2/79 Boundary St, West End QLD 4101, Australia
Well-known locale with traditional Chinese noodle dishes, stir-fries & dumplings, plus dim sum.
Quirky little restaurant with genuine Shanghainese dishes, service could be improved but atmosphere friendly enough
Had an incredible experience! The variety of dishes was truly impressive. From the flavorful stir-fried greens to the succulent meat dish in a rich, dark sauce, every bite was delicious. The fried calamari was perfectly crispy and seasoned, and the accompanying rice and beverages tied the meal together wonderfully. The presentation of each dish was top-notch, making the meal as visually appealing as it was tasty. I highly recommend Lilong West End for anyone looking for a diverse and satisfying dining experience!
Great place! We fell in love with the dan dan noodles which was not too spicy but the bright spice of the szechuan peppercorn shines through the rich peanut sauce. We also enjoyed the peking-style pork that paired well with the pancake wraps and sticky rice dumplings. Get the milk tea to help wash the spice from the dandan. We were lucky it was a bit cool when we came so prepare for the open area.
Lilong West End is always busy. The food are pretty good. Environment and hygiene wise is clean. There are lots of food options. The staffs were very nice and patient as well. The only thing is that the seatings were a bit small and squishy.
Authentic restaurant with lots of outdoor undercover seating. The snow pea sprouts were delicious and the dumplings were very good too. The fried rice was less flavourful than I expected, we ordered chili oil to go with it which was perfect. Overall a good place for dumplings but it was on the expensive side.
📍Location - Located at Soda Factory in Westend. Convenient location with free parking spots available. 🤵🏻♀️Service - recommend pre-book online in advance. Easy to do so via online platform from google map link. Below average service quality. The waiter and waitress were not passionate at all… can tell they just want to get the job done, get paid and go home. The serving speed of the dishes was shocking… the cold dishes came out pretty fast, like within 10 mins. However, dishes get served at a variable times. 10 mins wait - we got the drunken chicken cold dish, another 10 mins wait - garlic cucumber, another 15mins for the dessert, then finally with a few prompts here comes the braised meat ball after 30 mins. Almost like a fine dining experience… where you have one dish served and waited (ages) for another. 🍽️ Food - 🥒Garlic cumember - taste was ok, good portion size but quite oily 🍗Drunken chicken - very small portion size, taste ok, the meat was not too smooth/tendor as I was expecting 🍖Braised Meat Ball - nothing special, do not recommend this dish at all 🍡 Glutinous Balls in Fermented Rice Wine Soup - my favourite dessert. Only $8. Highly recommended!!!!!!! The glutinous balls with sesame fillings 🥰 huge portion as well ✏️Overall everything was quite average. Long waiting times between dishes. If I visit this restaurant again in the future, that’s purely for the dessert!!!!
Beautiful food, absolutely my fav chinese restaurant to bring family and friends here. Parking is super easy, nice location tho. Price can be a little expensive but reasonable enough. The downside is food doesnt come out at the right time, we ordered quite a few things but vegies came really late when we had almost finished everything else. Booking system did not work, i received a booking confirmation in my email, but when i came, staff couldn't find my booking in their ipad! Staff was ok but little unattentive, we had to wave our hands a few times to get attention!
Another typical warm winter day in Brissie. After wandering around the bookstores at Boundary St, we had lunch here on Wednesday arvo. Ordered Flash Fried Shredded Eel with Bamboo Shoots, Smoked Fish, Drunken Chicken with Shao Hsing Wine, Flash Fried Snow Pea Sprouts with King Oyster Mushrooms, and Steamed rice. The two entrees-Smoked Fish &Drunken Chicken- were not too bad, but a little bit mediocre; however, the Fried Eel &Veggies were pretty good. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!
Been here several times. All the dishes are so impressive! Especially the crab! So fresh and so amazing!
delicious
Fabulous place to get authentic chinese food and a wide range of selection. The staff were super friendly and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
Fried dumplings are very yum
Very delicious, served quickly and tastes good
It tastes great and Im glad I ate here.
good chinese food
Food and drink is so delicious and well priced!! Also big serving! Make sure to book before you come since its really busy Food : 5/5
I come from Shanghai. I LIKE MY favorite live Baeramund Fish So yummy and the others all good will come again
Really enjoyed this restaurant! Got a craving for Shanghai food and a few Google searches later, ended up here. Their xiao long bao may be the best in Brisbane right now. Nearly everything we tried surpassed our expectations. A tad on the expensive side for the level of decor youre sitting in. I imagine it would be quite warm and uncomfortable in the summer, so would recommend you pick a nice autumn or spring evening to come. Parking: Free street parking depending on time of day/week. Otherwise 2 free hours at Soda Factory parking lot.
Amazing food, served quickly and staff are lovely. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dumpling options and they are tasty! Food : 5/5 |
nice food fantastic service Dietary restrictions: you can tell them to exclude the ingredients that you dont like in lots of dishes Food : 5/5 |
Delicious
The interior decoration is nice~
Very delicious highly recommended
expensive and not good
Duck tastes terrible = = Very small portion, no meat at all I still have to spend 40$ to be angry. The xiaolongbao is okay but it s almost the same as Yum cha But it all smells like pig, I don t like it Then the clerk will just stand around and chat. There is a cup on the table but no water I was a bit dumbfounded and will never eat here again. I gave two stars because the xiaolongbao wasn t terrible, but it wasn t great either.
Best dumplings and service. My friend and I were looking for a place and . This is the place ladies and gentlemen.
Delicious food! Great eggplant and dumplings
The food is very good.
i will say food is quite goos but service are a little but slow and sometimes they forgot what you said i think it because the restaurant got a lof customers but just few services.
Theres only outside undercover seating unless you book a table inside. Theres plenty of parking and its 2 hours free. Food was quite good and looking forward to coming back to try more.
The menu we ordered was perfect! There were so many things I wanted to eat, it was difficult to choose.
Came here at a rainy day. Not very comfortable to eat here. The food is just acceptable.
H04 or something, the meat menu is really delicious. The harmony between the tenderness of the meat and the sauce is amazing.
They charged nearly $73.60 or 78.60 once delivered for fried riced rice and wagu beef cubes. The prawns in the rice were completely raw. Uber didnt help much so I called the store. They could care less and were not solution orientated and didnt care or ask any questions about the food safety issue. It was just call uber. Well here comes food some poisoning.. great! I even offered to send photos but they were not interested.
It was a very pleasant dining experience. Although the serving speed was a bit slow, all the dim sum were freshly handmade, very fresh and delicious! The black pepper crab with rice cakes was also particularly tasty. My favorite was the shrimp balls they were large and had a nice, firm texture. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it with five stars!
So goooddd
Well mannered staff and the food was amazing. The seating was a bit cramped, but still had a good meal. Food
Great food, Great service at a reasonable price!
A place offering alfresco Shanghainese dining with top-notch service and authentic cuisine thats bustling even on a Monday is definitely something special. If youre thinking of returning or recommending it to others, it s clear that this restaurant is a standout in the area.
Good restaurant. Order the Xiao Long Bao, Sheng Jian Bao, egg yolk tofu, and diced wagyu beef cubes with black pepper
Delicious food
Always great food. Quality and quantity is good to share around with family or group of friends.
Visited today and it was absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend more
The food is amazing. Every dish we ordered was tasty and delicious. Would certainly recommend.
Nice view, normal service, food looks good however test lower than average, not worth
Food is excellent boiled fish super delicious service is good
Delicious food, great service, very friendly staff. Highly recommended
A very delicious Shanghainese dish! The taste has always been great and the portions are great~ Please come eat here if you re ever looking for quality Chinese around West End
Our new favourite Chinese restaurant. Authentic Shanghainese with modern vibe. Been there couple of times and the food were consistently well. The service is always satisfying. Kid s cutlery and toys is available.
Slow!!!! Just toooo slow. And what is it being asked to provide a phone number to make an order? I ordered two soups to take away and waited and waited and waited. It was half an hour before closing time not peak service. Noodles for the soup so over cooked they fell apart. Flavor of soup ok but nothing brilliant. Baby wontons in soup at least not over cooked but really nothing special. Flavors in soup too fishy for non fish soup. Just very ho-hum.
One of the best Shanghainese restaurants we have ever been to. Really enjoyed the food, the service, and the vibe.
Delicious food and friendly service people ~
Great food! Ordering is easy and all the food was tasty and fresh
One of the best Chinese restaurants in the whole Brisbane area, crabs and shrimps are extremely fancy! ! Highly recommended to everyone wants to try some Chinese food!
The food was excellent and came out very fast. Not too busy and service was very nice. Would definitely come back for more.
I recently visited Linong Restaurant and was very impressed. The quality of the food is top notch and every dish is delicious and unforgettable. In addition, the restaurant environment is also very comfortable and pleasant, adding a lot of pleasure to dining. Overall, Linong Restaurant is a great place to linger, highly recommended!
Great experience overall. Premium beef cubes was the standout dish.
Good service and food. I like the environment here
Best Chinese food in West End. Amazing service and lovely people. Definitely will be there soon.
We pre-booked our table for 6:30pm and they made us leave at 7:19pm (less than 1 hour!) We made booking beforehand for 6:30pm and arrived on time. They did not warn us about any dining time limits when we booked. However, only AFTER we have ordered our meals, the male waiter tells us that we had to leave within 1hr, as they want to seat more customers in an hour s time. How rude of him to ask customers to leave within 1 hour especially when we have pre-booked the table beforehand! The waiter said to us, if we want more time to dine, we could move from our current table for 6, to another table of 6 . We asked him whether another customer has specifically requested for the table we are at? He said no they just wanted to sell this particular table again in 1 hour s time. So many things were wrong with the whole conversation: 1) You are asking customers who pre-booked the table to leave within 1 hr, so you can sell it again to other people who did not make booking? 2) You did not pre-warn us when we made the booking that we had to finish our meal within 1 hour. 3) Which restaurant only gives their customer 1hour to order, wait for food, eat?? To the male, chubby, not very tall, Asian waiter who works dinner shift on Fridays. If you are constantly pushing people to finish their meal within 1hour and hurrying people while they eat, it does not matter if you sound polite or apologetic , you are still extremely rude!
A great find especially when you want excellent Chinese cuisine. We took the scallion noodles and the spicy fish soup and we were blown away by the flavors. Portions were generous and we left very happy. Will definitely be back again!
Hands down, the BEST Xiao Long Bao I have ever had. Great spot, easy to find parking. The Pan Fried pork buns were also absolutely divine. Great spot for a casual meet, a date, a business or family function. Cant wait to get back!
Best Chinese in Brisbane. Takes me back to China every time I eat here
Food is great and full of taste. We were very satisfied. Service is pretty low. It is hard to get to talk to someone for ordering.
Very good, will come next time
Rice dumplings were so good! Same with the gyozas. You won t leave here hungry! Unfortunately . service is where Lilong flops. Asked for cups for our tea - waiter shrugged and said we don t have enough what?!?! Aside from that, our rice never came with our meal and noodles were mid Food
This is really delicious It s really delicious Hey me, it smells like mom! It s so delicious that I, an old Shanghainese, shed tears The best Chinese restaurant in west end
Good food and ambience
Great service but If youre looking to having authentic Shanghai cuisine, this place might not meet your expectations. just nomal Chinese cuisine but worth to have a try
The food is great and the waiters are very friendly. Highly recommended!
Very authentic Chinese experience. Very generous portion sizes and delicious too. Four of us ate and we were all satisfied.
Great meal with excellent service
Great food. A lot of variety dishes. I got my Nanjing salty duck and some dumplings. Fry mushroom is tasty too. We will be back for bullfrog, spicy food and more buns !
Enjoyed dining in here thoroughly! From the reservation to the service, everything was brilliant. The food was nice and hot, the portion was pretty huge too so we had to pack up for takeaway.
The food was good but a little salty for our liking. Staff were friendly and efficient. Parking: Plenty of parking and the first 2 hours is free.
Nice little place in West End Lamb ribs were great Chicken and Corn soup , Great the purple steamed mushroom and asparagus dumplings were flavoursome also. Worth various visit the ambience is great also. Food
Xiaolongbao is perfect! Everything else is delicious as well!
I like the fish
Food is great with the taste of Shanghai, service is excellent very friendly with the young men, I wish remember his name who chased us out of the door and returned the cell phone we had forgotten on the table. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this restaurant for dine in.
Oops, not bad
As a Shanghainese, I can truly certify this is 100% authentic Shanghai cuisine. Highly recommend!
So delicious! We all like to eat
good
Delicious quick lunch, generous serves, friendly and helpful staff. Yummy and well priced!
I enjoyed the hot and sour soup as usual and tried the chillie Wonton. Both were yummy.Reccommended! Food
With its tasty dishes, large serving this restaurant is worth a visit. The only issue I had was the open area, no walls, and today was windy and cold. Leaving the screens down would have been helpful.
Good choice
It tastes so bad... I don t know what kind of meat is used in the chicken of Kung Pao Chicken. I have never eaten such fishy chicken in my life. After one bite, I felt like I was entangled in the resentment of the chicken before it died. The stir-fried pork actually uses pork slices blanched in a hot pot. It is loose and has no flavor at all. How could anyone use this kind of meat for stir-fry? ? ? Even though it s expensive, it tastes terrible. Now I don t know what to do with these two expensive boxes of food waste.
All good, will come back again
Very good
The food looks good and tastes good. Authentic Shanghainese food. As a Hangzhou native, it feels very friendly to eat here. The food is very beautiful and delicious. The food is a bit sweet, so those who are afraid of sweetness should consider it.
Give it a thumbs up, it tastes delicious!
Great Shanghai food. Tasty, flavour is on the heavy side, good to have with rice.
One of the best Shanghai cuisine in Brisbane!
Its unbelievable that I had to wait for almost an hour just to get a plate of fried rice.
The dishes are exquisite, the taste is on point, and the environment is relaxing and comfortable!
It would be a nice choice having satisfying Chinese cuisine here. Always had a good time with friends here. Highly recommend
Tastes better than before. Recommend the braised pork! The meat quality is also very good, half fat and half lean. The lychee and coconut milk drinks are also good. The boiled fish is not very tasty. Overall, it is a very good Chinese food.
The girls service was very good and the food tasted good, but the eel was a little oily.
Food was yum and generous. We over ordered and ended up with plenty to take home - Xiao long bao was tasty and daintily sculpted, Wagyu steak and mushroom was flavourful, the duck entree was a bit too salty and the stir fried rice cakes was too chewy for my liking but altogether everything was a taste explosion. Oh and my hot milk tea was lovely - sweet and milky. Will return for the seafood options.
Without question the best in Brisbane. The dumplings are to die for and the mains will have you dreaming. Lovely restaurant and delightful staff.
A memorable experience for us visitors to the city. Meal was excellent value. Service first class and helpful. Recommended dishes
Delicious Chinese food. Very reasonably priced. Venue is very approachable from CBD. Cosy atmosphere. 5 people in the group and cost us $180. Portions are very generous. Plenty of vegetarian options available. Vegetarian options: Full vegetarian option on the menu Parking: Free 2hour parking avilable
It tastes good and is in line with Chinese tastes. There are more people in the store, so I will stop here.
The taste is very good, at least the first-class Chinese food in Brisbane
Nearly perfect.
Just ate it, my kids like it very much
very delicious
The new dish Braised Pork Elbow is absolutely fantastic!
The food is beautifully authentic, very fresh and delicious! Im unsure why the reviews are not higher as Lilong is consistently very good. We LOVE the fried rice, broccoli and mixed veg, spring rolls and dumplings! Sadly they forgot to give us sauce but otherwise amazing. Vegetarian options: Amazing vegetarian options and you can also ask them not to add meat w lots of variety:)
authentic shanghai food! Great memories! Food
Hands down one of the best experience and food I have had for this type of cuisine. Was not disappointed at all! We came to QLD for a holiday and picked the first closest one to our stay after leaving the airport. We were super impressed at how fresh, delicious, clean and simple the service was. You will not be dissatisfied. The portion size for the price is perfect. I thought it was overpriced until upon seeing the size and how much you get. Makes total sense! The flavour hits right for every dish. Unbelievable. The customer service was standard, fast, and easy to talk to. Layout, seating I find it very spacious, good atmosphere and people all around. Spacious if you have children, and conveniently close to other shops also for groceries or cafes. It s a good location for all you need if you visit or stay in the area. Parking available as well. Not too hard to find. Definitely a good spot.
Superb
Great good and vibes! Highly recommend the soy duck
Good vibe and good food. Staffs are friendly and helpful. If you love Shanghai cuisine, this is a place you don t want to miss. My favourite is pan fried pork bun (
The food here is very delicious. I have been here many times and will recommend it to my friends every time.
The food is well prepared and delicious. It is also in a decent amount. Staff is friendly!
I had high hopes for this venue after reading its recommendation on urban list. The venue had nice atmosphere, quality crockery, cute tiles tables but it was quite hot outside. The staff were quite attentive. Unfortunately all the food was mostly just average. Maybe we ordered the wrong items Not sure if I will go back. We ordered 6 entrees, 1 main and 2 drinks. Interestingly three dishes were delivered very quickly including the main. We asked if they could slow down the pace but they said it was impossible since they had already started cooking. Then more and more entrees arrived but our drinks were last (at least 30 minutes in). The positive was the portions were generous. We ordered calamari, this was as we expected. Pan fried pork buns were maybe our favourite. Wonton in red chilli sauce didn t actually have much flavour in the filling. Shallot pancake was nice and crispy but not much filling. Fried glutinous rice dumplings (skip). Hot and sour soup was gelatinous in texture. Sichuan shredded pork was ok. Lychee and passionfruit drinks were good.
Ace
Ive been here many times. The food is delicious and the environment is great. The waitress is also very attentive! Highly recommended
Awesome place and definitely authentic Chinese food
The native Shanghainese has a childhood fondness for the word lilong! A few Shanghai friends and I chose Lilong for New Year s Eve dinner this year! It can be said that it is full of color and fragrance and is worth recommending! More importantly, the service is really good. I feel like there is no restaurant in Bucun with better service than Lilong! Thank you to Dede, the manager of the lane, for your warm service
The workplace had a Spring Festival dinner. The dishes and tastes were particularly rich and the service was very enthusiastic! Full marks!
It s a busy place - which is always a good sign. The food was good and reasonably priced which is great! Would recommend as a solid casual dining option.
Was quite busy on Monday night, recommend booking for a big group. Love the Wok Fried Bullfrog with Pepper Chilli. Not bad for Xiao Long Bao and Pan Fried Pork Bun too.
Food was delicious. Nice venue
Great food, think it s the best Chinese in west end. Also fast speed on food and great service!
The Shanghai cuisine in this restaurant is very authentic, and the chef is also a Shanghainese master. Today I ordered live fish with pine nuts and shredded eel in oil, and it was very delicious! The restaurant environment is clean, with a strong Shanghai restaurant atmosphere, and the decorative screens on the wall are particularly thoughtful. It is worth a try for all diners! ! !
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are good and delicious. Food
It was my first time to eat Shanghainese food and it was a great experience!
The food is good. The service is good. But the weather is hot
The pan-fried dumplings, steamed buns and dumplings were all good, but the fried noodles had too much oil and looked like they had been soaked. The hype is so bad.
Nice food. Staff are friendly enough. Tooooooo many flies around. Maybe food is too attractive to them
Oh my god. I checked reviews and came here for our lunch. So disappointed. Food was not good at all. I ordered most of the dishes which are signature, they are not worth for the price. Anyway I Will never come again.
Food was delicious, some very interesting shanghai dishes, their chicken fried rice and sweet and sour pork are soooo good! Also the red bean sesame pancake was a great way to finish the meal!
The dishes are beautiful and delicious, and the service is attentive and attentive. Every time I come to the city, I must come to this restaurant to eat...its very important and hygienic.
The food is very nice and fresh. As a traditional Shanghainese, I quite enojoy!
Genuine Shanghainese taste. One of the best Chinese food joints in the West End neighbourhood
Been here three times in one week, the taste is delicious
Perfect!
The food is served quickly. Tastes great!
I really like the pan-fried buns, perfect
Food was above average, our favourite being triple cooked pork belly. Lobster Noodle was good, but the lobster pepper was let-down. Crab was not on the menu. Apparently, we have to call ahead to double-check. Service was not great. We booked the private dining room ( with minimum spend 400$ ), but it was very underwhelming and nowhere near private. At each corner of the small room was storage of chair cushions stacked up, and they came and pile up beer cartoons next to the entrance. It was very hot and unpleasant. Outdoor tables look great, perhaps avoid the (non) private room. Drinks are probably the worst. We ordered 3 cocktails and everything was tasteless.
The food is delicious, served quickly, and the service is friendly
Loved everything
I like the interior decoration and the dining space is comfortable. The food is served very quickly, the stir-fried vegetables are delicious, and I like the meat filling in the pan-fried buns. Forgot to order the drunken chicken that everyone recommends, I will try it next time!
Lovely staff and amazing tasting food. Very highly recommended.
Yummy! Tasty!! It was nice dinner ^^ .
My partner and I chose Lilong based on the reviews and the photos, and it was a pretty good decision. We had some: - Fried rice: excellent, tasty and light - The signature pork xialongbao: Very nice texture, shame they dont offer a pork/chive blend, unless you go for the ticket dumplings. The pork taste can be a bit strong IMHO. - Salt and Pepper fried tofu: Tasty and crispy outside. - Wok fried pork with bamboo: Not bad, bur a bit strong tasted for me. - Fried snow pea sprouts with oyster sauce and mushrooms: Loved them. - Chive pancakes: Good. Obviously we ended up with more food than needed, but it was good to see that the portions are consistent. EDIT - We went back and it was great to see a drinks menu with beer and wines. Well done taking action over the feedback. Old feedback for context: On the negative side, I didnt see any drink menu, other than smoothies and other non-bottled soft drinks. This leaves me wondering if they are licenced or not (I should have asked), mostly because a beer would have been nice. The price was $107. Not super cheap considering that there were no drinks, but reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. Shame its not possible to give 4.5 stars, mostly for the lack of a clear drink menu.
Food was ok, kinda salty. No air con was the worse
Have come here twice for dinner, pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. Not the cheapest but decent size portions. Particularly liked the lychee mint iced drink which was just perfect for a hot night!
The lions head is particularly delicious, while the salted duck is average. The smoothies are especially delicious! ! The lady who took the order and the boy at the cashier were very enthusiastic.
I came here for lunch with my family, mostly we only ordered dumplings and noodle, they were so delicious, the smoothie lychee and mango was so good, great for hot day .Definitely will come back to try other dishes.Service was fast and staffs are friendly.
Very excellent Shanghai food
The food was well prepared and delivered. Service was a little slow and not clear understanding. Bathrooms are disgusting, not clean at all. Food
Tried the triple cooked pork belly. Very generous serving and it tastes incredible. Very tender
Delicious, really enjoyed the food and service!
I was really impressed with this place! No, it wasn t the 2 hour free parking in the middle of busy West End, and no it wasn t the ample of service attendants that were quick & efficient. It was the food! And they were good - very reminiscent of authentic Hong Kong style and flavours. We ordered all their top sellers & they didn t disappoint! Even the salted egg fried tofu was good! But the highlight was Xiao Long Bao - it s juicy & bursting with flavour! They first give you a piece of paper with dozens & dozens of food items with mini tick boxes next to them for you to pencil in to order as you wish! It has a menu with pictures for each food item to help you choose too! They also serve alcohol! Overall, it s slightly on the pricier side but the thought-out decor, the service, and the tasty food makes it an enjoyable experience!
Came here for lunch and dinner a few times. Taste and output is consistent and service is polite. The dumplings and xiao long Bay are classics. But actually their fried rice (a bit oily) but taste was good, drunken chicken, braised soy duck and crispy chicken all tasted authentic and flavourful. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian dishes, one vegan dumpling. Though choice for vegetarians is not high. Parking: 2 hours free parking Kid-friendliness: Kids can come here, has lights Wheelchair accessibility: Can access with wheelchair from carpark.
The Foods is average. We ordered combination noodles. the meats were cold( pre-cooked). Noodles were hot and nice flavours. others dishes were good.
Great for a different style of food. quock efficient service and food delivery
Too salty
A modern and chic looking restaurant. The menu is very extensive, and there are plenty of options to offer. The spicy cooked beef was tasty and the spiced lamb ribs were delicious. Go early as it gets crowded later in the night. Service was commendable and prompt. Great work!
Dine here on a regular basis, servers do their best to serve you, and are lovely, food is good wide range to suit all tastes, only downside they charge 50 cts for container ( not about money) but they should provide it as a courtesy. Most restaurants do.
amazing shanghai style cuisine highly recommend the crispy duck Recommended dishes
Beautiful food. Fast service. Cute little setting. We would eat here often if we lived in Brisbane
Great selection of dishes. Very busy.
Ripping off customers when using card payments. Don t accept cash.
Great service, amazing shanghai style cuisine, Would definitely come again
The best Chinese restaurant in brissy :)))
Some of the best Chinese food in Queensland
Great Chinese resturant! Food is always good when we go.
The food was served extremely slowly. It took 40 minutes to serve three dishes. The waiter was also very perfunctory.
Tried this new Chinese restaurant near Coles Westend with my colleagues. We love all dishes we ordered on that day; especially peking duck and eggplant... Another good choice in Westend. Parking: Free parking for 2 hours.
Fantastic restaurant and food. Best experience everytime I come here. Had the fried tofu, best ever. Also have the chicken and sweet corn soup delicious as always. Food
Pretty tasty Chinese food. Wide range from dumplings and pan fried buns to ala carte dishes. Would come again for sure when I m in town.
Nice alternative place for Shanghai-style food other than little Shanghai. The pan fried xiaolongbao quite legit.
Wow, what an excellent food and service. We were invited there less than two weeks ago and we loved the food and the service, honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants we have been to. Since we loved the place we invited couple of friends to there for lunch last Friday and they loved it too. Thank you Lilong Keep up the good work
Been there one 2 separate occassions, pretty good shanghai food, some hits and misses. Really love the shandong chicken, spicy chicken fried rice and mushroom noodles! Decently well xlb and pan fried bun, but wished the fillings were slightly more. Radish puff was special and surprisingly good too! Would go back again for classic shanghai style food!
We were invited to have dinner at this place. Love their eggplant dish, steamed fish, tofu but the braised soy sauce duck was a bit dry and salty. Overall happy dining and will come back again to try their xlb and other dishes.
Deep fried tofu with salted duck egg sauce goes extremely well with a couple of Asahi! Yum!
Pretty good Chinese food
Great birthday lunch there
Great quality food, love the choices and the pumkin dumplings are so cute and yummy.
food is good but I had to wait 55mins for ordering 10 dumplings take away
Food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and overall a good experience.
We came here close to the closing time on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly and sat us down. However, they seemed quite busy and didn t really help us until they really needed to. We kinda needed to give them our order sheet ourselves. However, it is understandable, given the fact that they were probably trying to clean up at the same time. The restaurant itself had an outdoor and indoor sitting area. It was quite nice, with an interesting vibe and nice decorations but the outdoor sitting area where we were was very bright and glare y due to the reflection of the sun from parked cars and passing cars. Food-wise, it was decently good. We had the: - tofu, prawn and vegetable soup which felt nice and healthy and clean - eggplant - nice sauce and a good texture. Not so much crispy but just a sautéed Asian eggplant dish - noodles with pork - I only had the noodles and greens but the flavour was nice and the texture of the noodles was good too - various dumplings and xiao long bao - I didn t try any but I think everyone thought they were good! Overall, I recommend! Food is good, atmosphere is nice - best not to come too close to closing time! Vegetarian options: Some of the vegetarian dishes were very nice! Dietary restrictions: There are a lot of different dishes so you can definitely find something suitable for different dietary requirements Parking: There is outdoor parking as well as underground parking if you need. It can get a bit busy as it is for the whole shopping centre, but usually there is enough
Food was bland and servers wasnt happy or welcoming. Nothing special... We would not be a returning customer.
Everything just perfect .
Extremely long waiting time. Waiting for 40 mins, and only comes with the dessert and starter. And the main did not come yet .
Honestly its first place in Australia with real good food... taste, portions, serve up ... real taste!
The waiter in white clothes named KFC has a very stinky face. When customers ask questions, he just shows off his face and doesnt answer. Isnt it just a KFC in his own home? ! His temper is just like fried chicken! What the hell kind of attitude, good guy^_^
Highly recommend their pan-fried buns, which are freshly fried. They are really delicious and the taste is very suitable for Asians. Overall, the dishes are quite good and go well with rice. We also ordered the fried frog, which was also very good. The only flaw in the meal was that we had to seat about 15-20 people for the meal that day. The curtain of the seat we were sitting on happened to be broken and could not be pulled down, so we ate while enjoying the breeze. Eating indoors was like eating outdoors. It was very windy that day, and it really blew my face away . In addition to affecting the meal, there was also a tree on the roof (which was half empty). The wind would also blow the branches or flowers indoors, or fall on them. During the meal, those who mind are advised not to sit by the window. The price is also on the high side, about 50-60$ per person. There are many people positioning and the settings are low. The food is quite delicious, but I wouldn t go out of my way to come here.
Food was too fat for my liking.
This is a family friendly Chinese restaurant, we have 4 families gathered for dinner and split into 2 tables, we ordered so many different dishes and most of them were very delicious, they were served quickly too, the venue is a little packed but it was a nice atmosphere, we all had a good time, thanks!
A little bit too salty

It was a hot Saturday lunch at Lilong! We ordered a few dishes and they were all very nice, except for the salted egg fried tofu. The salted eggs tasted not like salted eggs, very blend and very artificial. We asked for chillies and they only serve a very miserable small plate of cut red chillies and charged us 50 cents. The chilli oil (also mini plate) also charged 50 cents. Shouldnt this be part of the house to attract more customers. Even though it was a Saturday, only a few tables dined in while we were there. this showed the crowds have reduced compared a few times we were there. Even though majority of the dishes tasted really good and good quality, the pricing are on the edge! Each main dish average cost $30 per dish. Easily spent more than $100 there. However, not many restaurants around Brisbane served a variety of nice Chinese dishes, thus its still worth going to LiLong! Kid-friendliness: family friendly place!
