slowest service in the West End - barista looked like he was half-asleep; only about 8 customers + a couple of take-aways and almost a 20 minute wait for a flat white.

Not impressed with my breakfast. I wanted to add eggs to my avo n toast, but they said they dont offer eggs; then I look at the pictures here and it seems that they do. The 4.5 star rating is not right, it seems like a 3.5 place to me.

Food and coffee is good .... but public holiday surcharges dont usually apply the day after the public holiday ! The whole weekend isnt a public holiday, just the Friday !

Disappointed in the new menu offerings at Veneziano West End comparative to what was offered in 2023. Cabinet only food and minimal service provided this morning-will be ordering beans online in future or going to a different location next time.

Boxing Day 2023. Bought 3 milk coffees, ie Cafe Latte, $ 19.50 to take away. Milk was sour, ie : off!, had to through away. Disappointed. Food : 1/5 |

Just had coffee, babycinos and hot chips both were good. Babycinos came with a marshmallow. The atmosphere is 4 because the music was loud with the talking of other patrons, from a sensory point of view it was too much. I have brought the coffee beans before as well and I find they make a great cup at home. Cafe is wheelchair accessible but toilets are not, ambulant only.

Superb cold filter coffee -- rich and full of varied tasting notes -- and a very good rendition of avocado on toast -- even though it wasnt remotely smashed as the name suggested, just gently sliced

Waited for more than 10 min for my takeaway coffee in a not so busy cafe, had to leave after asking, the staff didn t even check or ask the barista if it s next.

My first visit here and needed some beans in a hurry. Was given some great advice this morning on the beans available, and purchase at 250g bag of their Soar Blend. (I just tried it at home and its pretty good!!) Also a free coffee with the bean purchase which was crafted with obvious care from their Barista. They seem to have all the equipment through the back of the warehouse so I can assume they roast or do most of the process on site. That equals freshly roasted quality, rather than beans with longer shelf-lives from other stores locally. I would not hesitate to go back here, and will be returning to grab more beans and coffee in the future. Highly recommended for those that a particular about their coffee.

What a great place to enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee and some food. Waiter knew his way around coffee, roasting and brewing, and was thus able to recommend a perfectly fitting coffee. Their coffees are of great quality and provide something for every taste. The Breaky Burger was also awesome and kept us full for the rest of the day. You can also acquire their coffee beans in the store. Highly recommended :)

This is a seriously good coffee. Dropped in after a morning bike ride and was happy to pay $5.50 for my strong flat white (can hardly get anything under $5 these days anyway). One of the best coffees Ive had in Brisbane.

A chill location for a cuppa during the week. Both indoor and outdoor seating are a delight - you can see their in-house roastery working when seated indoors (but no loud machine/factory noises); you can watch life go by when seated outside. They also have a barista training studio connected next door, which seems very interesting. The food is a bit expensive for the quality - the bagel was very mediocre, banana bread was nice and filling, but the coffee is good. The staff are lovely and know what theyre talking about with coffees. The soy cappuccino was delicious. The hot chocolate is made with a specific blend of Ratio chocolate and is very rich and delicious. They provide a roast/blend of the day card so you can read about which bean youre drinking from. The gingerbread iced latte sounded very delicious - cold brew, house made spiced treacle syrup and oat milk on ice, but it just tasted like sweetened oat milk. No spice, no cinnamon flavour, no gingerbread vibe, not even a hint of coffee? A bit upsetting. Overall, its a lovely place, and perfect on an overcast day.

The coffee here is undeniably good. If you are after quality in West End it s here Lonely s or Morning After. The wait time is overly long though. It was maybe 25 per cent full and took me ages to get firstly a coffee and then a simple Vegemite on toast. So great if you have time.

I don t come here often but every time the service is bad. They have a sign for you to wait to be seated but staff walk by ignoring you. When they finally seat you they don t bother to bring menus or water so you have to go up to the counter. The venue, coffee and food is great but staff need better training .

Gave this place a few chances, staff are nothing but rude. Don t acknowledge people when they walk in, feels like everything is an issue when just ordering scrambled eggs/coffee and every time I in they seem to be more concerned in making their own food and drinks then actually working. Wouldn t bring anyone here or recommend due to poor service and vibes.

Wow, just wow! Went to this cute coffee shop by chance whilst visiting West End. Felt immediately welcomed as approached by the concierge. I ordered a takeaway coffee and Almond croissant. The coffee was amazing and the croissant to die for. I am looking forward to returning there one day soon to dine in. Cant wait

Paid nearly $30 for an iced coffee and Benedict fritters. Wasn t told until after I paid that they sold out of fritters and so I got toast instead which was just plain not even buttered. The meal itself just wasn t pleasant. When I questioned the price of my breakfast (that I didn t even get) the waitress snapped back that I had hollandaise sauce as if to justify the price. I did speak to the manager who refunded me $2. Such a stinge cafe. Oh and was charged a service fee for terrible, rude service (or lack there if we had to get our own table water and cutlery). Won t be coming back here and won t be recommending it to my local west end community group either. Terrible!

I went here by chance when I was in the area a couple of years ago. On my first sip of the coffee it was an immediate WOW and it has been consistentever since! The difference that stood out to me was the freshness of the deep earthy, nurturing beans. We were sitting upstairs, with a view over the floor below, and when I turned around I got a huge surprise to see a large viewing window into the coffee roastery in the back of the building. I then realised why the coffee tasted so fresh! After a total renovation the new interior is light and airy, with a direct view of the roastery which is now on full view through the glass wall. There is a good range of food options and breakfast is popular here. I find it hard to go past the oven fresh homestyle muffins and crispy pastries. You can often grab a loaf of artisan bread to take home as they usually have few loaves for sale. The service is always genuinely warm and friendly here and there is a relaxed vibe. Its always a great experience.

Every morning at 6 O clock I am woken up by you setting up the chairs to your venue. Scrapping metal chairs along concrete makes quite a lot of noise it would be appreciated if you could have a little more respect for your residential neighbours

I used to only like coffee, but recently, after Leno, food has also improved. I used the ingredients carefully. The crab omelette with papaya salad, French toast with stewed apple, dragon fruit, and blueberry walnut bechamel sauce were all delicious. The salad was clean and delicious too. The coffee is always good and fresh, but the long black and espresso tend to be strong and have a slightly sour taste. Im always satisfied with milk-based or filter coffee. The staff are also friendly.

Service was excellent from beginning to end. Salad was best. Fresh and Delicious with generous servings. My husband had his all time favourite; the poached eggs were perfect with oozing yolks. The hot chocolate came in a delightful ceramic mug with the contents being silky smooth. Would definitely make it my regular go to Cafe for a feast of all things good

Welcoming and delightful staff. Great coffee, had with Bonsoi and it gave it all a nice toasted nutty flavour. Topped it off with the lemon and fig slice. Best part was they even honoured an old loyalty card that reminded me of them in order to get coffee. 5 stars for the overall experience.

Ive been taking friends who visit to Veneziano for years. Im not sure when they started doing this but I dont like it. Its sneaky and its greedy. They charge 50 cents more for coffee when you dine in. They dont tell you, they just charge you so most people wont even notice especially when we just tap our card and go. They might have started this after their expansion. Their coffees are already priced above average cafes. In any case, I wont go to Veneziano any more. There are so many in West End to choose from. This extra charge is not right. Its ridiculous.

The coffee here is $6 for a two shot which is the most expensive in the neighbourhood. Wouldn t have minded but the coffee was overly sweet, weak and not well made. Didn t enjoy it.

One of my favourite places to have a solo retreat and do some writing. Great coffee and snacks, and a tempting array of fancy paraphernalia. Open slightly later than most cafes on weekends, which helps.

Sitting down to have a hot or cold batch brew is simply delightful. The coffees have lovely and diverse flavour profiles, making each sip an enjoyable experience. No more lattes for me. Batch brew is the way to go and Veneziano has the best ones I have tried!

This place is one of my favourite ones from West End, they serve such a nice coffee. But today I found that that the staff was really slow and lazy considering that was raining and we were 4 people standing in the rain waiting for a coffee.

Love Veneziano coffee, great set up and coffee and come often as live locally. Lately they have been getting really slow serving up their coffees. Understand life isnt a rush, but service was below standard for the amount of people waiting. Staff were more concerned chatting to customers who have already paid and are standing around behind the service area.

Great food selection and the coffee speaks for itself. Wait time is consistently slow, I m of the belief if you re paying $4.80 for a takeaway you should be in and out within 5 minutes. Veneziano consistently averages close to 10 minutes.

Great service and good choice of coffee. They offer a great reserve menu on V60 I tried a beautiful Colombian Gesha and got a Kenyan batch brew to take away. Plenty of choices to keep me coming back. Thanks for a great service and tasty coffees

Weird food thats not awesome. On two visits I ve had two meals I couldn t eat owing to bizarre choices of condiments. And I ll eat just about anything. I mean who puts pesto on a smoked salmon bagel? It just doesn t work no matter how clever someone thinks it might be. The whole thing was bland and inedible. Can t complain about the coffee though.

Im one of the local bikie in Lycra. The two of us frequent this place usually at the end of our river loop route, bonus: there are bicycle parking here! Batch coffee always excellent and the staffs are very friendly and efficient too!

Long Wait, Coffee was terrible and the Male Baristas are just rude. These guys used to be really good...which is a bit of a shame. Try Blackstar, West End Coffee House or Coffee Head Co.

There was an issue with my monthly order that resulted in it not being delivered before xmas. This was unfortunate but the way Emma handled it was 1st class. She even went above and beyond by sending me a complementary set of their beans which wasnt necessary but still greatly appreciated.

Had some Broschetta and a flat white. Both were fantastic. The coffee was just right. Smooth with the right amount of bitterness to my liking. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and will be my weekend brunch place for many many weekends to come!

Great tasting coffee, very smooth and strong! The hot chocolate is also another stand out drink, rich chocolatey taste with a hint of sweetness. There are some great vegan bites too. I love the avocado bagel which can be made vegan on request (without the honey). The bagel bun is always soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The filling is always fresh and creamy. The bean burger is great too, only wish it was served with chips not crisps! The staff are very friendly and accommodating with dietary requirement. Theyre always full of energy, smiling and up for a chat. There are two seating areas. The ground level is very open and has a variety of seating. Toilets are also located on the ground floor. The upstairs area is very cosy, plenty of lighting and is good for studying and getting work done! There are long benches and powerpoints to charge your devices. There I come here often and enjoy my visit every time!

Great coffee! Just missed a star because I asked for a breakfast burger without the bun as I am doing a low carb diet and was essentially told there wasn t anything for me on the menu. Eggs, Mushrooms, Cheese would have all worked but I ended up with chia pudding per the baristas recommendation as my only option which was tasty but not what I was after. As said before, the coffee was so good that it still gets four stars!

a nice place to stay and spend time, but the food (i ordered salmon bagel) is not that good. the bread is hard to chew (compare to the other bagels i had elsewhere) and the content is a bit too simple.

Had the mushroom burger which was delicious and brother had the ham and cheese croissant which was a bit on the tough side. We went during mid morning so there weren t too many people there which was nice.

the best vegan burger i have had so far! Although I am not a vegetarian/vegan, i have just followed my guest to respect him. It was so mouthwatering with fresh sauted abd caramalized musrooms, crispy potatoes infused, soft and juicy bun with some spreads. Its awesome. I can have that again even if I go alone!!!

Stunning coffee. The latte was smooth and rich while maintaining a even crema. The iced long black was very tart however but that may simply be the beans arent suited to chilled applications. Friendly down to earth service and nice seating.
