Ordered 5 pizza a week in advance and called to confirm we were assured it was no problem waited 1.5 hours then finally call a different restaurant but most of the people at our party had already gone home I will never go to this restaurant again thanks for destroying our party absolutely hourable

Overall this deserves 2 stars, horrible customer service. The smallest chicken wings I have ever seen!! It was a pathetic sight to see. Overall wish the quality of the food was better.

Ordered over a dozen times through Uber eats I always order the same thing, last time it was cold so decided to order directly this time. My husband picked up and didnt know how much it was supposed to be, nor did they tell me the total over the phone. paid $17 over!!!! Called to correct it and they said they changed the menu but didnt update on their website, I do not see how that should be me paying extra because you put false prices online. On top of that if I would have ordered through Uber I would have gotten the food I ordered plus veggies with my wings and it would have been $5 more, so yes you do still have the special that your claiming you dont have. NEVER AGAIN, need to find a new late night snacking spot.

We went with another couple. 2 of us had burgers, 2 had the fish and chips. All meals were delicious! Lots of great veggie toppings on the burgers. The onion rings were plentiful. The fish was tasty and large portions of it too! Interesting cool beer on tap. Never heard of it before, but it was great. Our server was friendly and personable. She kept coming to check on us. We will go back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Fair prices. Cool staff. We were chilling at the bar listening to her grandpas band play. Some lady came up and tried to start a fight. Next thing we know she grabbed my friends hair. She was completely wasted. The bouncer didnt want to kick her out.

Unfortunately Caesar salad was wilty, wings tiny and not crisp. Ordered nachos which came with lots of chips, very little toppings, no jalapeños were added. Lots of raw white onions. Ordered beef as an extra on them. The beef was in clumps. Looked as if it was just thrown together. Maybe there was an issue in the kitchen that nigh? Paid good $$ Food was terrible. Was brought to their attention and response received was, We will let the kitchen know. I didnt want free food, I wanted an apology. First and last time for us. Terrible customer service!!

My boyfriend and I recently moved to Welland so we decided to try out this place for our first bar night in town. We had a great experience... between the drinks, the music and the bartenders we will absolutely be back!

Friendly staff. We went on a Saturday night when they were busy and still received professional service. Our food was good and came out in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend going to the Kavern for a night out.

First time ordering here. We had it delivered. Food was cold. I ordered a meatball sub that was dry and it had a long hair stuck right in one of the meatballs. It ruined the whole meal. We also ordered a plater for 2 and a small pizza. All cold .

Ordered fish and chips it was a greasy pile of mush and the kid had a clubhouse the chicken and I think maybe ham ? Was like leather she couldn t even chew it and tomatoes looked like you found them in the trash .... you really should be ashamed

One of the few hidden gems in suburban welland. Across the Popos, A quaint little restaurant/bar. Been a lot of renovations done, stripping the old patio for a new patio, new seating, tvs, etc. This place doesnt make the same mistake as the bar that once stood there. Not only have they made the entire place look so much nicer, their food is excellent. This place doesnt need a gimmick or special feature like being on the canal or being a Sports bar with special coasters and a huge wet bar. Just a lovely little place, with amazing service, and equally amazing food.

For Welland, as a local. Its a nice clean spot beautiful during the day, great night scene especially when they take out the patio sets. Amazing burger served here. One of the best in town. Decent fries and sides. One of the nicer establishments in Welland.

With the new ownership it is awesome. I havent went out in a whole decided to join some friends had the best time . Foods always great to.

Me and my girlfriend visited The Kavern for a drink on a Wednesday. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the bartender came right over to introduce herself and take our drink order. She quickly brought over our drinks and sparked a conversation with us. The atmosphere of this place has really changed and it isn t at all what it used to be when it was Bada Bings. Drinks are amazingly priced and so is the food. We unfortunately didn t try any food this time around but we will definitely be back to try the Large pizza and 10 wings for $25. This place deserves the business! PSA: Our server s name was Brianna and she was fantastic! I recommend asking for her if possible.

A delightful semi-retro atmosphere, very wide drink selection, decent menue, patio with adjustable fire places at many tables, and the server was very personable as well as attentive to when we were ready to order and pay. Great spot overall

Ordered nachos from here on skip, cant wrap my head around how mediocre the food was when I recieved my order. Wasnt the only time either. Sat in on another occasion to have a burger and it was also terrible. How this place calls itself a restaurant is beyond me.

took about 10 minutes for anyone to even come to us (restaurant was empty), we asked for a drink menu and she said no , didn t stay at our table for longer than 20 seconds all three times she came to us. our waters never got refilled. not once did we get asked if we needed anything. there were three of us and we got one fork and knife. we had to go up and ask for the bill because we had been done eating for about 20 minutes and she rolled her eyes. sylvia did not slay.

I enjoyed my meal but missed out on what would have been an amazing chicken caesar salad if there wasnt any pork put in it and I never got any chicken in my redo. Otherwise eating outside was nice except for the noisy bikers.

Whent there to have lunch with my daughter. Sat outside for about 15 minutes and know one tended to us. And it wasnt busy.

Was recently at the kavern , and had nothing but a horrible experience. they were serving under age 17 year old girls when I was there. definitely need to get there stuff together- management was very rude as well. Don t go here

This was the worst place I have ever taken my wife and daughter.. service was slow. Food was over cooked . Potatoe skins were dry and hard. Only thing the was good was our 2 cold pops and a glass of ice water. The bartender didnt look old enough to serve or even hold a smart serve or food handling certification. I give this place a failing grade.

Went there tonight for drinks. After we gave an order for two drinks the server went to chat with someone trying to get the fire pit started. That was at least 10 minutes. When she finally went in we patiently waiting for over 15 minutes after ordering and gave up and left. We went to the honest lawyer instead and received fast and friendly service. We wont be back. Its a shame because you have a lovely patio. Sunday night to be precise. It wasnt busy at all or I would understand.

...I ordered two pizzas at 4pm...she told me 30mins..when I got there..she didnt even put the order in..I had to wait an additional 25 mins..for them to make them..VERY UNDERSTAFFED..only 1 person covering all phone ,bar, and dining room orders...

The place looks great such an upgrade from what it used to be ! The staff and owner Mike are great ! They always take care of the people who support them ! I regularly get the pitchers of turbo for take out and when I say they will make any kind you want Im not exaggerating !

Best nachos in town!! I got a hefty tray of the vegetarian nachos for pretty cheap compared to the big guys,;plenty of veggies and perfect amount of cheese on it, and delicious (NON-RUNNY) salsa with it it. Extremely friendly staff who were very thankful for choosing them and for calling to make my takeout order. Happy to support local when I see the smiling faces and genuine thank you from staff!

This place is amazing!!! the staff is super friendly, the food is GREAT and the prices are very reasonable! its hard to find a place like this anymore. I highly reccomend. Im a super picky eater and I cant say one negative thing about the food. Ill be coming back with all my friends! Another bonus: this place is on uber eats if you prefer delivery!

Ordered a meal from skip the dishes that never arrived, the owner then called my number well after the delivery time and told me that he was not willing to serve a poor quality meal. I ended up getting the refunded and really respected the courtesy of the owner.

Love getting these guys for delivering. They usually have the orders ready for pick up right away if not right away then within a few mins. Always polite overall I love picking up their orders.

This is NOT the time to be short staffed! 20 minutes for a drink and 1 hour for cold food! I even watched a server except and drink a shot with a table. No wonder the service is poor.

Went in for a mid day meal n pint. Bud lite was quite skunky maybe just had an issue that day. But the place looked great and the food was banging had wings and deep fried dills. Next time a bottle and it would be a 5* outing

Turbo menu is sick. Prolly dummied two pitchers with my girl. Staff and people are friendly af. The patio is hella chill too. Somebodies moms were dancin just enjoying life, I walk down to the dungeon to hang a pi55 - some dude asked me something so I answered his question - homie was so happy he offered me a bump. I said no thanks but appreciate the offer. Not a fan. The Kavern is the top Eastside bar - just a comfortable place to be yourself and catch a vibe.

We have ordered takeout a few times and everything was awesome. Decided to go sit in for dinner, stood waiting for a few minutes while waiter was sitting at a table. After saying we didnt know what we want to drink she didnt bring a drink menu. It just seemed like an off night maybe and didnt seem interested in serving so we just decided to leave. From all the reviews we hope to try again another time.

Do not order take our from here! I ordered some munchies from here after moving all day, the marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks was actually salsa, my drinks were not delivered with my order but I was charged for them, tried calling the place several times for about 20 min and no answer. Will not order from here again.

Server & manager not wearing masks. The crispy fries and garlic knots were amazing and totally worth the hype! It s just unfortunate that the bar wasn t even trying to follow proper COVID health and safety guidelines. On top of that, our server was very unwelcoming and dismissive towards our party. This place used to be very good, but since new owners I wouldnt suggest it to any1 if your going for a meal. Service is very poor to say the least. seems they are more concerned about the drinkers than the ones that are there for a meal. My family went and not only did they forget our drinks till I had to go remind them after our meal was served. But they couldnt come back even once to check on us and see if we wanted anything else. Dirty dishes just sat there. On top of that the cook we had the other night couldnt even cook a hamburger without burning it. Not the first time our food has come out burn or not fully cooked either. If your looking for a place to just drink and party this might be the place but not so much for families or friends looking for a place to enjoy a meal.

Karaoke here on a Friday night is always a good time. Half decent drink prices too.

I was new here and the owner was super nice and staff as well i enjoyed the food nice needs a little more salt and spices but nothing wrong with adding your own thats the only reason i gave 4 star over all i felt welcomed even though i was picking up from skip. Knowing that the family is welcomed and such amazing people work here from what i have experienced i am going to come back

Dont go to this horrendous place, was parked across the street last night and watched the owners tell some people to leave while they were smoking as they were closing they asked to let them finish their smoke and the owners said no which is fine but then the server grabbed the girl in the group and they started walking away to leave and they pushed her onto the sidewalk then the guy who seemed like the owner kicked her in the ribs and one of the girls kicked her in the face like what professional place would beat someone up as theyre trying to leave. Absolutely terrible to see happen

Just had my first pizza from the Kavern , formerly Bada Bings. The za was awesome My wife and I used to go to Bada Bings often but when the food and service went down hill we found someplace new. Too many young-ins with control of the music, however they did play a few good songs... I love me a dive bar as Ive worked in my fair share of them... this could be on the cusp of a different level given the right management... complete potential... although Im not sure what Id change... I enjoyed the night and atmosphere, cold beers, cold shots, good wings, and all around good time!

Ive only been here once and I will never go back. I love the renovations they did, but the service is very bad. I went there with a friend around 630pm on a friday night, ordered food by 645pm. Our appetizers took over an hour, the waitress brought us double orders because the kitchen made a mistake. Then our meals (we only ordered chicken fingers and fries) took another hour after and the fries were cold and soggy. The chicken fingers were overcooked and dry.

Decided to give this place a shot as ive never been. It was dead which was actually shocking. The lady who helped us that night was great, though since they had no cook at the time i went in, options were limited but got some wings, and i was very glad to see they were nicely cooked, and not overly saucy but just enough. Price was right and i would go back and try something else next time im out and about.
