5 Princess St W, Waterloo, ON N2L 2X7, Canada
Offbeat, retro haunt since 1995 with veggie dishes & craft beers, plus DJ'd music & outdoor seating.
Im not a vegetarian but thoroughly enjoyed the food. The antajetos are amazing, "beef" in burrito bowl was flavourful and the vegan cheeses was so gooey and tummy in the quesadila. Vibe is super chil. They have themed nights including Smiths night so a must visit if you are vegan and even if youre not
I don't normally write these because it's never that serious. However, the short, white, male, bartender at this establishment is notably condescending and unfriendly. Based on the reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one who has experienced this. My friends and I showed up at 1am on Friday. Yes, the place was packed, but nobody was ordering up at the bar besides us. I asked for a margarita and this specific bartender said "I won't make that at 1am on a Friday night." Your last call is 2am? There is no queue at the bar? It's a 4 ingredient drink. What is the issue. For several years, I used to love this place. Drinks are a bit pricier compared to other bars on the strip, but the staff is usually great and the atmosphere is good. Unfortunately, this was easily the worst service I've experienced in the KW region. Funny how one patronizing employee can ruin a place.
It comes as no surprise that Mexican restaurants are a vegetarian's best friend due to their customizable options. However, something that's even better is an entirely vegetarian Mexican menu. And that's exactly why I visited Jane Bond (5 Princess St W, Waterloo, ON N2L 2X7). A vegetarian restaurant with live music, this place perfectly captures the Uptown Waterloo vibe, with enough options for any dietary restriction! We started with the classic appetizer - the chips and dip were a delightful treat, with a sizable portion that left us more than satisfied. The salsa and vegan French onion dip complemented the crunchy chips perfectly, so much so that we had to take leftovers home. Next up was the filling entrees! The chimichanga was a delightful surprise, stuffed with beans, veggies, and cheese, and lightly fried for a perfectly crisp, yet not overly oily bite. Paired with flavorful rice, a fresh side salad, and creamy guacamole, the dish was both satisfying and freshly made, leaving us completely full and content. The Munch Wrap Supreme was even better! A cheesy delight, packed with beans, tomato, lettuce, and sour cream, the burrito created a perfect blend of textures. Served alongside freshly made guacamole and homemade salsa, the vibrant mix of flavors made the dish incredibly tasty and satisfying. Fun time with friends. Service can be hit and miss. Some servers are really great and some take a while to get back to you. Food is generally pretty good although a bit on the pricier side. Drinks are usually tasty though! They also have fun theme nights. Tap to pay available.
We visited this spot recently, and loved the vibe! Such a cozy retro feel. Service was great and attentive. I LOVED the Big Mac Much Wrap. Definitely will be back!
My friends and I have come here a couple times, and it’s been a relatively nice time! The food is quite good, and the cocktails as well, making it a good place for yourself and some friends to have some fun. It’s neat and creative atmosphere even on holidays is also really nice to see! The prices are fine as well, however the service could definitely be improved a touch. Still, it hasn’t affected us too badly so we’ve made returns here. It’s a nice place overall, definitely a bit of a warm feel.
Great place for drinks and vegan/vegetarian eats. Food is flavourful and the drinks are delicious. They have an intimate patio in the back and an extended patio at the front of the restaurant for the summer. There is also a DJ on some nights. I ordered the munch wrap supreme and it tasty and very filling.
Great place to hangout for casual food and drinks. They have a hidden patio at the back which is perfect to meet up with a friend or go out as a couple for a drink. I also came here for dinner to try their food. The caesar salad had a sweeter dressing but was delicious. The burger was alright but a bit on the mushy side. I don't think I would order it again but the salad - definitely. Note that most dishes are served with their house tortilla chips as a side. They are simple but tasty.
The smashed black bean burger was yummm
Excellent decor and food. The beer was great too.
The best in Waterloo. Food beer and service .
Always very fun!
Food was great. Colourful lights were pretty cool
Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. I cant speak for the food, we popped in late after seeing a movie for a drink. I can say the cocktails are great and the vibe is cool and unique in the city. Check it out, I shouldve gone there sooner.
Such a cool place to visit, relax, and meet with friends or family, or simply enjoy some great food on your own! Excellent and. Very tasty vegetarian and vegan options.
Super cool vibes.
Delicious food !! Coolest place in town.
First time at Jane Bond and all I can say is WOW!! Amazing service, awesome food and great music!! Worth the drive from Collingwood (especially if you throw in a ride at Hydrocut!).
Jane Bond is the BOMB! If you are vegan or vegetarian or in the Waterloo area looking for awesome food this is the place. Quirky fun vibe, killer food with huge portions and awesome service. Super patio clean loos lol, Jane Bond has it all. If you are riding the Hydrocut it is less than 10 minutes away. Yeah it is awesome.
Vegetarian options: All vegetarian Dietary restrictions: Vegan cheese Food : 5/5 |
The one shorter male bartender(don t know his name)doesn t know his manners. For context, I have been to this bar many times and every single time I have gone, I have tipped(which still shouldn t be expected, but obviously it s respectful.). Multiple times now this guy has been rude to me for 0 reason and last time I went he said to quote Don t serve this guy, he doesn t tip . I had misunderstood him at first and made a joke about him getting sick of me being there (because it was both Friday and Saturday) and he responds with some snarky remark and walks away shaking his head. This guy represents this bar horribly and if this is something that persists customers will be lost. I have NEVER not tipped at this bar, he needs to grow up.
Great vibe, delicious vegetarian foods and great service
Terrific food with vegetarian focus! Atmosphere is dark with colorful lighting and non distracting music.
Sweet little retro spot with delicious vegan comfort food and drinks.
The DJ today is so bad that everyone started leaving
Jane Bond has always been the best place to go for vegetarian dishes and the DJ always spins great beats.
Went out with some friends here. I got a margarita and it was delicious. I also got the chips and dip. You have to pay extra for guac and the onion dip was okay. The guac and salsa were very good and they give you a lot of chips. It was a bit dark and loud but I think that s the vibe. The service was great. The server was very nice and friendly. I sent over $30 on the chips&dip and one drink so it s pretty pricey.
The food here used to be awesome, the past couple of times it lacked flavour, seasoning. The salsa for the chips was more of a cooked tomato sauce than salsa. The falafel burger was bland and mushy. All in all, it wasnt a great meal.
Excellent place if your looking for a place with music, good food and fun atmosphere.
Gotta give it a well deserved 5 stars even if it was based just on the beer alone. Wood Brothers?! Badlands?! Third Moon!? Impossible lineup to beat in K/W, we are new regulars
Great vibes and service, but the food is very bland. Hard to eat.
This is hands down the coolest joint in the loo. Been coming here since I was a wee lad and its only been getting cooler for the last 20 years. Come for the food, stay for the incredible music and company! Food
Lovely interior. Food was all delicious - we ordered the quesadilla, the samosarito and the dessert that day which was raspberru lemon cake. Server was excellent. Will definitely go again!
We always enjoy coming here. Our server was very kind last night. We got the big mac wrap and it was really good :)
Had a cup of orange pekoe brewed in the cup with almond milk. Id have preferred a little tea pot. My partner had a beer. Service was good. Prices are good. The environment is cosy.
bad.
DJ Josh tonight was so awesome! What an eclectic mix of instrumental music, which was mostly nothing Ive ever heard before (with bells and I dont know what)-- but it all worked so well! The music created an upbeat, cool vibe that matched the decor and lights for a great night out. Vegetarian options: Wide variety of delicious and creative options
pretty good sandwich and solid selection of beer (I got the Third Moon IPA)
Nice little bar in downtown waterloo. Would love to go back
Fantastic options of healthy food! Staff are wonderful too. But the washrooms are way too small
We stopped for lunch, it is cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere with great food and very good service. This place is a hidden gem in Uptown Waterloo and a must for your Bucket List. Food
Fantastic food!
fantastic spot, very welcoming and comfortable. truly a gem!
Food was great. Atmosphere was cozy. We felt like our one server was disinterested in our business, the others made up for them. We would return. Vegetarian options: We went for the vegan options, which were fantastic.
Cozy spot but completely bland, uninspiring and flavorless dishes. From what I observed, it seems people dine in for the unique cocktail menu rather than the food.
I had the Mac and cheese... exceptional!
The food here is amazing. Excellent quality, large portions. I highly recommend coming here! The atmosphere is a little dark but they have some fun colourful lights and it s very chill. Excited to go back!
The atmosphere makes up for the food. Both dishes we ordered were tasty but seemed very homemade. I dont think Ill want to get food from here again unless I want the experience of their cool atmosphere :)
Theyve really kept their chill vibe over the years. Was one of the first places like this in KW. The food is also pretty tasty and the staff is pleasant
A wonderful place to visit to eat socialize and drink, so many options and vegan friendly. The drinks are so good, I wanted to try them all. The staff were spectacular! Fast and attentive. I would totally recommend visiting and trying all the food especially the rolls
So happy that we now have options in KW. Yummy and, affordable vegan/ vegetarian food in the heart of the city. Good size portions, excellent service, clean, quaint decor. Absolutely loved it! So did the young adults.
Really unique and fun spot. Excellent selection of craft beers and great music. A must-visit when in the area. Vegetarian options: Most (maybe all) options are vegetarian
the vegan munch wrap supreme is insane
Food was hot, fresh and delicious. I asked the friendly server if the bourbon pear in the Pear and Walnut salad could be replaced with fresh fruit and they did.
Jane Bond is a staple and one of the few truly queer positive bar spaces in Waterloo. I want to thank the staff for handling a situation there last night quickly and effectively. As I was dancing with my friends, a drunk cis-woman started making comments toward our group and I was ultimately called a slur by her husband. She also threw a drink at us. The staff immediately took action and informed her that she and her party would have to go and that there was no tolerance for that kind of behaviour at Jane Bond. The DJ who was closest to us intervened and remained calm while quickly diffusing the situation, even though the group in question continued to escalate the conflict and tried to produce a false narrative. Once again, thank you for your quick and effective intervention because we were all able to get back to having an awesome night quickly!
Amazing food and great service! Will be coming again
I love this place. Greats atmosphere, chill service and amazing drinks. I ve been here many a time for the vegetarian food and I bring everyone who visits from out of town here for drinks. BIG fan, the sweater weather had my .
Absolutely amazing place! Love the decorations, its nice a cozy, great music by a fun DJ, exactly the vibe we needed. The food was fantastic - everything vegetarian with vegan options! I highly support their kitchen haha And Drinks were fantastic too, lots of choice for beers and cocktails. Im more than excited to come back (:
Its alright, customer service medium to bad, the bartender was too busy talking to friends or casuals to the place, and just wanted to rush our order of beers we wanted to take.
Mediocre vegan food, the creme bulee was horrible. The mains were okay but not worth coming back too. Expensive for what you get. Spent 175 on four people. 60 value. Atmosphere was great. Just spend your money elsewhere if your looking for a food experience.
Amazing bar with great staff and some of the best food in town, vegetarian or otherwise. Also happens to have the best beer selection in the city. Go now and don t stop going.
Good atmosphere and service. I had the chimichanga and was a bit disappointed. It was baked and was dry. A aauce would have been great. The guacamole was good. The salad was somewhat watery. My daughter really liked the quesadilla. Margaritas were tasty.
A place where you can be who you are.
Great rotating menu with beers often you cant buy at the LCBO, which is a nice touch. Its always a welcoming atmosphere, the servers and staff are great, and I always look forward to going back. Make sure you try that burrito and samosa creation. Its so good!
Came in with my husband for a late lunch (Saturday April 28th). The place is really nice, unique decoration, an overall interesting space. The menu was interesting, a wide variety of items (something for everyone) and I hear that they change things up often so thats always exciting! The food I got was good, it was missing sour cream or another sauce of some sort on the burrito but I loved the coconut flavor in the beans and the salsa was very yummy. Im a French fry girl so the chips and salsa didnt do much for me (I tried some of my husbands) but thats just my preference, the chips were yummy but Im a potato lover to heart lol. The service was great, the person who served us was nice and was good at introducing the restaurant and specials. I will definitely be back and bringing more of my vegatarian friends.
Best bar in Waterloo
An American 16 oz pint is $10.25. This is Uptown, beers tend to be priced cheaply for students. I guess they upped the price to keep them out. Its a nice venue except that beer price and that they dont sell meat.
Chill atmosphere with great service. The food was fabulous just like the staff! Food
It s a great Vegetarian restaurant, vibe is ok a bit small but in the summer it s nice. They do have patio open. Drinks were ok they have good beer selection.
A chill place with good food and friendly service.
Fantastic vegetarian cuisine and a kitchen that accommodates. From comfort food to the best soup in town, this place is an institution. Ranges from loud to very loud in the later evenings but thats always been part of the charm. Eccentric, fantastic music, brilliantly artsy and loungy, with a touch of funk and class. 4 individual rooms with toilets marked 1-4. No gender. I think they were the first anywhere to do this. Beautiful front and back patio. The back patio even louder because it shares alley with other patios. But its private enough.
Not vegan or vegetarian, and the food was surprisingly good. Cute patio. Service was really good Vegetarian options: All veg options and vegan too
I was really excited to come here for the first time as I had heard so many good things but I was really disappointed with the service. The server was incredibly rude and dismissive which was too bad considering the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The Tofu Chicken Sandwhich was quite bland and soggy and the salsa was very ketchup like but the Antijitos were amazing!! The drinks were good...I would recommend the Pitcher of Sangria for sure. Hopefully other servers are better than the one we had.
Great food and ambience ..service was also very nice Vegetarian options: Vegan options are available Dietary restrictions: Gluten free are available
Great place for the rainbow community. amazing food
still the best... no contest.
Good vibes, good food, good drinks, only problem is its a bit pricey.
Good food and cocktails but getting pricier than before, inflation I guess. High quality and still pleasantly janky.
No other bar in Waterloo has a beer list like Jane. Its the best in the city. The food menu is awesome. Get the antijitos. You wont regret it!
Great food, great friends!!
Always a good time, a bit expensive though so its a once in a while joint for me
An amazing place to hang out with friends! The food is delicious and worth the price; I honestly wasnt expecting the portion sizes we got but I had a hearty meal with the quesadillas that I thoroughly enjoyed! There are some lovely choices for cocktails as well, and I would recommend trying their red sangria! One downside is that the music can be slightly loud at times and especially when its a bit busy, but otherwise the vibe to the place is wonderful!
No good but brinks ulus
Fantastic food and atmosphere! Loved the vegan selections. Would definitely come back here.
Food is average, but the cocktails are amazing!
Great dine-in option for Vegetarians Yes its veg only!!! They have vegan options as well. Location is king street but little inner side which gives little cozy vibes if you choose patio. Inside setting area will make you time travel to 90 s. We ordered 1> Falafal burger (must try) 2> chips and dip 3> Burrito bowl (satisfying to my south asian taste buds) Everything was delicious A little pricey but worth for the ambience. Veggie ppl Give it a try!!!
Cool, retro vibe, good vegetarian menu selections. Need to check the beer list before you go. Theres a lot to choose from and there is no list to see in the restaurant.
Vegetarian with lots of vegan options. Friendly staff. Funky vibe. Great cocktails. Can modify most dishes to be vegan
It wasnt busy but we had to wait a while for a hostess, who was chatting with a friend, to tell us that we could be seated anywhere. We ordered the Big Mac Munch Supreme, which we enjoyed, and the Jacked Up Caesar wrap, which was mostly just lettuce, cheese, dressing, and not much else, so a little disappointing. Portions were reasonable but felt pricey.
Love the vibe, love the vegan shepherd s pie
Good vibes c:
Wanted to like this place but the vibe, the food, and the service were just off. Our server was clearly high and just rude most of the time we were there. When my partner went to the bathroom one of the servers ran into him breaking a glass on him. The food was oily, and just poor quality. Salsa full of raw vegetables isn t salsa. The place is trying to be retro when it simply is outdated and unkept. As someone who is new to the area I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Music Playlist was great as well!
Such a cool vibe! We loved the food, drinks, disco/pop theme, and of course, the vegan offerings.
Love that place. Small, but good beer selection. Amazing atmosphere. Very artsy
Great atmosphere and a hidden gem worth going to. Definitely a spot to hang out and have a few drinks with friends. My only criticism is the food can be over salted and heavy.
A go-to veg joint. Great cocktails, beer, and atmosphere. Great if youre looking for something a little different in the heart of uptown.
The restaurant is really nice inside, beautiful decoration. Great food, all vegetarian and awesome drinks!!
Retro atmosphere and a fun place to be. Live DJ several nights.
50 is $5.75, the staff are super nice and the DJ has good taste in music. I go here all time. The food is exactly what you want. All the yummy pub food flavors but vegan. You wont feel that awful heavy deep fryer malaise. The only issue is that this place isnt closer to my house.
Great food, fast service and fun atmosphere. Found this place accidentally. A very happy accident.
Love this restaurant. Its a great place to go if you are vegetarian or even Vegan. A great selection of craft beer too.
Food was okay. Very bland. Expected more in terms of taste.
Excellent if youre vegetarian, but not entirely sure Id bring my omnivorous friends here. The drinks are FANTASTIC though! Music a little loud after dinner service is over.
Really cute place with a ton of good vegetarian food
Incredible staff, amazing food and beer. Absolutely cant wait to go back
Music was a bit overly loud at night for the size of place, outdoor patio was much quieter
As a general meat eater this place does not leave you disappointed as they do not serve meat. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are super friendly. The food menu has lots of tasty options and they have an awesome selection of beverages.
Best kitschy hipster spot to drink in town. Good selection of beer. DJ nights are great. Food is vegan. I dont eat much vegan food but it looks good.
Quirky and Good. We love this place and have frequented it many times, over the last eight years. The food has been consistently good, with the small caveat that there isnt a ton of choice, and it changes infrequently. It is a vegetarian restaurant, but the food type appeals across the board. The craft beer selection is amazing and changes constantly, and tries to represent all the different styles out there. Occasionally there is entertainment. The patio out back is small by well sheltered. I hope they continue to use the street out front as a second patron, if they close the streets again this year. Sadly, we have moved away from Waterloo, but if we return, we will definitely frequent Jane Bond again.
First time visit. We were three generations so you get the perspective from Gen Z to Baby boomer. Fantastic experience. Definitely recommend. Tried a variety of dishes and from one to the next there was amazing flavour to the taste buds. My favourite was the Jackfruit burger. Generous portions. Everything made fresh. Great presentation and service. Attention given to small details and to the customer. A must try and a must return.
80% of the menu is drinks but the rest 20% is nice. quesadillas and much wrap supreme 10/10
Jack fruit vegetarian burger was very good!!!
There are few vegan-friendly places in Waterloo and Jane Bond came highly recommended. Spacious with a dive-bar vibe. Friendly, accommodating service and large portions. Wraps were okay, the salad was better. Simple, filling, and fast.
Cozy spot
Nice cocktails and good vibes!
Best bar in Waterloo. Great vibes, kinda fruity hehe
The quesadillas were quesadelicious
Great place, nice ambiance and friendly crowd. Highly recommend the back patio, pretty small so its tough to get a table back there at busy times but its very intimate and warm out there.
Nice place for vegetarian / vegan food. We had the dawg bites (aright, not sure what we were expecting), and the fried chickn sandwich (better, but pricey for the quality/flavour IMO). Parking is either on the main King St., or prolly in a nearby paid lot/garage if you can find one on the way.
Ive been here twice now and both times it was great! Fun cocktails, reasonable prices and the food is delicious! Im not vegan or vegetarian but the food is so good it doesnt matter that there isnt any meat!
Delicious food and quick service! The atmosphere is also great and the drink menu is extensive.
The food was awesome and the cocktails were delish! Even the salad was fantastic.
The vibe is queer and I loved every moment of it. We went after kitchen closed. Low key, relaxed and untrammeled by social tropes. Also a really good beer/wine selection. Cute patio and lots of bathrooms.
The atmosphere is eclectic and intimate and the food was delicious! My friend and I had the butternut squash flatbread, butternut squash mac n cheese, and the samosa burrito. Everything was spectacular! 100% going back!
Stumbled across this place while on a recent overnight stay in Waterloo, and Im very glad I did. The food was incredible, the staff was awesome, and the place itself was pretty cool. If I lived nearby, Id probably be back every week. Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian food. Everything on the menu sounded so great, it was really difficult to choose.
Holy. Wow. Yum. Seriously you guys. This is one of the best vegan meals I have ever had. And I cook for a living! Pecan pie was insane. Munch wrap supreme was unbelievable. I don t know what vegan cheese is used but it s melty and tasty like no other I ve ever had. You need to eat here. You need this place in your life!
Great food, cool spot.
Love it. Music is fantastic.
Food took 85 minutes to be dropped off. Salad had virtually no dressing. Quesadilla was mushy. Mashed potato bowl was luke warm when delivered. Server took forever to bring drinks and forgot one. 1/5 except for the antojitos, which were actually good, making it 2/5.
If you want to call ahead, bear in mind that apparently this place doesnt have a phone and youll have to use email or DMs to book a table. Although if you go to their website, they have their phone number posted but NOT their email. The antijitos were delicious, which is the only thing that saved this from 1 star. It took over an hour for appetizers to arrive. The server never brought my beer, which usually isnt a big deal, but when I went to the bar to ask for it the bartender told me Im not your server, and walked away. The place is also in rough shape; one of the toilet seats was broken and wouldnt stay up. Theres lots more I could say, but this is long enough already. I definitely wont be making a return trip.
Went here for a friends birthday and was very disappointed. First off they dont have a working phone so forget about getting in contact quickly email and DMs only what kind of business doesnt have a phone. Second, the service was terrible, forgetting orders we placed, took an hour and half to get our food. Some of the staff was rude. Never going to this place ever again and you shouldnt either. There are a decent number of other places in the area that do the same thing but better. Go those places instead.
Great food with vegan options! Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is awesome.
Vegetarian or not, you should not pass this place up. They have a nice variety of food, and if you get there after 8pm there will likely be live music, either a DJ or musician. The atmosphere can be quite dark at night, so if you arent into that Id recommend going earlier. There is also a good selection of different types of alcoholic drinks to choose from.
Food was amazing and great beer selection
Awesome beers!
Visited for dinner and I really enjoyed their fried tofu nugget dish with mashed potatoes. I initially came for their vegan/vegetarian options, but I also really enjoyed the restaurants ambience. They had Christmas lights, disco balls, and glowing lamps that gave the place at very relaxed atmosphere.
Incredible vegan/veggie food, great cocktails and a really cool vibe. I never get tired of this place and the service as well as price is always fantastic.
Great beer list and tasty meat-free food. Id eat vegetarian more often if more restaurants had as good a menu as Jane Bond does.
Never disappointed in the food. And their beer/cocktail selection is fantastic. One of the better beer offerings in town. Brilliant veggie food
Food was super delicious and building is adorable. Our server was great! We will definitely be back for more of the Dawg Bites.
Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Veggie food wasnt super creative but good for people who prefer just a meat replacement i guess. Drinks were good.
Food here is always great and they have an awesome drink selection as well. Super welcoming atmosphere and an all around gem of a restaurant.
Great modern pub with tasty food and a good selection of craft beer. They carry many interesting beers from top shelf Ontario breweries. As far as price goes their menu is fairly reasonable, as it is not expensive but things are a bit pricier than other student pubs in the area.
Been coming here for a few years, decided to review now cuz the street corn was mind blowing
Updated menu with top shelf results. Great service!
Such a gem. I love eating here when visiting my sister. Delicious food and great craft beer selection. I wish London had a vegetarian spot like this. Amazing vibe.
Love this place. Great menu (veg and vegan) but guarantee even the big meat eaters will love this place. Buffalo chicken quesadilla was delicious. Great beers on tap selection, fantastic cocktail menu and wine list. You will return.
One of the coolest long lasting bars in Waterloo. Great place to grab a drink, with cool vibe and always great music!
Our food was delicious! Parking was tough to find and the music was a bit loud for us. That being said, our waitress turned it down for us. I loved the decor! So fun well be back!
Jane Bond has a special place in our hearts from that teenage angst 90 s early 00 meets 80 s flair Jane Bond is a vibe . Worth a trip uptown for their patio , indoor aesthetic, beers and variety of drinks to cheer up the night and when dancing is happening it s a real treat to let loose. Don t be fooled by the small space off of King st it really makes the vibe all that more appealing keeping the wannabe cool kids on the main strip. This is a place for hanging out with friends , maybe meeting a life long stranger turned BFF or just a place to chill back listen to a live DJ play vibing tunes . oh , their food delcious , vegetarian options. Jane Bond is a great hidden Gem
nice environment, small, 2 patios, relaxed environment and wide range of beer and food. will come again. Decenty priced
I ve come here a few times and every single time I have more than satisfied with the food, drinks and service. They have an amazing selection of drinks, whether it be beers, cocktails or wines! The food is all vegetarian and everything is SOOOO flavourful and fresh! Last but not least, the service has always been EXCELLENT! Even the ambiance here is great, one of my faves.
Great food and atmosphere. Definitely recommend for everyone to go and enjoy.
Great vegetarian food, and really nice drinks. Its a great place to hang out before going to the movie theaters nearby.
Waitress was so sweet but I was pretty disappointed that the chicken burger was just a slab of tofu that was batterer and fried. If I d known that I d likely chose something else. When realistic plant based meat is so readily available now this is just lazy.
The best vegetarian restaurant in town with amazing cocktails, friendly staff, and good vibes all around. Perfect for a date night or catching up with friends!
Such a fun vibe! Colourful string lights and cool vintage posters with cozy tables ang local beers! Good service reasonable prices and tasty snacks
The restaurant was cosy and comfortable, with friendly staff. Ordered the vegan caesar salad and fried chickn sandwich, both of which where very good. We will definitely be coming back for more delicious food!
More than anything, the service was phenomenal. The guy that served us had a great sense of humor and really made the night fun! Food was good, cocktails were delicious. But honestly the waiter/bartender made the night!
Jane Bond is my absolute favourite place in all of KW. I have been going here as long as Ive lived here and I absolutely love it. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service are always fantastic. My husband and I had our first anniversary here and we celebrate it every year. This year we had Mel as our server and she was absolutely amazing. She really went above and beyond. If you havent been here yet and you want some vegetarian comfort food and a great time I highly recommend it!
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic vegetarian food. Cant wait to go back
Good vibes, great place to have a couple drinks and chat with friends! Also the crunch wrap must be good because my fiancee got it and I wasnt able to get a single bite!
