2/27 Browning St, West End QLD 4101, Australia
We arrived to the restaurant near closing time and (understandably) did not expect to get food. However, the staff were extremely patient, welcoming and friendly as they took us through what was available in the menu as well as recommendations. The food was amazing, portions were great, and overall service was fantastic. Thank you to the Biryani Place staff for the hospitality and delicious meal!
I ordered the Chicken Tikka and Chicken Mandi. The Chicken Tikka was absolutely perfect . I loved every bite, but for the Chicken Mandi, the chicken piece was flavorful and delicious. The rice had a unique twist compared to other Mandi dishes I’ve tried, with a distinct black pepper flavor. It’s nice, but a bit different from the usual. Overall, a good experience.
Tucked away in the quieter side of West End is this gem of a restaurant. We found the restaurant based on Google reviews, and we were not disappointed. They serve fantastic Indian food with big portions and at a low price. We ordered the shahi plate, goat Kadai, and Butter naan (not in picture). We were surprised with how big the shahi plate was, which came with generous portions of meat, lentils, and rice and only cost $35! Loved the goat kadai as well and my favourite, the butter naan. I'm a sucker of a well buttered naan, and the one they served was slathered with a generous amount. Our bill came to only $62, and we even had to bring a huge takeaway container because we couldn't finish it all. Aside from this, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the people serving were friendly. My partner and I will definitely come back for more!
I recently ordered from this place and was initially unsure about my decision, leading me to cancel my reservation. However, I decided to give it a try, and I am so glad I did! The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Chilli Paneer, and Chicken Biryani. Almost every dish was super tasty, and each bite was a delight. This place definitely deserves 5 stars. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious, high-quality food!
Hidden joint on westend. Great Vegetarian Biryani, Goat Biryani, Mandi, and Mutton Masala, especially. Takes a bit longer to arrive. Better you come a little early and order food over the counter. The new menu has launched, and now it's time to taste a few more dishes on our next visit. Amazing quality of Garlic Naan. Keep it up, guys. Would appreciate it if you look after more hygiene and cleanliness around the precinct. Definitely, I'm a fan. Will see you guys soon. Cheers
Tried this place and the food wasn’t great. We ordered chicken 65, chicken mandi and fish mandi. Chicken 65 was full of red food colour. Tasted ok. For fish and chicken mandi the rice was nothing like the mandi rice we get in Hyderabad. It lacked flavour. Chicken and fish was good. The service was terrible. The guys they were least bothered. We ordered tea and asked them to bring later during the dinner and it never came to us. We were 4 of us and they brought just 3 cups for water. Waiter boys had their friends over and they were sitting together and just talking.
If you’re on the hunt for authentic, mouth-watering chicken tandoori and biryani, look no further. The chicken tandoori is perfectly spiced, tender, and has a smoky, char-grilled flavor that’s hard to beat. Each bite is juicy and infused with a delicious marinade that balances spice and flavor without overwhelming the palate. The chicken biryani is another highlight, with each grain of rice fluffy, aromatic, and seasoned to perfection. The chicken pieces are tender, well-cooked, and layered with a blend of spices that bring a rich, comforting taste to the dish. Together with raita or a side of curry, this biryani is a complete, satisfying meal. Both dishes are a must-try if you appreciate fine Indian cuisine that’s both authentic and satisfying. Whether dining in or ordering out, you’ll get a memorable, flavorful experience every time!
I have lived in Brisbane for 18 years and don't like going to indian restaurants to avoid disappointment I have experienced a few times but today was a totally different experience for me. I loved the food as it was authentic and delicious. Best lamb biriyani I have had in Brisbane. Meat was so soft n tender. Kids loved the butter chicken as well. Wonderful staff and excellent service. Highly recommend to all of you to try it.
I used to have chicken mandi from this restaurant and it used to taste excellent. However, recently, the quality of mandi rice was significantly declined. The rice was dry, broken, and tasted bland with a very strong earthy flavor. I dont think Ill be visiting this restaurant from now on. The staff is well mannered however you have to make an effort to grab their attention when you need something, which during eating becomes a hassle. This restaurant needs to work on their food and taste quality consistency.
Great Biryani . It hit the spot.
Lamb mandi was so tender and the rice was amazing!! Also the chicken 65 biryani was awesome
It might be on the less cleaner side and the service might be not great and definitely not a type of place you go for a Michelin star experience but the food is Delicious, Authentic, Unapologetic, and with Huge portions.
Good Mandi Biryani
I ordered two family pack of biryani and one pack was stale and full of foul smell. Will not recommend.
I ordered the lamb biryani, and the portion of meat was too small for one person. When I asked about it, I was told that it was their standard amount. Additionally, the rice was served cold, and they had to reheat it. The service felt unfriendly, and I felt like I was asking for a favor rather than being served. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
We had a very bad experience with the veg biryani family pack yesterday evening. The rice tasted very sour and we could not eat it at all..finally we had to throw away the entire family pack. I called the restaurant to let them know that this has happened and they mentioned that they used a new yogurt which might have gone bad and would make it up for it in the next order whenever it is. But probably that won t happen as this was the first time I ever ordered and it left us with a sour taste. Really disappointed with the veg biryani though chicken biryani was good.
Absolutely Amazing Experience, If you want to taste True Desi flavours than this is the place . Staff : Abdul was amazing & welcoming accommodated us almost at the time of closing . Pricing , is very reasonable I will for sure visit again
Very authentic Indian
Fantastic food. Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian who rarely comes across good options this place offers fantastic food. The vegetarian 65 was very good. Food : 5/5 |
I recently ordered the Apollo Chicken, Lamb Biryani, and Chilli Cheese Naan, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. First, I confirmed over the phone that the Chilli Cheese Naan was available, but when it arrived, it was lacking seasoning and cheese, additionally it was doughy/undercooked and unsatisfying. The Apollo Chicken was extremely dry, with stringy, salty meat that was inedible. The Lamb Biryani had good flavour but was missing some seasoning, and the meat wasn t as succulent as I had hoped. To add to the frustration, my order was supposed to be ready in 35 minutes but ended up taking 50 minutes. Overall, I left feeling quite unhappy with my meal. I hope they can improve on these issues in the future.
Incredibly nice biryani
One of the most authentic and very traditional Biryani s i have eaten in Australia. The fragrances and the taste was mouthwatering. In all honesty one of the best Biryani s i have eaten in my life time and trust me i have eaten a lot
The best indian food i have ever tasted. Loved that it was spicy, tasty and delicious
Visited Biriyani Palace for lunch yesterday, and it was quite a disappointing experience. First, we had to wait 45 minutes for the biriyani, which was frustratingly slow. Then, after another 20 minutes, the Chicken Tikka finally arrived, only to discover it was off. We had to send it back, which really soured the whole experience. Terrible food and service overall. Definitely won t be returning.
One of the Finest and good quality food that I had in Brisbane.
Easily the best place to have Biryani in the city, food was up to the mark and Hyderabadi Biriyani was authentic. The atmosphere was good, would recommend to everyone wanting to have Hyderabadi cuisine.
It was my first time eating biryani, and it was even more delicious than I had imagined. Recommended as it suits Japanese tastes as well.
Delicious food and great service, particularly from Anwar
Amazing curry. Very authentic.
Very very very best biryani
Best biryani in Brisbane.
I have sampled many other Indian restaurants in the Brisbane area. However, this establishment consistently stands out as the superior option. The cuisine is both fresh and authentic, and the portions are generous. The staff is also quite friendly.
Very late delivery
No doubt the place have the best food but everytime we came the food got missed and have to tell them about it and they start run for it seriously if you not winge about the service then its a best place in town
Overrated Overrated overrated , don t believe on the reviews. We ordered 3 dishes chicken 65 biriyani, chicken korma , chicken mandi . I have visited more than 20 Indian restaurants in Queensland. This is the most overrated chicken 65 biriyani i ever had the only item i liked it was chicken mandi biriyani and the chicken korma was awful no taste at all. Not only that we had wait about 50 minutes to get the food on our table . I would rather cook at home than going into this restaurant.
Ordered chicken 65 biriyani and they should name it as lemon chicken rice. Horrible taste. I would have cooked better by watching youtube videos.
Best Place for Dine in and food is very tasty.
The food was fantastic, the servings are decent. We ordered 1 biryani and 3 curries (chicken korma, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala) for 5 adults. My favourite was definitely the tikka masala.
Biryani did not taste the same when I got parcel.
Loved the biryani!
Ordered from DoorDash Disgusting full of oil . Ordered mild - it was the spiciest dish ever. Not to say we waited for an our something that even not worth your money. Food : 1/5
Ordered food through Door dash. The butter naan ordered was undercooked and could taste raw flour.
Delicious Indian food Hyderabadi biriyanis were awesome. Just need to manage the timing of food. Was a bit later than expected Food : 5/5
I recently dined at your briyani place and was very satisfied with the food. The flavors were excellent, and the portions were generous. I would highly recommend your restaurant to others.
Ive been travelling around Australia, and Ive been to multiple different Indian resorts, and this is by far the worst. I am absolutely appreciative; the service that I received was just unexplainably unacceptable. The workers were on their phones 24/7; they were not attentive. To top that off, my lamb Mandi was burned; it was past resurection. As I felt so sick after my meal, I had to go to the toilet. but, to my surprise, the toilets were as bad as the food. It was just so unhygienic. Overall, I would not recommend this place at all.
By far the best authentic Hyderabad chicken65 biryani in Brisbane!!!!! Hands down the best flavours and spice level. Definitely give it a try!
Not acceptable. Too much food colour. The Chicken 65 was over cooked and very red in colour and looked dangerous.
Really good food (i m not an expert, but I liked it) good service and nice atmosphere. Strongly recommended.
Amazing food in Westend enjoyed every bite of it
We ordered a takeaway chicken jumbo biryani and found it sufficient for 6 people. The birynai had good sized chicken pieces but was lacking the punch. It was dry. We also ordered paneer butter masala and butter chicken - quantity was less for the price we paid, and while the taste was okay, a layer of oil covering the curries wasn t appealing. I do want to give them another try, this time a dine in to see if the taste is different
Hubby and I used to go here regularly when we lived near Brissy. Best Indian place weve ever been too. He loves it so much, that I bought a Biriyani to bring back home on my flight. This Biriyani has travelled all the way from Brisbane to Cairns. If you havent tried this place yet. I highly recommend the platter for 2 :)
Everything is perfect but cleanliness need to improve lil bit
Lamb shank was excellent
Best chicken 65 in Brisbane right now
Amazing food! Will definitely be coming back here. They have extremely generous serving sizes and it is made with love.
Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Food was horrible, took over an hour, butter chicken was FULL of oil, naan tasted so bland and the service was terrible. Would never recommend
The food was delicious. Thanks
Food was one of the best Indian food I ve had in Brisbane (I am Indian). Ordered chicken 65 biriyani and tawala goash and both were amazing. The time it took to wait for food was a bit long but it was definitely worth the wait and you could tell the food was made fresh
Went with some friends after a game of cricket. Were all impressed by the food which catered for all dietary requirements and still tasted great. Vegetarian options: Paneer tikka masala
Beings from Hyderabad my expectations from biryani is very high. The taste is little similar to Hyderabad but it s hit and miss most of the times and I m damn sure it s not dum biryani at all. Do not expect any type of service from this place, it not their business model. Parking: Free parking in west end is very rare
Beautiful food & great service & kind people. You ll be very full & satisfied. Vegetarian options: Salads and curries Dietary restrictions: Have vegetarian options Parking: Easy parking & big car park. Kid-friendliness: Have baby chairs for your kids,
Authentic biryani. But would recommend getting paneer biryani options for vegetarians.
Quick and friendly service. Excellent biryani. Average chicken 65. Must visit if you are looking for a Hyderabadi biryani.
Best mendi in the area
Chicken 65 Biryani is absolutely delicious and perfectly spicy. Lovely service as well.
Food taste, service, price all 5 stars. Best dish to try is Mandi
After a year, we are back again to this place.. still very good food...!! Highly recommended! ** *** ****** We have ordered butter chicken, chicken Tikka marsala, vege curry, lamb briyani, mandi lamb n 3 different Naans.. All were delicious... Sooo good... Take note that this place doesnt have alcohol license, so no alcohol is allowed. Not an issue for me. Highly recommended this place!
Very rude staff.
Save yourself the bother, buy a bottle of butter chicken for Aldi and call it a day. 5/6 meals arrived after an hour, one meal waited 1hr30, 2 meals were half sized because the chicken was cremated. Rice was forgotten and bread was cold. The food itself was nice if it was cooked right, on time and remembered.
Have had food many times and food has always been highlight although service is hit and miss depending on who is on that day. Placed a takeaway order and when reached to pick it up, staff blatantly said there was no order, even after showing conversation duration over phone, staff still in denial. Food
Service was excellent, food was delicious and portions were large, had a table near the footpath has a nice atmosphere. 5/5
Best Hyderabadi biryani in Brisbane and very friendly staff
I just ordered chicken biryani ..they sent me frozen biryani .how can someone sent you frozen food.
Meal was delicious, proportions are generous, will definitely come back
Oh! where do I start from? Such a sad and unwelcoming place to dine in with tables covered with flies from the left over food that was kept there un attended. The person in charge also seemed a mean when we asked if there was any vegetarian option in the biryani (which they clearly did). He said they ran out of paneer and stopped cooking paneer biryani a couple of weeks ago which clearly states that the food is not freshly prepared. I wouldnt recommend anyone dine in here. Vegetarian options: Apparently no vegetarian biryani options which are mentioned in the menu.
Amazing briryani ever i could have in Brisbane
Our search for delicious biryani in Brisbane has finally ended. Biryani place rocks!! We ordered three Biryanis, chicken 65, chicken biryani and chicken mandi!! And all three were too good. Highly recommend!!
Really bad service. We had to get our own drinks since they did not come. The food did not come at the same time, we waited almost an hour for all food to come. Then I got the wrong dish. This while we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. The toilet was also not clean. I hope this review will make them improve the service.
~~Beryani Place is the go-to spot for authentic Hyderabadi cuisine. Renowned for its high-quality Hyderabadi biryani at affordable prices, The Talwah chicken is also highly recommended. We also enjoyed Chicken65 and Tandoori Chicken. Everything met my expectations. it also offers spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas. The service was excellent, with Mr. Anwar providing exceptional service. Thanks to Rana Ali for recommending this fantastic place and for the hospitality. Thanks Rana Ali and Anwar
If I had to rotate out of 100, I would put between 95 and 99%, because I dont believe in perfection. But for this restaurant I will give it 100% because its simply the best. Quantity is more generous than other indian restaurants too, making it an especislly good option for young hard working men like myskef. . For this reason, this shop tops my list of best dining experiences Ive ever had. Thank you biryani place.
great food, friendly service, cheaper price, generous portion! the best bryani ive tried so far in Brisbane. I used to have authentic Hyderabadi Biryani right in its homeland and this one taste close to it. I did reccomend this place to my friend and they were all happy with the experience.
Such a great dining experience
Lovely selected spices and very friendly service.
Went there during ramadhan. They give us free fruits to break our fast. The portion is also a lot. Totally worth it. Its soo delicious.
Decent staff and great food. Got a free drink as well.
Great curries. Nice cosy restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining (undercover). Was there mid-afternoon, service a little slow but otherwise very good. Vegetarian options: Mixed vegetable curry has great flavour with quite a bit of spice. They do offer mild. Parking: Vacant lot next door offers paid parking. You need to download an app for your phone.
Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, every bite was a delight. I highly recommend trying Biryani here it was a true standout
Food tastes like I am eating in India Full of flavours and a smell of fresh cooking, full bodied gravies with plenty of spices cooked to perfection Friendly staff offering services matching my taste to best dishes at affordable prices The environment makes me feel like eating at the best place in the town I must return to this restaurant and recommend that everyone must visit
Tandoori chicken too hot never had in my life before. Raita is salty. Don t know how to make it. Chicken Biryani is pretty much plain not great. Worst rest room ever seen in life. Please maintain. Not sure how it got 4.3 star.
very friendly staff very fresh tasting food. also HOT. I particularly enjoyed the aromatic tadka dal and succulent chicken tikka.
I travel alot for work and have been to many places in Australia and tried a lot of Indian restaurants, but I have to say this - I have never come across any Indian restaurant with such authentic tandoori chicken! After discovering this place, I flew my wife here to try the tandoori chicken. Really good food. We ordered chicken tikka, Lamb Mandi and tandoori. (Sorry dont have any photo of tandoori chicken as we were busy eating it)
Very good food, fairly priced, super friendly staff. All around an awesome experience. Would recommend, especially the butter chicken and the paneer.
Best place for non vegetarian. Much visit Food
Recently ordered a Lamb Mandi as takeaway. The staff is very friendly and explains the dish very well. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the rice cooked with the broth had great flavour. I don t eat spicy food and this dish is perfect for someone who would appreciate the flavour of the meat. Will keep coming back for more! Cheers
Food is excellent. Amazing authentic flavours. Rich, delicious, looks good, smells good tastes good. Will certainly be back!
A perfect spot to gather with friends and indulge in a delightful feast of Biriyani or Mandi, this place offers a spacious outdoor area equipped with fans a welcomed respite during the scorching Queensland summer. While the Biriyani and Mandi dishes are undeniably excellent, my favourite is the juicy Lam Shanks. Regrettably, the current service experience falls short as of January 2024. The lone staff member at the counter manages all customer interactions, from taking orders and serving tables to cleaning and multitasking with other cleaning duties simultaneously. This understaffing has impacted the overall service quality, and improvements in this aspect would greatly enhance the overall experience. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options available are quite restricted. Parking: Multiple paid parking available
We ordered chicken 65 biryani and appolo chicken for dinner,it looked good but the chicken in both dishes got over cooked and very hard to eat and too much of corn flour coat in them.briyani taste was also not so good,we would not recommend this place.
Best authentic Hyderabadi food
Great vegetarian platter! Excellent vegetarian biryani Bought platter for 5 but it s enough for 7. Large serving. Value for money.
Best indian meal Ive had for a while, excellent!
Biryani was delicious. Great Food overall.
Biryani was awesome..Best we had in a long time..Would recommend take away though..
In the realm of biryani, this establishment proudly stands as the epitome of authenticity, truly embodying the essence of Hyderabadi culinary artistry. Its not merely a claim by name; its a gastronomic journey into the heart of Hyderabadi flavors. The biryani, crafted with meticulous precision, and the tandoori items, a testament to genuine expertise, distinguish this restaurant as a true ambassador of Hyderabadi cuisine. Even during peak hours, when the atmosphere buzzes with activity, the commitment to authenticity remains unwavering. Its not just a restaurant; its a portal to the culinary heritage of Hyderabad, where every bite is a celebration of tradition and taste. For an unparalleled experience of authentic Hyderabadi biryani and tandoori delights, this establishment is unrivaled, setting a standard that goes beyond mere namesake claims.
Great taste...Recommended..
Great, authentic Indian food. Nice atmosphere and warm service. Highly recommend
Always friendly. Great food. Amazing value.
These guys have got the best biryani in town!!!! Just what youd find in Hyderabad!!!! Amazing flavours and quantity... The customer service is amazing also !!! Def coming back again
Delicious Biryani. However, they need to install a basin for wash customers hand. Now, if you need to wash hand, if have to go to the toilet. Quite uncomfortable
one of the worst place ordered lamb but look its like they just gave me burnt chops I never gonna order here again even they forgot my drinks such an idiot place.
Tried the chicken biryani (family pack) thats meant for 3-4 people. Its a great combo of quantity and quality!
Todays biryani taste was awesome. Recommended place to have Authentic Hyderabadi Biryani.
Decent place, lamb mandi is phenomenal.. definitely worth a visit.
Food was amazing. Recommend it.
I recently dined at Biryani Place and found the culinary experience to be quite pleasing. The flavors and quality of the food were commendable, reflecting the establishments dedication to culinary excellence. However, I believe there is an opportunity for enhancement in the realm of customer service. While the gastronomic aspect of my visit exceeded expectations, the same cannot be said for the service received. The staff, though courteous, seemed to lack a certain attentiveness and proactive engagement that would elevate the overall dining experience. I firmly believe that with a concerted effort to improve customer service, Biryani Place has the potential to not only maintain its reputation for delicious cuisine but also establish itself as a paragon of exceptional hospitality in Brisbane. I look forward to witnessing positive changes and returning for another gastronomic journey.
Very nice place, really good food. Today was slightly slow service due to catering but otherwise was worth the wait!! Def need to check this hidden gem in westend.
Lamb Biryani, Lamb shanks was amazing. Staff are friendly. Price is better than other biryani places. Couple of times in the past I had to wait for more than 30mins but today we didnt had that issue (Thanks and keep up the good work guys) This is my new favourite
Use to buy from them regularly, but this time they gave me old rice. As soon as i got home and opened it, i saw the rice was sticky and it had a funny smell. It smelled like they were using yesterday s rice
Food is average but the customer service is worst. Just because of we are not visiting as a family doesn t mean we are not your customers. The guy at the front asked everything about food and service to the other family person in front of us and literally not even said thanks to us for visiting. You can do better with customer service.
We ordered the lamb mandi and a curry. Was so yum. Definitely coming back.
The best food today we bought lamb Mandi the potions are fulfilling the taste of it is juicy tbh the best i have tried and it beats Sydney Mandi
My husband and I had lunch here fantastic food and service was very welcoming and friendly thanks guys keep up doing what you re doing
Amazing food loved it. Recommended for families and group of friends
The best biryani in the entire Brisbane region. Amazing, to say the least!
Butter chicken my fav
Amazing food Mus try
Tasty hyderabadi biryani and plenty of options to choose from. We took the family biryani which was more than sufficient for 4 people.
Generous portions, great taste, kind and accommodating staff
The best Indian food I have tried in Australia! The biryani looks insane!but i ordered palak paneer as I could not have rice today. Nazeer is super awesome and prepared the best palak paneer I have tried ever! I will come back very soon!thank you. It os worth every penny!
Very tasty food ! I really enjoyed the dinner
Beat Indian I ve had since I lived in India. Top class excellence
Very disappointed with the customer service. We travelled all the way from Springfield Central to West End just for this restaurant (I guess you can not trust high ratings all the time!) Upon arrival, the atmosphere of the restaurant was dull, empty and lifeless (other than the flies it had indoors). We were also not greeted nor allocated a seat. We helped ourselves to a table and some guy got us water and menu. (The glasses were not clean and had food stains to it). While we were deciding our food orders the guy serving us was using a toothpick right in front of us (not a very hygienic start to ordering). Then when we asked for vegetarian options as two of my friends are vegetarian the guy serving us said that they haven t made vegetarian biryani s in a while and they would not be able to make vegetarian biryani (THE RESTAURANT NAME IS LITERALLY THE BIRYANI PALACE and they have Vegetarian Biryani on their menu). I asked if they have ingredients (such as Paneer) to make a vegetarian biryani and the guy said they do but they can not make Vegetarian Biryani. This was absolutely disappointing. We are absolutely not coming here again. I hope the owner sees this and takes this feedback into consideration. We unfortunately will not be returning to see if there s improvements done. The Punjabi Palace is just down the corner and it had better options and food quality and customer service was spot on.
The restaurant has terrible customer service for a review so high. The place is very unhygienic with flies all over the place and food stains on the glasses served to us. The restaurant also doesnt have many of the items on their menu. Very disappointed and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
Amazing food
It was nice to be able to eat authentic Indian food. Also, the store is spacious and clean. Mochtail is a fruit-based drink that is plentiful (for 2-3 people) and refreshing, making it even better to enjoy with food. Be sure to order a drink too.
The food is lovely this is a great restaurant i really enjoyed my food i enjoyed the experience at the restaurant we had a lovely meal my food tasted great the service was great what a lovely Restaurant Highly recommended Restaurant for events and birthday celebrations thanks a lot after longtime I Had hyberbed biryani
Great food and good customer service. Love it!
Loved the paneer masala. Great service by Awais
I tried the chicken 65 biriyani and I was totally unsatisfied. Is that a biriyani .
My favourite biryani in Brisbane!
The best Indian food in Brisbane. The food has changed my life.
For an Indian the biriyani was quite average but service was good. The mandi was not that good but the portion was huge. Food
Want perfect Hyderabadi flavours in Brisbane?? Name it veg biryani, chicken biryani or lamb biryani.. this place has surprised us. The best one!!
Best biryani s in Brisbane. Highly recommended for biryani lovers.
Worst place ever... chicken was burnt and naan flat like a roti. Sent chicken back after complaining about being over burnt and second batch was just as bad. Owner was trying to tell me this is how customers like it..mmmm dont think so.. Riata was running... definitely wasnt yogurt more like watered down milk.... very dispointing would never go back...dont waste your money or time..
Im always Skeptical of eating Biryani outside my City of Hyderabad, which is known for its rich and world famous Biryani. After having the Lamb Biryani at Biryani Place, it teleported me 9500 Kms back home. It was delicious, the service was great, and a little banter in Telugu and Hyderabadi Hindi made it even better. Highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again!
So delicious , everyone must try this dish I am pretty sure you will never find in Brishane. and chicken mix plater plus fish
Great food, we ordered way too much but were happy with the quality. We got biryani, lamb shank curry, and tiki masala
Great place. The Biryani and Mandi are extremely good. The mocktail compliments the dishes served.
Great authentic food with rich flavours. The platter was really good.
Best lamb byrani ever...... Must try...
Best Biryani
I ate all I could. It was amazing.
Flavourful, generous, & authentic enough with their food. My wife & I had a delicious taste of India & satisifed, full bellies, with just our order of Chicken Biryani, Cheese Naan, & Chicken Masala. Service was also polite & friendly, & there was a regular turnover of diners; was never completely empty. So definitely a hit spot for dinner.
Good portion food and nice taste
The Lamb Mandi here is the best I have ever had!
In general, it is a great place for genuine food and offers exceptionally good Indian cuisine. The quality of food is of high standard. However, normal service and atmosphere.
Delicious, cheap and big portion. Also halal.
Great authentic biryani. Friendly service.
Omg... This is some of the best food Ive ever eaten. Its amazing. Lamb biryani is amazing, chicken 65 is incredible. Lamb Mandi was stunning Vegetarian options: Theres plenty
Best biriyani ever had after 5 years!!!!
Went here for a birthday. Fantastic experience and staff were so friendly. The mandi rice was very flavoursome. Tandoori lamb is a must try, well seasoned and marinated. The platter for one can feed a rugby team. Great taste and value
Great food and amazing hospitality
Food was very nice and tasty everyone enjoyed it.
The food here is very nice recommend butter chicken , chicken biryani and the blockbuster chicken mandi
Love the biryani, especially my almost 2 year daughter!! She gets so excited when she sees it!!
Delicious
Chicken Mandi is not that good
Amazing food. Authentic. Great workers, great owners, great service. I cant ask for anymore. Quantity and quality never compromised. Must visit.
We ate Tandoori chicken masala and the spices are top notch very yummy and full of flavours. Will visit this gem of a place very soon. Food
We have ordered biryani and what we have received yellow rice with red chicken on top of it, this is not something we expected from biryani place . Disappointed with the taste
Loved the Lamb briyani and tandoori chicken. Lamb biryani was delicious and fulfilling. Chicken however was less tasteful than lamb but still great. Tandoori was special and a must try. Prices are reasonable. Service time needs some efficiency but overall great place to have hyderabadi biryani.
The biryani here is too good. We loved mandi, roti and curry. We loved food here and enjoyed it. One of the best indian restaurant in brisbane for indians where options are very few. inside atmosphere is bit average but outside sitting is good. We tried sweets there but its too bad.
I went today. This restaurant I ordered for chicken biryani, is not good waste. This people don t know about biryani waste people
Food is very tasty hydrabadi style and the spices they use are really good should try the.platter for 4 for sure ...really happy to go there again with few families to celebrate birthday parties
Great place, such a tranquil and homey atmosphere! Probably the best and most authentic Indian in town.
Very high quality and authentic tasting food. Vegetarian options: Great range of vegetarian options. Food : 5/5 |
Been hearing about this place for a while through friends and family. Finally got the chance to go there yesterday, and boy was it worth the experience and food! The presentation was done really well and the host was kind enough to give us starters (Chicken 65 - no extra charge) while we waited for the main meal.
Starter : Tandoori chicken or the lamb cutlets are the top notch (Spicy,Tangy and Juicy) Mandi & Biryani platter for 2/4 is the best combo which comes with proper Dum Biryani and meat of your choice Only thing they can work on is TIME Cant blame them as good or tasty things do take time Overall great food and descent price After my review I expect complimentary desert next time
absolutely amazing in all aspects. thank you
The phenomenal Indian cuisine, the food is truly amazing and the staff are great if you are in Westend this is must try I give this amazing store a 5 out of 5.
Deliciously vibrant food, true to the flavors of India with a concise and reliable menu. Not to mention the wonderful kitchen staff who know exactly what they are doing, and even make sure each guest gets what they need. Dont be surprised if you see a lot of Indians dining here, we have all gathered for a taste of home. Highly recommend trying their Biryanis and Goat Kadai!
Worst biryani i ever had , loaded with full of masala and topped up with small amout of oily rice. very disappointed..
Briyani, Chicken 65 & butter chicken were awesome .Mandi can be improved a bit .Overall loved it Parking: 10 dollars parking on the side but if you are lucky u might get one on the Main Street
Its been a while since I had such a great Indian cuisine. Keep it up, guys. The food was really good but missed the 5 star because of delayed service.
