I booked the Tea for Two to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and was not disappointed! We were immediately greeted upon entering the building and made to feel instantly welcome! We were seated at a table for 2, and it was set beautifully! Sabrina, the owner, introduced herself and gave us a detailed description of everything that is offered at The Fox and Hummingbird. We picked our tea, and then served an incredible selection of sandwiches and desserts! The scones were by far, the best I’ve ever had! All the desserts are made in-house by Sabrina’s husband! Such talent! Between the tea and delicious tiers of finger sandwiches, we were full! If you’re looking for a wonderful afternoon tea, this is the place! Worth every penny and more! We will definitely be back!
What a wonderful spot for afternoon tea! I came with my husband and we had the most delightful time! The owners were lovely, the room was beautiful and the tea, sandwiches, soup, salad, scones and treats were delicious! For $65, the Tea for 2 was excellent value and we'll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend!!
My sister's and I went here for afternoon tea. We had a lovely time. The decor is beautiful, and you can tell that a lot of thought went into every detail. The tea and food were amazing, and the couple that runs the place are very warm and inviting. We really enjoyed their company and our visit. I can't wait to come back to explore all the new things that they have in store. Prices are totally on par with any other tea House, but I think this is extra special because they make everything. We are so glad we came here 💝🫖
Words are not enough to express how great our experience was! We hosted a surprise birthday party for my mother's 80th here and it was absolutely perfect! I do not live locally, so I had to do all the planning over the phone-- Sabrina was incredibly helpful and accommodating at every step of the process. She and Tim were so kind and generous with their time and space; they were an integral part of having things run smoothly. Beyond that, the food was AMAZING! Everything was absolutely delicious and our guests all said they will definitely be back! Thank you, Sabrina and Tim, for making my mum's day so special in your beautiful space. I went with my friend and it was amazing. We wanted a Bridgerton atmosphere since we love the series and it was found. We loved the tea (Peach and Apricot) and the sandwiches especially the small croissant and we took beautiful photos. The hosts were nice. I highly recommend this place.
I threw my future daughter in law a shower at the tea room & it was a HUGE success. The food was awesome & everything was done to my exact wishes! I HIGHLY recommend that every go & have tea here…and perhaps plan your next event with them. Thanks again, so much!
Such a lovely experience! The Victorian decor is beautiful and the service was excellent. There’s a bell on the table to ring if you need something which I love. Was so disappointed when Prince of Wales stopped doing their two for one tea but this place has “Tea for two” for $65 so I’ve found a place I can actually afford to go. My daughter and I were stuffed and there was plenty of delicious sandwiches and desserts. Has menu options that start at a lower price point compared to some other places in the area. Can’t wait to go back.

What a lovely way to spend a few hours
My Mom Grace brought me here for my birthday. Sabrina, her husband and son were amazing! They did a gluten free menu for us and such great choices for the sandwiches. Oooohhhh and the teas, well so many to choose from. Afterwards Sabrina showed us downstairs where they have the set up for photos, movie and tour and other things. Such an elegant and beautiful Victorian experience. Definitely can t wait to go back!

This is truly the BEST Afternoon Tea experience I have ever had! And Ive been to alot of Tea Rooms! You are treated like Royalty, the attention to details are impeccable, the ambiance put me in awe, the food was attractive, delicious and so filling!! The owners were so attentive! I keep raving to everyone and online about the Fox and the Hummingbird, I just cant say enough! A must try!!

Afternoon tea features an array of sweet and savoury delicacies presented by our hosts with sincere hospitality and culinary excellence. A true world apart!
We have been to a few tea rooms and this one surpassed them all. All tea rooms have something to recommend them but this one was on point in every area. The decor is gorgeous, the food was fresh and home made and the service was friendly but also discreet if you wanted quiet conversation.The scones were the lightest I have ever had! It was hard to narrow done my choice of tea. It was worth the drive from Toronto.
I took my adult daughter for the tea for two menu item and could not have asked for a better father daughter experience. The tea room s decor impresses one from the moment you enter. The servings from teas to the sandwiches and desserts were visually pleasing and only surpassed by the taste of the homemade offerings. The owner s service from reception to serving was very cordial and welcoming and was as they say the icing on the cake. I am already planning another visit with my other daughter to share this experience with her as well.

A friend and I came here for the first time to enjoy a Bridgeton themed tea time, because we loved the series. We were absolutely shocked by the atmosphere, the decor, the service and the food. The Madame and Monsieur were incredibly kind and excellent hosts. The food service was delicious beyond expectations and we will be recommending The Fox and Humming Tea Room to friends and family and will definitely be back :)
Everything was made fresh and in house, the service and atmosphere were wonderful. My family and I had a pleasant time and there were so many leftovers. The scones are to die for!!!! Make sure you order clotted cream and jam!!!!
I cannot say enough good things about this establishment! From when you walk in the door to see the beautiful decor to the most amazing food. The service was excellent as well. The staff was helpful with the choice of tea to go with my very filling and satisfying lunch. I will be a repeat customer for sure !

We visited the Fox and Hummingbird Tea Room yesterday, and what an amazing experience! Sabrina and her staff are so kind and make you feel like you are being welcomed into their home for a very fancy afternoon tea. The first thing you will notice is the carefully curated decor that signals you will have a special dining occasion. Sabrina and her staff were careful about my sons food allergies, and we loved all the food but especially the sandwiches. It was a a memory to be treasured!
I had the absolute best tea of my life this afternoon. The owners, were the most amazing people, so sweet and accomodating due to us having no reservation. The place is decorated BEAUTIFULLY. It was so elegantly decorated, while also making me feel at home. The sandwiches were the best sandwiches Ive ever had. The TEA was just the cherry on top with the choices. Especially for the price it is so so worth it. I absolutely will be back and will recommend to anyone who is a tea lover.

Booked a reservation specifically for The Afternoon Tea a couple of weeks ago for last Saturday (April 27th), it was for a birthday . Arrived and nobody knew about the reservation and just left us standing there to decide where to sit, out of the two options they gave us the first table we went to was clearly just used because there were dirty dishes and food on it. The second table had been used, m dishes and food were gone so just the unused cutlery and dinnerware and cups were in the table which they left for us to use. I had to ask for a cup for my tea,p and for cutlery and we ended up using side plates because even after asking we never did get plates. The items on the website dont match the menu inside so we ended up getting the wrong tea service from what I asked for on the reservation. Way too much bread on the tower, every savory option other than the quiche was on some sort of bread. Most of the baked goods were not home baked or even from a local bakery so was really disappointed. We have had afternoon tea at many locations around the region and if you want to succeed you will need to step up your game since your pricing matches most of the others.
Wonderful place to visit while passing through Welland. Extremely tasteful and refined décor. Excellent customer service and a healthy menu. I rarely leave reviews but this hidden gem deserves to be discovered! I would give them more stars if I could. Sabrina definitely has the best tea room in the Niagara Region.
Just ate here today with friends. I ordered High Tea with a wide variety of homemade items. My friend got a rosé and mushroom pasta which also looked delicious! Wonderful Victorian atmosphere.
Had a very lovely time with my mother at the Fox and Hummingbird. They were quick to accommodate dietary needs on the spot. The staff were kind and their service was great! Highly recommend for a lunch date with friends and family. Recommended to make a reservation the next time I go to make sure they have a spot.

My daughter, Grandson who was 2 and a half and I were there for Mothers Day. Everything was yummy and we had a great time. We will probably go there again Thank- You to the very nice staff that was on duty that day!
If you are looking to walk onto the set of Bridgerton and eat like royalty - this is the place! I came dressed in street clothes, and felt quite underdressed. Quite. I should have dressed in a suit and baker boy hat (from Peaky Blinders). The service was great. The place looked amazing inside. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Outside it looks quite unassuming. When you go inside you go up a flight of stairs and are transported back to the Victorian era. Well done! Will eat here again!
My wife, daughter, her friend and I had lunch and tea at the fox and hummingbird. Everything was amazing. From the wonderful decor, to the scrumptious french onion soup and the amazing chocolate fudge cake! Of course the tea was also delicious. This is an amazing place in Welland, it is now on my have to go back list!
