Pare Y Coma in Welland

I consider myself a bit of an expert on authentic Mexican tacos as I spend a lot of time in MX. These tacos are GREAT! Only thing distinguishing them from fully authentic is they aren’t making their own fresh tortillas. Their pozole is SO GOOD!

We absolutely love the service, food, the smiles and welcoming atmosphere! Its a cute setting and it's a calming and relaxing environment for a nice lunch or dinner with your family! Fair pricing for the food they offer, the fresh fruit drinks are also amazing so fresh and refreshing

I was at the library and stopped in because I was hungry and it was nearby. This was an excellent decision! I have gluten and dairy intolerances and they were immediately on top of helping me find something delicious that I could eat. I got 3 tacos, by the way I definitely recommend getting 3 over just 1 based on their size. I got chorizo, beef, and pulled pork. The pulled pork was quite good, but I was blown out of the water by the beef and chorizo tacos. Not only were the tortillas impressively not falling apart for a gluten free tortilla, the meat was well seasoned. I got fair warning about the hot salsa and added 3 drops to each taco, which gave it the perfect amount of sice for me. The green salsa, something I've never tried before felt like the perfect more mellow taste to go with the adventure that was all the other flavours. The staff are joyous, helpful, and committed to authentic and delicious food. The only thing that got me was atmosphere, which would have been perfect if not for some loud vacuuming happening in the entry for a bit. In total, I'm excited to come back to try more, and to bring along friends and family!

An excellent spot for a bite to eat! Great food, great service, and a clean and inviting venue. I was out for my lunchtime stroll and happened across Pare Y Coma. I was welcomed in by staff, and told about the venue, which I appreciated. Pare Y Coma is a grocer and hot counter with delicious Latin American eats. I had the Carnitas tacos myself, and found them to be delicious. Just the right amount of spicy for lunch time! I will definitely be coming back, and can’t wait to see what new items are coming, as I have it on good authority that there are more to come. 5/5 stars!
