The best sushi Ive ever had; so far, in my life!! The only way Id have better is if I was in Japan. Spectacular!

Wow just Wow! The BEST SUSHI in town. It melts in your mouth. Not overloaded with rice but with all fish goodness. Not going anywhere else but here from now on!!

Picked up food from here tonight right before they closed. They were super helpful and friendly, and they also packed my takeout order well. Their sushi chef is a genius... this food was amazing! Ive eaten great sushi rolls in many US states, and in parts of Asia too, but this is some of the best Ive ever had! I highly recommend this place! The Premium rolls are where youll find some of their most interesting recipes, and theyre priced well too.

We ordered from Sushi O Mine for the first time while visiting our parents in Welland. What a find!! Everything was so fresh and we were very impressed with the amount of salmon and crab in the rolls, as well as how the rice wasn t too thick. Staff was friendly as well and accurate in the time they gave us (it was a big order!). Will definitely order from them again.

Solid not fishey even on a Sunday ordered the lunch special thinkni ordered a amd got b but I couldnt decide which I wanted before I ordered amd this was was delicious it was the one that came with 5 different types of sushi I normally shy away from tuna and other sushi at new places but these guys nailed it tuna was actually good and not that white albacore bs

Very good sushi, kind chefs and employees, but takes way too long. I ve called multiple times and tried to make an order of 3-5 items and its estimated wait time is 2.5-3 hours. If this is a regular issue, hire more chefs.

We ordered from here this past weekend. I didn t find the sushi to be very good. It was ok though. The sashimi was fresh and thick cut. We ordered two party trays. 89 pieces of sushi. We told them we were ordering for 5 adults and some kids and we got 3 soups, 3 salads, 3 containers of soy sauce and 3 containers of powdered wasabi. Very disappointed with the lack of soy sauce and wasabi. The wasabi is also powdered and not good. Almost $200 in sushi and we didn t have nearly enough soy or wasabi. You don t get a good bang for your buck here at all. I wouldn t recommend this place and probably won t eat here again.

Easily the best sushi Ive had in Niagara in 10+ years. Incredibly fresh. Uses real tuna. Has more atypical dishes like ikura. Cant wait to go back and try the ramen and other dishes.

We have been here several times for takeout sushi. The quality is great, there is alot of value for money with the larger orders, the service is friendly and the local is convenient. Try it out, youll love it.

Excellent sushi. Went in on Good Friday. They were quite busy but only waited 15 minutes for my walk-in order. They even offered me some green tea while I waited. $20 for the Sushi B platter in the picture

Finally! Closer to my home. Glad to find a Japanese and Korean Restaurant in town. The portions of sushi is pretty generous compared to other competitors. I love how fresh they prepared it in front you. I ordered Noodle & Maki combo meal (Pork Shio Ramen, Spicy Salmon Roll & it comes with vegetable salad) it s pretty heavy meal for a woman. Lol. For an Asian lady like me, this resto deserves a 5 star. Their restaurant have only 4 tables for dine in, and they also accept Pick up orders. Hopefully they will sign up to Uber Eats soon. I ll definitely come back for more. :)

Portions are amazing, always fresh, even their wasabi brings me to tears (because its so spicey!). I keep what wasabi we dont use and sprinkle it on every meal I can. I am simply at a loss for words. I have had thousands of rolls of sushi, and this is honestly a contender of the (if not the) best sushi I have ever had. The dynamite roll was unbelievable. The way it was packed, the service, and atmosphere were all great. I cannot wait to try everything on the menu.

I have been here a couple times now, and every single time, the staff blow my mind with their friendliness- they all enthusiastically greet you and say goodbye to you and thank you for coming. The food is really great, and fresh. So far, Ive enjoyed a few different sushi rolls, and the spicy pork Ramen, which was not too spicy, but quite yummy!

Ordered a Sashimi Dinner for take out and was honestly surprised with the extremely high rating for this restaurant. I ordered an hour ahead and was were told the food would be ready to pickup at X:45, but it took until X:55 to receive it (mind you this is just for some nigiri, sashimi, and a single roll). The sushi rice was stiff/hard, not soft and fluffy. The salmon tasted a bit like fridge/cooler... that reminiscent flavour that is common in AYCE places. The roll had an off smoky flavour that I was not expecting, though I dont know what was causing it as it was just a plain salmon roll... maybe the sesame seeds? The dinner came with a side salad and a miso soup- the salad was fine, but the miso soup was very basic/bland. Just miso in broth, no seaweed or tofu pieces and no real depth of flavour. Honestly I wouldnt have minded all of this as much if the restaurant wasnt charging premium prices . You can go to a nicer, upscale sushi restaurant in Niagara Falls or St. Catharines and pay equal (or even slightly less) than what is being charged here. I feel they are just taking advantage of there being no real sushi restaurant competition in Welland and assuming customers will be happy to take a slight cut in quality without a subsequent cut in price. The waitress who was getting our order ready was LOVELY, however! Super nice people in there.

In one sentence, they serve proper great tasting food. I had Takoyaki and their dinner special Nagasaki Jjamppong with five sushi. The takoyaki is the best takoyaki that I ever had so far. It is still good even when it got cold while I m eating my noodles. Parking: More parking at the back of the restaurant.

Oh My Goodness!! I am sooo happy that I found this wonderful Japanese restaurant and it s only 8 minutes from my home! My favourite Japanese food is the Salmon Sashimi so I bought the Sashimi dinner C and it fed me for 2 dinners! The Salmon was very fresh I used my chop sticks to cut the pieces in half! Everyone was very friendly! I will DEFINITELY be back! (Insert heart emoji)

A small place mainly meant for take-out, with some spots for sitting. But the food was amazing. I highly recommend the torched sushis, and I will be sure to order more from here sometime! The platters are well priced and great quality. They also have a lot more than just sushi, so of thats not your speed still look at the menu!

I m so happy that we finally have good sushi near Fonthill! The rolls are amazing and very fresh. Great food presentation and mine always comes garnished with a bunch of tempura yam. I usually order three special rolls that range from $12-16 each, total price is under $50 for two people to be stuffed I wouldn t recommend going to sit and eat as this business is set up for take out not for dining (there are a couple small tables to sit at) Order ahead as there is only one chef so it often takes an hour for your order. Bring cash and save on orders over $30.

We drove to Welland twice to pick up our Sushi not realizing it was a busy time of the year so prep times are longer than usual and the phone lines were crazy busy. All worth the hassle, as the food is top notch for Japanese takeout.

Just got takeout here for the first time. We are avid sushi eaters and have visited some of the highest rated sushi restaurants in Canada/USA . This restaurants sushi is without a doubt in my top 5 I ve ever been to. Will be my new local go to.

Finally got to try the sushi from here and man was it impressive ! The staff were great and overly kind and the quality of sushi was amazing. Will definitely be back. Oh and if you like spicy salmon rolls - these may be the best I ve ever had! Good value for money as well.

We ordered this for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint. We thought we d try it based on all the amazing reviews and we were happy we did. The sushi quality is exceptional - big pieces of fresh ingredients. Absolutely delicious. One thing that wasn t great was the veggie tempura - the batter was underbaked and we got some raw flour/batter on multiple pieces. I wouldn t get this again, but everything else was great!

My colleges and I got to experience Sushi O Mine today for the first time. Everything from ordering on the phone to picking it up and then finally enjoying Everything we ordered was wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Decided to try this place as Ive just moved to Welland and was looking for a great sushi place. Got the All-Day Special B, and the rolls were very generously filled, the salmon sushi was extremely fresh. The Veggie Udon was also very flavourful and they are generous with the portions. Will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: I was happy to see vegetarian options as well!

Just ordered takeout from here and all I have to say is, AMAZING. Food tastes great, very authentic. We were thrilled to see the wasabi is the real stuff. Soy sauce is not salty at all. The food is fantastic! It is probably one of the best places for sushi in all of Niagara. In fact I dont think you will find a better price for this kind of quality food in the world of sushi... Not in this region. Anyway, having said that, I would equate it to a nice quick lunch stop. Maybe that would be appropriate. But its not a place you go over a date or a business meeting or anything like that. Its perfect for pickup though. When we went for lunch the place was absolutely freezing. We had to keep our coats on. And would you believe we still loved it! It didnt really bother us that much as we figured there was something going on with the heat anyway. But there is something to be said for the lack of interior design. I dont think thats what they were going for though. I think they are going for the takeout business. I dont think they are looking to be a premium dining experience. This is not their target market. I would always get my sushi there. And if I lived close I probably be there twice a week. We drove 40 minutes out of our way to go and try them out to see what all the hype was all about. Its easy to see what the hype is all about - The food is great and the prices are excellent. So call ahead. Place your order. Go pick it up and bring it home and enjoy!

This place serves great fresh, handmade to order sushi at a great price. Its a welcome addition to Wellands food scene.

A quaint little sushi place in the back of a grocery-like store. The staff was super friendly. And the sushi was amazing. We got 6 different sushi rolls for 4 people. Note that the sushi they provide is very generous. The four of us were only able to eat half of what they gave us. One sushi roll was as big as the palm of our hands. They have a variety of different rolls, and even have ramen and udon options. Also, they answered my phone call 2 hours before opening time, which I have to give bonus points for.

COME HERE SUSHI ENJOYERS. Through my lifes existence, this is the best sushi/sashimi you can get at its price point ($20-35). Nothing comes close to it. You can tell that the chef here is truly passionate in his restaurant through the food itself.

Went today to grab 2 boxes of takoyaki. I was on my dinner break and they were fast, and accomodating. The takoyaki was soft, chewy and tender. I do wish they put just a little bit more octopus into each ball, but otherwise it was fantastic! 5/5 (:

The quality of the sushi is excellent. For the price point, you cant go wrong. Ive been to many sushi restaurants and can say that compared to other restaurants for the same price point, the quality of the food is quite a bit better overall. The service is also excellent. The staff isnt attentive and quick. The restaurant decor is more in line with the price point. Is perfectly fine but not top notch.

Lived in Toronto my whole life and this is the best sushi Ive had here, especially at this price point. We got two maki specials and everything was delicious. The miso soup was great, the rolls themselves were great and huge (especially spicy salmon) and then wasabi was the freshest Ive tasted. Service is also top-notch - our server was attentive, checked in on us a couple of times and brought the food / bill promptly. Highly recommend and will come back here whenever Im in the area.

This restaurant is on a smaller size, there are maybe eight tables altogether. The sushi is definitely delicious; however be prepared to wait. The portion of the premium rolls is very generous, but the rice is quite thin, so the rolls actually fall apart if you squeeze the chopsticks too hard. It appears that only two people are working, the sushi chef and one other person taking orders and preparing tables. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend coming here for sushi, just dont come hungry.

The Apple blossom roll was very tasty and a bit sweet. The spicy salmon mushroom hat appetizer was delicious but too spicy for me (my friend loved it).

I consider myself a regular sushi connoisseur, having said this I would say the salmon was very fresh, and all the vegetables that were incorporated were fresh aswell. The Wasabi they use are real Wasabi, none of that fake powdered stuff. Overall I would highly recommend, I will go back for lunch

My friend and I randomly decided to try this place from a selection of sushi places on Google Maps and we were pleasantly surprised. The lady was very hospitable and friendly. On top of that, the three rolls she recommended were absolutely amazing. Finished all three rolls in one sitting because they were so good. Definitely a must try.

It s a mainly takeout sushi place, big store, JP convenient section @ entrance, sushi eatery in the back. Cafeteria type, thought nothing to expect, but sashimi & sushi were good! Thick enough cuts to ensure good mouthful experience, but sake, pity, I would go back for the food, a fast meal or take out!

This place is actually so good!! Service was awesome from the one waitress, and food was really yummy. It took quite a bit of time (maybe 20 min) for the food to arrive but it was worth it. I recommend the glorious wound roll (yes thats really what its called lol) which had scallop and torched butterfish. But then it made us too full to finish our actual dinners lol. The sushi was fresh and Im surprised they gave a piece of fatty-ish tuna in my assorted sushi dish. The tempura udon I got had a different broth than usual. It was darker and slightly sweet, instead of a regular dashi broth. The sushi dinner bentos not only had soup and salad, but also came with a couple pieces of takoyaki, which Ive never seen before in a bento. Overall great little restaurant, which seems part of a general K-town market with another restaurant and cafe. Its quite small (maybe 6-7 tables) and the waitress said it gets pretty busy on the weekends so its recommended to make a reservation

No problems parking but you have to enter this place through the main building and not where you see their store sign. Just follow their stickers and you ll get to the place. The place is 3 places in one while the other place has the lovely windows, the food here is fresh, well prepared and presented and service is attentive. We all enjoyed our meals and would come back here if we were in the neighborhood. They should say in the menu that some of the sushi was torched because I think torched sushi tastes better and if I knew it was torched maybe I would have ordered that instead of the soup and sushi meal.

We had sashimi dinner with sushi rice. It was the best sashimi plate I ate. Fish was fresh, and portion was very satisfying. For that quality, the price was very reasonable

We got the seaweed salad and a boat and the quality was amazing. They added some avocado to the salad so it wasn t just plain seaweed which was nice. The boat was super good, very fresh, it had sweet shrimp and toro which was really nice.

The best bang for your buck you can possibly get in all of Toronto and the GTA. Every time I go somewhere else for sushi I just think about this place. Tuna is absolutely delicious and each nigiri piece is carefully curated and unique. 10/10 recommendation.

Sushiomine just opened up where sues seafood used to be and honestly its amazing out the gate. The food and portion size was amazing I got the nagasaki jjamppong ramen and a sushi sampler to take home. The staff were very friendly and while it was busy its understandable as its there first day open. even with the wait time on the sushi I got my ramen almost as quickly as I got there, so my best advice is just to order ahead for sushi or take out. Overall amazing place definitely somewhere to stop by every once in a while

The sushi was the best we have had! Everything was so flavourful. The veggie was tempra was so crispy and not greasy and tasted so fresh! Everyone there was also very friendly.

My girlfriend and I attended the soft opening in Welland on Oct 21. I ordered the unagi and spicy tuna rolls. To my surprise the spicy tuna was actually spicy! Delicious sushi, some of the best Ive had. My girlfriend enjoyed the yam dragon roll immensely. Finished off with the Nagasaki ramen dish, very delicious and full of flavour. Very generous with the portions on the ramen! I will definitely be returning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Welland - new location - amazing quality sushi!! Absolutely THE BEST that we have tried in the Niagara Region. We ve tried almost every sushi place and none of them come close. Very fresh, excellent quality, and a very skilled sushi chef. It rivals any sushi that I ve tried in SF or Seattle or Vancouver. So happy that they are here and hopefully to stay!!

I know then you and they ve just opened but I drove all the way from Niagara as my wife and I lived in Vancouver for many years and loves sushi so we went to try it out and it was absolutely delicious. I don t know if I can compliment this place enough. This sushi is the real deal. I am so excited they opened here in Niagara! The variety of sashimi and sushi in this platter is awesome. We also got their Nagasaki jjamppong and spicy chicken shots ramen and they are delicious.

This place in their new location was awesome. Fresh, quality, quantity, and perfect spice. The family operating were kind and worked well together to create an awesome atmosphere to go along with the delicious food. And they even rock out to GnR! They are BUSY, so plan accordingly. An excellent new addition to Wellands restaurant scene! We gave Sushi OMine a try for their soft open on Oct 21st, and enjoyed the food tremendously. Fish was very fresh, variety was great, and presentation was lovely. We did take out again tonight and found everything to be just as wonderful as the first time around. Definitely would recommend!

Welland really needed this, we are so lucky to have you expand here from Markam. Amazing Sushi and quality, very fresh and kind service. I will be a regular here for sure! As posted by another reviewer, its is comparable to the quality that I became used to having when I lived near Vancouver BC and ate on the West Coast growing up. The sushi is very masterfully made.

Hands down, best sushi I have had yet. I cant be any more happy Welland has this amazing restaurant. I wish there was a hundred stars to give them. Their food is so fresh and so amazing. Their customer service is beyond wonderful. Everytime we walk in there we are always welcomed with smiles and acknowledged right away. Yes the wait may be a bit but I would gladly wait for their amazing food. I live so close that its dangerous to my bank account . My family will definitely be returning on regular basis.

This place is fantastic, Im grateful to have it so closeby! The owners are very nice, the food was delicious. The only thing I would have changed is that theyd have ramen eggs. It was still so good though!

Everything was delicious and fresh! Had the Yam Dragon, the AvoQ Roll, and the Veggie Yakisoba. Vegetarian options: The usual cucumber rolls, etc, but the Yam Dragon was really something special. All delicious. Their full menu has a lot of veggie sushi variety! Veggie noodle dishes, as well. No vegetarian ramen, though. EDIT: After their comment, looks like they will include a vegan miso ramen!

We (3 of us) dined in instead of ordering take out on a Saturday afternoon after shopping at the outlets. Food was beyond delicious! My sushi peices were incredible - nearly couldnt fit entirely in my mouth We ordered the Salmon Teriyaki dinner & the All Salmon Boat - came with miso soup & salad. Service was very friendly & amazing! Highly recommend this as the best sushi restaurant in ALL of Niagara!!! (Weve tried many - the quality & freshness of other restaurants cant even compare). The dining rooms likely able to house a max of 8 guests so order take out if you & a bunch crave sushi. Great place for sushi date though!

I had a wonderful time here! The service was great and the food was amazing. Quality of food and presentation exceeded my expectations. Plenty of vegan options. Great to have quality sushi available in Welland. Plus, the owners are lovely! We will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: great vegan options! the miso soup does not contain fish and the tempura does not contain egg!

I ordered special B, salmon was amazing.. also very generous amount of food. I see why this place is so busy. On the weekend I called and take out waiting was 3 hrs, but understandable. Owner was very pleasant nice servers too

By far the best sushi I have ever had. Great quality. The establishment itself is quite small so I would suggest making a reservation if you have 4 or more people. None the less a great first experience. We will definitely be back

Tried sushi O mine for the first time today and I must say it was hands down the best sushi I have ever had. Food tasted amazing staff was very pleasant. I highly recommend this place. Now if we can get a sushi place in port colborne that would be awesome. I am a customer for life

We tried Sushi OMine and were very impressed in every way! We are sushi snobs and the selection and quality are top notch. They are a welcome addition to Welland, and perhaps a little too close to us as it will be hard to resist going back again and again ;). The staff are friendly and helpful, but be warned, wait times are long due to it being so busy, so order ahead. Thanks for coming to Welland!

The food is perfect. Its really good and its fresh. The price is also not too crazy. Especially nowadays. The staff are also really kind and friendly. I love it except they really need to figure out how to not make customers wait too long. We ordered ahead of time (at 1:45pm) because we have a really busy day that day and didnt want to wait forever if we ordered around dinner time. We ordered for 6:30pm pick up and they said no problem. We got there at 6:28pm and thought that we might have to wait a couple mins. I stayed in the car while my husband went in to pick up our order. At 7pm, I was getting really hangry and went into the restaurant to see what is going on. They told us thank you for waiting but didnt really apologize. I was ready to just get something else but my husband already paid for our order. After waiting some more, I asked if we could have some of our order thats ready. They happily gave it to us but didnt really offer for us to sit so we took a table and had some food while waiting for the rest. We finally got our food around 7:15pm so we raced home to finally have dinner. I get it, sometimes things happen. But I think if you make your customers wait 45mins even after ordering ahead of time, there should be an offer of something complimentary as a gesture of goodwill or appreciation of patience. (or at least ask them to sit) I will come back in a few months to see if they have resolved this issue. If not, I unfortunately wont be coming back.

Absolutely delicious. The amount of fish in the rolls is incredibly generous, and the sashimi is cut the thicker Ive ever seen. The Negi Toro was fantastic. Super friendly staff too!

Absolutely amazing! Went there with my sibling for some quick take out after a busy day and were over the moon happy. The setup, staff, atmosphere, and food are lovely! Didn t mind the short wait at all, the staff are all very kind. I m so glad we have this awesome establishment in Welland. It s a beautiful hidden treasure in our neighborhood :)

Couldnt have asked for a better sushi party tray! It was nice to have salad and miso soup that came along with the party tray. Overall rolls and sashimis were very fresh and delicious:) Definitely ordering again

Try to overlook, its not your traditional looking Japanese Restaurant. They do quite a bit of take out. So be prepared to waite when you dine in. Shrimp Tempura Udon Soup large enough for 2 people if sharing as an app. Salmon & Bluefin Tuna Sashimi out of this world. Again 3 huge slices of FRESH fish huge portion size. Ikura Salmon Roe was the freshest and best quality I have ever had. Bottom line GREAT Authentic Japanese Cuisine at a great price. Good Luck! Angelo

Wow!!!!! Thats all I can say!!! Im a big Korean food junkie and believe me when I tell you that this place is amazing !!! Its a little family owned place , they put so much effort and love and care into their food. I just ordered the stir fried pork lunch bento box and also ordered the sashimi B lunch combo. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! I am so impressed. If you ever wanna try good Korean food, you need to hit this place up and support this lovely local family. They are so sweet and the food is incredible! Cant recommend this enough! I would have posted pictures but we polished off the food so quickly

I went there last night with my co-workers. Was on Thursday. The place is nice and clean. The sushi I would say 7/10. And with the price I think is a high value dinner. We were eating and talking until 22:00. The place is really nice. Highly recommended for friend and families gathering

What an amazing surprise! Went in to check out the Korean store and found this gem hidden in the back. As the name of the store states they sell sushi. BUT, they also sell some Korean dishes. And boy does it hit the spot!! The chef was kind enough to adhere to my requests - which was well appreciated. There are quite a few tables which is generally empty as people mostly do takeout. It was a nice spot to have a quiet and quick lunch. I Took a picture but as you can see I already started eating from it before realizing I need to take a picture. So delicious!!

Ordered takeout from this restaurant for pickup in 45 minutes and the order was prepared and ready to go on time as promised. The presentation was excellent and all items were very fresh looking and tasting. All items were included with the order such as napkins, chopsticks, soy sauce, wasabi and ginger nothing missing. The price is very fair for the quality and attention to detail this is well worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.

Being the Salmon sushi lover that I am, I took a chance on a menu item called Salmonholic. This item wasn t really featured, kind of hidden, and I only found it because I searched salmon under this store s Uber Eats page/menu. The description didn t specify what exactly Salmonholic, was. I felt a little bold, this evening, and decided to be surprised. Well, colour me surprised because upon opening the takeout container, I was greeted with a mammoth roll which can only be described as salmon, stuffed inside salmon. That s what Salmonholic is. It s salmon + salmon It is sashimi on top of a traditional salmon roll, which itself is stuffed (they don t cheap out) with salmon. You get 9 pcs total. You also get the sushi staples: ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce, the latter is missing from my photo because I poured it on top of my sushi (wait, are you supposed to do that?!). The meal itself was delicious and fresh. The portions were massive, could hardly one-bite them. The handwritten note was honestly such a nice and appreciated touch! It warmed my soul on this cold winter s night. Thank you, Sushi O Mine, for a delicious meal! Merry Christmas and happy holidays! I will be back soon to try some more Salmon sushi

We chose this place because of good google reviews and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious!! Spicy salmon sushi pizza was the best I ever had anywhere. Food was also very fresh! Prices were reasonable and service was great! I have already recommended this place to others and we will definitely be back again.
