Some of the best food ever

Friendly staff but flawed ordering app. I found it glitched out half the time and there was no way to see what you have already ordered. The food was average at best and the prawns we ordered were almost inedible.

Food and Service was awesome and superb. Downside is the lack of parking space, as its located at the centre of a residential area. Diners must park couple of blocks away.

My partner and i dined here on the 29th of October. We were exited to try the all you can eat, unfortunately I can t recommend. The place was clean and staff were friendly. But, we were sat at a table next to the only other person in the whole restaurant, and the tables are very close together. There are some good dishes and are great and freshly made, however others are not so good such as the tempura crab, it was spongy fake crab meat. Now worst of all we ordered two ice creams and both of them were liquid and off!! They smelt bad and we notified the staff. Food overall was just a bit sub par for the price. It was a ok experience but won t be back. Thanks you,

This is likely my first review, as it s the worst food I ve had in Australia. The entree had excessive vinegar that made my eyes water, and the teriyaki chicken was too salty to eat.

Dined in here recently, for the all you can eat with my friends. Have minimal comments about food as I would not be in the position to comment on how sushi performs - I have not been exposed to enough in my lifetime. However, have to note that service is great. Had a small issue with the staff and a moderate blunder, of which they ensured to quickly rectify. Overall, pleased with the outcome and happy with the problem-solving approach to ensure all parties walked away satisfied with the outcome.

So slow service, always missing our food

Excellent, wonderful and unassuming find. We were group of 17 with kids and we were accommodated well. From kids to adults no one was disappointed. Menu was extensive and upto the standards. The price was reasonable for delicious food and 2 hours were just enough to have multiple tasty foods. Drinks were nice. Plenty of options for vegetarian. Service was great. Definitely going back and highly recommend.

The idea of all you can eat Japanese seems great. Unfortunately the sushi and meals were sub par. Think not as good as your go to sushi train. Staff were super friendly and did a great job but the food just isn t measuring up.

A little bit disappointed by a couple of the dishes, the teriyaki chicken was very dry and very salty. The sushi was delicious. The drinks were great! Not much interaction with staff and not all are friendly.

Love this place - had been wanting to come for ages after seeing adverts on social media and wasnt sure what to expect but the food came out fresh, drinks were reasonable and we all came away thoroughly satisfied! Will definitely return!

Really shocked at how amazing, and fresh the food are. The food have bigger portion, we didn t have to wait long for the food in spite going there on a weekend. Overall, the staff was very friendly and the service was fast. We went on a Tuesday evening so the experience might differ in other days. Food tasted good in general. My disappointment was with sushi. I am very used to AYCE Japanese restaurant experiences. We used to go to AYCE Japanese restaurants in NYC or Boston all the time where I could choose which nigiri to get. At Okami, sashimi and nigiri platters come with those items that I don t want to eat :/ I don t care about too much rice which is usually the case with AYCE sushi but not being able to say NO to nigiri items I don t want was disappointing. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed the ice cream at the end.

Service was horrendous. Had wait staff argue with me about sauce on my meal due to dietary issues. Then when the manager came having the sauce removed from my meal was no issue. The sashimi was powdery and steak was chewy. Won t ever come back and will let everyone know about my experience In response to your review: no never again

Great value, and the food is great. Some dishes we ordered never came without the staff notifying us of the reason. It slows down after the first order, so youd have to wait for a while. Overall, it was great value, and we loved the experience. I would recommend people to book and definitely give it a go.

Okay hear me out, extremely good buffet. Not only that, but its Japanese. Amazing food everywhere, from sushi to udon to ice cream. A must try, and a value deal for kids. No photos today, sorry, but was an amazing meal that filled me to the max.

Had a family group for dinner celebrating two birthdays, and was treated to very caring service, with one staff member in particular going above and beyond to make sure that we had a good night. The food was good, with the beef carpaccio being the standout. Great value for money in my opinion. But most of all, I was just really impressed by the high level of service we were given tonight. I think you get better value choosing individual dishes at a regular Japanese restaurant. There were items in some dishes that I didnt really want but if you leave a certain amount on your plate, you can be charged extra. Not for me. Maybe its ok for those with a bottomless pit.

This was our second time to Okami- food is yummy and delicious, service was great, food was out promptly. This time we were at the second seating, much quieter and not so crowded. A very enjoyable experience.

The food is great and the staff is friendly. It was a quiet night so when we were still eating, the staff already started to clean the floor on the other side. The strong odour from the cleaning products was not pleasant when eating. Hope the management can address on that.

We cleared all of the dishes we ordered except for the garlic stir-fry vegetables and the fried rice - just a tad salty and a tad oily. Cold noodles were soaked in dressing which was a minus. Each dish has its own very strong taste. Quick serving speed. BEST green tea ice cream EVER. Very unique experience.

Booked table for 2 buffet. Friend couldnt come so I decided to go by myself but then only got notice 1hr before my reservation saying buffet can only do 2 people otherwise 1 can only do A la carte. That was disappointing because none on their website says anything about has to have 2 people to eat buffet. I dont know if I want to book again with my friend.

Great value & food was amazing. Staff were quick and efficient. There were plenty of options in small serves so we tried a wide range of foods just getting 2 person serves. Kids loved it. We had a small amount of left overs on a couple of things and did NOT get a waste charge as mentioned in other reviews. All in all my new favorite Japanese restaurant in 4101 & honestly couldn t fault the food & service esp for the price. Very satisfied. I would have taken photos but we ate it all too quickly. Yum!

Had eat-all-you can dinner at Okami the other night. Was looking forward to it based on reviews but was mildly disappointed. We tried almost everything on the menu. The dish that stood out the most was the stir-fry beef with onions. Apart from that, the rest of the food is just about average for me. Order through QR code. Price was okay. Ambience was okay. Service was okay. Street parking available. Parking: Paid/free street parking depending on the time. Might be some spots on the undercover basement but not 100% sure.

Bad experience. Expensive for the quality of the food, it does not compensate that you can order whatever you want, we ordered something that we did not like and since we did not eat it they charged us a 15% surcharge when they had not warned us that this could happen, and although we did not They would have warned us that we are not a garbage can, it is not our fault that the food is of average quality and we do not like it. To finish off the very poor hygiene, on the floor there was a dead cockroach and a jumping cricket that the staff killed before they saw it but I think thats not how you keep a place in good condition. My recommendation is to look for another place, for this price there are approximately 1000 better ones without a doubt.

it was super good, loved the food. the service was very prompt even though we came in pretty much just at opening time. even though the tables are small, it doesn t get cramped because the staff take away finished plates very quickly. almost no wait when we asked for water/serving spoons/desert etc. atmosphere was very nice too.

Really cant understand some of the ratings on here. This is a great place. Exceptional value for money, great selection of dishes and enjoyed everyone of them. The service was pretty fast and friendly even the place was fully booked. The service staff work so hard to keep up with so many orders and do a great job. Not a complaint but the only thing was there its a small place and thus very loud when full so probably not a place for a quiet dinner and parking in the area is hard to find. Overall thou really enjoyed our visit when in the area for a night from the Gold Coast and will be back. Please open a branch in the GC we will be there for sure.

I cannot understand people complaining about the food and/or service. All you can eat for $40? It is really good for the price. Staff is very friendly even though the venue was full. Perfect! My favourite Japanese place from now on!!!

Food : so disappointing, no Japanese restaurant would serve mixed leaf salad leaves, the food was bland, unknown filling in the spring rolls, Agadashi Tofu - no sauce , not a true Japanese restaurant. Service: The staff they did not want to be there, no greeting upon arrival, efficient yes but that was it. Atmosphere: 1 big echo chamber, they need to engage an acoustic specialist as we couldnt hear each other talk.

Deeply regret, this is my first time giving 2 stars to a resturant. I have to say... The management buffet strategy is really good. I acknowledge there are serving size indicated in every food. But this is a buffet. Imagine having 4 people serving just for 2 pax, its not fair at all. How are we supposed to try other food if per dish came in 4 people serving. In order to get sashimi, I need to order a set that comes with mix sushi as shown in pictures. In the end, we (2pax) become full super fast and unable to enjoy others. I also acknowledge that the price, its consider reasonable at $39.80. Cant expect top-quality food, the taste is so so. But the ice cream is good. For those that wish to try, bring more people go. P.S. there is a waitress, stun by her attitude. Firstly, she came to our table and asked in an attitude way what you want to us. After we told her, she pointed to the service card( to get us to flip the card). Second, she brought food to us, which we didnt order, we told her that we didnt order it, but she insist us to take until the manager told her to take it back. Well, maybe its a tiring day as the restaurant is very busy at that time.

The food has been good the two times we have visited. There are long wait times. We Ordered a katsu curry and rice, curry arrived on its own and the rice shout 30 minutes later so nothing really comes in order. Ended up forgetting what we had ordered due to the long wait times. Restaurant is very busy and the tables are too close together. Recommend the teriyaki steak.

Good was better than expected. It was hard to keep track of what we had already ordered - it got a bit tricky when it got so busy because it took a long time for certain. Dishes to come out of the kitchen. The waitresses tried to help but it wasnt very helpful in the end. Very very noisy when it got crowded (all hard surfaces no sound absorption). Highlight was the Teriyaki beef - very tender and juicy. Everything was better than expected (had very moderate expectations).

Great value for money, food was good. Everything came out really quickly. Glad the aircon was pumping otherwise it would ve been quite hot in there due to the tables being quite close but there was still room for us. Towards the end of the night one of the staff started cleaning the other side of the dining room but kept pushing and dragging the tables across the floor. It sounded like a train horn and kind of ruined the vibe for a bit. Nevertheless we had a good night and will be back!

Food not great. But there was plenty of it and the place was packed.

The beef carpaccio was excellent!! I disagree with the other reviews about the serving time being slow, even with a packed restaurant we managed to get our food in a timely manner. The atmosphere was great and the food overall was amazing! Thank you Okami.

All you can eat is good. Good is tasty. Atmosphere is probably too well lit and could use an improvement for ambience

Really nice food. Atmosphere is insanely busy and loud but not a deterrent at all. Service could have been a bit faster when ordering. We did go on a Sunday night (all you can eat) and for $30 a head its pretty good value. Just make sure you order all your food at once as soon as you sit down so youre not rushed.

Vegetarian options: Try the Kakiage Food

Mixed feelings....had high hopes because it seemed amazing with their instagram advertising...Firstly do not expect what you see on Instagram. We made a reservation and 100% everyone should...otherwise goodluck getting a table. Any how back to business. :) Absolute chaos...you get helped pretty quick but you wont get your drink until 20 minutes after being seated ( and by the way you only have 2 hours so get your order in soonest) I do believe the food is good when there is maybe 10 people....but when running at full capacity...food quality is not the first priority. Food was cold and nothing special. It is very sad because I am sure the chefs are great however I do believer the entire establishment can be run with more efficiency, more happy customers and less cold and sad food. Wont go there again but if I go back it wont be for the food .....Waiters very friendly..thank you for your service :-)

Very busy Japanese buffet but despite that we got our food relatively quickly. The sushi is delicious. Highly recommend the sashimi platter, beef carpaccio and the teriyaki steak. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is the limited parking around the restaurant but thats normal for west end This place is definitely worth a try.

I expected more. The food was very bland. We tried probably 60% of the menu and not one item stood out. They could benefit ALLOT with removing some tables as it is very very cramped, which almost every other review mentions. The order in which food comes out and also the quantities is confusing. The staff were very friendly tho. Needless to say withing 10 minutes of being there we all knew we would never return. Spend your money elsewhere. P.s no split bills. Which is just lazy in the staffs behalf.

A really good set up, great service and great food. It was really fun having a try of everything, a tiny little wait in the rush period but we were content to sit and chat. Overall great place, would recommend!

Food was decent Japanese - the steak mains were great. TERRIBLE service - the staff take your orders manually for all you can eat (highly inefficient method), we waited 25mins+ to put our second order through - asked 3 diff staff if they could take our order and we were ignored or told someone would come , meanwhile you see them walking around literally taking 10minutes to set a new table. Made us feel like that s why it was so cheap because you don t get any service. We expressed our unhappiness and met with no apologies. Will never go back again

I cant recommend this place enough. The food is fantastic! I was especially impressed with the Miso Steak and Spicy Squid. The value is incredible and the plate sizes adjust to the number on your group, so everyone can share and enjoy. So delicious.

My first impression was terrible because I arrived alone and they dont accept it. Dont think about wanting to eat alone!

The staff was nice and friendly but overall I was pretty disappointed... We had tempura, gyoza, takoyaki, taiyaki etc they all looked and tasted like frozen food. No flavour, just oily. Tempura batter was so chewy like glue. The squid in the salad had a weird texture, felt like a fake squid made out of minced fish meat or something, like seafood sticks, I didnt know what I was eating haha and dont even get me started with the veg gyoza. That was not nice at all. None of us couldnt finish it. Besides the food, the worst thing I experienced from this restaurant was that they charged us $12 for a tea bag. A TEA BAG. That was ridiculous. $38.90 for all you can eat is a pretty good deal, but I guess you get what you pay for :p

Totally overrated on TikTok .Quality of the ingredients used were poor and cheap . Taste of the dishes were not great either. Feels like eating failed home cooked food but paying restaurant price. The only thing that was up to standard was the ice cream. 40 dollars for all you can eat buffet sounds like a great deal but I would rather pay a little extra to get better quality food . I don t recommend this place at all

Went on Fathers Day and it was very busy. Wait staff were excellent. Under a lot of pressure they took orders efficiently and delivered food promptly. Food came out quickly and all was delicious. Empty plates were cleared very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Ice cream would be the best dish from okami. I had a big expectation since everyone was going hype about it but the servings were very slow, udon especially was so bland I couldn t even taste anything! Sushi platter was ok, but could be better like the rolls were just rice with tiny bit of tuna. Not worth the money seriously.

Food was very slow to come out. Like the want to feed you waiting on food to make it all you can eat in their time frame . We ordered 2 or 3 potions but only had 1 put through to the kitchen. All you can eat but I left hungry. Menus taken off us at 9pm.

Absolutely top class food and service! So so many options and tasty food. Really impressed during my first visit and will be back for more! Only downside is tables are small, so if you order drinks etc it will be hard to place it all.

A $40 all you can eat Japanese buffet . Went there and it was super busy, food is okay, some good items on the menu, some okay. They appear to be short staffed, but the staff on duty handle the work load well considering they are short. We would go back as $40 Japanese buffet is still a good deal.

Great value for money. $40 and between 2 of us ordered more than enough and all the dishes were really great tasting. Sushi and sashimi, steaks, karaage, katsu, squid, tofu and more. Service on the night was a bit off, our orders were given to different tables a few different times, which was very frustrating as we were very hungry. New staff still learning the layout. Staff still all very friendly and attentive given how busy it was. Restaurant was packed, so pretty noisy, but still a pretty good atmosphere. Will definitely return with rest of the family.

I didnt realise Okami have been around for 10 years, though only recently entered the Brisbane market with 2 stores in West End and Springwood. We visited the West End store and didnt quite manage to cover every single one of the 41 item available but did make decent ground with 25. My top 5 favourites/recommendations are: * teriyaki steak * miso steak * potato croquette * eggplant salad * cold soba (buckwheat) noodles Fans of sashimi will also want to get the sushi & sashimi platter which includes salmon sashimi, or the sushi nigiri platter. I also didn t include desserts in my top 5 but make sure to leave some room in your stomachs to finish your meal on a sweet note with a scoop or two of ice cream (3 flavours to choose from) paired with some green tea taiyaki. Overall the quality of the food was pretty decent. Im not expecting top-notch fare with this price point and format but most items met/exceeded those expectations. Ordering is done at your table (flip over a sign to indicate you want some attention), and note that the food is designed for sharing so portions can differ depending on the size of your group. So if you want more or less of an item do let the staff know so you can be served appropriately. You can always start smaller to sample items and order more of the ones you find to your liking. Service was fairly attentive and we had a good flow of food to our table so were never left with nothing to eat for long. I would recommend bookings as the place was pretty busy on a Wednesday night. It can also get pretty loud inside, so I suggest you bring your squad and get hyped up to contribute to the lively atmosphere!

The place is pumping. Lots of customers. The staff are run off their feet which is to be expected because they re trying to hit a price point. A lot of the food was good but the takoyaki is atrocious. All batter and almost no octopus. I dissected one which you can see attached to this post.

Ive waited here for over an hour for a 5 person sashimi platter and still nothing. We have two hours to eat but I havent eaten anything for the first. Our first sashimi platter arrived at 21:10 when it was ordered at 20:00. Is this truly all you can eat or is it just a sit-in purgatory experience? What would a pescetarian feel if they went with their meat eating friends here and didnt eat for over an hour? Why are people seated later being prioritised before us? This place needs to figure out how to make food faster because this isnt it. Theres a reason fast food is successful and low quality ingredients is such a minute part of it, its more that the economy of scale allowed them to make them faster. Sushi is not a slow food to make; neither do patrons of an all you can eat do not have high quality food in mind. So why is this so slow? Either lessen your tables until you have enough kitchen staff to cover all tables and increase your costs or dont call it an all you can eat because it clearly isnt one.

We walked out after 20 minutes of waiting to place our first order. The waitress didnt acknowledge us the whole time we were waiting. Very cramped seating. Dont bother going, not worth the wait and the atmosphere is bad Service

I have been to there other locations and was also lovely. Food was amazing but took a really long time and our last dish took so long we left before getting it. I would totally recommend but I think they just had a hard night tonight. Definitely recommend trying everything it s all so yummy

The service was terrible and honestly the worst Ive ever experienced. Our table was not set up and we had multiple waiters/waitresses come by and even looked across as they were clearing the table next to us and didnt even bother to notice we had no cups or plate. We waited almost half an hour with our service sign up before someone came by. We got water and had no cups. How were we supposed to drink our water, from the bottle????? I had to grab the attention of the waiter cleaning the table near us to set up our table up. Also, the waiter dropped plates on the floor as he was setting up the next to us and instead of grabbing a new plate, he put it back on the table. This is extremely unhygienic! The food was not fresh at all especially the seafood. We felt quite sick to our stomachs afterwards. Everything was just disappointing from the service we got to the food we recieved. Definitely not worth the price.

The food service is quite not at the standard. There is no wait staff at the front to stop the let people going in while waiting for thier seats. The tables and chairs are really close to each other. It is not even wheelchair accessible as the space is not enough to wheel them around. The table are wobbly.

The overall experience was pretty good. However, the staffs explanation of the all-you-can-eat service, which is based on table size, was not very clear. The setup with long tables for many people wasnt ideal. It would be better if they served normal-sized portions and adjusted for the number of diners at the table. For instance, I ordered takoyaki, and despite being the only one eating them, it arrived with 15 pieces, and I had to finish them all to avoid extra charges. This left me feeling overly full and somewhat detracted from what could have been a great experience. Despite this issue, the food was tasty, and there was a good variety to choose from.

I was pleasantly surprised. When I was told about all you can eat Japanese I had my doubt as to the spread or quality. Thankfully, neither of those are lacking - while there is a limit to the types of sushi/sashimi you get on the platters, theres plenty else to make up for that. And its honestly very good quality so far as my limited experience could tell. I will definitely be going back. Loved our night out. Yes it was full and alot of people eating, laughing, talking. If you dont like noise then dont come here. I loved it, the food was awesome! Love eating so many different dishes, so delicious and the wait staff were so quick, friendly and efficient. So worth every penny, highly recommend... Ill be back! Do like we did and order everything from get go except dessert. Never had to wait for our meals was just a perfect consistent flow. Dessert at the end was perfect, my favorite was the sesame ice cream and deep fried green bean paste.yummy! Vegetarian options: We were a party of one vegan, one meat eater and one vegetarian...Okami catered perfectly for all three of our dietary needs, no complaints.

quality of food is of a high standard and good price, especially with whats included in the all u can eat menu. my only critique would be the space, you could literally touch elbows with the tables around you. for people who are hypersensitive, have sensory issues or neurodivergent it does get quite busy due to its popularity, so might not be the best place. its good to try at least once. the miso steak and taiyaki were my favourites.

We came there late they delayed the last order waited with patience. Value food but also taste good the other hand. Highly recommended.

Food was good and all you can eat sounds good, but service was so slow wed forgotten what wed ordered by the time it started arriving. Also, the walls and furnishing are such that all noises are reflected and amplified, making it difficult to talk to the wait-staff unless you are right next to them. Parking: Road full of restaurants with very limited parking.

Booked in advance and specified our prawn allergy just like the website asked we went all the way out to West End which isn t local for us. We ordered our food and double checked about our allergy . the waiter rudely told us our allergy couldn t be accommodated for because everything is touching in the fridge and there s cross contamination everywhere . When we said we put it in our booking he told us well everyone has different allergies so we can t clean the whole kitchen for you . He snapped at us and told us he had 10 other tables to attend to. Rude and a blatant lie on the website that they can accomodate allergies. Even a call from them telling us that we wouldn t be able to dine would ve been appreciated. Never going back

To ALL EUROPEANS: the standard for this all you can eat is so low compared to European ones. Every single item is frozen and cannot get any cheaper that this. Had to leave earlier then expected. Food

Food was hot, tasty and had a great selection. We went on a Saturday and it was very busy/too loud so Id definitely recommend going on a quieter night.

The best way to enjoy the food0 is in a group - each person order something different then share. Theres a piece on each plate for everyone. If u particularly like something, then re-order. Try it all but they have a wastage fee of $5-$15.

All you can eat? I was seriously disappointed. I ordered a sushi sashimi platter for each person (5 pax) and they only brought 1 platter. I had to ask twice more before they brought out a small plate each. Being a Japanese restaurant the service was nonexistent The Taiyaki is a dessert with Matcha filled but tasted and smelled like onion rings.

Don t waste your money. Horrible quality of food, everything was soggy, mushy, cold and meat was chewy. Stood at the door for about 5 min multiple staff looked at us and didn t acknowledge I had to wave them down. They wanted to seat us at a table in the kitchen outside the toilet. Good if you don t know how to cook because it s average and even that s a generous word.

Couldnt believe I missed this place all these years when I was searching for either sushi or buffet restaurant. Sushi menu is not vast but covers all the usuals. And there is just so much other dishes to try on. Al tasty. Not giant portions so you can try as many variety as you like! Highly recommend.

Been to many buffet places and the quality of the food and the taste at Okami is unfortunately disappointing. The varieties on the menu might be tempting however the taste is not. The stars are dedicated purely to the staff here, they have given the best customer service, friendly and attentive except for their manager at the counter ( in all black uniform)

Arrived at Okami earlier than our reserved time slot. The staff were amazing and luckily our table was free so we were seated almost immediately. Food came out really quickly. Food, drinks and service at Okami were amazing and I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.

The food is really good and the service excellent. You can eat all you want for 2 hours and it costs only $40. The waiters are really fast, its not a fancy place , I would avoid it for a first date as there is white light and it was also very cold. I really recommend it to come with friends. My recommendations: the table with niguiris and sashinis , the gyozas and the okonomiyakis

I think food was alright, but to be honest, all the fried plates taste a little funny, and I have worked in restaurants and that taste was from old oil.. the oil needs to be changed every week, that oil they ate using bas not be Changed for a while.

Ruined the exquisite cuisine of Japanese sushi. we were charged on wastage for food that is deemed not great for us family to finish and swallow, not because we can t fit. food was not great for us to eat in general and was unfairly charged. ordered adequately enough for our family and finished majority of it, what s left was only unpleasantry poor quality of food. noodles were drowned in oil, meat was overcooked and dry. takoyaki balls were served not hot. everything was served not fresh to par. sushi to rice ratio was ridiculously portioned, more chunk of rice than filling/topping and management expected us to continue eating on what s left on the table. they cant force us to eat their food if it s not great? all dishes tasted bland with the same like sauce used across menu. nothing different, nothing stand out. only that is buffet but this has ruined it. we are asian and a restaurant business owner ourself to well and truely know and have tasted many japanese cuisine across to know what s best taste like. management dealt with it rudely and poorly. left a distasteful experience in all our mouths walking away. won t recommend. only came for a buffet experience and the over hyped on tiktok. will let our asian community know to not bother trying as quality of food is below standard and management service is rude.

Really enjoyed the food but as it was a Saturday night it was busy which meant it was very loud.

Far too noisy, too crowded. Hard to hear people next to you and conversation over food is not possible. Food is okay but wait times and food order was woeful. Got my painfully thin chicken katsu first, croquettes 20 mins later, drink ten minutes after that and got the fried rice after thirty minutes. Overall a noisy disappointing experience. Did all you can eat ($39.50) Really simple system, quantity of food will come out based on how many people, so read the menu as it explains all this on the back. The food came out really fast, we also hardly had to wait for service literally seconds or maybe a minute or two. If you leave over 200g you can be charged for wastage, again clearly stated for those that seem surprised by this. Beers were reasonably priced, staff were friendly, dirty plates were cleared promptly. Great overall experience and value for money.

Great value for money. Its good to have an ala carte Japanese buffet in town. Food is great. You can order unlimited steak! So that is awesome. It can get a bit noisy during busy times but understandable. Naturally orders will arrive a little bit longer as the crowd doubles. All good though, would comt back again.

The food was exceptional, but the restaurant was crowded, and there wasnt enough space. The servers gave us poker faces, and I felt like one waitress was not happy with what she was doing. The older one who tied her hair was frowning. The younger ones were good. The other waitress with curly hair looked very tired and didnt even smile. I understand their job is tiring, so please fake it till you make it. Smile at your customers and dont give us a frowning face.

UPDATE: Was told to send contact information to the team so they can follow up with the experience and issues at the meal, it s been around 2 months and have not heard back. Food was good, service needs attention! We had a booking for a group of 10 and were seated promptly. Once seated we used their service system to indicate we were ready to order but no staff took notice of the service sign to take our order. Funnily enough they took the orders of 3 other tables who had arrived later than we did and we seated in the same area, the staff almost seemed like they went out of their way to avoid us. When we finally ordered the food came out quite slowly, it took about 1 hour before all the items we ordered from our first round of orders to arrive. Once all our food did arrive we were told it was time for our last order and we were felt pressured to make our last choices quickly. For an all you can eat restaurant we were only able to make two orders total. The venue is so cramped that staff were handing us food over our heads with many near misses and drops. When the staff cleared up some of the plates, an incident occurred where a plate was dropped and sauce was spilled over one of our groups clothing. No assistance was offered to cleanup, the mess was just left there both on the table and the floor. The food was good and would definitely be worth it if not the terrible service and rushed environment. Unless they can greatly improve on the dining environment and service I would avoid this one.

Extremely rude staff as soon as we walked in she was pretty much yelling at us as the restaurant was loud and she was upset that we went there without booking. I havent tried the food but I will not go back. It was a lady with glasses one and I didnt even bother to ask the name as I didnt even wanna talk to her more than 3 seconds

The staff were incredible - so welcoming, friendly and accomodating! We ve been to all you can eat before at other venues and you re usually waiting for your food, but the service here was so quick and efficient! The food was delicious and the all you can eat was great value for money! Especially considering the seafood sushi and sashimi included. Highly recommend the miso eggplant and green tea taiyaki for dessert. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
