Where do I even start with this adventure of culinary confusion? If it werent for Pat, the hero manager, this review would be down in the one-star gutter with Jennys customer service skills (well call her Jenny , as we didnt know her real name). So, we show up for a 13-person birthday celebration. I ll admit, this wasnt my choice (my previous visit already set the bar in the basement for Chucks). We let our server, Jenny, know we d like to split the bill across four groups, and she tells us, That s a later problem. Alright, Jenny. I love the optimism! Fast forward, and later is a problem all right. Jenny s strategy of yelling orders from one end of the table like it s an auction doesn t exactly work out. People were hollering orders like it s the stock market, and just when you think she s got it down, she darts off mid-order leaving the person in the middle totally forgotten. The appetizers arrive, leaving our table looking like a battlefield with empty plates and glasses...which just stayed there, forever. I thought surely someone would clear the debris before 13 entrees showed up. Nope. Instead, we had to start stacking empty plates like it s Jenga just to make room for the next round. Jenny has four helpers to bring out entrees, and it s a free-for-all. They re all just yelling orders and slapping plates down wherever they fit. Jenny finally appears and tells her team, Just put the plates anywhere, it s not that hard. Jenny, there are people in costumes here Johnny Zuko, Olivia Newton-John ,Stevie Nicks, Vanilla Ice, Tupac, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, Micheal Jackson, Freddie, Mercury etc., it shouldnt have been hard had you have identified your customers. Johnny Zuko s steak was charred like it went through a meteor shower, but Jenny assures him, It is what it is. Then she asks if he s taken a bite yet are you gonna pass that around to someone else? Stevie Nicks finally gets her rock hard filet mignon, but by then, her appetite had walked out the door with the first round of misdelivered orders. It took 13 minutes of hide and go seek and show and tell to deliver the entrees. Shoutout to Pat, though. He swooped in, took care of Vanilla Ice s ribeye on the bill, and tried to salvage Stevie s meal. Class act! But Jenny? She couldn t give Pat a break either, treating him like he s the one who left the table a disaster. Pat deserves a raise just for dealing with her. Chuck s, I understand you re not the Ritz, but this was giving Golden Corral vibes, and not in a good way. The fries were as stale as a senior prom corsage, and every bread item was so overcooked, it practically disintegrated. How did Vanilla Ice s meal come out perfect? If you can do it for one, you can do it for 13. Maybe get a few more kitchen staff to pull it off? Two stars: one for Pat and one for our Halloween costumes that added some fun to this trainwreck. Jenny, I left my tip for you here in this review hopefully, it helps more than my zero-dollar bill did.

I ate with two others. Had garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. Wasn t impressed. Smallest sticks I ve seen with tiny portion of bland marinara sauce. Bread was small, maybe 6.5 in diameter, didn t finish it due to lack of desire. Service and atmosphere were fine. Won t return.

We went in on Halloween evening, it was pretty dead inside so weren t expecting long waits. We ordered two appetizers and four of the same dishes after trying to customize an order we had done before and was told that it wouldn t work and now the kitchen is mad which made us uncomfortable. While waiting, we were not checked on, had drink refills or our appetizers. Finally two of the mains came, about 7 minutes later our two other dishes came out. Food was over cooked, cold and felt like it had been sitting out. Also we had many sauces we didn t order and ended up on our checks. We asked if we still had our appetizer coming then she responded saying she put them in so she didn t know. At that point we had our mains and didn t want the appetizer since we already waited 30 minutes. We still took the appetizers which were fine. During our meal, agian we were not checked on and had to flag down our waitress for refills. No box s were offered, while paying we noticed multiple errors in our checks, which were fixed after requesting. disappointed with our experience today usally that location is great. Hopefully next time it is better.

Food is average but the cost is low,so you pay for what you get.

Went the evening of November 2nd. My niece and I were seated at 10:53pm and our server didn t come by the table until 11:09pm. We got our drink orders in while we waited for our friend to come join us. The server came back at 11:15pm when we then had our food order taken along with our friend ordering herself a drink. We ordered Steak & lobster, appetizer of nachos, wings & flatbread. Another 20 minutes to by before the food had even come out. Everything was served minus the flatbread, no napkins, cutlery or condiments were given to us until another 8 minutes before the server came back. I had asked if the flatbread was coming out to which I was told yes . Another 10, minutes go by when I finally received it. It was hard as a rock! Waited for the server to come back to our table to notify her and ask for a new one to be made. It was taken back and re-made to which you could hear the kitchen bell being slammed aggressively. The server brought the flatbread and notified my table that the kitchen was annoyed . I apologized. My friend didn t even want to tell our server that her nachos were overdone. It just had chicken and cheese on them but again you took a bite and it felt like your tooth was going to rip out. Upon receiving my fresh new flatbread, it was still hard as a rock! I didn t even bother trying to ask for yet another one to be made because the server already explained the kitchen was already annoyed and our server was sitting in the booth behind us on her phone and chatting with another coworker! I love this restaurant so much as their apps are my all time favourite, however tonight s service and food quality was extremely disappointing. I m sad I spent almost $80 with tip for such poor service and not fresh food. Didn t even get to keep the receipt with our servers name on it as the bill was paid she had taken all receipts. She had faded dyed hair in a messy pony tail is the only description we have Guess I ll be making the 25 minute trip to the Niagara Falls location from now on Definitely upsetting

Affordable beer nice tv. Just wash the dirty ass stains off the tv once and a while but damn nice place figure that 9 screen tv is hard to clean.

Ordered drinks and appetizers, before our entree. Asked twice to have apps come out prior to the entree and the entree still came our first.

So this was a very disappointing experience, I went to this location to try a new spot. I enjoyed Chucks in the past its my restaurant of choice for celebrating, this time around I got a promotion for my job. The seating was only approximately half full, stood in the doorway for almost 10 mins waiting to be seated. Saw 4 tables clear and leave while waiting, was not a busy night. Got tired of waiting, left and went to the Niagara Falls location where I should have went in the first place. Was seated in 20 seconds (literally, I timed it.) They had identical capacity. Very disappointing Welland Location, do better.

It was horrible waited over 2 hours for any food we ordered 1 burger and fries 1 cheese sticks that had no cheese in it and 1 bread bun garlic. It was so bad the owners where nice noticed it took long. I suggest new kitchen staff move there butts no excuse. The waitress was embarrassed and I think so was management. The food also need to be improved not nice to look at need to be eye appealing if they need help call me I will come in and straighten out your cooks.

Came here for a night out with the wife, i always raved about how amazing the chuck s roadhouse locations are in the GTA and decided to give this location a try despite the reviews. Unfortunately all of our food was burnt and cold and service took forever. Was very disappointed with this experience, though the servers were friendly.

Understaffed. Order came out wrong, found a long black hair in my husbands gravy. Told them, brought it. On same occasion the table next to us their meal was done in correctly as well. Waiter did take 25% off our meal. However I would recommend to them to hire more staff and do some quality control on their food before it comes out to the customer. Good place to get a beer.

I moved from Brampton To Welland in Jan. I loved the Brampton Locations, they had great Staff, Food, and just pleasant all around. I have went 4 times since I moved and every time has progressively gotten worse. The worst visit, some kid barfed all over the floor and it was a lot, took then 20 minutes to clean it and not one manager even addressed the issue to any of the tables. This is the worst locations I have been too.

I m currently still sitting at the table waiting for food. Slowest service I ve seen in my whole existence on this floating rock. I ve seen food go in and out of the kitchen to other tables that arrived decades after us. I could crawl to the McDonald s next door, order one of everything on the menu, eat it all, crawl all the way back and our food still probably wouldn t be here.

I recently went at this place in welland with my friends & loved it because of the food quality & quick service. Staff was even taking the small instructions seriously. I would love to go here again pretty soon.

Food was great, service not so much, she was too busy trying to find out how her and a guy customer knew each other, left her $1.00 tip, sorry but I dont care about how you know anybody, you are at work, Im usually a 25% tipper if not more. Pay attention to your customers!!!!!!

Everything was perfect here until my wife and I were accosted by this fellow who feels like we were eating too much because of our skin colour. Another patron who saw the escalating situation had to find a female server(who handled the situation like a pro) to ask the guy to leave. Overall good work on her part, but I feel the place should have someone( a male) making sure unruly patrons dont ruin it for others.

The first time we went, I had a medium rare porterhouse that was very tough. My dining partners ordered the surf and turf and were very pleased with theirs. I decided to give them another shot and was glad I did. The NY strip loin I had was perfectly done. The price was very reasonable.

Food was tasty and flavorful. Although they dont have a lot of staff around, service was still good. Staff are friendly. Portions are bigger than expected. Parking: The parking lot I believe could handle 20 cars or more.

If I could rate a zero I would!. Let s start at the beginning shall we We had ordered steak and lobster for take out order. After the first couple of bites we could smell something terrible with the lobster. It smelled of bleach. We knew we had just gotten served bad food. We took it back to the restaurant and they refused a refund and offered a gift card. As if we would be interested in eating anything else after our experience. I demanded a refund. Out of a $140.00 bill and 3 long weeks we were refunded only 75.00. Owner is a crook and manager was a pushover. Terrible service. Phuck Chucks!

Bad service, waited a long time to be seated, to have our order taken and then to receive our food that was clearly reheated and cold. Disgusting and shouldn t be served to a dog.

While the service was awesome the food left much to be desired. How do you screw up a salad. Ordered the Southwest salad they forgot the corn...lettuce was not very fresh...minimal dressing and the chicken was so overcooked it tasted like cardboard. Husband had burger which he said tasted like a frozen burger you used to get in high school. Thumbs down would not recommend.

Visited here for lunch today. We had the Buffalo Chicken Fingers (substituted sweet potatoe fries instead of French fries +$1.99) and had a Southwest Salad. The chicken fingers and sweet potato were delicious. They sold us a side garlic aïoli for an additional dollar which was not clarified at the time order. There is a garlic sauce included with the chicken fingers which would ve been sufficient. The salad dressing was a bit bland, and some of the lettuce was withered, not at its best. Atmosphere is great. The server was great. We gave a lower rating because it seemed that she was quite busy. She seemed to be doing double duty as bar tender and hostess at the entrance. Recommend that the restaurant check their staffing levels for this time of day. The prices on their menu are reasonable however, there s an up charge for any changes to an order and they charge 3% on top of the bill which they call an honest-to-goodness fee. At the end of the day, you will pay similar to other restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our visit and knowing how their system works will definitely visit again.

We were a little apprehensive after reading a few of the recent reviews but have to say we were pleasantly surprised with our visit. Our server Hope was very attentive and polite, the atmosphere was nice, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean and you can t really complain with a rack of ribs for $15! Would happily visit again

Great steak for a change but thats all that was any good. Corn now served in a cup, overcooked and inedible. Service terrible. Hard time getting napkins and steak sauce etc. When it finally came the steaks were almost finished and the condition of the bottle was absolutely disgusting!!!! Dried days old crust around the lid. Looked like the bottle was served from the garbage and it was a manager that brought it to the table in that condition! Restaurant and tables dirty. Used to be ok but this visit totally turned us off of Chucks. Will never return.

Came here to watch the Euro while we were at the cottage. The food is really good and very reasonably priced. Our waitress/hostess was great. She didnt rush us as she knew we wanted to watch the game. The southwest salad was super tasty. The Klondike crumble for dessert was very yummy. Will definitely come back when we are in the area again!

Really disappointed with this locations horrible service. We were seated after waiting several minutes at the front and given menus only to be told by a random server 15 mins later that the kitchen was closed. That guy was kind enough to notice we d been waiting forever to be served and was shocked nobody told us but maybe don t give people food menus if the kitchen is closed? Or let us know before we re seated? Do better!!!

Wanted a nice evening out with my boyfriend, daughter and parents who were visiting from out of country. This place charges extra per item off the menu plus the price per item all for the Chuck Roadhouse name brand (what an absolute joke and insult) The food was bland and steak was undercooked. Our waitress was wonderful which was the only good thing about going herd. I wish we had left and gone somewhere else instead. Will never come back that is for damn sure.

I like the cheap apps and cheap beer, service is usually slow though.

Today we had lunch at Chuck s in Welland and were very pleased. We ve eaten here often and it s always good. I had the Smokehouse Burger with a side Caesar salad. My husband had his favourite which is the meal size Caesar Salad with flatbread. Both of our meals were excellent, and our server was friendly and efficient.. We like Chuck s because we can get a good meal at very reasonable prices. Where else could you go for great food, wine and beer, for $61.00 before tip. Which also included mozzarella sticks. We ll be back!!

Waited an hour for three appetizers tonight. Very disappointed that our time was wasted. We understand the kitchen might have been busy but some communication would have been nice. At least let us know how long it would have been and I wouldn t have waited

Called in advance to ask if they would play the euros on the big screen with sound on, so we showed up. Once we arrived we waited 40 minutes to get served. We asked to change the channel from golf to the Euros, which they agreed, but they quickly changed it back because a miserable person complained. I will never come back here... It was 7 people versus 1 person and the 1 person won !

Came in today with a group of 8 to watch the euros (I called in advance to make sure they had it on). Once I arrived, I waited for 30mins to get served, and they refused to turn it on. Ended up going to Boston Pizza - we were served immediately and they put the game / sound on for us right away.

Let start by saying it was Fathers day so I understand it being busy. This is just me view on it I ordered a half chicken breast. The BBQ sauce is abit on the sweeter side not my personal preference but to each thier own. I had a side of baked potatoe not he french fries. Baked potatoes was fantastic came out steaming loved it. The chicken came out hot as well cant complain. Also had appetizer of garlic bread and cheese I can tell it was heated up using microwave leaving the cheese tasting salty. My wife ordered same but got a side of onion rings instead she said she loved the onion rings but they gave her a leg instead of breast service slow enough that she had to have the breast to go. I dont know if it was me that I didnt look the menu however I didnt know that the baked potatoe and onion rings had a substitute charge of $2.00 each. Take from this what you will just my experience.

ABSOLUTELY THE LAST TIME, who ever owns this location should be ashamed! I have tried many times to order as I have gotten a burger here and there, recently no one ever answers the phone to take an order and this is during a weekday so by all means not busy enough not to answer a phone.. today after a long day of diver around my husband and I decided to get chucks for dinner all we were wanting was burgers and fries not too much too ask right? I call and someone answered! I say Im wanting to place an order and I was told ohh I dont think were doing orders today me: sorry what do you mean I cant place an order? Them: No, as we are busy and have a party in here. I hang up my husband calls back and yet they took an order from him!? I dont understand this at all and will definitely NEVER be returning to this location. When he went for pick up they were not sooooo busy they couldnt make 2 burgers! Absolutely pathetic! And will Also be reporting to BBB as I dont understand why I was told no but my husband could place and order! Update to being asked to directly contact them... still no response even though they asked me to contact.. is this so they look like they care or to pretend they care about the customers...without customers theres no one to buy your food..

The restaurant is really busy, due to the game obviously. But the customer service provided by Chase is amazing, he kept smiling all throughout, made sure he was calm and such a sweet guy. Really good with customers, you need more employees like that.

Service was amazing. The staff is friendly. The best part is that they allow pets for patio. We had fun time in their patio along with our dog. The staff treated our dog so well. The food was tasting good too. So what else do we need!!

Call in take out orders are quick, the food is better than any other fast food restaurant. Real beef, lots of toppings, a toasted bun and even the container is reusable, two orders for $20. And the staff is polite and fun. Dining in, is another story, long seat time, no service after seated. It wasnt crowded, staff didnt care as we walked out. I dont care to ever walk back in

We never received our appetizer that we ordered. A server brought our meals and when I asked about the starter she said Oh didnt you get it?. Then she brought it out and it was burnt. We said we didnt want it as it was burnt and we had our main meals. She rolled her eyes. No one came to refill our drinks or anything. Worst service and attitude from the server and waiter. Service was so slow. Wont be going back!!!

When you order 2x (2pc) fish and chips and a Cheeseburger on a Good Friday holiday and only received 1 order of the fish. The fish had no flavour, barely any fries and asked for extra tarter sauce but only got 1 sm container for the only order of fish n chips that I got. Called them to ask why I only got 1 order and the guy didnt give a reason, and he was unapologetic. Bad food, bad service

Typical bar setting. Lots of TVs for watching games. Food is delicious and very affordable but the service is terrible. 3 times Ive been and once we were seated took a long time to be greeted by our server and get the menu. Then when you finally order the food it takes forever to get to the table. Steak is great and seasoned, not always 2/3 times cooked to perfection. 3rd time I didnt even bother complaining bc I knew the wait times would be ridiculous. Half price apps after 9, mozzarella sticks are SO good. Nachos are blah, quesadilla is average, wings are good. Calamari was burnt to a crisp lol All in all, not terrible. My go to for a good cheap steak and cheap late night apps. Kid-friendliness: Lots of families in the dinning area. High chairs available at request.

As always Chucks food was great. We started off with a rocky start as our steaks were cooked wrong and served cold. The manager was awesome and got new ones brought out (took about 20 minutes) so waited around 40 minutes to eat in total which sucked. I wont go too negative because the waitress & manager were very nice and took care of us. Great price & good food at Chucks Roadhouse as always and this location is big and the staff are awesome

My boyfriend and I went to Chucks Roadhouse in Welland Ontario for a date night. The food was fantastic. We both got the steak and lobster tail, and I got the buckaroo for dessert. We had great service and will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you to the staff for helping to make our night memorable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good place to eat with reasonable prices.

The bruschetta flatbread here is so freaking good!

Honestly should have known better when entering with a pleas wait to be seated sign and have several more than 4 employees walk past me and not even acknowledge my party was standing waiting. Not table checked once. Manager and staff all standing at bar with cellphones and laptops ingoring tables. 45 mins for entrees for a table of 2 t, order steak medium/rare arrived well done. Chicken over cooked and dry. This location is nothing but an embarrassment to the franchise.

I ordered the soup of the day and the Chicken Quesadilla appetizer around 9pm. I asked my waitress if I could have the soup first, followed by the Quesadillas, to which she agreed. However, another waitress brought out both dishes at once, which was understandable given how busy they were. Unfortunately, the soup was cold when I tried it. When the first waitress checked on the food, I mentioned the issue, and she apologized, promising to speak to the manager about possibly comping the soup. However, when the bill arrived, the waitress informed me that the manager said since I had already eaten the soup, they couldnt do anything. It was disappointing, but I didnt want to cause further fuss, so I paid and left feeling disappointed about paying for cold soup.

Been there multiple times. Servers inattentive, talking to coworkers at bar. Messed up orders, didnt take dirty plates away, garbage on floors, dirty washrooms. This was on a slow night.

Good food and drink at reasonable prices. Food and drink delivery was slow. Seems like the kitchen and bar cant get organized. Table service was excellent. Kudos to our waiter and other wait staff for their efforts to keep everyone happy. This is an updated review and based on the review I left last time this kitchen service problem is not new.

Its a bar, not a high end Steakhouse (nothing wrong with that, just setting up expectations) .The food was tasty, and the staff was helpful. All in, if you want a nice meal, it will be a good destination.

Food was decent, service was excellent. Atmosphere needs work. We originally sat in a booth near the hallway to the bathrooms, and it smelled like BO quite badly in and around that area. We ended up moving to a table closer to the bar and it smelled like rotting lemons or something. There were also a fair amount of little flies, it was pretty gross. This needs to be improved ASAP. Im really hoping when I come next time that this is resolved otherwise I dont know if Ill be back after that.

Absolutely horrible tonight. Got some fish and it was overcooked and burnt. Got some steak as well, burnt to a crisp. Took them back, steak came back good, Fish was RAW and still FROZEN. Absolutely awful.

Apparently no wait time so we went in right away. A LOT of empty tables. Kids meal prices cheap and it was a rib/wing combo night (Wednesday) for $15. However, it took a while for a server to seat us even though no wait time. No one acknowledged us or asked us if we wanted anything to drink or that someone would be with us in a second. We walked out after 15 minutes waiting.

Was there tonight for my birthday supper and it was the worst food Ive ever had tonight almost all the food was cold and all they did was offer me to put it on the microwave to heat it up potatoes was ice cold gravy wasnt even warm for spending 145 for the 5 us should of been alot better in the quality of the food

I m highly disappointed and not impressed. I was told I couldn t make a reservation for 6 people however that they d more than likely be able to sit me when I arrived. Well I arrived and was told a 30 minute wait, this is why I wanted to make a reservation not impressed at all. Don t think I ll be back to eat here anytime soon.

The food and service was great. The acoustics are very poor. Its very noisy and difficult to hear your table mates talk.

Wednesday rib special is awesome. Cheap pints, great onions rings. The ribs are very good. Had a bacon cheese burger another time, it was pretty standard. Great service both times. Very friendly staff.

There s this new girl she ll serve you and deliver your drinks and food without looking at you.

Unfortunately the food was awful. We came for the half priced apps after 9 and I ordered the deep fried cauliflower bites. They were definitely not deep fried completely as they were soggy and mushy and weren t event totally covered as they normally are at other chucks locations. My quesadillas had no sauce whatsoever on them. Very disappointing as I ve always had amazing food at other locations.

Good service and great food!! This time had the steak, it was great!! Prices are quite reasonable compared to some places!! BBQ chicken was pretty good too!!!

Ive visited several chucks roadhouse and always thought for was just OK, this one was the best yet, and my steak was perfectly cooked and the prices are very reasonable. Ive tried steak all over Welland, and this was my best steak in Welland yet!

Always a good experience. The staff is great and handle the ups as well as the downs with a great attitude.

Took my two sons for dinner , my one son had Chuck s chicken fingers and onion rings he enjoyed , my second son had Chuck s cheese burger it was dry and not good he didn t eat it he also had a Caesar salad the lettuce was brown he didn t eat it. I had the big chick a sweet fries the burger was alright the fries were cold I mentioned it to the waiter he went to drop more but we were already annoyed by the food . I told him about my son s burger and salad and it was clear he ate a bite of each and yet I was still charged the full amount. I won t go back and I won t recommend this place to anyone I ll try Mr.Mikes up the road or MT bellies .

Good food and great service at affordable prices

Service is hit or miss (was fine tonight). Food is usually decent and prices are fair, but tonight was disappointing. Bruschetta sas burnt. 2 piece fish and chips was preformed frozen fillets, over cooked and EXTREMELY greasy. Steak was ordered medium rare and served medium well. I wanted to send it back, but was my wifes steak and she didnt want to send it back. I took 2 bites of the fish and that was enough for me to be done. Told the server the issues however just oh no as a response, then asked if we were ready for our bill. I get that chucks is not fine dining but definitely expected better than this Disappointing sums it up best.

Service very slow but server was nice. Food was not cooked correctly and took so long to be remade the rest of the table had finished their meal. Manager not willing to come to the table to make it right until after sending the server with answers/messages for the table numerous times and we had to specifically ask for them to come to the table. Zero customer service skills especially as a manager.

About two months ago ordered food it was terrible and most of it burnt. Spent over $80 they offered only a $15 gift card but when asked for it no one could find it so I have emailed Chucks four times and no one has had the decency to get back to me. Extremely unhappy especially when you cant afford to eat out and when you do the food disappoints big time.

Good food at a good price. They have a burger and fries deal for $9 bucks. You cant beat it. Great tasting burger and the staff are super friendly.

We called and asked if it was still half price and we asked for pick up. They said yes after 9:00pm. The people that were working were rude. We had to pay full price for the order of food. We ordered 2 buffalo chicken quesadilla and 2 order 8 piece and 16 piece

So last friday was my birthday ! Me my friend an dad decided to go to Chucks.. upon arrival we were seated.. took about 15 to 15 min just to have a server come over.. it wasnt busy around 430.. got drinks an ordered took a while to get for bout 30 for 3 steaks an fries... Dad got his over cooked but he doesnt complain. My friend got hers over cooked but she doesnt like to complain got mine medium rare was like a chunk of leather.. cut it up all the way down an showed server. Absolutely no issue will refire awesome waited a good solid 15.. theyre food was done. Got steak cut open damn thing was still mooing an fries were cold they comped meal but for a bday dinner was super unsatisfied I use to love comin here last few times service has slipped an good was below sub par not sure if Ill be back with so many options on Niagara street

I went to Chucks tonight with 2 friends. It was extremely busy however our server Sara made it all worthwhile. She was absolutely fantastic, she made our night. She needs to be paid more for how divine she was. If you go chucks, make sure Sara is your server

We come here all the time because we live close and it s hit or miss with the service, but the food is always okay for what you pay for. Tonight was awful. We waited for a while at the door with no one to offer us a seat. Everyone looked at us and no one came over. We finally went to one of the girls at the bar and asked if we could seat ourselves to which she replied Uh yeah sure and mentioned that multiple people saw us waiting When we did seat ourselves, the other waitress at the bar brought over waters. 15 minutes went by with no menu. We finally asked the dining waitress if we could move to her section. She apologized and told us she would get the bar waitress. The bar waitresses seemed annoyed and apathetically took our orders and brought us menus without an apology. My boyfriend and I both worked in restaurants for many years. We are sympathetic when places are busy but the bar waitresses didn t even seem like they were trying. Very disappointed tonight. Edit: They also overcooked my steak and I am now sitting here waiting for a new one as my boyfriend is basically done his food. Another edit: The steak came back raw and the waitress disappeared. We had to stare down another waitress before someone came over. Our original waitress didn t even apologize and we had death stares on the way out. This is the worst experience I ve ever had at a restaurant. Safe to say we won t be coming back anytime soon.

Come here quite often but tonight was something else. We walked in and the hostess said there are no tables when there were a whole bunch of seats available along the bar and empty booth and empty high top. I pointed out the booth, she went to clean it then came back to us saying the server said they dont want any more tables because they cant handle it. This isnt cool esp coming from fellow business owners, not quite sure how the owners of Chucks would have felt knowing our service was denied. At least she could have asked us to wait as we arrived an hour and a half before closing and there were seats available. Disappointed. Update: Been back many times after and looks like service has improved. All the bartenders are my faves. Keep up the great work!

Went here last night. Took a very long time for my partner and I to even be acknowledged at the door while waitresses walked by not saying anything. Ordered the wings rings and fingers as well as the nachos. Nachos were seemingly fine, however, the wings rings and fingers gave me food poisoning. Chicken must have been undercooked or left out unrefrigerated for a substantial amount of time. Still feeling awful today. Will not be going back.

Me and my lady came to this chuck location and order Wings and the quesadilla .. when the meal came.. the food was cold... we eat 1.5 quesadilla slices and left 3... asked to have everything returned since it was to cold to eat... the waiter came back and said her manager Kristy is charging us half price for quesadilla because we eat 1.5 slices lol... Im so disappointed with the service.. who eats cold food.... no one...decided to leave... Kristy yhe manager should have no charged us for the cold food.. its not our fault...

Employees ignore delivery drivers like they are invisible. I was waiting for like 1 hour and no one listened me.

My wife and I went to Chucks Roadhouse in Welland and decided to split an order of the Chicken Quesadillas as a starter. It was really delicious. As for our main meal my wife had the Philly cheese steak with Chucks BBQ Sauce on the side. She found the sandwich ok, but also said the bun was flat in shape and it could have had a better style bun. I had the Peppercorn Steak with goat cheese done medium with Chucks BBQ Sauce on the side. Im do not like to use BBQ Sauce while cooking my steak. I was not impressed, even with the peppercorns on it I found the steak was bland. I thought there would be some other marination of spices as it was being cooked. The steak also didnt taste charbroiled, but like it was grilled on a flat top. I had steak sauce on the side and it still didnt really taste all that great. Very disappointed...! Well I was contacted by Chucks Roadhouse Welland after this review. They wanted me to send a copy of my dinner receipt to there email,and I gladly sent a copy of my receipt. Its December 21 and I have never heard a response.I have to say I have eaten at other Chucks Roadhouses in the area and never had a problem with the food. I have decided to take another star away due to a lack of customer response from Chucks Roadhouse Welland.
