Hadn't eaten from here in about 4 years and it was always good in the past with friendly service but tonight... I ordered double cheese and not even the entire pizza was covered. It was like 1/2 cheese. Also the crust used to be thinner but tonight it was SUPER poofy and bready. The flavours were still good I just wish I would have got the toppings i paid extra for. Chicken wings were good and just as I remembered.

Wow! First time ordering pizza. Gorgeous. Nice thin crust and nice and crunchy! Not short on toppings(bacon,mushroom,pepperoni)nice tomato sauce, fresh tasting. Loved it. Will be trying alot more from this little gem. Thanks Mario! You've made some new loyal customers!

Have had his pizza a couple times and enjoyed it. Last night we bought a jar of pasta sauce and meat balls. There seem like turkey? Very good though I love the sauce. And ower is super friendly
We were in Welland visiting family and had asked about a good pizza place... Mario's Place was strongly recommended. It is a family run, take out pizza place. Great suace, flavour, and topping selections. Right down to the topping arrangement being carefully made. Artisan talent and experience. Definitely recommend.

great pizza. Have tried many in Welland. Number one in my opinion.
Ive eaten here about 20 times. The food is good. That being said, its torture trying to find their current menu on-line. I learned how to work around that, but had I not been vigilant in wanting that pizza that night lol, I never wouldve been able to easily place an order. When I brought it up to the owner, after fussing at least 3 times to order, he said they are not computer friendly and have no intention of hiring anyone to fix their website. He stated his regular customers were enough and he makes no money from the website. So, to anyone wanting Marios for dinner, if youre not a regular, he apparently doesnt want your money. This was rage inducing to me and I shall not spend 1. More. Nickel there. And I do like their food. With this screw you attitude, I wouldnt eat there of I were dying of malnutrition. Marios.......Welcome to the 21st century! Your ways are unacceptable.

This place is fantastic, Sandwiches have a good amount of meat/veg/cheese and not too soggy or overcooked. if you call and ask for light sauce or well done they always make note of the specifics. Bacon & pepperoni were cripsy on the pizza & the food is always ready at the time they say it will be.

Its ok. I wish it was friendlier. Had a very cold experience, no manners, but it is what it is. $56 for a Large Pizza with 4 toppings and 20 wings. Pretty damn steep but had to see if it was worth it. The wings were mediocre but I actually really liked them, cuz I like simple wings. The pizza on the other hand was very very sub par. I would never ever order a pizza from there again, especially with a $25 price tag. I look forward to trying their other items in the future. Perhaps pizza isnt their thing.

Worst food in town. Very rude and ignorant owners. Was good when it was down farther on Main yrs ago but terrible now. If they make mistakes they will not honour them. Once they have your money its oh well ! I will never go back !

Server didnt wash his hands before fondling my slices of pizza, had gooey eye crust on eye before getting pizza, came back, no gooey eye crust and didnt see him or here him wash hands.

Just finished an extra large pizza. Very good. Weve tried every pizza place in Welland over the years, but for some reason, this was the first shot at Marios Place. A lot of good pizza places in Welland. This one ranks up there as one of the best. Good crust, fresh ingredients and a nice sauce. As Arny says, well be back.
Good food, got a veal on a bun with cheese onions and sauce. My buddy got the same with a slice of pizza. He even said it taste like old school yummy 80s pizza. I will be back. Also nice people served us.

My mom order a pizza from there last night it take almost 2 hour to get there and the pizza was cold sorry to said u guy got to get new delivery service because my pizza was done at 5 p.m. and it shouldnt take an hour to get across town never order from there again

My family and many friends have come here for years. They have an awesome original marinara sauce recipe. They have delicious pizza and takeout pasta meals.
I am only gave 2 start because I couldnt eat it. I ordered a tray half mushroom, half white onion, half tomatoe. First piece I picked up had a piece of pepperoni on it. I am very allergic to pork thats why we didnt order any on it. So was very disappointed. But everyone else said other wise pizza was good.
Excellent pizza, Parm, meatballs and sauce. You will never go wrong with anything from Marios. Used to have a restaurant now is take out only. Excellent Italian food. We drive 25 mins to get it.

Just went in to the most miserable and rude owner. Pizza is cold and overpriced, and not worth the extreme lack of customer service. Strongly recommend volcanoes just a minute up the road.

If Im looking for a cheap, tasty, quick small meal when Im in downtown Welland I go here and grab a slice or two. Only improvements I could see would be for the guy at the counter to feel a little more cheerful, and maybe that the waiting area were a little more clean, otherwise its my go-to.
Amazing food, great people and great service! One of if not the best Italian food around. Their pizza is near perfection and their pastas are on the same level! If your in the area and are feeling some Italian you have to try this place out you wont regret it thats for sure.
Ive always really enjoyed their pasta, but after ordering delivery and getting a moldy bun, I was basically told that it wasnt their issue. Wont be going here again
