I came to buy some take away beers and you re closed for a function. You re a public house closing to the public is a sin.

Had a couple of pints of their session ale this afternoon - nice beer and friendly staff

Great low alcohol session IPA. 2% and very tasty.

Beers are nice, but the staff are having a power trip - can t let a group enjoy themselves in a quiet bar

Nathan and Chris, were the best staff members - awesome beers, cool vibe, and friendly staff. A perfect hangout spot for any occasion.

Came Thursday night around 7pm and all staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful! Appetisers and cocktails were delish and fantastically priced, would come again!

After getting off a plane with my wife we were tired but found this great place to eat. No ageism here as the bar men provided excellent attentive service answering our questions. The waitress was also exceptional and nothing was too much trouble to cater to our requests and all done with a smile. The free entertainment by the Quiz guy who is such a talented actor for sure, energised us and the crowd. He really can read the crowd and again no ageism here as the customers ranging in ages across the life span were all treated really well and won bonus points at times. Not to mention the food was just the right amount and very, very tasty.

Value for money not worth it. Paid $25 for the vegan share platter (pictured) which was 50% lettuce leaves. It was by no means enough for two people, barely one, despite what the menu indicates. The menu also says hummus but it came out with a different dip (presumably babaganoush). Staff didn t communicate this in terms of preferences but also possible allergies was up to us to figure out what it was. Our food also came out 15 minutes after the other people on our table, despite us ordering first. They also had cooked food which you think would ve taken longer than a plate with lettuce on it. Wouldn t get this again unless someone has a real think about portions and value for money. I will say the artichoke and mushrooms were great, but otherwise extremely disappointing

Staff was incredibly rude. Told us they would ask us to leave if our twin 18 month old boys would be walking around in an empty restaurant again at 4.30pm (at that time they were already in their high chairs). We would have kept them restrained from the offset had it been busy but when we are the only ones in the restaurant and for staff to tell us that, needless to say we left straightaway without finishing our drinks. Great beer but terrible service and staff attitude, we will not be returning.

Wide variety of beers, the place is very nice, both the terrace and the interior. The food was clearly not the strong point.

I love the lunch specials here during the week. Excellent value for money, and quite tasty. Slightly more expensive at dinner. Pictured is the beef nachos and cheeseburger, but the chicken burger is also good.

Loved the sandwich, drink and rib meal

came in for a cocktail and some food after work on the weekend.. parmy came before my drink did so roughly waited half an hour for one drink, little bit sad. nice atmosphere, alright food but staff need to have a little more punctuality when it comes to drinks.

I did find it a bit strange that they didnt open the gate until 12pm on the dot when they start bookings for brunch at 12pm. I can understand the bar being closed but I got there 5 minutes early and would have liked to sit down out of the heat instead of waiting around outside. Weve come here a few times and staff are always great. It was our first time opting for brunch and the offering is well worth the price and so delicious. They have a good menu with a decent range of selections and Ive yet to be disappointed.

Unfortunately a big miss for me in terms of food value, and quality. Organized a group lunch on Sunday (yesterday) as recalled having a great experience before. Ordered the platter for $65 but such an undervalued meal for 2, and the meat was dry and over cooked. Very small quantity of meat for $65, and bread which was more like a panini than a Turkish bread tasted more likely a week old. A big let down, sadly. :(

Brisbane Brewing is really good place for beer enthusiasts. I loved the ambient vibes, great selection of craft beers, great seating and tables. Brewpub or with mates on casual dining with beers, this is great place of choice in city.

New beers every Wednesday, and good pub food. Staff always wonderful.

Great food, great beet and relaxing ambiance

Just had our sons 18th birthday party at Brisbane Brewing at West end. It was fantastic. Great value, food was excellent. Fantastic craft beers and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our night really enjoyable. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to have a small group function. The brisket burgers and buffalo wings are fantastic.

CJ was incredible.

When researching the best Parma in Brisbane, this place was always at the top of the list - and they have priced it accordingly at $30 - probably the most expensive Parma (Parmy) in Australia...yet such a disappointment. Whilst advertised as panko crumbed - it tasted like standard breadcrumbs which burn easily as was evident in the texture - it tasted and looked overcooked like it had been in a deep fryer vs pan/oven cooked. The chips were dry with no sauce provided and the slaw a disappointment when a salad would have been more refreshing as hard cabbage with hard schnitzel is just not hitting the right balance. I feel this venue has ridden on the coat tails of past success and praise yet the current Parma on offer is not a pleasant dish to have and youd be better off exploring other options. If a venue is known for a dish, then it should continually excel at that dish, as people come with that expectation. I for one, will definitely not be returning.

I was so impressed with Brisbane Brewing Co. We were visiting Brisbane from country QLD and came here on a Friday night with a booking for 12 and I could not fault them. The table was ready and comfortable, the staff were friendly and efficient, meals were quick, food was totally delicious (we had brisket burgers) and very reasonably priced, atmosphere great. Every one of us was very impressed. Well done!

I have been a regular here for years and its my favourite watering hole with great food to boot. All the staff are lovely especially Louie. Fantastic vibes and drinks. Best bar in West End and definitely one of the best hangouts on Brisbane.

The staff here are friendly and their alcohol free beer is the best.

Steak was not great and the veggies where over cooked plus past their best. Avoid the pepper sauce. The pub was nice and the drinks where fine.

Absolutely love this place! Kickass outdoor seating, local/chill vibes, excellent music, and great grub. I highly recommend the Raspberry Sour and the Brissy Pale Ale. Louis, Ian, and Kat always provide a fun experience. 5 stars deep 100%.

Vegetarian nachos are to die for

Bartenders and service in general was amazing, only reason Im giving two stars. Food on the other hand, was one of the worst experiences Ive had in Brisbane. Ive been in hospo for 6 years usually Im very understanding, but this was next level, to the point Ive made an account to share my experience. Parmy was dry af, aioli was pretty much coloured water with no flavour, gravy was as if it had been under a heat lamp all day, chicken wings had no sauce. The veg food was next level horrible, pretty much chook food. I understand the kitchen was closing soon, but if it was such an inconvenience Id rather be told food was over so we could have gone elsewhere. Chefs were hot though so Ill give em that.

Great range of food options at the venue and friendly staff

Our group of 6 got here just 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and the staff were kind enough to accept our multiple orders. Food was good, drinks are very reasonably priced, music was so good and all the staff were absolutely lovely. 10/10 would recommend

No longer good. Beer is cheap (quality) and food is nothing to get excited about, with tiny portions ($5 for a side of fries done in three mouthfuls). Much better places nearby.

Great beers and awesome food and service

I has a great time celebrating my birthday there. The host was very kind and looked after my guests. Also, they have a delicious vegan burger!

We came in for the bottomless brunch on Sunday and were honestly so impressed. I would highly recommend this brunch offering over others in the area, if you are looking for something non-pretentious with a relaxed atmosphere. We thought it was such good value, there was a great range of delicious beers and cider available, as well as wines and mimosas. We also got two platters, one meat and one vegan so there are great options for different dietaries. Unlimited fries are a great touch as well!! What I really liked about this bottomless brunch is that it doesnt really start at a set time, as long as you get there between 12 and 3 you can start the three hour package! The staff are super friendly and really helpful and we just had a great time. The only thing I would say was the sleepy acoustic play list was a bit of a downer but once this was changed over we honestly had a perfect afternoon. So thank you to the lovely staff working on the 10/4, and we cant wait to be back!

$20 rump steaks (300g) on Tuesday nights.

A group of 4 of us came here a couple of weeks ago and had a great time! We had one of each sharing board, everything on them was delicious and we even discovered some things we d never had before on the vegan board. Drinks wise, you re spoilt for choice with the tap beers on offer, I think we worked our way through most of them. My mum doesn t drink beer, so she had a designated driver brunch for around $30 and bought her gin as she went. Special mention to Dom, who was extremely attentive and really knowledgeable. He helped mum out with the gins and provided excellent service throughout the 3 hours we were there. We all really enjoyed the afternoon and would definitely recommend!

Nice food and atmosphere. Variety choices of fresh craft beers on tap. Though staff behind bar counter repeatedly asking to check check-in app everytime ordered a drink. Overall recommended to try out their weekly dinner specials with a pint or two of their freshly brewed craft beers.

Decent beers, my fav drink was the hills cider from South Australia . Veg nachos were delicious . On the smaller side but they use the space well for being in the city. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

Went for the $69 bottomless brunch, it didn t disappoint, all beers except for the IPA & RIS (due to their ABV) were included (you could also get house wine, cider ect) as much fries potato or sweet potato as you like and 2 share platters (we had 4 people). Beers we re all tasty and the food didn t disappoint

Stunning beers and a lovely location

I made a group booking on a Sunday for a large group. Although we had to update the venue 3 times with changes, they allocated us a great space with plenty of room near the bar! Staff were friendly, great ambience and the food was great! To top it off, the drinks selection is amazing and all my friends found something!

Best place for a beer and some finger foods price is reasonable

The beers are great. Great vibe in the place and I enjoy the decor. 2 stars have been removed due to the ridiculously overpriced food. We ordered a poutine from the bar and it was average. Gravy was watery, curd was ok and chips were cold by the time it got there. Ordinarily, I wouldnt be worried about it? But the bowl of chips with bacon cost us $22! If you want food, go elsewhere, I got a burger and chips at a other establishment for $23 total... so please est before you go here. Mind blowingly overpriced! But please go here for the beer.

Great value bottomless brunch for 2 hours. Food is great, staff are friendly and very welcoming. They do only have one bar which you have to get drinks from with all other venue patrons.

Nice atmosphere and costumer service. However, cocktails were below average at most. I guess I should ve known as that isn t their specialty but still a waste of my money.

Terrible experience and one that will ensure that I recommend that anyone going to West End should go to any bar but this one. The person who served the beer and took the order was great. The food seemed to be good, but I only took a few bites before leaving in astonishment about the appalling customer service of the person who brought the meal to the table. He was devoid of common sense, lacking in any customer service skills, and was most clearly not communicating as though he had any interest in how his actions reflected on the reputation of the venue. If youre willing to put up with terrible service from at least one of the staff, give it a try. Otherwise, give it a miss.

Food and beer was excellent. Well priced and great atmosphere.

I wish them well as life running a small brewery is hard. However the staff, who are evidently not interested in their jobs, are awful (no beer knowledge and over-charged us). The beer is just too expensive for people to go there for a session.

Brisbane Brewing more like Brisbane spewing, steak - overcooked and dry. Little to no seasoning. Chicken burger had max crunch but really poor undercooked chicken. 6 beer tasting plate stayed in the bar without service for 10 minutes. All chips bd or side were over cooked and has no substance. Would not reccomend

Pretty good set up. One particular staff member was quite rude especially if you didnt know which beer to order - the rest seemed ok. Food prices were a but higher than other venues. They getting a tad demanding when your time comes to leave your table. I get other places do this, but no where in the confirmation email or when we arrived did it mention a 2 hour limit.

Place has a nice feel to it. They have made a lot of effort to make the feel different to the other micro brewery setup. Mates and I ordered food and wasnt disappointed by the size to cost. I personally had the chicken parmy, which didnt disappoint but also felt quite grease and lack luster.

Terrible service which made the whole night unenjoyable. We had never been there before so after we signed in using the QR codes out the front we walked up towards the main seating area inside, there was no one standing there so we didnt know where to go (this would not have been an issue for me if the service was not so bad). We were yelled at to stop where we were and a man said are you expecting to get a seat, cant you see how busy we are- to which I apologised and said we hadnt been here before and didnt know where to go to get a seat. He completely ignored this and accused us of not checking in, we all showed him our check in screens, he then demanded to see ID (understandable, however the way he asked was very impolite). The bartender was very clearly drunk and we saw him doing multiple shots whilst serving people. The food is overpriced for the quality and portion serving and takes a while to get out. Overall a bad experience and we will not be returning. I have never felt so unwelcome in West End before.

Hands down, Brisbane s best Chicken Parmy. Always an interesting selection of beers on tap as well (and the staff are always willing offer suggestions), but the food is the main show. Have loved everything I ve tried off the menu to date, but seriously - make sure at least one person in the group gets a Parmy!

One of the first and still brewing happily

Sunday lunch crew has given an underwhelming experience! We arrived at 1200 for lunch and were left waiting for over 10 minutes to get drinks and be seated (There was only about 4-5 people in front of us). The food. We got the seafood board share plate. The chips and salad were the best this on the plate. The calamari was average, the fish looked huge but was mostly batter and the prawns were by far the worst prawns I have ever been served in a restaurant. The dressing on the prawns was fairly bland and the prawns tasted like they were about to turn. When we were about to leave we told the waiter that the prawns were bad and he didn t seem to care. The waiter also gave us the hurry along when we tried to get a family photo when leaving. Hopefully this is not the usual standard of the place,

Best espresso martinis in West end. They do jugs

TLDR. Best espresso martini jugs in town! Especially for a brewery! The staff were reluctant at first but slowly came round to our incessant request to access their secret menu, jug of espresso martini; 3 shots Kahlua, 3 shots spiced rum, 6 shots espresso, shaken in two shakers by the single bar attendant with a ten deep line, poured into a jug over ice, ten chilled pots. Will provide update on a dusting of nutmeg from the kitchen once the head cheff goes on break from a full dinner service. Update; kitchen actually didnt have nutmeg, but the wholefoods store down the road did. Best jugotini ever!

Brisbane Brewing Co. are amazing the selection of drinks is top notch and the food is out of this world! I highly recommend the BREWERS BOARD it is delicious! The service is impeccable, we are usually greeted by the always smiling and always chilled manager K-Love. On top of the food and drinks, the music is great! In particular the Blues playlist that they play always sets a great chilled and relaxed vibe!

Friendly staff and great service - Brisbane Brewing Co was a good choice for our Christmas Party as everyone enjoyed themselves

Visited here on a trip up from Melbourne, and over 4 days, this has to be the worst place that we ended up eating. I dont normally like giving bad reviews but I was frustrated by the end of the night. Arriving at mostly empty restaurant we got seated,and got a great table with accommodating our 10 month old baby. We requested that its his dinner time if they could bri g the vege skewers first. It was simple and quick. The pub started filling up and after 20 mintues we asked where our skewers are and requested it once again. Other peoples foods that its arrive. People that arrived much after us yet still no sign of those skewers after 30 minutes we asked again, nothing 40, 50. Finally, when I threatened to leave, did the manager go and get the skewers. After which they disappeared did not serve our table even water. It was not until another 20 minutes that are Chicken Parmas arrive. They were mediocre to say the least. The chicken was soggy and it just didnt feel fresh. Not only that, they served me the one with the ham when I specifically requested no ham, it was after I took the first bite that I realised that they had given me the wrong plate with ham. I mentioned this to the manager. Pretty bad if you dont eat ham. Was lucky I was not allergic. Blunder in my books After that our entrees came which was the calamari. Once again it was clear to tell this was commercial calamari and had no sense of freshness. Finally I went and asked for water which I got. Everything was very mediocre. The service was atrocious. I would not recommend this place.
