I ordered the pepperoni pizza meatball sub. I noticed the seasoning that normally goes on top was missing. When I asked about that, they apologized and said they were out. I find it poor quality to not tell a customer this before serving them. I expect my order to be complete before I leave and they tried to slip it under the rug, assuming I would be okay with it. The seasoning is part of why I enjoy the sub so much and it wasn t the same. On prior visits, they did the same, when my sub was missing the garlic butter sauce. I also found it rude to speak in a different language in front of the customer. As someone who speaks another language I was always taught not to do this if other people don t speak that language out of respect. Poor experience overall.

Stupid me!! A pal knew I liked a good sub, so recommended this place. Average sub, below average service, if that could be called service and for what they charge, Im surprised they are still in business. I only gave it 2 stars because there was lots of parking.

Today I would love to share with you that I had the Club on a Sub. When I made this selection, I thought it would be a cold sub but I was pleasntly surprised it was warm and steamy. It was the most incredible sub I have ever had. The meat was stacked so high, O.M.G, I was so full and if Inhad room for another I would definitely buy another!! Words cannot express how amazing this experience was and is. Yes each sub is on the pricier side, so please expect paying a higher price....BUT ITS SOOOOO WORTH EVERY PENNY! Plus this business was founded by firemen and every customer that enters gets greeted. Come everyone in the Niagara region! I PROMISE you, you will not be left empty. Mr. Sub, Quizznos and Subway have nothing on this business. Remember my friends, support your community, your local Firefighter department and come to Welland for a small taste of heaven. The taste does not justify the price

Great service!!! They brought the food, asked us how it was, then took our treys. The food was great as firehouse tippicaly is for a fair price.

Never disappoints! Youre welcomed as soon as you step into the door and staff are always very friendly. The food is incredible, and your sub gets stuffed to the max.

1st time ive ever been here. Little high on the price, but honestly have never had a better sub! Every piece was fresh, and every bite was amazing! Will be back!

Absolutely delicious sub (Get the New York Steamer) BUT more importantly, the friendliest and best customer service Ive had in a restaurant ever. The staff were funny, social and incredibly welcoming. Cant recommend this place enough - check them out

The best subs my wife and I have ever had but if youre serving corned beef you should offer horseradish as a topping!

I ve eaten at this location 3 times now and every time it seems like something is wrong/missing from my order. Customer service here is horrible compared to other locations. This made me try Subway again (Fonthill) and what a difference. Subway has 15 new subs aswell and way better cookies/ prices. Step it up Firehouse. Stop being comfortable with mediocrity.

I love Firehouse Subs. However, this location doesnt seem to like fixing mistakes. The computer system for some reason was inputting the wrong price for an item; obviously not their fault. Ordered a large only charged for a medium but they gave me the medium. I requested the large instead because that is what was ordered. Their computer system failing isnt the fault of the customer. They refused to make the sub I ordered without charging extra. So, instead of just owning the mistake and just giving what was ordered, they decided they would rather throw away the food and refund my money. If I mess up with the price of something, its my fault and I give the customer the product anyway because the customer is not to blame for my incompetence. Firehouse Welland seems to think that not matter what, the customer is always wrong. Also, judging by the other negative comments, management doesnt seem to care about reaching out to people who have had issues with their restaurant...yet another Well done, Firehouse (sarcasm)

Forget what sub I got but nothing special about whole place

The lady who gave me my food gave me the wrong order. She then called me and told me I lied about my order. Terrible service and rude. The gentle lman who spoke was very nice however, the lady was very unprofessional and rude.

Fantastic food and atmosphere for a chain restaurant. The people go the extra mile to make your meal perfect. Always cheerful and always go the extra mile trying to make the kids smile and laugh. A little more expensive than subway but its no comparison. Kid-friendliness: They go the extra step for the kids. Every kids meal comes with a fire hat . The employees always try to interact with the kids and make them laugh and smile. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp infront of building.

Fantastic subs. Time to start playing music or something for your employees so its not so much of a feeling of being in jail. Lol but no joke. Turn some music on also for your customers and create a comfortable environment. Cheers

The wait time was much longer than any other Firehouse Subs Ive been to and there were plenty of staff present. Aside from that, the food is always good.

Be prepared to wait if not ordering online, and even if you order online you re likely waiting. With 4 people working behind their counter, I ordered 2 subs on a Monday night and it took them around 15 minutes to make. Lol. I honestly expected faster and better for the prices.

Seriously what are you guys smoking over there? Order 2 subs for the kids and they asked for cheeses for there meal and you guys send them Jalapeno cheeses...like come on use your brains!

Ordered 4 subs. 1 steak sub no onions, with one pickle. 2 turkey no sauce 1 meatball no cheese. What we got. 1 steak sub, extra onions, no pickle. 2 turkey swimming in sauce 1 meatball no cheese and no marinara. WHY?? They didnt get ANY of them right. Doesnt seem like the staff here can get any order right. The St Catharines location ROCKS. Welland location not so much. Do better.

Best subs in the world, highly recommend the meatball sub as its the best thing youll ever taste. Great service from the staff aswell additude. Really felt the customer care. Youll hear it takes too long but your meal isnt rushed, Its made with love.

Worst sub place ever...over priced and not tasty at all, i didnt know so much grease could come from a sub..it was a disgusting mess ( brisket and cheddar) $27 for two medium subs and a med drink, 21 min wait to actually get it and one second to be turned off from ever eating there again. Take your hard earned money down the street, this franchise doesnt deserve it

Definitely NOT worth the money. Very basic. Subway loads up your sub more geeez.

Havent had a bad sub from any Firehouse sub location

I had a S&S meatball. It was so awesome. Very good. First time visiting the new location in Welland. Very friendly. Great to have you in Welland. Keep it up.

Great subs and service

Went in they all welcome customers which is nice. Must be a pain for them. Idk about the 1 star reviews I usually check those before trying a new place. They made me 2 subs and a chilli at 5pm on a Sunday it took not even 15-20 mins for them to get it together. Very polite staff, my italian sub was a bit... juicy to say the least. Maybe if they toned down the sauce a bit their subs wouldnt be as soggy but the other half was fine haha it happens sometimes if you dont get light sauce. Mine were also to go so who knows what happened on the drive home. Good stuff will try again. Oh yeah pickle isnt my fav. I like a sweet garlicky dill. This is like a mildy salty/briney almost tasteless pickle.

Great sub decent service

I ve been really looking forward to trying your subs. I was out on Sunday past and decided to go in and treat myself. I ordered a hot meatball sub, and said no pickle. When I got home low and behold there was a pickle sitting on top of the sandwich. I do not like dill pickles. It was really disappointing. All I could taste and smell was dill. I cannot give you a true rating because the sub did not taste good. My advice is to tell the staff to pay attention to what people ask for and listen carefully when an order is put in. Thank you
