Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House Welland in Welland

I am so greatful and already have called in to leave a compliment in a world where everyone is quick to call to make complaints you never hear much of any about the compliments or how some workers have gone out of there way. Few weeks ago we decided to try and grab brunch. I say try as my child has mental health issues. It didnt go well and we didnt last long. I had told the lady Id pay for the coffee. She told me not to worry. Her and a younger girl saw my face and my emotions were clearly on it that they swept us to the back and had us leave the back way. They knew we or I didnt want to walk past everyone. Once at back I started crying. She hugged me and said not to worry. They told me to come back and try again and that everything was going to be alright. What they didnt know is that that hug was needed and what they said meant the world. When I called they said the one sounded like the front staff manager. The other girl had a dark pony tail and younger. Thank you so so much. It meant the world.

I ordered 2 breakfast today and the Uber driver for some reason didn t pick it up even though I tipped him , the app just refunded me the order. Stacked called me and delivered the food to me themselves free of charge, it was a very nice thing to do . Thank you again for the act of kindness.

Food was great

Food doesn t have flavour. Potato was dry and seemed as if they were old. I ate only 10% of my meal as it was unappetizing. Server only came to check at the beginning of the meal and at the end just gave a box and dropped off the bill.

How are you going to be waving the Payment Machine in my face when I still got food on my plate, in the middle of chewing and jam on my fingers? I get that youre busy, and other people at my table are finished and ready to pay, thats on them and not my problem. But if Im eating and Im not finished, I aint ready to pay; what if I wanted dessert? I wasnt reaching for my wallet, so whyd you shove a payment machine in my face when Im mid-chew? I dont appreciate being rushed to pay in the middle of my meal. Shouldnt have tipped at all, you guys didnt even have any ketchup on the table without being asked.

DEFINITELY would never go back! Went for my moms 65th Birthday, it was a Monday around 11am. Terrible food/ service. No exaggeration...worst poutine Ive ever had. Processed, shredded cheese was so cold not one shred melted..... cold to touch/hard. Unseasoned half frozen fries. My dad has celiac disease, the menu said one item was okay, waitress said no the menu isnt right... waitress suggested eggs are the only item but no homefries because of cross contamination, so he said just eggs are okay, she then brings eggs covered with home fries. ( which he cant eat as she said). left a 20% tip (although Service was bad) , said thank you, and left.

I get youre busy on a Sunday morning, but the need to literally rush us through our birthday breakfast left a bad taste in my mouth. Yikes. Didnt check on us once to see how we were doing, didnt refill our drinks, watched us from their station to give us our bill as soon as we took the last bites of our food. Wow.

We had a bit of a wait busy place. Service was a bit slow. Ordered a smoothie for grandson and it had tinfoil bits in it. They gave us a chocolate milk. First time visit not great. Sorry we usually go to Burlington they are amazing.

Good breakfast special with two eggs, meat choice, toast and home fries. Special extra lower price from 7am to 9am but served till 3pm which is closing time.

Each time Ive ordered from here my food is not cooked even after specifically requesting well done and crispy. Ive sent it back several times for runny eggs and today is was absolutely horrible. I ordered a BLT and they forgot to put a tomato on it.. How does that even happen.. and the home fries which were supposed to be well done were raw and barely warm. The crispy bacon was not even fully cooked.. Sad because it could be a great place.

Stacked has become my regular weekend, breakfast location, but today I was absolutely disgusted, hurt and completely speechless on how the manager/Supervisor (LORI) treated her employees today. I was seated in a booth next to LORI and as I m waiting for my waitress to arrive for my order, she had her face in her phone as well as yelling at her employees that were trying to do their tasks. One employee approached her in regards to needing a personal day and LORI was absolutely unprofessional by raising her voice in her face and telling her to get out of the booth and leave. She was making a big scene and everyone was watching how she was treating her employee. My absolute favourite waitress was also verbally attacked by LORI . This completely broke my heart to see how much that had affected her afterwards. She was very professional and decided to take a two minutes break to regain her emotions and breath before continuing serving her customers. In addition, it was also observed how some of these employees were affected due to the food service of plates being dropped on the floor or on the customers table and had to be remained. After I had paid my bill and headed out to the exit, I approached these two amazing waitresses that were verbally attacked and gave them a big hug with some words of appreciation and to not let this ruin the rest of their day and to keep their head high with a beautiful smile! I will continue my weekly breakfast visit to see their beautiful faces, but once again no employee should be treated so poorly as seen today and I am absolutely unsatisfied with LORI

The ladies at Stacked are just amazing! It is always busy and wild here but they care for their customers so well. We always go in with our 5 kids and they pay attention to our needs and provide the attention and genuine care for our family. We love the attention to detail and are grateful there are places that still care for families. Keep up the great service and of course amazing food. Thank you!!

Delicious and great service

Just had to drop a line about the amazing service we always get from Petra. She seems to handle more tables than I can fathom, and yet she lets us feel like we re her only table. I find that to be an incredible skill. Thank you Petra for being awesome!

Had a great breakfast of sausage and eggs. Coffee was very good. I like eating at stacked because you always get good friendly service and never feel rushed.

We were welcomed and seated immediately at 8:00 am on a weekday. The service was fantastic, the food plentiful and delicious, and the atmosphere upbeat. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were yummy and very flavorful, and the bacon, mushroom and cheese omelette was phenomenal. Coffee was great and our cups were refilled throughout the meal. Stacked is a place that well be returning to, and it gets 5 stars for the whole experience. Would definitely recommend.

Restaurant was dirty, food, crayons, creamers etc under all the tables. Booths not wiped, even the ones where you could tell they wiped the table. There was food stuck to the walls in our booth. They were filling the sweetener caddies with a full bag of sweetner on a dirty table. Creamers had hair on them and left over food from the tables before. Just gross. Warning: If you cant eat sugar dont order the Mango Spritzer they are made with 7up not soda water like its supposed to be made, had to request it to be removed from by bill after I said after a sip I cannot drink this it has too much sugar in it, I even tried to just get another one without the 7up, no dice. When the server accused me drinking half and that she was not going to remove it from my bill (which I had not drank even close to half!). I had to then escalate to the Manager which I explained the entire encounter and she removed it from my bill thankfully. Service was slow, 3 servers or 2 and the manager and 4 tables. Waited on condiments I ordered with my meal, waited on a different drink after I said I cannot drink this which I had to go up an ask for in the first place. Ruben sandwich was great but dont get the add-on ceasar salad its finely julianned Romain (which had a lot of brown pieces, I didnt eat) with a little bit of salad and a pinch of Parmesan for $4 extra dollars. They also over cooked the bacon, brought other bacon on a steaming hot plate that we burnt our hands on. I am utterly disappointed with my experience at this location. I have never had an issue with the Stoney Creek location. I honestly thought corporate restaurants (that are run by the franchise), were held to better standards!

My husband asked for OVER medium eggs. He got not over eggs but cold eggs and soft. The jam was like soup. The waitress was nice but didnt offer anything off of our breakfast. Wont b back. Should be the cheapest meal of the day and cost us $28 for bacon and eggs. Then you add a tip!!! We didnt get a second cup of coffee

We are new to the area and went based on our past experience at their Mississauga location which we thoroughly enjoyed. However we ordered the crepes on our first visit and they did not meet our liking the batter was different it lacks flavor and the texture was off. The next day we tried again and ordered the pancakes I am not sure who is in charge of making the batter but it was very bland, not fluffy and again lacked flavor, seems as they are just adding water and giving up on making the food enjoyable for their customers on this day we told our waitress that it was not made well and we wanted something else she understood and went to speak to the kitchen. She then came back and said her manager said she will not make my husband request for an alternative or compensate the fact that the pancakes were not enjoyable and we will have to pay for the bland food. Frustrated we sent the food back and he was not able to enjoy our breakfast. Our server was very polite and did not understand why this was the way the problem was being handled. The manager did not come over to our table to discuss anything or hear our comments on what we were unhappy with she simply avoided having to deal with us by having or server explain her personal perspective on our experience at her stores location. I have worked in the service industry for many years and I felt that this approach was very unprofessional and dismissive we will NOT be returning to this location due to this interaction.

What incredible value and freshness. My dad and I both ordered the Pancake Stack and were absolutely impressed with the price, taste, and amount of food served. Definitely the best value for breakfast I ve had in decades. I wish the coffee was a little stronger, my dad drinks it black and found it weak but the food more than makes up for it. The pancakes were incredible. Never had such a fluffy yet filling pancake even at home. Keep doing what you re doing!

We always do take out breakfasts. While a bit pricey, you get a ton of great food, no need for lunch afterwards.

Went out for a breakfast date with the wife. Sarah was our waitress and was absolutely fantastic. She was kind and attentive and our food was ready in less than 8 minutes. Understandably, this place does have a wait-list to enter on Sunday mornings. Waited 9 minutes, totally worth it. Lastly, my personal favourite is the pancake stacked. 15$ and I always get more food than I can manage. bringing this home to finish later. Thank you Sarah! Wonderful service.

Food arrived hot and staff were very kind. We were a busload so the staff were busy but ready to stop and answer questions. Very enjoyable.

Came from 4.5 hours away to spend time visiting friends. A few of them came into town to meet me for breakfast. My meal came 5 minutes after the other 3 orders. Just because you dropped our bill on the table didn t mean we were finished. You came back to get the bill paid but my friend didn t get her money out because we were in a conversation. She told you to come back. When the bill got paid because it appeared that it couldn t wait for us to finish. I still had a half cup of tea and at almost $3 for it, I would have appreciated finishing it, finishing the conversation with my friends (we re all from outside welland) before we were asked to leave because people were waiting. People including myself have waited ever since the place opened. If you go expecting not to wait then you re at the wrong place. But being told that we need to leave because people were waiting. The food was good, our serve was good, the blonde that rudely not politely came to talk to us basically said she wanted us to leave. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant before let alone before I was finished my meal beverage. Needless to say after that experience we won t be back. Not a great way to treat people especially from out of town, especially from 4.5 hours away. Not like we were being obnoxious we were catching up and eating. Next time I decide to meet friends I will definitely find another place that won t be so rude. Just because you re successful doesn t give you the right to treat paying customers like you did. I ll be sure to tell everyone I can about my trip to town for breakfast and got asked to leave before I was done because my table was needed by someone else more than myself. You were my go to restaurant when I came to town even going alone at times. Never again.
