Ok place. Little expensive. Constantly bothered by staff on a day i would of liked to be left alone and not interested in small talk.

Danielle was our waitress and she was FANTASTIC! Super friendly, explained the menu and was very tentative to our table. Our First time here and she made the experience a special one. Will definitely be back!!

Attended Christmas party in a side room. Busy Friday night but service was prompt and attentive. The vibe is fun pub and it was decorated for the holidays. I was a little disappointed in the smothered strip steak. The topping was tasty but the steak was overdone and has a lot of gristle. Perhaps my error in ordering as others enjoyed their t-bone steaks. Servers were great about keeping tables clean and refreshing drinks. Overall, I enjoy MT Bellies, have been numerous times, and would return.

We went to MTBellies at about 9pm on Saturday night as a party of 8. The food was great but Tim our server was fantastic!

If I could give 10 stars I would! From start to finish, our experience here was fantastic. There is not even one criticism I could give. From the moment we stepped in the restaurant - we were greeted with such enthusiasm and kindness. Our server was so kind and gentle with our 17m rambunctious old. The food was absolutely delicious! I believe the manager was walking around and attentively asking how everyones meal is and was just so kind to us. The server came around multiple times to make sure we were okay. On our way out - again I believe the manager, opened both doors for us. We have never been to a restaurant where we were met with such hospitality on the next level! We will always pick this restaurant from now on as our go-to! Thank you for the hospitality

One of the best and most classic restaurants Welland has! We always find ourselves coming back here. Had the spicy bacon mac and cheese last time we were there. It is so good! Highly recommend. Definitely will be back around soon for more!

We had the meatloaf and it was delicious! Our grandson had the chicken parm and it was really good too! Our waitress was so sweet and friendly which makes a huge difference!

Shittiest stake I ve ever had. Way too much fat on the steak and tasted awful. Food was served cold and didn t taste good at all. Definitely not recommend for what the price of everything is. Only thing that was good was beer.

This is one of our local spots and we love it here! It is family friendly, but also a great place to go on a date and with your girls for a night out! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed! If youre in town and looking to have a good dinner at a safe location, this is a good spot. The menu is a bit more esoteric than pub food, so theres some interesting dishes to try.

We came here as a group of 5 for dinner, everything smelled so good the atmosphere was great. The cauliflower wings as an appetizer were amazing the sauce was perfectly tangy with a slight kick. I loved it. Sadly my main, the pickerel tacos were a let down. They were meh, nothing special something I could easily make at home and the fish was hard to distinguish from the other toppings in the taco. Two of the boys got the chicken fingers and one with fries and one with poutine, they said it was also underwhelming, my son actually only ate the fries and brought home the chicken. The 2 others in our party got the BBQ platter with ribs and sides, they were not overly impressed with it either unfortunately it looked so promising.

7 of us had dinner on a Saturday night. We had made reservations and were seated promptly. Our server was prompt and helpful. The menu is extensive (although limited in options for vegetarians). I had the Yaki Udon and other patrons had the meatloaf (which was massive), butter chicken, fish tacos, fish and chips and poke bowl. Everyone enjoyed the meals and the servings were perfect for our appetites. The restaurant itself was quite full but didnt seem too loud. Solid choice if youre looking for a restaurant in Welland.

My food experience here is amazing. The food is always tasty and comes out hot every time. The staff here is great and attentive. However, I will say that at my last visit I was served by Darcy and it was a nightmare. She is not attentive and very sarcastic. She ruined my whole evening with my guests. Next time I go I will ensure she is not my server

We really enjoyed the service and chatting with Danielle. She did a great job and was extremely helpful and friendly. She talked about Canada and Ontario and we really felt at home there. We really wish we had an MT Bellies in Maryland!

Our group came from Windsor this morning. Had no idea where to go but seen the amount of people that were going in so we decided to check it out. Best decision ever!! Shoutout to Jess who was our waitress. So personable, took the time to sit for 30 seconds and have a good laugh while we were waiting for our food. Shoutout to Ashley for playing along with our little game. The food is amazing and the atmosphere was fun. Will def come back here next time in Welland. Id rate yall 10 stars if I could. The staff are absolutely incredible, have amazing charisma, and all so down to earth. Jessica, thank you for being such a fabulous and sweet hostess to our hungry office staff. We came up on a business weekend trip from Windsor and you served us like a good friend we hadnt seen a long time. Your kindness and sense of humour joined right in with our conversation and jokes, with so much laughter to share. Thank you for taking the time to connect with us like we were your only table, despite you were all so busy tonight! Know youre incredible-keep shining! Ashley came in to serve us our bill and take payment, also joining our tables jokes and conversation. Thank you also for connecting with us. The host who sang the birthday song for another table, I think he made it up on the spot, was hilarious and also took his time to connect in conversation and laughter with his table. And then wished us a friendly good night without being his table. This place is awesome, with amazing people and great food...recommend 100/10!

Okay food, service was slow. Took an extreme amount of time to get our bill after asking a few times. Front door staff were rude and not friendly.

Our family of 8 travelled to Welland for a family Wedding and choose to eat at MT Bellies. We were not disappointed. We did not have a reservation but they quickly seated us all together. Tim was our waiter and he was over the top wonderful and funny. We were amazed that the restaurant went above and beyond with my husbands food allergies(celiac), making sure that he was well looked after. definitely a five star restaurant. Dietary restrictions: they cater to people with gluten free / celiac issues

Ill be honest. You get what you would expect for this kind of establishment. Not amazing but also not terrible, everything was okay. Although I must say the staff was very interactive and engaging, not to mention the balloon artist they have for birthdays on Fridays is very talented! He was able to make anything from frogs to Pokemon. All in all, I would rate this establishment a 3/5, they have room to grow but for now, they are a nice place to go and eat if you are looking for a family outing.

Manager made us sit in the corner of the bar because we had 3 well behaved children and the 3 tables in the dinning area made it too full. The food, please use salt and pepper at a minimum. The steak wraps were garbage. Zero flavor. Chicken fingers were cooked for 25 mins too long. Drinks were empty for 75% of the visit and because hidden in the corner of the bar, no service.

I had the chicken, brie and fig sandwich which was a treat all on its own. Wait staff were friendly and as attentive as they could be in the middle of an unexpected rush. It was a louder environment than I typically like, but definitely family friendly.

Staff were very attentive and friendly even with us arriving an hour before closing. Excellent service. I got the pulled pork sandwich which I did not find very good. My friend got a brisket sandwich which he let me try and again it wasnt that good.

The baby shower was amazing. Our servers, Ian and Rachel were absolutely amazing. They were very tentative to our guests as well as extremely pleasant to deal with. My daughter (mommy to be), had a special request for the cauliflower bites, and without hesitation her request was fulfilled. Everybody raved about the food, there was hardly anything left even after a second round came out. Please thank the kitchen staff for the delicious food and for being so quick on getting everything out to us. The men on the bar side had a great time as well, they had delicious food and a wonderful server, Jess P. Everyone at M.T. Bellies helped make my daughters baby shower an amazing one!! Thank you :) And thank you to Justin for helping me set everything up and for accommodating all of my requests.

Tried this place for the first time today, so many options of cocktails to choose from that sounded great. the peaches and cream colada and my quesadilla were delicious. The staff are lovely and our server Rachel was very helpful as well! We will definitely be back:)

MT Bellies left us with empty bellies. Our experience was absolutely horrible. It took 30+ minutes to get our food and the server didn t even check in on us once during that time to refill drinks, explain the delay, etc. When our food finally arrived it was awful. My husband got grisly, shoe-leather ribs that he could not even eat he rarely complains but he did. All I got was soup and a salad. Why these two simple items took forever is beyond me! The lack of attention from the waitstaff and the extreme food delay mixed with poor food quality for the price left such a bad taste in our mouths. They offered to give my husband some wings to go. Let s hope they are edible after all that. Not a good experience for us at all :-(

We went on Sunday evening around 6pm. I didnt get the waiters name but he was absolutely fabulous! (Was wearing a mask of that helps to figure out). Suuuuper personality! Food was awesome!

2 of us walked in at 4pm on a Tueaday and was told by the hostess they were not seating the restaurant side due to no servers being staffed on slow nights. Even though the entire bar side was full. The only available option was a 6 person hightop. We left without eating.

I ordered the lunch special Korean Pork Belly Slider on May 27, as seen in their website coming with 2 separated buns, a decent portion of salad on the side and looking really appealing however when it actually came it was disappointing with only one bun and a thin piece of pork belly. Barely look anything like the picture that they put on the website. False advertisement! Our server was really nice though but the food was not worth the money.

Went here before the jackfish game Thursday to grab a couple pondwaters and some food. Found out they dont have pondwater even though they are supposed to be the official pregame spot? Yet you dont have the official jackfish beer? Makes no sense but whatever. Had to settle for that new Madri beer they have since I hadnt tried it yet. Terrible. Food was meh. Wont be back.

Over the 20+ years I have been visiting, I know that they change their decor and menu from time to time. Its a nice surprise when you go in after a few years, but its always nice to keep some favorites. This time around I found the menu a bit scarce !

Asked if chicken tenders were homemade..server said oh yes...they came out..definitely not fresh made..thin pieces of dried out cardboard...was with friends and they even asked about them..I just ate what I could of the inside of crust. Anyway..dissapointed and wanted to tell you..salad was edible..

M. T. Bellies is always amazing. They made me a fantastic meal that matched my diet a stir fry on a base of cauliflower with a specially made sauce just for me. Being on the ketogenic diet it limits a lot of things that I can eat but they were great about it. Couldnt ask for a better meal or service. Haven t been to MT in a long while but it was excellent. Jeremy our waiter was great and the food did not disappoint. We had the fish and chips which was excellent. Nice crispy,thin batter on fish and the chicken & gnocchi and it was delicious! Everything was great! Will definitely go back again!

Went here for Mothers Day dinner on the Saturday before Mothers Day with my son and his girlfriend. We had a reservation but were running late- I was very happy that they were still able to seat us. I had tried to call the restaurant and respond to the online booking system to let them know of our late arrival. Our server was fantabulous, Tim. Cant say enough about his exuberant personality, friendly & helpful. I had the tuna poke bowl overspring mix and it was SO tasty. My son had the Butter chicken and his girlfriend the Parmesan crusted chicken gnocchi. Both were enjoyed.

Wife and I stopped by for lunch today. Honestly havent been to M. T. Bellies in over 20 years. Fantastic food, impressive portions, descent pricing for what you get. But without a great server the above means nothing. Thankfully we had Cindy, who was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, great suggestions. Well be back soon! Entry ways, fire escapes and washrooms are all accessible. PS. Bring back the Belly Buster!!!!

This was terrible terrible service food came around 1 hour late with our boys basketball tournament they all got cramps right before the game and almost fainted due to the inconvenience of this terrible place never coming back and never recommending this place to anyone.

We popped in on a Saturday night scheduled to see a movie at 7. We had to wait for a table not too long but when seated our drinks came quickly. The food took a lot longer. The waiter apologized. When the food came it was fantastic. We had to ask someone else for our bill so we could make the show. Everyone was super friendly. I just think the kitchen couldnt keep up. Not enough to lower their rating but made me anxious I would be late for my movie.

Soooo awesome! We went for my nieces birthday and it was a great idea, my niece can be quite shy and our server Tim was so awesome, she brought her stuffed unicorn and he spent time and got her to engage with him by using Cotton Candy the Unicorn and by the time we left she was actually interacting with him herself! He was so friendly, and entertaining, making jokes and just being an all around pleasure to everyone, I would say probably the best server I have ever met!!! The food and drinks were soo good and were very nice size portions, I normally have no problem finishing all my food but I actually had to take some home! Prices were also awesome especially for the quality of both the staff and the food!!! The atmosphere was both cozy but still lively, and I loved the MTB statue in the front entrance! Also all the staff members were so kind and even with each other which was really nice too see, everyone actually seemed genuinely happy! Definitely a place to try if you havent yet! :) Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu but they arent restricted to it and you can substitute for other things, my nephew wanted poutine with his chicken strips instead of any of the other sides and they were super happy to change it around for him! :)

Wish we had an M.T. Bellies in my home town. All the staff were welcoming and friendly (Tim gets extra points), and the food was great. They have a good selection of gluten free meals and can accommodate other allergies too. The menu has good variety, so there really is something for everyone. I understand that all (or most) of their ingredients are bought locally and the meals are home made. Dietary restrictions: The have a deep fryer specifically for gluten free! so many exquisite menu options, the vibes give off small town rural ranch (not in a bad way! it s super aesthetic, cute and inviting) but the food gives fancy with all the thought and effort that s clearly put into every dish. and they will work with you on substitutions if you have an allergen (great place for celiacs too). fun for families, dates and birthdays (yes they sang, and very well). most pre prepared table i ve ever sat down at btw too (water was already waiting for me) our parties waiter, tim, was extra friendly and helpful ontop of his expected duties as a waiter. all and all a really lovely establishment to have dinner at.

We ordered the philli steak wrap , nachos, kids fingers and burger. All were great except the nachos, portion was small compared to the price. My steak wrap was very good.

On par for bar foods. We were seated in the bar section, which was quite loud. We had an 11 yr old with us listening to the explicit conversations around our table. We will know next time to ask for more age appropriate seating.

Stopped in for Valentines without a reservation, crazy busy & they had us seated in under 30 mins. Had the parm crusted chicken w/gnocchi in an amazing garlic cream sauce. Service & Food was great! Kid-friendliness: There were several families with kids, its a pretty relaxed atmosphere.
