A fantastic find. Great place to stop for a drink.

The lager beer and Korean sauce wings that I had recommended by the staff were all delicious. The prices were reasonable, and as a Korean, I sometimes dont like Korean sauces, but here, the taste was like spicy chicken and rice cake skewer sauce, so I enjoyed it very much. All the staff were friendly and the atmosphere of the store was great.

Food was amazing as per usual. However the lady serving us was extremely rude, looked depressed and didn t want to be there. Was no welcome, very miserable.

We went in at 7pm for food after checking online that they were open. After choosing what we wanted we were told by the bar staff that the kitchen had just shut. So we left. A wasted trip.

We didn t eat, we just dropped in for a cold beer. Service was great and the beer was pretty bloody good

Nice beers and in a good central location in West End. We had the sour and larger and both were faultless. We didn t eat so can t comment on the food. No coasters which is a little pet peeve haha, but would go back!

Beers were mediocre, service was okay. Front bar was very full and had a good vibe for a Friday lunchtime.

The beer was very good, and the food is the best that I have had in a Brew Pub.

I dont usually write such bad reviews but feel I a must given the circumstances. Today, I stopped by to grab a drink. Walked up to the bar and the lady on shift totally ignored us. She carried on eating and scrolling on social media. I waited a while to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she still didnt look up to serve us. Being on social media at work whilst customers are waiting for a drink isnt a good look for the business. Never got a drink so cant comment on that. Wouldnt come by again on the basis that staff dont seem to want business. Shame as it looked decent.

Just spent fathers day afternoon here. Got to say the service was amazing. The beer was delicious and the staff were fantastic. The staff know what they are talking about and care about the customer. Hugely Recomend this place.

Food was amazing and the atmosphere is great. The two local beers I had all night tasted great and the service was very friendly, fast, and prompt to clear empty glasses. Shame the mens bathroom (upstairs) is a bit buggered being lockless and small but thats my only complaint

On a hot day, it is a great place to simply enjoy a beer It was my first time here, and trying the recommended beer was wonderful

We had a wonderful experience here at Catchment. The staff were accommodating and efficient. The drinks were delicious, dogs allowed outside and gin paddles on offer!

I celebrated my birthday there and it was PERFECT. They reserved an area for us and we had the best time. Staff is very nice and the bar amazing.

We went there for lunch and was expecting just a pub meal, but the meals we had were absolutely fantastic! So delish! Staff were great and cheerful! Can t wait to go back!

We were looking somewhere to eat in the West End. After looking at a few places we came across The Catchment. We were drawn in by the service and banter with Brock who was just amazing. Excellent food and beers, thank you Brock, we will be back.

Had a great night out with good beers and good food until something had to be returned due to quality issues. The pizza was unfortunately uneatable because of the salt content and the lack of cheese. Do recommend, though I hope conflict management can be improved by employees.

I have previously been a loyal repeat customer until today. The bartender Pat was incredibly rude and confrontational and for no reason. Will not he returning.

We had my daughters 21st party upstairs in the Hidden Windows bar. It was perfect. Private with own bar, bathroom and balconies overlooking the street. Brock was fantastic in organising the food and drinks which everyone enjoyed. Great staff and we all had a wonderful night. We will definitely consider another celebration here in the future.

Great atmosphere. Menu has something for every diet. Lots of different brew options too, and out the back are enormous vats of brew being, yeah--brewed! Very positive staff, venue manager Brock is heaps helpful, and the upstairs dining area is beautiful too--highly recommended for functions in the heart of West End.

We were here for lunch on a Wednesday. Best burgers! Flavour ratio on the Brisket burger was spot on. Beers were awesome. Tasted IPA, Raspberry Sour, We Are Red, and the Cow Tipper. Great vibe, fab staff. Will be back!

Good Old Fashioned Service! I dined with some friends this week and have to say our experience was made extra special with the way Brock looked after us, friendly and knowledgeable about the micro brewery and made to feel so welcome! This is how I remember pubs use to be, Thankyou Brock!

Ros was the best bartender Ive ever had in recent memory. Incredibly helpful, will be back again.

The portion size of our mains and salads were absolutely tiny. The taste was really nice but the salad was about ten bites. Salads were side salad size. Barramundi and mashed was also tasty but small and served with mashed potatoes only, no veg. Would not eat here again. Dietary restrictions: Really limited on GF options.

Beers were great & staff just as amazing. Didnt have the best experience with my food. Dont suggest the calamari, but after talking to the wonderful gal FOH i was sorted out with another delish beer to make up for the iffy dish i was given. Definitely recommend this place for a banging IPA, not convinced on the food yet but burgers looked amazing, so go for them instead of anything from the deep fryer!

Terrible service, the QR sign was hidden at the bar and the only staff member was rude when asked where to sign in. Shame as we really wanted to try the beers on offer. He could have been having a bad day, but seemed disinterested unless you were local. Hopefully the brewers that put the effort in to make the beers are happy employing such unhelpful and disgruntled staff.

Fantastic choices for beer and wonderful staff. We held my partners 50th birthday at the venue, closing off the back section and it was incredibly well organized and left everyone 100%impressed. I would strongly recommend Catchment equally for a Sunday afternoon session and a couple of snacks with beer or a special occasion for up to 100 people. Their own beers are amazing and the choices of other craft beers are almost as high class!! Love being a regular here.

Hosted our Sons 21st birthday party in the upstairs function room at Catchment for approx 80 guests. Great and highly recommendable venue. Brock the Functions Manager was excellent, very professional and service orientated as were all the staff. The food (share boards) were superb and the selection of craft beers on tap thoroughly enjoyed by all. Top marks all around.

Made a mistake with my GF order but happily corrected this with no fuss and offered me a free round on them as way of compensation. The food for my G/f non gf and my own when it came were both delicious and the bar and kitchen staff were polite and friendly despite the mix up. Couldnt recommend more. Had G/F beers (variety) in the fridge as well. Very pleased

Upon walking in took five minutes for staff to acknowledge me and the two other people waiting at the bar. Bar guy had a bit of an attitude, I thought their own beer is fairly average but the venue itself is reasonably nice.

Every time we go here we are greeted with the best service. Very consistent and friendly staff and awesome drink selection. Still have to try the food but great establishment to regularly visit for a drink or two.

Had my 21st here a while ago and everything was fantastic, able to set up the space how I wanted and was really great with the projector, food and cheese! Came back recently for a beer and just as good as I remember!

The service here is awful. I was greeted by a short man behind the bar who was incredibly rude and patronising. At one point there were about 10 people waiting to be served while he and another staff member stood around a laptop at the end of the bar chatting. I didnt want to spend another 10 dollars on a drink with this terrible rude customer service. Real shame because the building is great, but the staff really let it down.

Yeah, bit of an attitude problem and indifference with the staff. Try to order a cocktail at the upstairs bar and get told nah cant do them up here, have to go downstairs. That s fine. Go downstairs, bartender says no its 10:10pm, cant make you a cocktail. He s not exactly busy, just kinda milling around. Feels like an arbitrary time to cut off making cocktails on a Friday night? It s a bar, isn t it? Go back upstairs and bartender switches on all the lights and asks everyone to go back downstairs while we ve just started on a beer.

Hired their Hidden Windows space for my 21st and it was awesome! Good value for money, lovely space, delicious food and the staff were wonderful and accommodating definitley recommend !!!!!

Bearded bloke behind the bar was amazing. Bought a growler, helped me choose the beer to fill it with. I then bought a can of ancient Egyptian red ale, but before I left asked if I would like to try a small taste on tap. This is respecting ur customers. If ur in West end id highly recommend the experience.

2.5 STARS Under staffed, waited 30 minutes for a drink to be made on a quiet night. Would have given 1 star if the beer wasn t good. Serving multiple others before making a single drink. Service was so slow they were almost going backwards.

Terrible service, the bartender doesn t know what hospitality means! Is a shame for a business to have people like that, they could make a difference in the experience, also the job as FOH is to sell and sell a lot, and is easy with the right attitude. This guy pretending to be a cool hipster is in the wrong industry, maybe selling tractors or Bunnings. But hospitality comes from hospitable. Breweries are everywhere, nothing special. In every corner there is a Pub, in the other corner is a bottle shop, but what make a place special is the service, the ambiance, the people!

Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good selection of beers - some even quite tasty to someone who absolutely detests the taste of beer but will drink it anyways for the sake of it (i.e., myself).

Thought wed try this out. It was busyish,scanned walked then was told we need to see you have scanned. I told him I did but was refused service so we left for another bar which was much friendlier. If you dont mind rudeness go here. I wont be back.

I wouldn t rate customer service. The attendants are plainly rude. The bar will remain empty because of the staff attitude. If the manager is reading this, check your staff are doing the right thing otherwise this nice setting will go to waste!

Blahhh. Such a disappointment to hospitality. Refused me service as they wouldnt offer any other sign in option other than the app. Was told I legally had to sign in with the app... Continued to refer to my female partner as male after I mentioned she was female. There are so many great places to support in West End that have vibe and personality and incredible service. Try one of those instead.

Had a delicious lunch here today, friendly service and super fast too. Highly recommend.

With fantastic beer, delicious food and out and out hospitality professionals, you cant go wrong. Brock, a wonderfully helpful bloke, was able to pull beers, offer food recommendations and manage a growing line of patrons behind us with ease and the affability of 5 star hotel concierge. A truly enjoyable experience which will have us back before long.

Sorry to give such a bad review Im sure this place is normally very good based on the other reviews. Last night four of us popped in for a quick drink and the young barman was rude, harsh and abrupt when taking our order. He stormed around the bar angry creating an unpleasant atmosphere. Since our four drinks cost $62 i expected better service. Couldnt wait to leave and we definitely didnt order a second round. Not in a hurry to return.

Brendan was one of the best servers I have ever had. So polite, funny and knows how to make an amazing drink quickly.

Beer and venue are great. Customer service from 1 particular staff member was average and would have spent more money on merch other wise.

I think the manager just got made redundant. Waiters running around and ate trying but have no idea whats going on. First meal came out after half an hour, second meal after an hour when we just stood up to leave. Shame the food was good as we wont be coming back.

Bad experience. We ordered a beer jar, they gave us the glasses, signed in for the covid protocol and sit down on a table. 10 min later a very rude employee kicked us out because the jar was meant for a take away (that obviously we didn t know and nobody told us that when we ordered) and we were not allowed to drink it there. He refused changing the order and did not even let us finish what we had in our glasses.

Was keen to discover their beers but some guy who worked there covered in tatts was so rude to us and rushed. Wont be back.

Had a roaring afternoon with shipmates at this establishment. The owner was very accommodation of our large group setting up space on short notice and guiding us were it was safe to leave our boat. No mead for sale, however the local beers brewed onsite where worth raiding. Great food, quick service.

Ordered food which was quite slow. It took 40 mins. The tempura chicken was advertised on the the menu under Large Plates. 3 small pieces of chicken some crispy parsnip shavings which were called chips and a small amount of kale dropped on top. Poor portion size. Good selection of tasty beers but wouldnt return for food.

Catchment is always an absolute pleasure. Recently I came here and enjoyed a dutch Gose. A lot of knowledgeable staff behind the bar and the stuff made in-house is of a great quality too. Good alternative to some of the larger micro-breweries in Brisbane.

I recently booked for a table of 10 and noticed after I booked on facebook they created a ribs special which looked amazing. I just send a quick FB msg to See if they were able to recreate this meal for my booking as the birthday boy loves Ribs. I then get a call a day prior to my booking and they had ordered ribs in especially for my group booking. Michael went above and beyond for us. The ribs defiantely werent a let down. They were perfectly cooked and not sickly sweet and smothered to death with sauce. One of the best beef ribs ive had. The slaw with charcoaled corn was also amazing. Oh and my partner also rated the beers highly. Thanks for a great night... we will be back.

Thank you for having so many vegan options on the menu. I had the burger and it was great! Always a huge plus when a bar is plastic straw free! It is a cool venue with friendly staff. Great location. I had wine, but my partner tried some of their beers that are brewed on site which he really liked.

Catchment did a fantastic job of our wedding reception. We had 35 people for a seated dinner in the upstairs room, Hidden Windows. The room is nicely decorated and they were happy for us to bring additional decorations to get it just right. We got some great photos out on the balcony that overlooks the front of the venue. The venue plays great music and also gave us the option of playing our own Spotify playlist. We did both throughout the night The head chef, Mike, sat down with us to figure out what type of meal we wanted. He was great at coming up with ideas and showing us how everything would look. On the day, the food was prepared perfectly and our guests loved it. When Mike overheard a few people talking about how good the calamari was, he sent them out an extra one :) It goes without saying, but the beer was great. There was room for 4 different beers on the taps in our room. I think their Pale Select is a good choice that most people will enjoy. In addition to all of the above, I need to mention Mike saving us from a mini disaster. When our cake was delivered, it was in much worse shape than what we d ordered and we later got a refund for it. In a very short amount of time Mike managed to fix it up and get it back to being presentable. The before and after photos are very impressive We had a great night at Catchment and highly recommend it!

My favourite place in Brisbane. The beer is fantastic and the staff are so helpful in talking you through whats on offer and clearly know what theyre talking about. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my night here.. everything from the vibe to the alcohol and most of the service was incredible. Unfortunately there was a chef who I knew and didn t eat along with well who made a point of saying hi.. in that passive aggressive way.. and then proceeded to send out my medium rare steak as a bit of jerky... apart from that was impressed with the sides offered with the meals as my bartenders knowledge. Would ve been 5 stars if a guy didn t decide to bring a grudge to work.

This morning I dropped past for a coffee. Whilst the team love to make Beer (brewing co and all) they also made a great coffee. Thanks for the laugh, the coffee and the quick tour of your brilliant function room and beer garden complete with brewery!

Some great beers brewed on site, plenty of seating around the place upstairs, out the front and back. Pretty reasonable food selection too. Worth a visit

Ordered the $18 Reuben and was impressed. Sourdough was thick cut and clearly high quality artisan. Shoestrings were hot and fresh. Vegan aioli was tasty.

Great ambience for a Thursday evening as we were able to enjoy our meal while still being able to enjoy the music. Im guessing they would be flat out over the weekend though. They have a good range of options on their share plates and the barman was well versed with all his craft beers. They dont have table service and one has to order from the bar however, our food was prepared quickly! All in all, its a good spot to go for dinner during the week or possibly drinks as they are a microbrewery and have an awesome selection of beers on tap!

This is probably the most underrated craft brewery in Brisbane. Amazing food and delicious ales. A hidden gem in West End!

The Oatmeal Stout was great as an after work drink. Topped that off with the Pale Ale and Mushroom Pizza for dinner. Great beer and pizza. Nice place.

The Catchment Brewing Co in situated in the heart of west end. They brew their own beer onsite and sell it for a reasonable price. Atmosphere and staff are excellent however the food is rather lackluster and overpriced. That aside an excellent place.

One of the best beers I have ever tasted would be the lemon myrtle pale ale - it s like unicorns are dancing on your tongue. Really beautiful micro brewery/beer garden out the back and love the upstairs bar too. Very friendly, professional and attentive staff with a good selection of food.

Amazingly welcomed with this cute table reservation sign Only downside- staff were a little too keen to clear tables and removed a dips plate and a whiskey that we were still working on :(

Came in for lunch today with my family. Was forced to ask for a refund as the establishment failed to provide any acceptable vegetarian options. There were no specials available (no salads, burgers or pastas) and only one vegano option which I did not find palatable. I went to order the fritters but was told after I paid that they had run out. I asked if the chef could make another vegetarian alternative but was confronted with outright rejection. The staff were rude and showed no empathy for my situation nor would take any responsibility for the inability to meet basic customer needs. Seriously disappointed with the level of service provided; particularly in view of the refined and deconstructed menu accompanied by the obvious lack of skill and initiative to make a simple vegetarian meal.

I loved the fruity tasting beer and the croquettes. It was very dark upstairs and we asked for candles. We still had to use the torch of our phones to read the menu...

What a catch! Where to sit - business out back with the brewery tanks, party up front with the live entertainment. Views of the ever changing West End streetscape from the upstairs balcony, too. Great beer selection of house and guest brews on tap. Solid menu, if a little expensive, but good portions of tasty filling food. Love to come back and linger - youve caught another regular here.

As someone who loves traveling and trying local beer I really enjoyed Catchments sampler selection. They had a great vibe, friendly staff and nice decor. Would definitely recommend.
