and when we got there, they had no record of it. Then it took a while to be seen to. No menus or water, etc. Slow, but the service was good when we got it, Atmosphere.. needed music. Some kid was playing baby shark on the cell phone, and it kind of ruined the vibe. Overall. Maybe I will try it again to see if I change my mind!! Kid-friendliness: Please, when you are in a restaurant, dont let your kids be babysat by a cell phone!! Talk to them!!!!!!

Came here for the 20% off special. After previously visiting the Mississauga location, we had very high expectations. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, and the servers are nice, however there were quite a few aspects during our dinner that were not so great. Firstly, when coming to check on our table, the server grabbed our 2 remaining pieces of bread from the basket with her bare hands and placed them in another basket so she could clear the extra dishes We ordered the mixed doner plate, the rice was mushy, and the meat was extremely salty. While the fries were good, they tasted like costco fries, and the hummus also tasted like it was from costco. We came around 8pm and the restaurant was not busy at all, rather it was pretty empty and the service was still very slow. It took us 20 mins to get the bill after they already cleared all our plates, and we had to ask for it. For the prices we are paying, and the expectations we had, we are extremely disappointed.

We went for dinner to celebrate a special day but they ruined it for us. First the food was cold. The taste was Okay could ve been better if they brought it hot. I ve been to a lot of restaurants all over Toronto but this restaurant has one of the worst service. Our waiter was so rude. He didn t bother telling us the food didn t come with bread so we had to order bread after they brought the food and wait 30 minutes just for the bread! That also we had to ask multiple people and then they brought it. The waiter again didn t bother telling us the bread piece was very small. We had to order more and wait 15 more minutes. I expect better service for the price they re charging. Such a bad experience don t think I ll go again there.

The green pistachio baklava is truly high-quality and incredibly delicious. It s no different from the taste I ve had at many famous and high-end dessert shops in Turkey. Whoever you have making this dessert, please maintain this level of quality.

I visited Agha with my family last weekend, excited to try this newly opened restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience from start to finish. To begin with, the restaurant was freezing. Despite having such a large space, they seated everyone near the windows, where it was uncomfortably cold. It felt like the windows were open, as there was a noticeable cool breeze throughout our meal, making it hard to enjoy the experience. We ordered one pide and one lahmacun as appetizers, along with separate main courses for everyone. About 10 minutes later, a waitress brought a platter for five to our table something we hadn t ordered. She seemed completely unsure of what she was doing and took it back to the kitchen after we pointed out the mistake. Shortly after, only one of our main courses arrived, while the rest of us waited, including for the appetizers, which should have come out first. After another 10 minutes, as my mom ate her meal alone, the appetizers finally arrived. Just as we started on those, another waiter brought out a BBQ dish we hadn t ordered, dropped it on our table, and walked away. When we called him back, he seemed confused, grabbed the dish, and placed it on the table next to us. Two more main courses eventually came out after we finished the appetizers, but we were still waiting for the last meal. After another 15 minutes of waiting, we had to flag down the waiter to check on it. He seemed completely unaware of the delay. They eventually gave us fries on the house, likely because they had given our final meal to another table and had to remake it. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. My skender kebab had a decent portion size, but the bread bites underneath were stale and hard, and the sauce tasted overly tangy and not fresh. While the portions were okay, there are much better restaurants in the area offering better service and higher-quality dishes, especially for doner. Overall, we were very disappointed. We had been excited to try Agha for the first time, but the freezing atmosphere, disorganized staff, and chaotic service ruined the entire experience. The food was passable, but nothing special. I don t recommend it and won t be coming back.

Overall my family and I were pleased with our experience at AGHA. The food was quite good and they give ample servings. My wife and I shared a dinner for two that could have fed three. The bread provided was very tasty. The chicken wings were particularly delicious. I am not sure what seasoning is on them but I would absolutely recommend it. I was surprised that the water given was room temperature but perhaps that was due to the heating issue? Anyway, the service was a little bit slow but that was more than made up for by the friendly server we had named Arda. He was helpful and kind. People in other reviews say that the menus dont have prices, which is true if using the physical ones, but the QR code on the table provides you with a menu with prices. I will definitely give this restaurant another try and take Arda up on the offer of some tea!

My wife and I went here on a Saturday night. We were served by Arda. He was super friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent! We had lentil soup, grilled chicken kebab, salad and dessert. Although my wife had been there before, it was my first time. We asked Arda a lot of questions about the food and about Turkey. He was very helpful and patient. Will definitely go again! Update December 11, 2024 Went here again with my wife for special night. There was a Turkish band that was awesome! We were singing along and dancing around the whole restaurant. We paid $55 each and had 4 delicious appetizers with fresh bread and more than enough delicious main course food-chicken and beef kebab bulgur, rice, salad, and other meats. Tea and baklava for dessert. What i like about this place is that management is so open to listening if anything is not up to par and willing to make it better. Our server this time was Muammer. This guy was so classy! Was always available when we needed him and made our stay totally enjoyable. He mentioned to us that he had worked several years on a cruise ship--it was evident by his service and the way he conducted himself. My wife only had one complaint--her food was not as hot as she wanted. Everything else was great!!

The food was delicious, the orders came very fast and hot, the portions were very filling and stylish. The waiter who took care of us was very attentive Her name is Sena, she is a girl with black hair and glasses.

We absolutely enjoyed the food and dining experience at this AGHA Turkish restaurant. The place is spacious, clean, and very inviting. The staff are well-trained and professional, providing excellent service. A special shoutout to our server, Salih, who was incredibly prompt and attentive. I came here with multiple friends. We had a great server, Naile, she was amazing, super kind and helpful. I recommend this restaurant it s flawless.

The service at this restaurant is extremely disorganized. It often takes a long time before a waiter is even assigned to your table. Once seated, the attention to customers is inconsistent at times, no one checks on you for extended periods, while at other times, the staff seems to hover unnecessarily. Overall, the lack of coordination among the waiters made for a frustrating dining experience.

I love this place. The food is very delicious and the staff are friendly. They bake fresh bread and the food is served hot unlike some restaurants that by the time the food is served is totally cold. There are big seating areas and lots of parking available. The owner also was very friendly and answeing questions. Tonight our server was Arda who was very friendly and helpful and told us about their December 11th event with live music and package deals for food which we are looking forward to attending.

The restaurants pleasant atmosphere is evident as soon as you enter. The staff are attentive and welcoming. Serving tea, a gesture fitting Turkish culture, was a nice touch. For the main course, we chose skender and kebab. The dishes were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we had künefe, which we can say received full marks from us.

We gave this place three chances. Each time we visited, we were very disappointed. I ordered the Cokertme kebab. There should be no fries like that in Cokertme kebab. It has nothing to do with Turkish cuisine. The food is not tasty. The customer service is not friendly either. If you want to go here, you can only eat lahmacun. But it is not the best.

It is a very nice Turkish restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect. I ate plate doner and kunefe. Both of them were delicious. It met with partner and manager of the restaurant. He is a Turkish guy also workers are kind and helpful. Half of them are Turkish. So it is defiantly a Turkish restaurant. I will keep trying other meals too.

I had the pleasure of dining here twice in the past two weeks and both times I was impressed by the food, atmosphere and service. I had the AGHA platter which was more than enough food. I like the variety you get with this meal. I really liked the fact that they serve complimentary tea as well. This is the best place to dine in with your family or friends. WE HAVE BEEN STANDING FOR YEARS. I cant praise it enough. I am grateful to AGHA restaurant, which offers us the wonderful flavors of our country in the most accurate and delicious way. We came with my boyfriend and he loved the Turkish cuisine, we even ordered takeout for our parents, trusting in the taste. It is a newly opened place, but I would still like to mention its cleanliness. Because the wounded part of all of us is hygiene. We also saw that they were very successful in terms of cleaning. We loved its decoration and interior architecture. The service is amazing. All the employees were friendly and never let us down. Most of all, I would like to thank Arda, who took care of our table, for his attention and care.

Unfortunately have to say that my experience wasn t good. I was there on Nov 29 for dinner. It was cold outside, and no heat whatsoever in the restaurant. After sitting for a while in our coats, even that wasn t enough because we were freezing, and left. Food was not even close to true Turkish cuisine. We ordered manti, which are served as $23 appetizer. Manti should be dumplings (usually phyllo pastry) stuffed with ground beef. We got plain dough cut in pea size squares (no filling at all), cooked and covered in oil where you could say some meat was prepared before and yogurt. No meat whatsoever. That s not manti! Especially not something worth $23. Very very disappointed. The other food we ordered was also overpriced and not the matching quality or size. I wouldn t recommend this restaurant. There are much better Turkish places in the area.

Arda was a very nice server and talked to us a little bit about Turkey. I loved the ali nazik kebab the meat was extremely tender and the eggplant yogurt sauce was great. I found the iskendar kebab less exciting as i think the meat was a bit overcooked

We have made a reservation a week before for 15 people. The food were suppose to be ready at 2pm but they did not even open service to our table after 30 mins we were there. When we asked, they did not even start cooking our food. As a Turkish person, sorry to say but Yet another failure for Turkish restorants in Kitchener/Waterloo.

Kebabs are ordinary. No taste.

I recently visited this Turkish restaurant and had a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, which made us feel welcome. For food, we tried the Adana kebabs. The portions were generous, and the meat was tender and juicy. However, I felt the seasoning could use improvement it lacked the bold flavors and spices typically associated with Turkish cuisine and could have used a bit more salt. One surprising detail was the absence of complimentary bread, which is usually a staple at Turkish restaurants. Bread before or alongside the meal would have been a nice touch. On a positive note, the kunafa was absolutely delicious a definite highlight of the meal! Overall, it s a good restaurant with a lot of potential. With a few adjustments to the seasoning and a more authentic touch to the dining experience, it could be exceptional.

We were excited to visit a Turkish restaurant in the KW area after waiting for some time for it to open. However, our experience was deeply disappointing on multiple visits. First Visit: On our first visit, the meats were undercooked. We pointed this out to the staff, who acknowledged it. Since it was only their second day after opening, I chose not to leave feedback then, giving them the benefit of the doubt. However, the food lacked flavor overall, leaving us dissatisfied. Second Visit: Despite my hesitation, my friends encouraged me to give the restaurant another chance, believing they would have addressed the earlier issues. Unfortunately, the chicken we ordered was undercooked again. When we raised the issue, they replaced it with lahmacun, which was just okay not exceptional. They also offered complimentary baklava to make up for the mistake, but the overall impression remained poor. Third Visit: Hoping for improvement, we gave the restaurant a final chance and pre-ordered soup a week in advance for pickup at 2 PM. When we arrived, we were seated in a back room that wasn t properly set up for service no plates, utensils, or basic preparations. We waited 40 minutes, only to be told the food wasn t ready and that we might have to wait another 40 minutes. This was despite placing the order well in advance. The owner didn t even show up to address the situation or offer an apology. Frustrated, we left without being served. Conclusion: I have never experienced such disregard for customer care, readiness, and respect. After giving the restaurant three chances to improve, they repeatedly failed to meet basic expectations. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. If they can t show care for their customers after multiple opportunities, they don t deserve the trust or support of the community.

Food wasnt great at all. Washrooms and stairs were dirty. They played happy birthday music so loud that they pierced my daughters ears and she started crying, everyone was looking around was wondering whats going on and who was controllingthe music...they brought my dinner out first before any of the appetizers. Then brought the appetizers after 5 mins and it was 10 minutes after the appetizers that they brought my wife her dinner. If a restaurant cant serve good food. Its not worth going back to. We were very excited, but it was just the hype of their instagram and super fake Google reviews. The trick of those fake reviews is getting too old and everyone can spot them now. If you cant get a proper respectful honest revoew based on your food, then improve upur restaurants rather than you cheating skills.

As a Turk living in Canada, I was very excited when I saw that a restaurant under the name Turkish cuisine had opened and today we came hoping to have a nice iskender. Although it was only 18:40, they told us that all the dishes containing beef were sold out. Ive been living in Canada for 1.5 years and this is the first time Ive experienced something like this in a restaurant. We got up and left, of course. It may be a new place, but they should have been prepared and there is nothing more shameful than telling the customer that they dont have what they want. After all, people come a long way to eat and they plan their day accordingly. Its a disappointment.

Exceptional service and food

We arrived around 18:30 on November 9th. We decided what to eat. However the server informed us there was nothing with beef was available. We were very disappointed. I do not know if I would ever come again.

The food arrived cold. We could not find the taste we expected. The meat was either raw or dried. There was no red meat on the mixed grill, except for the ribs. Lets not mention the appetizers in short. The table we were eagerly waiting for was a complete disappointment. We are at home right now and we are struggling with our stomach, and the two bites of chicken we ate are trying to disturb us. continues..he returned to the kitchen with our plates full Anyway...we are consoled by the fact that we paid the price for its aura.

New place first time visit. They don t have kelle/paca soup although it is in the menu. Ordered iskender doner. The meat had only beef stir fry in it no doner meat at all and it was chewy meat was not cured or prepared properly. Oct. 9 sat around 2pm visit time. Not impressed.

I recently visited the Waterloo location of Agha Turkish Restaurant with my mom and husband and we were very impressed with the quality, ambiance and service. Its an amazing addition to the Halal food scene of KW. We did find a small issue with our salad- there was a bug in it, which is never a good thing to have, lol. But the way management handled the situation, is beyond exceptional. The owner, Mehmet, cam to us and apologized for the mishap, took full responsibility, and went above and beyond to make things right, which really showed their commitment to customer satisfaction. Apart from that hiccup, the experience was fantastic. The ambiance of the restaurant is simply stunning a perfect blend of comfort and style. The food quality and taste were marvelous, with each dish being beautifully prepared and bursting with authentic turkish flavor. The servers were also polite, attentive, and quick, ensuring we had a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Id specifically want to mention our server Zayneb who had such a sweet demeanor. Id definitely go back with my family and friends. Oh and the baklava is the best Ive ever had! Definitely a must try place for amazing food with calm, relaxing vibe. Thank you Mehmet and team! Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options in the menu, from appetizers to pide. Dietary restrictions: Halal Parking: Its a big plaza, so free parking is easy to find. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for kids, high chairs for little ones were also available Wheelchair accessibility: The place looks wheelchair accessible, although the washrooms are in the basement, and Im not sure if there in a elevator there.

The food was exceptional! The pide and Kunafa were delicious - highly recommend both. Plus the service was fantastic! I can t remember our servers name but he was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our meal. Overall, this was a great experience!

3/5 (will update my rating after my next visit) I visited Agha Turkish Restaurant on its second day of opening. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed and promptly seated. After about 10 minutes, the waiter took my order. Unfortunately, by 6:30 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024, they had run out of all major kebabs, so I opted for the Mix Pide and Beef Doner Durum. The food took a long time to arrive about 40-45 minutes. I also noticed that other customers were facing similar delays. For instance, a family seated next to me had been waiting for 25 minutes before anyone came to take their order, which I only noticed after pointing it out to the staff. The manager, Joseph/Yusuf, was very kind, and their customer service was generally friendly, with smiles and polite gestures. However, there seemed to be a lack of professionalism when it came to managing table orders and timely service. While the number of servers appeared adequate, there was a clear need for better coordination and training. Several staff members seemed to be wandering aimlessly or hiding in corners, not keeping an eye on customers needs. Additionally, not all the waiters had order-taking machines, and those assigned to cleaning tables appeared disengaged and sluggish. I would suggest having at least two or three staff members dedicated to each section, who can both take orders and clear tables. This would streamline operations and ensure that customers are attended to more efficiently. If this division of labor remains in place, I d recommend providing more ordering devices to those responsible for taking orders. As for the food, while it was decent, I wouldn t classify it as the best Turkish cuisine I ve had. I ve enjoyed more authentic and flavorful Turkish meals in the Ontario area, especially in Mississauga and Etobicoke. I tried two items the Pide and Beef Doner Durum though neither stood out. The Pide was underwhelming, especially compared to what I ve had at Antiochia Turkish Doner in Ridgeway Plaza, which I d rate far higher. Agha s Pide was average at best, so I d give it a 3/10. However, the Beef Doner Durum (wrap) was better; the beef was tender, and the lavash bread was a nice touch, though it didn t reach exceptional levels. I d rate the wrap a 7/10. The Durum was served with a small portion of fries. There was a 20% discount on opening days, which was a nice touch. I ll definitely return to try other menu items and will update my review accordingly. Note: No prices are mentioned on the menu, you have to ask the staff about it.

Absolutely fantastic Turkish restaurant! PThe food was so fresh and flavorful the chicken kebabs were juicy, and the pide was perfectly baked with a deliciously crispy crust. I had a chance to dine in on saturday. I ve already been to the mississauga location so i was already familiar with agha. Food came out late which is understandable since they ve just opened up. Our server Zeynep Usak was cheerful and made sure we had the best experience.

Went for dinner last night with my parents and husband. Menus have no pricing or descriptions which is fine. I asked the server what was included in the family meal for five. Service was slow, but its ok its new place, takes time for things to fall into place. We got our food no sauces or salad made everything seem dry. Once we were done I asked for the bill, bill came to $100.50 server could not give me a receipt as there was something wrong with his machine so I told him its ok. Waited around for the complimentary tea, my mum decided she wanted dessert so we ordered, after finishing dessert I flagged down our server to let him know I wanted to pay for dessert. He said he would be back, this is at least 30 - 45 minutes after I have already paid the original bill. We waited quite some time, he finally came over with another man, this man advised me my original payment didnt clear, I advised him it had and the server had told me this but could not give the receipt due to machine issues. He then proceeded to tell me no I owe $138 for the original order plus payment for dessert, I told him my order was only $100 and change the first time not $138. He told me check to see if my card was charged and then walked off with the server. He then came back and advised my original payment was $100.50 and had in fact cleared, gave me a receipt, then I paid for dessert. Extremely disappointed with the service. Will likely not visit again.

Great food. Went for the first time tonight. It was a bit slow at first for us to get our order in but from there everything was fine. It was very very busy which is great to see you at a place thats only been open for just over a week. At the end we met the manager and his wife and they were wonderful people. Our server Hazem was terrific. We will definitely be back.

I had gone to visit a friend, I heard that a new restaurant was opening and I was curious. I found a taste that exceeded my expectations, our waiter Mehmet made us admire here with his very friendly and smiling face. A wonderful place, friendly staff and quality venue

I dined at Agha Restaurant recently, and honestly, it was not a good experience. The waitresses were super friendly and attentive, doing their best to make us welcomed. But unfortunately, the food took forever to arrive. To add on, I was told they didn t have any meat doner that day, which was disappointing since that s what I d been looking forward to. But what really bothered me was how the owner, Mehmet, treated the team. He was constantly putting pressure on the waitresses, raising his voice and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. I know that the place has just opened, so I can understand the complications, but there are improvements to come. With better management and quicker service in the kitchen, this place could be great, but it s hard to recommend.

My friends and I visited this restaurant for its grand opening, expecting a lively and well-prepared atmosphere, but sadly, our experience was anything but that. While we were seated promptly after reserving in advance, issues began almost immediately. The menus were incomplete, with missing descriptions and prices, and we had to rely on a QR code just to get basic information about the dishes. Trying to get a waiter s attention proved challenging, as they often disappeared despite the restaurant seeming well-staffed. The night took an even worse turn when the fire alarms suddenly went off due to issues with the grill in the kitchen, something you d expect to be checked and working perfectly on a grand opening night. The staff seemed utterly unprepared, offering no guidance to guests. Some patrons stayed inside while others, like us, waited outside for 40 minutes until the fire department arrived. After we were allowed back in, we assumed our order was being prepared. But then, a manager approached us nearly 90 minutes into our visit to inform us that the grill was no longer in operation due to the fire alarm and that our order would need to be modified from a reduced menu. We adjusted our order, hoping the rest of the evening would improve, but unfortunately, the issues continued. After another long wait, three of our four orders arrived, with one dish still missing. My friends, out of courtesy, waited for my meal to come so we could all eat together, but their food went cold as we continued to wait. After 30 more minutes, we were told they were out of doner but would prepare a fresh batch in 15 minutes and provide some appetizers while we waited. Even then, we had to follow up with staff twice before the appetizers finally arrived. Nearly three hours after arriving, I was served my beef iskender, which was underwhelming in portion and quality, especially when compared to other Turkish restaurants in the area. Despite all the chaos, the apologies from the staff, and the hours we spent waiting, we were still charged for our order (including the grand opening discount). Spending three hours in a restaurant without adequate service or food quality is unacceptable. The lack of organization, customer care, and preparation set a troubling precedent for this restaurant s future. This location, like its Mississauga counterpart, seems to lack the warmth and attentiveness you d expect from a place claiming to offer authentic Turkish cuisine. Many of the existing reviews feel insincere, as our experience didn t align with the glowing praise seen elsewhere. Please don t be misled, there are other Turkish restaurants around that are far more deserving of your time and money until these guys get their stuff together.

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in the aroma of freshly grilled kebabs filled the air, making my mouth water. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The lahmacun was absolutely perfect thin, crispy dough with a flavorful, well-seasoned minced meat topping, and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere of the place is really cozy, and it s the perfect spot to enjoy some great flavors. Highly recommend it. I can t wait to come back!

Agha Restaurant truly impressed us with both its outstanding food and exceptional service. The service was quick, and every dish from the Iskender Doner to the Sauteed dishes, Lahmacun, Pide, and Manti was packed with authentic flavors. As someone always on the lookout for great Turkish food in the area, I m thrilled to have found a new favourite. I highly recommend Agha Restaurant! Be sure to try the Lentil Soup, Hummus, and Babaganoush as appetizers you won t regret it!

We felt discriminated against at this restaurant.When we tried to place our order, the server kept attending to other tables instead of focusing on us, kept interrupting the order flow. Then ask us to restart the ordering process. We had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food, while other tables that arrived after us were served first. When we asked and complained, the server stated that our food needed to be grilled and cooked, without offering any apology, even though other tables received the same type of grilled food. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. So no comment on the quality of the food. When we left, the person we think he might be the manager, we literally walked out in front of him, but he even didn t bother to say thank you or at least say good bye to us. We will never come back!

Finally a restaurant brings the authentic taste and quality of Turkish cuisine to KW Area. AGHA definitely meets and exceeds the expectations with its variety and fresh kebaps, spacious dining concept and quality of service. Our host Salih was very kind, knowledgeable and made us feel like home.

Food took a bit long to come (which is understandable as they just opened), but quality was great and portion sizes were massive! Mix doner plate will easily last me 2-3 meals! Prices are quite reasonable for the portion sizes, and the atmosphere inside was very nice. Definitely worth trying.

Ordered the Asha Mix for 2, Lemon Mint mocktail and the baklava. Free water bottles. Mix was good selection of meat, although they initially forgot to bring two kebabs. Lemon mint drink could have been sweeter, and was more foam than drink. Baklava was nice and freshly made. Prices were slightly on the higher end of value but it s a decent meal.

Unfortunately, it is a very amateur business, orders arrive very late and incorrectly, and repeat orders are said to be unavailable 15 minutes later. Its risky to go hungry. The taste is the same or more average than any Turkish restaurant. Prices are higher. I got an extra star bonus :) I hope they turn into a professional business very quickly...

I ve been to the Mississauga location and knew their food is amazing so I decided to go check it out this new spot. Food is delicious, great quality, the service was also good (for a Saturday night). Meat and appetizers fresh and delicious. Only complaint is that when I ordered the mix appetizer it came a bit different than the one described on the menu, and when I asked the server they answered with the menu is not accurate . For a new restaurant the menu should be 100% accurate with the right information. Besides that, everything was really good, left full and satisfied. Thank you for bringing Agha to Waterloo.

The food was not like authentic Turkish cuisine. We ordered saj, which on the menu showed only meat on the saj. However, when the food arrived, was meat and rice were served separately on a plate. I believe the food and service could use improvement. Additionally, the tomato sauce was too acidic, and the rice didn t taste fresh. The decoration is amazing but look at this plate.

I liked the Atmosphere, it s calm and quiet but also fancy. I liked the food but i tried the cheese pasta and I honestly didn t like it. The Service was nice everyone was nice the food was survived very well and Sulyeman was friendly and nice. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

They are new in the area and we were worried when we went but what ana amazing experience we had, our server was Saleh he was very polite and friendly, he got us everything we asked for. Food was tasty, and as someone who been invited to lots of Turkish parties, the food was 100% authentic and to the point.

Great experience for me & my family, got seated right away, elegant spacious dining with modern design and upscale interior. Our server was super helpful, very attentive and explained food options, went with typical classic Turkish dish Iskender kebap (sliced layers of juicy donair (beef) reside on freshly baked thick pita bread used for the bedding topped with hot tomato sauce, we were really impressed with presentation and how fresh was Iskander, tasty and great portions. Despite of being full, we didnt want to leave without trying some Turkish desserts as it was very appealing from both menu and when you walked in saw big trays of baklava. We ordered the green Sarma rolls and full slice of classic baklava with ice cream, both were so tasty combination of crispy & sweet topped with ice cream and pistachios. Phenomenal overall experience at Agha Waterloo, so happy to see more authentic food options opening in the region. Certainly going back with more friends and family.

Keep in mind the restaurant has just opened and lots of the workers are still new so the one star reviews about service is just from people who are rude! Last week, we visited a newly opened Turkish restaurant with great excitement as a family. The welcome at the door was warm, and the service was quick, but the food was a complete disappointment. We ordered döner, skender, and lahmacun. The döner was completely dry and tasteless. The skender sauce had a sour smell, almost as if it was spoiled, and it was utterly flavorless. The pita bread under the skender was stale and hard, as if it had been left over from the day before. The lahmacun was far from delicious, almost inedible. When we heard about this restaurant opening, we were genuinely excited because driving all the way to Mississauga for döner is a long trip. Having a Turkish restaurant nearby felt like a great convenience. Unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations at all. We were also deeply disappointed with the desserts. We ordered two different desserts, but only one arrived. The künefe was cold, and the syrup was watery. We also ordered tea, which never came. When we asked for the bill, the waitress noticed that the tea and desserts hadn t been served, apologized, and said they were very busy. However, this didn t make up for the poor experience we had. We strongly believe this restaurant does not deserve to be labeled as Turkish Cuisine. It is far from representing authentic Turkish flavors. If it continues this way, the sign should be changed to simply Agha Restaurant. Calling it a Turkish restaurant is misleading and unjustified.
