I recently ordered at Lung Fong and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the dinner for four, anticipating a delightful meal, but was left disappointed. The food arrived astonishingly quickly, in just 15 minutes, which initially seemed like a positive. However, it became clear that this rapid preparation came at the expense of quality. The dishes were bland and lacked the vibrant flavors typically associated with Chinese cuisine. Additionally, the texture of the food was gelatinous and unappealing, giving the impression that it was not freshly prepared and the meat was old. While I had high hopes for Lung Fong, the experience was not satisfying. I hope they can improve the quality and freshness of their offerings in the future.e it was previous owners.

What a terrible experience. I didn t have a menu so when I called I asked what was in the family of 4 meal and ordered the meal that with tax was $75. I received a completely different order and the bag was packaged so terrible with nothing at the bottom of the bag it leaked hot soups down my legs as I brought it to my car. When I called to tell them about not having the right items he told me that was the deluxe family of 4. Even though he was the one I spoke with 30 min earlier. He offered for me to come back and get more soup and that s all they would do. The food was bland overcooked and inedible. The meat was slimy and the chicken was saturated in oil. I am so disappointed as we save to do a take out order and this was the worst money and customer service.

Deluxe dinner for four was delicious! Egg rolls were chewy but shrimp were the best!

Only complaint is that I spent $100 on take out and even tipped $5 .Got home took out my items and there was no fortune cookies . A definite buzz kill Lost for words and I may have to travel to Niagara Falls to a new Chinese restaurant if I am not reimbursed for this matter...Otherwise the food is fantastic.

I hate giving bad reviews. The service for delivery was amazing. I was told this was the place to try. I was extremely disappointed. Order the rice, stale. Order the chicken curry and black bean beef. Both were not not good and the meat was slimy. Like from a package.The wonton soup was even more disappointing after $80 in. ..no flavour. One soy per soup and the noodle was something that sat for a year before serving from what I can tell. I gave it a chance but never again for food. The owner delivered (assuming!) she was sweet.

Very quiet atmosphere! The food was great and came out fresh and hot! And the pricing was extremely reasonable!

This is, BY FAR, the best Chinese food in Niagara. Every time I eat somewhere else I always regret it because it doesn t even hold a candle to lung fong. The General Tso chicken is the bomb.

Finally found our go to for Chinese food best won ton soup weve had in years nice size portions for the price I definitely recommend this place.

Yummy looks a bit run down outside but it is decent inside and food was quite tasty. General Tsos chicken yum. Price was great and got alot of food for the price. Young boy was very attentive and polite. Will order again. My new Chinese go to. Try them food was fresh and flavourful. Thank you

Ordered dinner for four for pick up - excellent quality and quantity - great won ton soup, beef with veggies, chicken balls, etc - it is our go to place now.

The exterior has no effort put into its maintenance or beautification. Interior decor is non existent or 70s era at best. Service comes at a barely understandable accent and usually from an uninterested teenager, assuming the owners son. Food is surprisingly good and affordable which is the main redeeming factor here. They offer take out, which I recommend.

Everything we ordered was pretty tasty, sauces werent overwhelming. My only complaint is that food took an extra 30 minutes to be ready. I wouldnt have minded an hour wait if I was told up front it was going to be that long.

Please read to the bottom - I had food from there a few times and it was good . Ordered again today and I was extremely disappointed . Our food was uncooked , I know Chinese food the veggies are el Dante but at least tender . Our brocoli , carrots , and other veggies were literally barely room temperature . There was no moisture or flavour in our dishes, they were so dry, barely no sauces in our beef and vegetables , our Cantonese chow mien also was tasteless , no sauce and 3/4 of the noodles were uncooked so they were hard and crunchy . Our rice was Luke warm at best . And no soya sauce packets were even given . Plus a heads up they now charge $8 for delivery if you don t spend $65 before taxes . It was free if you spent $35 . I know gas and everything went up . But to double the amount you have to order and almost double the delivery cost when you serve raw veggies and uncooked noodles is ridiculous! So not happy . EDITTED : I usually don t make reviews or complain .I hate Karen s lol But I was so disappointed . I m not rich and ordering out is a special treat for us . So I ended up calling them personally to let them know how poor our meal was . They were polite and very apologetic and offered to refund our meal . But being we did not eat ( literally threw out most of it, it was that bad) we opted for our meal to be done again as we have always liked our food from there before . They had no issues with remaking our order . It was hot , cooked to perfection and had the usual flavour with optimum amounts sauces . Thank you Lung Fung for not hesitating to correct this and making it right . Your back in as one of our favourites again . Ive changed the rating to 4 stars because they did come through in the end .

Lots of good food for the money.

Had dinner for 6 adults and 2 children.. Food was hot and delicious. Each dish had its own flavour. Lol children put their chicken ball on chop stick ate like a lollipop

Honestly. Terrible service. Ordered the deluxe dinner for 2, except ordered 1 out of 2 wonton soups a large instead of small and they put all the wontons in the same container and to coun them. So it spilled everywhere after trying to count the falling apart wontons. So when I called to ask for a new one they said they would bring new ones, instead they brought the chef to tell my boyfriend they put everything in the same container. So I had lost it and told them over the phone how when you order a meal with 2 wonton soups they should come with 2 wonton soups and finally they fixed it by returning a third time and Ill never order from there again

stopped here on a whim as craving Chinese food . the young man who took my order was pleasant and even brought out to the car when was ready which was less than 15mins. food was very good . hot and tasted fresh so glad we ve found a place in welland as normally go to falls for Chinese food . thanks again

I have been coming to this restaurant since I moved here 3 yrs ago, with my friends. It closed up for almost a year, but they have new owners and they have a very good menu and the meals are second to none. It isnt the most decorative place Ive been in but it they are kind an very generous with eat in or take out menu. Try it out! The prices are excellent too.

Seriously the absolute best restaurant around. The workers are an absolute delight, so generous and amazing. I came here with my family many times, and once in a while they gave us all free wonton soup as a gift. Just goes to show how generous they are, and the food is incredible.

Always great food .. this was my first review and it was true until today july 1st 2021.. today I ordered 2 sweet and sour chicken balls and they were inedible .. there was nothing but gristle fat and connective tissue and whe I called them about it they were like ok and hung up .. huh? I wont go back because Im totally grossed out now .. terrible customer service

Ordered take out, went in side, nice young man greeted me took order, was roughly 10 minutes and he even brought it to car. Food wasnt bad, was super hot (which I love) fair amount of food for price, mixed chienese vegetables were pretty ordinary, fillers of onions, celery, would of liked water chestnuts, almonds some bamboo shoots make it less basic. Food was good, would try again my only real complaint is need to be more updated inside and building as well but more so the inside.

Great food! Take out is fast and the wonton soup is excellent!

After two years closed we went in for soup Needless to say we were the first customers in 2 years the food had good honest taste. Lots of pork in the wonton soup with 4 wontons a berty taste beef and greens. Fried wontons with cheese was amazing. Highly recommended. A nugget in the rough that could be polished as Wellands next best Chinese Restaurant. Friendly staff with new owners and kitchen staff. Just a great lunch. We will be back.

Lung Fong is a great place for fast friendly service and tasty Chinese food. Sue super-friendly and goes out of her way to make her customers happy. Plenty of parking with an easy to find location.

It just reopened after 2 years with new owners. The food was good but not as good as before and the prices have increased quite a bit. We will try it again after a few months to see if things change.

Food was delish, in house meal with a low charge per person which included egg roll, soup, a tray of various appetisers to share and a main course for each of us. Place outside looked kind of run down, and a bit musty smell inside, however the dinner was fantastic. Will go again!
