Fantastic little Greek eatery!

Relaxed and casual with great staff and food. Lucky for me its close by! Definitely recommend.

July 2024 went there for my birthday. We ordered Aegean platter . Was a specialist seafood platter. I would give it a 9 out of 10 but when i was told that the 2large fish fillers were basa -,this wrecked the evening ; (( basa is usually called cat fish a nasty cheap bottom feeding scavenger fish that is usually found at some fish shops for $5 a kilo retail ) For the $150 We paid for the platter serving up basa is just cheap and nasty. Sadly little Greek taverna you have been going for 15 years -way too long to be playing cheap stunts like this - it s back to lefkas and Icarus for us -,where all the food is top notch Wheelchair accessibility: On a level with street

Love this restaurant, have been regulars for years. Its had Its up & downs, but our recent visit showed it was back on form again. Haloumi cooked the way I like it, greek salad & lemon potatoes always great. Salmon cooked perfectly, nicely charred. Service good

We had allowed ourselves only 38 mins to order and eat dinner. The Little Creek Taverna were amazing at rushing out our delicious lamb dish and getting to our show. We would definately recommend eating here.

I come from Melbourne where there are great Greek restaurants. When I moved to Brisbane, my mission was to find a good Greek restaurant. Well guys I found this place, really great food and service. You must try their lamb, it s sensational.

If you want authentic Greek food this is your place to go! The food is delicious, and the portions are always generous. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was is always a vibe. Overall, a great place to eat.

Great food but absolutely pathetic hospitality. The place is tiny as it is, says they close at 10 but they rushed us out of the inside area by 9:30. They had the indecency of bringing us the cheque without us asking for it, did not ask if we wanted any desserts etc nothing. We ordered a lemon potatoes with our meal, its now the next morning and I haven t seen a lemon potatoes anywhere around me. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, go take a lesson in hospitality and learn to treat your guests better. Absolutely no manners.

Our family enjoyed a lovely birthday celebration at Little Greek Taverna. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. I was blown away that the personal attention we received extended to a Happy Birthday greeting piped on the biscuit accompanying the birthday boy s coffee. We have dined at this taverna on many occasions & have been consistently impressed. Thanks to all the staff who made our day so special.

Really great food at an affordable price with friendly and attentive staff. The location is convenient but quite small and noisy with the traffic. If youre looking for a quite casual bite, highly recommend. But if youre looking to have a meal and a really good conversation with your companion, Id probably choose a somewhere else.

Took my parents in law there today for the first time and they absolutely loved it , we ordered the Little Grrek Banquet and the food was fantastic and extremely delicious, our waiter was just brilliant and we really had a lovely family catch up at Little Greek Taverna . Highly recommend it . Thank youuuuuuu beautiful people especially our waiter (wish i got his name) who made our lunch experience very special xo

The food is to die for! Honestly, cannot fault the food and would come back again and again for it! We had bread and dips, saganaki, lamb, Greek salad and lemon potatoes. However (there is a however unfortunately), the toilets were dirty and had no toilet paper or soap, and the waitress didnt check on us for about 45 mins between ordering our starters and then mains, we had to keep getting her attention for her to come to us so we could order food, ask for ice bucket, order a beer, clear plates etc. The wait staff were friendly though when they did come to our table. Easy to fix things though (keep toilets clean and stocked, and train the wait staff a bit better) But I will definitely return for the food, BYO wine and decent corkage fees

The lamb and lemon potatoes were amazing

The taste of the three cups of latte coffee that the owner personally made was truly delicious, different from the lattes I had enjoyed before. I was curious about how delicious the Greek food would be if even the coffee was this delicious. Next time, I plan to visit with my family and enjoy Greek cuisine.

We had a delicious meal last Friday night - great food, prompt service and good vibe. We loved all the dishes- the saganaki, Greek salad, bread and dips, souvlaki, and more! all washed down with nice cold Hellas Fix! Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Nice casual Greek restaurant on a bustling corner location in the Brisbane west end. Service was fast and friendly and Food was great (maybe the servings could be a bit bigger). I had the naked yeros , the crispy fried zucchini and a couple of sheftalies (kind of a home made Greek sausage). Everything was fresh, flavoursome and tasty. I had a table outside which was a bit noisy. I paid $56 including an ouzo. I would come again

The service was poor, with long waiting times and inattentive staff. The restaurant was also cramped with narrow seating, making it uncomfortable for diners. Food is below average. The chicken skewer is overcooked and flavourless. All in all, pretty bad experience and wont recommend this place to anyone

Pretty good cook food around the corner of west end. Love the souvlaki and salad but first time trying the salad so not used to it yet, good food option if you re craving greek food. $40 for 2 people and quite worth it, fast turnover in the restaurant too.

Tried this place for the first time last weekend and now know why it is so hard to get a table without a booking. Ended up going with a platter and the staff were super nice about substituting one of the dishes for me. I did try the zucchini chips as a extra side but was just a little bit too salty. Other than that really enjoyed the food. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a chill dinner or going out with a small group.

I took some relatives who were visiting from overseas to have dinner at this small Greek restaurant, which I thought was really cool place. But, I ended up feeling extremely embarrassed when I took them there, the service was poor and the food was cold and bad. Although I had a good experience on my first visit to the restaurant, this time it was different. The staff rushed us to finish our meals, mid way through our meals they started vacuuming the place with a very loud vacuum cleaner, we just couldn t have a conversation, it was comical . They even took our plates away before we were done with our food. I felt so terrible, guilty that the only night I had with them I took them to this awful place. Never again

Pretty good place. The food was very lovely and so was the service. The staff were very helpful and conversational when I asked about how to best order if we had a table of 3 but wanted a share platter. We did sit at the tables on the sidewalk tho and initially they had us sit at the one right down the end, in front of the bus stop. The noise and lights from that would be terrible so we decided to move to another table away from that. Vegetarian options: We didnt have vegetarian but they exist as standalone items and platters Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk tables are access, but theres a step to the restaurant so not great.

Delicious Greek food and excellent friendly service. We took our son and his friends here to celebrate his birthday with some tasty Greek food. The pita wraps were delicious, as was the galaktoboureko that we rounded the meal off with. With an excellent location in the hustle and bustle of West End, this restaurant, as with previous visits, was busy, however the service remains remains excellent. We look forward to our next visit! Vegetarian options: The Mixed Veggie Pita Wrap with added Haloumi was excellent.

not sure why i ve lived in west end for nearly 2 years and not been here until recently. little greek taverna is a new go-to for me. the food is SO GOOD. there s so much flavour. the meats are yum. the halloumi! the lunch wraps are also freaking delish and for like $10 how can you go wrong honestly. delish. love. will be back.

The service at the restaurant is not great, with inattentive staff and ridiculously long waiting time. The entire establishment is super packed and overcrowded. The food, particularly the skewer, is dry and flavourless. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

Amazing service, food and environment always, every time! The Little Greek has been a Brisbane staple forever and as a local I can 100% say it s still a gem. We all got the banquet and it was amazing!

Its been many years since wed been here but the business remains in the same family. The food is about as Greek as you can imagine and high quality plus the service is exemplary. If you are searching for Greek food then youve found it :)

Great food & great service

Had the prawn saganaki with pasta which was a delicious dish of slightly spicy, creamy, tomato seafood pasta. The staff raved on about how good the Freddo-cino iced drink was, but the ones my table ordered were very gritty and full of coffee grounds with every mouthful. You can see in the photo that the drink just looks like water from the Brisbane River.

The food was great and the staff so friendly. Will be back again soon.

Came here for lunch. Pricing is reasonable for what you get. I ordered the halloumi meal and swapped out chips for lemon potatoes (charged $3 extra). The halloumi was just grilled and Greek salad was your average Greek salad. Lemon potatoes were SO incredibly salty that was almost all I could taste unfortunately. We had a patio table but patio really just means table on the sidewalk around the corner from the actual restaurant, so it wasn t anything special. Overall average dining experience with average Greek food and just average service.

The chicken yiros was absolutely 5/5. The chicken flavours were incredible. The hot chips were so good. The dressing on the Greek salad, slapped hard. Would recommend!

You can order your food and go sit in the moody, romantic cobbler bar just up the road 20m away. Staff will bring you your meal. Highly recommend the following: - Feta-wrapped meli (Greek fetta in filo pastry with honey) - Florinian Lamb - Stuffed mushrooms but honestly, all dishes are so authentically Greek and you cant beat the atmosphere of a romantic dinner in the cobbler bar, surrounded by candle-lit black leather couches, drinks and then to be served amazing Greek food while listening to live jazz on a Friday or Saturday night. oof.

Did I go to a restaurant or a gym? Why were there so many workers looked like they were on steroids? The girl I was with was made uncomfortable by the male staff and the arrogance turned me off my food. 1/10 would not recommend

Food was great.. but service, hmmm we were a group of 4, and stayed from 12pm to 5pm. At no time did anyone come to our table to take our order. Each course we had to get up from our table and order from the counter. Thankfully we BYOed, so did not need to order wine, each time we needed water or cutlety, we had to go to the counter. A shame such good food is let down by such poor service.

Wonderful atmosphere, theres frequently someone playing music. The intimate size adds to the atmosphere and is backed up by friendly and welcoming staff and wonderful food. A great place to stop for a drink and a small bite before your night out or for an awesome dinner. Parking: Conveniently located roughly 50m away from a paid parking lot and has plenty of street parking.

The best Greek place in Brisbane. We ve been going here for years and years. We ve been to much more expensive places but always come back to Little Greek Taverna. Service is great, non pretentious and homely. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced too!

Reliably delicious, well priced with very attentative service.

Its a vibrant full of life place for a meal! It was a group of 9 gathered on a Saturday afternoon. Most of us ordered the $45pp banquet, the lemon potatoes dish was so salty, the lamb kebab was a bit tough and dry...overall it was ok.....Not everyone like the chargrilled baby octopus. Thus, should exclude this dish from the banguet.

A cute spot with an amazing array of food.

We had a fantastic evening here. Our NNT wine club met here Friday night and did a BYO Greek wine night. We had booked a table online. When I accidentally had booked twice and needed to change numbers of people, they were super kind and helpful, and they replied to my request very promptly. Its a popular place and consistently good. The service was excellent and was just the right amount of attentiveness. The food is delicious, and the portions are generous, especially the mains. I am not usually a fan of spanakopita, but this round version was divine, and Id go back for it again. I also loved the meatballs, lemon potatoes (they go well with Assirtiko), and the baklava is a must try!

The fine folks at Little Greek Taverna were excellent last night. Went there for my daughters 18th birthday as she loves Greek food and we had a lovely experience: great food, rapid service with a smile, and great value too. A big thumbs up

Disappointing visit. The waitress forgot to order our starter and the main meals were very lack lustre,.really basic Greek salad and meat was nothing to write home about. We also ordered the lemon potatoes which were very disappointing. Maybe just an off night.

We were visiting from Melbourne and friends brought us here for dinner. The restaurant is quaint with indoor and outdoor seating while the huge windows open up to make the place almost all outdoor, on a warm evening this was great. The service was friendly and staff were more than happy to answer questions and give recommendations. Our food was ready quickly and was delicious!
