I ordered from doordash and received the wrong order, I phoned Popeyes and they said not their fault but it was the driver...I got a hold of the driver and she said its not her fault but that Popeyes gave her the wrong order... so $24 later and the food by the way was not worth $24 all I got was the name blame game with no resolution in site...will never order again which is a shame because I used to like the store...very disappointed

These idiots messed up our order left out the Mac cheese and gravy. It s my kids birthday party. Ok that s understandable but when I called the store the passed me to the manager. This woman could not speak English. She told me I was wrong and she packed the order. Well let me tell you we are not wrong. We have no Mac and cheese or gravy which my kids love. She told me to call door dash. We ordered off the app. This woman then hung up on me. Never ordering Popeyes again. Good work!

Best restaurant in Welland and popular restaurant in Canada

Overall, one of the best popeyes I ve been too. I moved down to Welland about a year and a half ago, and this place has never disappointed. Food is always ready within 5-10 minutes, sometimes instantly and never have to wait in line! Workers are friendly, and whenever the ice is out and I ask if they could refill it, they are always quick and helpful. This is easily one of the best popeyes in all of Niagara!

The food was good. The staff was great and the atmosphere was nice.

I was inconvenienced because I was missing a portion of my order but the restaurant made up for it.

Never got to order. Went to bathroom to wash my hands and it looked like the previous person decided to use rim and floor instead of bowl. EDIT. 4 days later and still awaiting a callback from the Franchisee promises by their online customer support. Hope they cleaned their bathroom faster than that. Needless to say Popeyes and their parent company and associated brands and all fast food outlets have lost my business due to their lack of concern for the customer.

It was a bit slowly, we were waiting for a while(considering that it was late and we were the only clients). The bugrers were so tasty, a little bit greasy though, but the piece of chicken was so huge. One of my favorite burgers so far. It was my first experience with Popeyes, I will definately come back. I also got mashed potatoes with gravy and french fries, both were tasty as well. One of the few fast food places where the picture on the billboard looks exactly like the food you get

The food was very good but the service was not. Waited half an hour from arrival to order take out only to have the staff all speak in a different language while looking at me from the back upset after I corrected the order. It was ordered correctly but prepared wrong because the cashier put a note that confused the kitchen. Thats not my fault. Made for a very uncomfortable wait having people talking about you its obvious with the English words my order interspersed in there and the literal upset eye contact. Wheelchair accessibility: The front door wheelchair accessibility did not work when I tried to use the button so it was more difficult to get inside, either broken or turned off ? (disabled individual here)

The food was great! Ordered a combo but wasnt given my drink cup. Menu is a little tough to understand, so I started thinking I wasnt supposed to get one. Then I checked the receipt, and I was supposed to get one. Had to go back in for it.

We are from out of town..a group of 5..ordered online... $110 dollar order..when we reveived the order we were missing items..and no utensils to eat with. This location always runs out of hot food items. Poorly ran In regards to properly ordering what people order the most of. Chicken fingers, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, etc. Good food when they have it.

Well the manager arsh was nice enough to refund me my money so all is well that ends well. Good manager. You are only as good as your last sale. This was one of the best popeyes I came across but man they have been getting from bad to worst. The spicy chicken is dried out and ugly and tasteless. The beans and rice one of my favorite there was like they threw a gallon of water on it. This was a horrible experience. Its like eating food fit for the hogs. Terrible Terrible Terrible.

Poor experience this time. I visited with my son today. We purchased separately with me going first. I ordered chicken nuggets and my son ordered a spicy chicken wrap. The person taking our order knew we were together. My sons order was completed quickly and they served him. Mine.... They had to cook new nuggets and fries. It took almost 15 mins to get my order. By then my sons wrap was cold. They should have timed everything so we got our food together but they didnt.

Often this place is fairly good. We usually order it on skipthedishes. Today I picked it up in person for takeout because I was already out, and they messed up my order. This isnt the first time they messed up the order. The portion sizes are often small for the price you pay. Occasionally they give a lot of fries as good portions, but that may be 25% of the time that we order. It wasnt even all that busy when I went. I went around 11:30am, so it was before the lunch rush since there was only me and two other people ordering at that time. They used to give out bottled drinks as part of the combo meals but they even cut back on those to give watered down fountain drinks instead. Maybe once in a while its okay to go here, for a meal thats almost $20, otherwise, there might be some better options on Niagara st in Welland.

Great experience. Chicken was made to order, so had to wait a bit bit. It was well worth the wait as the chicken was hit and juicy.

Love their chicken strips. My sister and I often go when we have a 2 for offer. Last few times we went, the options were pretty limited though. Out of specific things, namely the dipping sauces (there was 3 options for choice including tarter not really much of a pairing for chicken as much as fish in my opinion) and drinks. Hopefully this is just a limited time issue, and they ll have more of an option at this location soon.

This is unacceptable the stroe is not cleaned properly the workers are not hygiene at all that is very disgusting I saw one of the workers dropped a biscuit and put it back to the box and they thought no one saw it and last time I ordered Chicken Pieces the chicken was not fresh at all my chicken was not cooked properly at all one of the worst places and I want the manager/assistant manager and the owner to please know this and change this ASAP!! Never had a bad experience at a Popeyes, but this location had to be the best of the best out of the few visits Ive had with this franchise. I always get served with fresh and hot chicken. Despite their chicken being fried, it wasnt dripping in oil. I would have believed them if they said it was oven baked! The chicken was cooked perfectly, it practically melted when I took a bite because of how juicy it was; it wasnt an oily juicy either, straight up perfect! This location has it down pat and I hope the other ones try to match this quality!

On multiple occasions this locations has been out of chicken tenders. In addition, there s inconsistencies with flavour, I ve had exceptionally salty chicken tenders, and exceptionally bland tenders. At the end of the day, if you expect your customers to overlook the fact that you have no drive through, give them decent and consistent service. I won t be returning to this location.

The daytime staff at the Niagara Street location. I go two to three times a week and constantly have fantastic service from the daytime crew. They are friendly andknowledgeable. theres a female daytime manager that takes really good care of me and trains her crew to do the same. Thank you Popeyes Food

Ive loved Popeyes Welland location in the past. My experience today was terrible. Service was fast and accurate but the chicken was terrible . I ordered 2 signature platters, one classic one spicy. Ive never experienced bad chicken here before. Both dinners the chicken way over done. The Popeye chicken taste was not there. Seemed like the recipe had been changed. No more for us !

Be careful. Husband had chicken. You could smell the chicken had gone off. Staff didnt seem worried at all about cross contamination. Now we see if he ends up with serious food poisoning!

The parking lot is a slight inconvenience, but overall decent service and quality of food.

There are far better popeyes out there. This has got to be one of the worse locations ive ever be too. The portions given from the sizes of chicken, or any of the sides has to be the smallest amount ive experienced from any fast food restaurant, making it not even close to worth your money. The popcorn shrimp at this location I dont even know what it is, definately makes you feel sick though (that portion is also next too nothing). The chicken burger I had recieved, the chicken was also undercooked. I would recommend popeyes to anyone anyday... just not this location. Ive made the mistake twice.

I gave this location 5 star earlier but I had to change it because we had issue with this location twice. There customer service is not that great and they always miss something in order. We recently placed our order online and when we came back home our sandwich was missing and rest of the food was not cooked properly.

This location was my go to about 6 months ago when I first moved to the area....it was close and the chicken was ok............BUT Yesterday March 19th, 2022, I went to order a family 8pcs with fries & I added a large coleslaw=$40.00 plus.....when I got home I noticed most of the chicken pieces was significantly smaller like bit size with a couple drum sticks & only 2pcs were the normal size thighs....I contacted the store, thinking it was a mistake, a female staff answered, I believe she was the same person who took my order but failed to advise of the HUGE change in chicken piece size. I inquired on the phone if it was an error & she said no, she also said shes not the one who made the changes to the size of the children, it was the company. After reminding her I just paid $40 for bit size chicken pices, she hung up the phone ..I tried to call back bcuz I thought it might have been an accident, but each time it kept going to the machine , so I believe it was done on purpose. This is one of the WORSE customer service experience I have had in a really long time...i feel I was decieved..I will NOT RECOMMEND bcuz when they mess up or make changes they fail to advise & you will NEVER get a favorable resolution after the fact..read other reviews that will confirm.....its all in the companys best interest to MAKE A PROFIT ON THE BACKS OF THEIR CUSTOMERS HARD EARNED MONEY, REGARDLESS THE COST TO THE CUSTOMER....If I ever return i will ensure to look at my order b4 I leave.....I advise anyone reading this to do so b4 U leave & correct THEIR MISTAKE immediately....if not demand a refund of YOUR MONEY....

Myself and my family really like Popeyes as a fast food option. The chicken is very tasty and the burgers, tenders, and nuggets are all real pieces of chicken breast, not processed like the others. I prefer the chicken pieces and they are much larger and tastier than the competition. The sides are all good quality too. Service is always friendly and prompt.

I went in to order and the woman supervisor was yelling at a worker and telling her to go home. The worker was trying to explain that she was on the schedule but the supervisor just told her she was fired and to leave. Needless to say, I walked out without ordering

I came at 7:00 PM Thursday night to pick up a delivery at the exact time of collect as it shown on the app. and when I was told it s not ready and needs more 6 minutes I was showed upset face without saying a word. One of the night shift ladies started saying stay calm and be polite and stuff like that with no reason and started asking me leave the store. I asked to talk to the manager she said she is the manager and was very rode accusing me that I was not polite.she was disrespecting me in front of all customers.

Employees don t wear a mask when customers are not in the store, the cook handles food without a mask, The store has several violations with health Canada which you can find on their website these complaints are in regards to storage of utensils and also a violation for improper freezer temperature
