Yum! The $15 lunch deal was fab! I had the yummy soba salad which was really tasty with a fab dressing, and a lovely beer!

We stopped there before attending the limbo show and ate a magnificent eggplant with a broccolini salad, both dishes were served nicely and very tasty Vegetarian options: Both our dishes were vegetarian and both of them were great

Wow, what a little gem this is. Looking for somewhere for a drink and some early dinner yesterday before heading to the footy and Frydays was jumping out at us. Staff, excellent - pleasant, chatty and nothing a problem. food also excellent and sitting with a beer and great food doing some people watching = great atmosphere. We chose 3 share-plates and were quite impressed, flavorsome, cooked to perfection with great accompaniments and well presented. Thank you Frydays, we will be back.

Wonderful experience here! You will definitely enjoy! We celebrated our best friend s birthday and it was excellent from start to finish! Food was not only exquisite in taste but also came out fast and service was incredible. We had a minor hiccup in our order but it was handled magnificently. We were served by the owner who is so lovely so an extra plus!

Chicken parmis just fantastic! Especially for the price with the lunchtime menu.

VIBES AMBIENCE DECOR Gen Z & millenial vibes! Im staying in the Valley and was told Frydays is one of the must eat at locations of the West End, which is a short awesome Ferry away! Primarily known as a cocktail bar the food here slaps! I had the best burger since I landed and that impressive to as QLD has some amazing burger spots! To this Canadian this is the best way to cap off a visit to the West End. The staff btw incredibly friendly and customer service oriented, which as a its more familiar so Id imagine Aussies would love this 5 star treatment with their next meal or cocktails too! They have food and drink specials and have a deadly happy hour! I dont know if theyd let students study and eat in the flower/green area but seriously the vibes are very cool here the music has been all bangers ranging from alt rock to British rap Must visit 5 star destination

The beef tataki and tteokgalbi are absolutely tasty! Also customer service is another level. My freinds and I enjoyed perfect Saturday evening with the live band.

Food was so good and also staffs are friendly and kind. I recommend Tteokgalbi and Tadaki if you are meat lovers. Was sooo good. Also the live music was so good for Saturday mood :)

Incredible Bar! Awesome atmosphere and a great vibe. Great layout for seating, perfect for individuals or groups. Great playlist and friendly staff. When the first beer passed my lips I transcended to another plane. That plane is called frydays and it is next door to heaven. Actually heaven is the basement to frydays attic

My favourite place to hang out with friends in West End. Tasty meals and snacks, and drink prices that are hard to beat, especially the Happy Hour deals. And to top it off the staff are friendly.

Pros: fun little spot, lots of room and food choices Cons: means are super small for price ($15 for just a burger), forgot our chips even tho the place was not busy but did give us 1 small free garlic bread that wouldnt be able to feed a babe.

All the food is so delicious. The chips are especially delicious, and the meat dishes, pasta, and salads are also great! There are tables where you can enjoy a variety of environments, and the staffs service mind is also excellent. I think you can have a great time no matter when you visit!

Cold beers, hot food and hot staff

They were so nice, and the dishes were amazing. If you never have been here, I recommend you visit this restaurant during happy hour.

If you go to happy hour, the price of beer is very reasonable. All the food was good. Personally, I recommend honey butter fried chicken. Its delicious. A good meal at a reasonable price is very good. Ill visit you again.

Cannot complain about a thing! Staff are amazing and make you feel welcome and valued. Food is delicious and also offers a vegetarian menu. Customer service is above and beyond, plus happy hour 4-6pm is $5 a schooner!

FryDays is a cool little bar located in the heart of West End. Enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drinks. Would return.

Menu at Frydays continues to get better and better - the online menu doesnt include some of the newer additions - a couple of seared salmon dishes sounded very tempting but I went with the beef pasta ... delicious! Currently plotting when I can get back there for more... 2 thumbs up!

The worst experience I ve ever had at a restaurant in Brisbane. Order took an extremely long time to come out , when our table were the only customers at that time. Staff were incredibly rude, the waitress had the worst attitude and then was making rude comments. They didn t have half of the food on the menu, and we extremely rude about it. Management then came over and demanded to see our receipts from ordering on the phone app, publicly embarrassing my table for seemingly no reason. I have never encountered something like this in Brisbane, just the worst service and management I ve ever come across and ruined the whole night. Would not go back.

Cool bar with awesome cocktails and drink selection. The staff were all very friendly. We had a few drinks and ordered different snacks to share. All of the food was tasty.

If I could give this bar 10 stars I would. The food was absolutely delicious, We tried several different dishes and they were all amazing.. cocktails are so beautifully presented and tasted fantastic too..Couldn t fault the service, staff are friendly and engaging.. the entertainer and the funky atmosphere made for wonderful night.. we will be back for sure!

Perfect food, music, and staff

Amazing Id like to recommend many people this place. I ate the crispy pork belly and crispy squid. Those were very delicious!!!!! And the staffs who always are smiling were so kind. Thank you, guys :)

Presentation is appealing but the taste and textures are not as appetizing. The potatoes were too crispy, hard, and dry as if it was the forgotten on the bottom of the fryer kind of texture. The steak was a bit tough with no sear on top; could have been seared after sous vide for better textural contrast. The garlic butter was alright. The spinach was a bit sour, I think it was imitating Korean pickled spinach; I see what they were trying to do, fits the restaurant theme I guess, but didnt fit the dish. $24, would not get again as there are better steaks out there and probably better things on the menu.

Everything is perfect. Was my favorite restaurant in westend and good for price. Food is very fresh. Especially I love house cocktail. That was a kiss kiss

Great food!

Went for some Friday afternoon drinks. The table near the bar is incredibly wobbly, full range of motion of the table will knock over a drink. Drink was knocked over due to this and we were made to pay for the spilt drink. This might be a little bit entitled because I could have checked the table s integrity but ultimately It s not somewhere I would return to.

Vibrant vibe and great food, had Fried chicken and Ttockgalbi for takeaway. Both of dishes were great but Ttockgalbi with truffle mayo combo was outstanding! Must try!

I could give it 2 stars but the service and atmosphere make up for it a bit. The food totally tasteless. We ordered with a friend and none of us got good food. I think they make anyone cook. The service of those who serve is correct and pleasant as is the atmosphere.

Bad service. Waited at sign telling me to wait for table for 6 minutes with at least 5 waitstaff ignoring me, including an older woman I assumed was manager who was too busy telling other girls to move their handbags. Expect health inspector coming and they aren t COVID safe. When who I assumed was owner was more worried about bags being in a cupboard, I decided not the place for me.

This place is super great for cheeky drinks. We went twice on our 4 day break. The manager is super nice, a fellow Melbournian and great conversation. He did a quick run to fulfill our request for a pims jug when they ran out of pims. He also went out of his way to make jug cocktails for our group. Cannot recommend this place enough. We ll hopefully be back soon.

The owner is so friendly. Great conversator and so is his brother. Such dedication for a new business owner. I couldnt recommend this place enough. Youll be seeing me more often.

This surely has to be one of the best lunch deals in West End. This wrap had Korean chicken inside it with salad. A few chips on the side, and one of four house beers for $15. You also get this amazing popcorn to munch on while you wait for your meals to arrive. Outside seating is cooled down by water misters, which means you can enjoy the food in comfort. There are also communal single bench seating along the store frontage.

Really nice venue.The food is amazing, across the range of different chickens that they have. Can honestly say you cant go wrong choosing anyone of them. Love place and highly recommend for casual drinks or a night out!

Liked the ambiance with live music. Had original fried chicken. It was crispy, mostly skin, not enough chicken meat and but too fatty. Comes with corn chips, chips, salad and tortillas but these were only a small amount. Mustard sauce was nice. Bar does cocktails and mocktails. Service was friendly.

A very disappointing experience. Feel like I wasted my money and really bad service. Uber Eats pick up and not all food was provided as per the menu on Uber Eats. Had to go back for fries and then was advised menu had changed and tortilla wraps no longer available. By the time I got home again the other food was cold. Would not recommend or return.

Cant recommend, the cocktails were very bad, everyone on our table felt the same, also the portion sizes for food were laughable.

Relaxed place for a catchup. A lot of excellent plates, focussing on fried chicken. Easy to share. Inside and outside dining options. A range of good cocktails and craft gins as well as your standard drinks. The small band was good, just maybe a little loud early in the night. Hi again Frydays! Maybe they could just delay ramping up the volume till about 830-9pm It was only noticeable because we were all trying to chat during our meal. Other than that we had a good time
