Beautiful location! Ordered the Turkey Club & coffee $25 + 3.25 hst, somewhat pricey Bread was listed as ciabatta but was regular bread No Cottage Pie available Service was ok Might return in the summer to enjoy the patio but wouldnt return to the restaurant

Live music was fantastic!

While having a beautiful hockey team lunch. We stumbled across an angry waitress who was very rude and obnoxious. She purposely hid my friends food just to make him wait 2 hours for it when everyone else finished. Personally you will never see me in this premises again.

I never post anything negative, ever! However, this place was so bad, in every possible respect, I feel its my duty to let any unsuspecting public know. First of all, I dont know how they can even call it a restaurant. Its a cafeteria at best. There is absolutely no ambiance whatsoever. The walls are white with no decoration, it is brightly lit and the live entertainment was awful! What they lacked in talent, they made up for in volume! I should have known by the menus, that looked as if they had been dropped in the street & run over by twenty tractors, that the food listed on it would be bad. Some of the printing on them was illegible. The food was even more horrible than I could have imagined and the service worse. I ordered an Avocado BLT. The bread & avocado were OK, the bacon overcooked & the tomato not yet ripe. I wont even get into the lettuce. There were 4 of us & we were given 3 napkins. I asked for gravy for my fries that came with the sandwich. It was $5 for a side of gravy. Because I was on vacation, I decided to pay the $5. When it came it was grey, had the consistency of gruel & no taste whatsoever! I sent it back. Of course, there was no ketchup on the table. The fries were ice cold anyway so it was no problem leaving them. The wine list was dismal so we ordered draft beer which came flat. We then ordered bottled beer. My boyfriend ordered a second beer which, of course, never came. To their credit, they took the $5, for whatever that was that passed for gravy, off the bill & they did not charge us for the beer that never came. The patio did look nice but it was a bit cool so we did not try it out. Whatever you do, unless you are a glutton for punisment, avoid this place at all costs!

Nice setting on the water and live music on Saturday evenings but the food is very average.

Justin, the new cook, does real wonders in the kitchen! The dishes are delicious with a touch of je ne sais quoi that raises the bar for pub food. The atmosphere with the live band was very pleasant. We had a great time.

Amazing view / Terrible food

It s always changing owners. It looks like a dive bar. They lost their best chefs. Who s playing skittle? You never know when they are open! As a person that lives here I find it disappointing. We used to go for pulled pork, fish & vegetables. I loved the donair. It seems like people from the city are running it until the tourists leave. They don t know how to deal with the local people

The dishes were simply incredible I had fish tacos and it was impeccable. Everything is homemade, even the croutons in the salad! For dessert I had a cheesecake and it was the best Ive eaten in my life. On the other hand, the service was not up to par, our waitress was neither enthusiastic nor even smiling. The day I visited, there was a concert going on inside which made the atmosphere incredible. To visit if you are in the area and believe me it is worth the detour! Parking: There seems to be enough room but its not raining. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

What a unique patio in the county! We had such a nice time enjoying the dockside views with some great drinks and delicious nachos. Such a hidden gem of Prince Edward County - We will surely be back!

We were at this patio this weekend before and after camping for 3 nights...the food service is great. It sits on a bay and nice breeze outside on a hot summers day...we highly recommend this spot

June 1st I took a group of 12 for lunch. It had been recommended to us. I reserved 2mons early but that reservation never made it to their book. When I went 3 weeks before arrival I questioned this & that is when she took the booking. No patrons there that particular day at 12:45PM which was beautiful & sunny & they have a patio. The restaurant we did eat at that day was very busy. The menu, food pictures & hours of operation do not match the ad online. They never answered any of my phone calls or text messages. Sometimes the message machine indicated it was full. One call response was a computer generated the person you are trying to reach is not available . I live out of town so I had a friend go & visit to get my questions answered. The day of arrival they had no idea we were coming. No tables set up, no reserve signs. My friend arrived early & had to ask for them to get tables ready & to wipe off sticky tables & she had to change out chairs that looked like ice cream spills. This place was not that busy. Staff were on their phones when she arrived. Not particularly clean place. Front door & glass not clean, windows not clean. Floor could use a sweep. Staff did step up & put on their positive & friendly manner & took care of us. Food ok but not worthy of going back. One of the group did not like her salad & said it tasted off & she did not eat. I found this place to be disorganized & a clear lack of good management. They have lots of parking, great location, & on the water. It is too bad they don t know how to make a place like this top notch.

Extremely bad experience. Server did not inform about missing ingredients in the dish. I received my order later than the rest of my party, and when I said the dish was missing stuff they just said the kitchen ran out and I would have to wait another 15 minutes when the rest of my party will already Finnish eating. Very rude and disappointing. Ill step there again

Nice place. Good staff. Cant rate the food as when we went there was a logistics crisis and most menu items were not in stock. Not their fault so I cant criticize them for it. Will definitely go again.

Parking: Right out front or side of restaurant your choice as they have plenty of cleared and salted parking spots Kid-friendliness: Jessica and her staff are always smiling and friendly and enjoyed by all.

Terrible. Went for dinner on open mic night and it was loud enough for an arena concert. Music was okay but youre a small place - why are you trying to blow out the windows? Ordered an appetizer and two meals - steak frite and a burger. Waited forever ... and ever ... with one of the two waitresses asking us three times if weve had our order taken. Seriously? How do you not remember? Appetizer never came. Burger came out with another tables meals and was put on a side table to sit and sit and sit until our second meal came out. Steak finally came out, burger picked up from that table and brought to us. At that point we asked the waitress to obviously cancel the appetizer that never came. Finally ready to eat and the steak was ice cold. Frites hot ... steak cold. Obvious the steak sat there waiting for the frites to be done. Burger now cold. Wait staff oblivious. Used to love this place and went all the time - used to have great staff, used to have a great menu. Its a shame because they have a wonderful location (especially the patio in summer) but ... well never ever go back. New owners / cook staff have A LOT to learn.

Oh dear. We, a party of 3 went on a Sunday to have lunch. The positive is the harbour view and the lovely location. That was all thst impressed. We ordered burgers, the soup of the day and Turkey bacon sandwich. The burgers were not good at all. Small, the meat dry and tasted old, the bun dry. The fries were ok. The turkey sandwich was jampacked with bacon ( did they want to get rid of it? ) the turkey dry and rubbery. We ordered cider and beer which were from local businesses and the linch savers. We paid 90$ for the substandard food and we laughed it off as being charged for the location and view but lets be honest, this way the restaurant wont be around long. I get it, it was winter ( not the busiest season ) but one ought to put a bit more effort in a restaurant.

Wonderful mussels and charcuterie board! Extra bread was provided. Local wines are available. It was lovely to sit out on the terrace and relax. Friendly, welcoming staff!

Brought 6 out-of-town friends to this restaurant and was my first time there too. Fish and chips were awesome. Mussels are great too. Service is spectacular!! Don t drive by this place. Worth the visit.

Lovely place, friendly staff but our group.of 9 ladies all said they will.not be back. The menu is TERRIBLE , smallest menu i have ever seen. Nothing special. Very boring and the only meat offered was a burger. No sides and only 2 salad choices. No side salads of any kind. So disappointing

Full 5 stars for everything. We ate on the outside patio. The breeze off the lake is perfect. Fresh pickerel fish and chips. Easily the best Ive had in a long time. Plenty of locally sourced drinks from The County choose from too.

Nice Patio, Delicious food, generous portions (I had the Fiesta Bowl it could have served two) excellent service. Reasonably priced meals. Went back July 7, 2023 looking forward to enjoying the Fiesta Bowl. I was extremely disappointed as the entire menu has changed. The prices are pretty much the same. The meal was tasty but the portions are extremely small (left feeling that we should stop at McDonalds for a top up but we didnt). I was also disappointed by the service. Yes they were busy however I had to ask for a server after waiting for almost 45 minutes. The server was extremely pleasant. I am happy that we were not in a hurry.

Use to go here 2/3 times a year when we were in the area, food, service and atmosphere was terrific. Went there today, new menu, new chef. Menu was boring (actually had corn dogs on menu). Wings werent properly cooked, COBB salad wasnt a COBB salad, out of fries. Patio seems to have been ignored with upkeep. Will never eat here again. In the review section it asks what food did we have and lists fish tacos but they are no longer on the menu, online menu is obviously the old menu.

After years of miss management, this place is finally on track. Great service, very good food from the new chef. Just needs a bit of sprucing up on the deck. Will certainly come back

Loved the location, the food and the service! Ordered the local pan seared fish and it was sooooo yummy and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. Even enjoyed a few games of shuffle board after dinner and a glorious sunset.

I ordered a simple salad. The lettuce was 100% not washed and was full of sand. Service were super incompetent and rude. Would avoid this place like the plague.

We had a horrible experience at this restaurant. We ordered 2 salads and the lettuce for BOTH was clearly not washed. The two servers assisting us had a horrible attitude - her exact words were the kitchen said the lettuce was washed, what else do you want me to say? . Overall, the food is super average so I would really not recommend it to anyone.

These were the cheesiest $18 nachos I have ever had

I walked into the restaurant and was greeted warmly by all the servers. My waitress Alexa was very friendly and made sure that everything was going smoothly at our table. The food came out on time. I had the hamburger and it was very tasty. I told Alexa I didn t like caramelized onions and she said that I could have raw onions instead. What a great suggestion! The patio is right on the water and overall the food was great and the staff was friendly. I would recommend to anyone going through Wellington!

A real gem! The dishes are all very good and the prices reasonable, everything is truly homemade. The service was excellent! In fact, its the place where we felt most welcomed and welcomed during our entire stay in the region. Thanks to the whole team!

Watch out for you order there. Don t get anything with raw vegetables, they re not properly washed. There was sand and dirt in my salad. Service is inadequate, and the chef/manager was rude and dismissive. They have a nice patio though

Had the chicken burger with fries and it was excellent. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was excellent. The service was great and very friendly, lots of smiles. It was a very pleasurable evening.

The food was very basic. I had the chicken sandwich, which was some frozen precooked chicken strips, lined up on a bun with mayo, lettuce, and tomato. There is much potential as the restaurant looks over the water, and servers are lovely. Meun needs a good chef to add some thoughtful flavors and local touches.

Terrible experience, ordered 2 flatbread pizzas, only 1 came out of the kitchen thankfully. 18$ for a piece of bread my kid could make In an ez bake oven .....embarrassing. save your money and spend it elsewhere.

The smoked meat sandwich...delish. the turkey melt...tasty. Jerk chicken is good too, a bit spicy for my personal (mild leaning) tastes. Really like that they put the pickles on top of the sandwiches. Good service from the waitress. Sitting across from the kitchen was entertaining, had some good back and forth with the cook.

The view is splendid. The service is OK, but the menu is not very diverse. Far too many bones in the fish n ship to the point where it was difficult to eat. The experience was very disappointing.

Having spent a long weekend in PEC we made our way back to Toronto with one last stop at the North Docks in Wellington. The menu immediately caught my attention, it had something for everyone yet was eclectic enough to make it very interesting. Clearly the chef took some time with this creation. Choosing 1 item would prove to be very difficult but I settled on a burger and fries/gravy. Absolutely delicious and paired very well with the Traynor wine I had with it. All and all a great experience with the service, ambience etc and will be sure to always visit each time Im in that part of the province.

Food is amazing. Staff is super amazing and their patio is super duper amazing. Would visit again when I am back in PEC.

Are here twice during a week long visit to the area. Great menu, food and service. The portions are definitely generous - despite being ravenous, I couldnt manage to finish my brisket fiesta bowl. Will certainly be back here next time were in the area.

The service was fast and not great. Food came if you can call it that. Fries were cold and they came from a frozen bag. The beef sandwich with coleslaw was full of fat and it was stringy. Stay away from this place. Mentioned to the server as she could see we ate nothing all she said was sorry. By the way we had soup, carrots so big that we had to cut with a knife, macaroni filled the soup. Again stay away.

We needed a quick bite, in-between wineries and this place was great. The servers were excellent the food was delicious and the view was wonderful. My only complaint is the soda water tasted off a little and I wondered if either the ice maker or soda taps need to be cleaned. Regardless, we will go back. Parking: Nice lot for free parking.

we arrive there on the first day at 7:40 a.m. and are told that its too late. Today we arrive at 6 a.m., the terrace is almost empty and ultimately the excuse is that 7 is too many. Dont even go there, its not that good.

Had a birthday lunch there and the food was OK to Good, and prompt, and service friendly but the overall customer service lacked. Example: I hate pickles, passionately! I even hate removing them from my food as it affects the taste. Yes, thats me being picky... but the restaurant would not serve me a burger without a pickle. It HAS to be there. As a joke I asked, what if I was allergic? They said they would leave it off so I said I was allergic. They agreed. Fine. Then the food still came with pickles on it. The point is not how picky I am, and I agree that no substitutions makes absolute sense in a busy restaurant. But... removing something by request that is unwanted from the meal and does not affect the recipe or ingredients, should at least be up for discussion, and when agreed upon, actually left off.

Hot turkey sandwich - meat was delicious, but felt the stuffing and gravy were trying too hard to be different and not very tasty. Fish and chips - coating fell off easily and not quite how I expected a beer batter should be. It was much better cold though (as I brought half the order home). Service was great.

The popper burger was the best part of my weekend. Thick, juicy, delicious, and with a massive side of fries that I had no chance of finishing. A worthwhile stop for anyone in the area.

Popped in for lunch this Thanksgiving weekend. Had their Thanksgiving feast. Delicious three course meal of salad, turkey dinner and dessert. Warning. Massive turkey dinner portion. Deliciously homecooked meal. Fantastic service. Highly recommend this place if you are in Wellington.

Just ordered takeout from North Docks and everything was really good. The roasted garlic Caesar was really fresh, the coconut shrimp were giant, and the poutine was legit QC style. Will definitely order from here again - can t wait to check out their patio when it s open.

First chance to get to try North Docks for the season, and was blown away by food. The garlic Caesar was good, especially the final bites with the most garlic. The chowder was not as expected, it was more like broth. The fingers supposed 5 pieces, but missed 1. However, the service was great and the view is wonderful.

My group and I had a terrible experience here. The manager/owner spoke to our group with in an incredibly condescending way. We were looking forward to try the food, but didn t waste our time here.

DO NOT COME HERE. Racist owner/manager. I got refused for just walking through the door. Horrible place very rude staff. Go to lakeside right next to it better view, great food and friendly staff.

My husband had the classic burger and described it as burnt water as if the ground beef was soaked in water before being grilled. Very dry and tasteless. I had the garlic caesar salad with a grilled chicken skewer the salad was okay but the chicken was dry, overcooked and had no taste at all. Our bill came up to ~$36 we didn t buy any drinks and my salad was the small option. Pretty pricey imo. However, our waitress was friendly and the patio is indeed really nice. The place is also very close to Wellington Beach, a nice spot to chill after your meal. My husband and I definitely wouldn t return to North Docks but will definitely be back to visit the beach!

The food was delicious. I had fish and chips, the fish is caught fresh and fileted. I always expect a bone or 2, however I found way more than I like to and it turned me off of my meal because of it. Again it tasted delicious Im just not a fan of a bunch of bones.

The waitress was nice but the food was so gross. I never leave bad reviews but this was particularly disappointing. My husband was told they don t have mayonnaise and it seemed that everything came coated in miracle whip - including the Caesar salad that tasted sweet. We both left our meals uneaten. I feel bad for the waitresses who had to keep apologizing to tables for the long wait for food.

Visited on a busy Summer Sunday and was pleasantly surprised to be able to get a nice table on the patio overlooking the water. The service was quick and the selection of drinks was great, nice to have a cold steamwhistle!! Food was great too, had the pickerel which was well cooked and very tasty. All four of us enjoyed the food and really enjoyed the ambience of the scenic patio, would definitely return and would recommend.

Great atmosphere, good food

Located in Wellington Ontario with a large deck/patio at the rear. Traditional pub fare. Enjoyed the fresh pickerel. Local beers on tap and a good selection of PEC local wines. Wellington is surrounded by vineyards with a broad selection of vines. Best know for Rieslings, Chardonnay in whites and Cabernay Franc, Bacos and Pinot Noirs in reds.

My family came on a busy Saturday lunch and were treated with great customer service! The steak sammy, chicken sammy, and fish and chips were absolutely delicious. We had some leftovers and were happy to take some home with us on the drive back to Toronto :)

It s a very nice restaurant and the kids chicken fingers are shaped like dinosaurs and my kids loved that. Beautiful setting with a nice view.

The food was delicious. We had the fish and chips. The fish wasnt oily and they have their own dill tarter sauce. I also recommend the ceasar salad, the dressing is fantastic.

Food was ok....one issue...the fried were refried and hard as rocks....this happens when you refry frozen fries instead of making new fries. Otherwise....just ok

I came here with a group of 6 for Saturday lunch. Patio seating had nice view and ambience. Staff were nice and friendly. We ordered Cod tacos, coconut shrimps, chicken sammy, steak Sammy, Greek poutine. I had tacos, the cod was nice and crispy, the mangoes were amazing. I wish I could get a side of just the seasoned mangoes. Food came out pretty quick and everything was pretty good and well portioned. We had a nice time!

My husband and I dropped in to this restaurant at the beginning of this month. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. They even have beautiful pillows on the bench seats! I had the baked brie with maple syrup, pecans, baguette and apple slices. My husband had the seafood chowder and chicken wings. We both tried everything and it was absolutely divine. The seafood chowder was an authentic Louisiana style (not spicy) and the seasonings were balanced perfectly. There was lots of seafood in it. The baked brie was so delicious I almost ate the whole thing.. The serving sizes are big and the price is very reasonable for chef inspired dishes. Our server was Morgan and I give her 2 thumbs up. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and a delightful person all around. Thank you for such a great experience, North Docks & Kitchen!

We were visiting the area on our daughters 21 birthday. The restaurant was not very busy at the time. We were very disappointed with the lack of ingredients in our meal. I ordered Nachos and when it was served it was simply a plate if chips with very little ingredients on top..$17 I believe it was! I proceeded to walk inside to address the issue since the waitress was no where around. A lady walked up to me announcing she was the Manager as I stood at the bar. She approached me...then started yelling at me stay back 6 feet...she was not wearing a mask! I informed her about my concern..that this was very dry and we cannot eat it...I left and went back to the table to join my family. As I sat down a very oversized Male approached us within 1 foot... not 6 feet folks and not wearing a mask and asked us to leave the patio because apparently I had no right to address the lack of ingredients on the Nachos. And I was not within 6 feet of the unprofessional manager. Never in our lives was I ever kicked out of a restaurant and needless to say it ruined our daughters 21 birthday. We will make sure not to ever return and will make sure all our friends and family are aware of this situation.

Best lunch option in Wellington in my opinion. Especially during COVID because of the friendly service and spacious dock with a nice view (and a swan family!). We tried the lobster roll, pulled pork, club sandwich, watermelon salad, and of course the duck gnocchi poutine which is the standout on the menu.

Excellent quality food. Really enjoyed the burger and fish and chips. Great meal for COVID times

The waterfront terrace of North Docks Kitchen & Drinks is a scenic and relaxing spot for a summer dinner. I ordered a chicken and barley soup, which was one of the best soups Ive ever had at any restaurant in Canada. It truly looked and tasted homemade, with lots of vegetables and big chunks of chicken. I also had the fish & chips as my main: it was much lighter and less greasy than usual and the coleslaw was excellent. North Docks is easily one of the best spots for a sit-down meal in Prince Edward County.

BEWARE OF THE HAIRY SALADS A group of 6 went to the restaurant earlier today and we each ordered some sort of meal with a side salad. 3/6 people pulled a long hair out of their salads but were too embarrassed to say anything. 1 person told the waitress about the hair in their own salad and was given a new one. Safe to say she didnt eat that second salad.

Honestly you WILL NOT be disappointed no matter what you order on the menu!!!! This place is great from the nice open dining room to the modern look with a rustic twist; you have to eat here if you re on your way by! Great place amazing service and amazing food! Looking forward to my next visit.

Rude staff

Terrible environment with dead mosquitoes beside the table. The server won t allow to change table. Serving drinks 20 minutes after the food (literally after finishing the food already). Won t be here again.

Really suck restaurant.Can not change table. There are a lot of dead mosquitoes around the dining table.Our drinks are serve when our almost finished eating our food.Bad feelling.Please do not continue to buy your good reviews thanks

Good view. Acceptable food. I think the curry mussels just needed a little mixing as I got a big glop of curry paste in my order.

Pleasant patio on the edge of the dock on West Lake at the channel to Lake Ontario, in Wellington Ontario. Tasty pub style food with a nice selection of beers on tap. Excellent burger and Mediterranean wraps with fries enjoyed.

Great service with a great view. Food was excellent as well. I had the donair and some fish tacos. Really couldnt go wrong with any of the choices.

Cute patio. But service was subpar and they were unwilling to accommodate my basic vegetarian request. My friend enjoyed her food but agrees we would likely not go there again.

Stopped for what was just going to be a beer, menu looked good. Service was fast. Beer and food was excellent. Highly recommend the ND roll and fish tacos. Fresh ingredients and so delicious

Loved the location

Place has gone down but the prices have gone up!!! Waitresses used to be chatty and nice....now they all seem very stressed. Donar was a full of lettuce and hardly any meat for $17. Have been coming here for years...will not return!!!

Staff was friendly. Food was tasty. Loads of bees yesterday but not their fault.
