We waited 30 minutes for 2 plates of dumplings in a near empty restaurant that only had one other table of diners. Our food came out cold. The table next to us also sent food back for being cold. The service was awful, we were told the waiter had to call their manager to okay a refund. I wouldnt even bother going here again. Terrible

Food came out quickly (though desperately from other members of the table) but quality wasn t good. The rice was over cooked and cold, so was eating in fluffy lumps. The chicken was tasty, but dry and not very warm. The sauce didn t have much flavour either. I wouldn t go back.

The food is good, especially the fried wontons. But the rice is too soft. I hope it can be improved

For a place called Impressive Dumpings, I was not expecting the most impressive item on the menu to be the braised beef noodle soup. I definitely recommend the soup. Parking: Youll have to find parking somewhere in West End. Always a hard task.

Extremely BAD Experience. I have been waited for over 30 mins for just simple dumplings, it s ridiculous that they serve food timely for white costumers who came in same time with us and ordered more food. Asian food restaurant doesn t treat Asian people as well as white people.

Nice food (I enjoyed the spring onion pancake and prawn dumplings were ok) but VERY slow. Robot waiter is ok but needs more kitchen staff!

Shocking dumplings - most are frozen kind served with significant markup in price. Rock hard mantou (which they replaced, thankfully, though none of the mantou were any good). The satay sauce was only redeeming factor. Cant recommend it sadly.

Always adore their cucumber salad (S7), it s a beautiful sweet and salty crunchy masterpiece - we go just for this! Tried the pork dumpling soup (D1) last time, added noodles and was very pleased. It had a white pepper soup base that was perfectly paired with the pork dumplings Atmosphere is never amazing but food (and occasional novelty robot service) definitely makes up for it, will always be coming again.

Would give zero stars if we could. We waited nearly 1hr for our meals. Only one came out and after 45 minutes they said they didnt get the order when it was paid for and saw only 1 person got their food. After speaking with the staff (which couldnt understand english) we wanted a refund and just to leave as after we complained they said they would start making them now and even after waiting 15mins to give them a chance nothing came. We didnt order alot just a few dumplings. Note the place at the time only had 2 other tabled with 2 people. They finally said they would give us a refund and said they will process it. Showed us a fake page as our remaining party with no food never got their refund amounts. Extremely disappointing. Avoid at all costs!

Extremely salty food: spring onion pancakes, eggs, mushroom salad. Dumplings were not tasty at all. Nothing that we ordered was good. Horrible place.

One of the worst dumpling I have ever tried. If the chef doesnt know how to make xiao long bao, please dont put it on your menu. The dumpling is completely dry. The name of restaurant should change to unimpressive dumpling

It was one of my favourite restaurant. I could not remember the first taste of pork belly rice . Today , I ordered a pork belly dish as usual and got a burnt dish. Told it to male hall staff that mine was overcooked ,burnt and ripped. I tried to eat but could not eat half of them as It was too CHEWY. He said it was ok and looked just crispy. I asked him to make it again and just got a piece of pork belly. Never heard any apologise or explanation about the poor service. So, I was disappointed and asked for a refund. He just went somewhere to call a boss. After hanging up,he started to train a female staff while I was waiting him to come. I had to wait and call him again. Male staff should be trained again before training other staffs. So bad experience.

Have had dinner with my mate here and loved it. Good casual vibe, easy atmosphere and the dumplings are great. M

I have been there a few times and normally the food quality is good. But recently there is a huge drop in the quality of their dumplings - I think the filling is not fresh or they have kept the dumplings frozen for too long. One to avoid unless you dont care about the freshness of your food!

The food was incredibly amazing! I loved everything I ordered. Also the service is iconic , a robot delivers your food! And you can order from a QR code. Its the best for us non social folks. Also they played Tegan and Sara in the restaurant. I mean, can it get any better than that?

The chilli oil chicken is very authentic, I would absolutely recommend this dish if you re a chilli lover.

Love Love LOVE these dumplings, at such a good price

Absolutely loved their chili oil dumplings with crushed peanut on top. Lovely little robot brings over the food to you, it s all very easy and a nice atmosphere. Pricing was fair considering the amount of dumplings. My only critique is they don t have xiaolongbao but the other dumplings are enough to make up for it! Overall it s a great place to eat with quick service and a friendly robot.

Dont know what it is but lost its charm, now its just fast (Chinese) food.

Update. I have to apologise to Impressive Dumplings as I went to another dumpling place today. The worst decision it was horrid. I love Impressive Dumplings West End, and now I know not to venture away again. ...Great food, we love all the dumplings,and other meals and the ice tea is amazing. Friendly staff.

We asked for a takeaway container the waiter spoke to me in mandarin. I said i don t understand and he proceeded to yell at me and started being super aggressive. It was unfortunate because everybody else was lovely. Definitely should suspend that guy

We just wasted 45 minutes due to mistake in our takeaway order :( the funny part is that after 45 minutes they gave us the food but it was still not what we ordered.

My experience was okay, didn t like the noodles soup, the dumplings were okay, the big issue in this place is the hygiene!

The food was really good at first, the fried rice is not at all traditional tasting and tastes very overwhelming with flavour, im not sure if they use msg but me and my partner had a severe reaction that only could have been msg overdose

Tasty dumpling house with a large selection of different menu items including dumplings (obviously), side dishes and drinks. Well priced at less than $1 per dumpling most options. Very tasty and great service will be back again!

Amazing dumplings! Got the Thai spicy and the Lees spicy in pork and vegetarian. I highly recommend the Lees spicy sauce as I loved the crunchy texture from the peanuts Great teas too, our favourite was the winter melon Super refreshing and not too sweet. Spicy beef brisket was soft but not as flavourful as Id like. Overall great service and speeeedy waitresses considering the lunch rush! It was after the Invasion Day rally around the corner at Musgrave Park so it was packed with hungry marchers. My new fave dumpling place for sure!

Great food! Had the prawn and pork dumplings in hot and sour sauce and it was really good! The rainbow dumplings is a combination of the different dumplings they had on the menu from vegetarian to cuttlefish. They were served on a very thin crepe which was perfectly crispy. To be COVID safe, they use disposable cutlery and provide hand sanitiser at each table. However the tables were very close to each other that I bumped against the lady sitting behind me. Probably be better with more table social distancing.

They use a robot to help with meal delivery in the restaurant. It s so cute. The dumplings were good and there was a lot of flavor.

Foods impressive like its name suggests, but what impresses me more is the standard of service they have demonstrated! I placed an order twice by accident due to a glitch on the app, but the staff members were very patient and even followed up twice to ensure that the refund has been completed.

The dumplings in the special sauce are amazing! Hands down tastiest dumplings for price in Brisbane!! Love those chopped fresh peanuts on top. Yum. Other menu items are a little basic but the dumplings are what we come here for!

Staff are very friendly and the dumplings are all really good. Pretty much self-serve dumplings with the tablet ordering system and kiosk. The pan-fried dumpkings come stuck ontop of a crepe and its a little hard to separate them. The tea comes prepackaged - so no toppings or pearls, and kept in a fridge so they arrive almost immediately. I recommend the chives pancake, vege and chicken dumplings with peach tea

We have ordered rainbow dumplings. The presentation is nice but the taste is pretty average for me. Considering the affordable price, it s still good to have dinner here before heading to bars nearby.

Super friendly and lovely staff. Easy to find location but parking can be tricky. Food is super tasty and comes out fairly quickly! I ll definitely be back. I loved the cold noodle dishes, and the cucumber salad is hands down my favourite.

Staffs were friendly (I think one of them was the boss) but mixed feelings on the meal. I had 3 plates, all boiled. Pork and Chives was what one would expect from a dumpling. Classic taste. You cant go wrong with ordering these. I was surprised at how beautiful the Chicken and Corns were. Very sweet and goes well with the vinegar they have at each table. Vegetarian was... different. Whether you like the texture or not would decide if this dish is for you. Felt soft and unlike any other dumplings I had. Overall, I would go again if Im in the area next!

Spicy and sour rainbow dumplings are the greatest. Also love the cucumber salad (so crunchy and full of garlic). Dining in is an experience as robots deliver your food to you. Classic black milk tea is also the best

Hit and miss with the dishes. The friend pork dumplings triumphs the sze Chuan dumplings which were too salty for me. Interesting place with Robots serving food but really good service. May be back to try other dishes

A bit of a disappointment from previous times. Can t comment on staff too much because it was mostly a robot doing the customer service, making it an interesting experience but not really interacting. The prices of the food are fairly good although have gone up. Whilst the food has gone down significantly in proportions and due to the movement of the robot the food plating gets sort of messed up. I was quite disappointed that I was pulling my trays of food from the bottom area that was labelled and had previously contained used/empty plates. Unfortunately the app is gone and my points with it the drinks have gone up, and if there is, I am not aware of any discounts there use to be. That yakult/yoghurt drink was the best of the options, though it s gone now The types dumplings are definitely worth tasting and may surprise you with a new liking. Of the sides I would suggest the steamed braised pork bun and the pumpkin pies.

Horrible experience, I ordered from them through uber eats, 45 minute delivery time only to wait an extra 30 mins to get a message saying your order was cancelled & too late to order food from anywhere else, I was treating myself and ordering food because Im in hospital with my sick baby, now Im tired AND hungry and will be going without dinner tonight

The food in this restaurant is not bad, but I feel that the taste is not traditional Asian flavor but improved to cater to the locals. The locals should like the taste of this dumpling more. I personally prefer yellow dumplings, and my least favorite is green dumplings. The rice meal is cheap and the portion is full, but the taste is average, no surprises. All in all, average level, you will not feel disappointed or surprised.

Spicy Dressing Dumplings are very delicious!!! I really like that smell and taste. Besides, the noodle there is very juicy and yummy. I will go there again.

Fantastic dumplings with juicy and crispy taste A really happy time having a meal with my friends here. It has just became my favorite restaurant in BNE.

I thought this was a really cool place, I liked the ordering system through the ipad and the staff were also very nice. We had the rainbow dumplings, Cuttlefish dumplings and also the duck breast fried rice, and whilst the dumplings had very nice flavour, I actually found the exterior quite thick and a little bit rubbery. The fried rice was very nice and had good flavour. I definitely think Impressive dumplings has potential, they just need to perfect their dumplings.

I did not enjoy the dumplings. We ordered the rainbow dumplings and the prawn & pork ones, the fillings were all a bit mushy. Theres much better dumpling places in West End.

Amazing dumplings, highly recommend any of the ones with Lees spicy sauce, very tasty! Their dessert options are also fantastic, recommend the apple dumplings! Also their spring rolls are a must have, some of the best spring rolls Ive actually ever had. Theyre like mini apple pies. Out of the tea flavours I think the peach is the best! The store is only small with a small amount of seating and tables, so definitely recommend booking a table. We went midweek and it was still quite busy. All in all, great place for dinner!! Very tasty and great value!

BEWARE of this unscrupulous business. I placed my order via an app, got a confirmation email, and the money was debited from my account. When I arrived to pick it up, they said they were no longer using apps. I showed them the receipt for the order on my phone, but they refused to make the food I had paid for, and they also REFUSED to refund my money, instead telling me to contact the app customer service. Thanks for your response, however your claim that you have not used Bopple for months is not truthful, since you fulfilled an order the previous week, as per attached screenshot.

First experience there was a hair in the food told the waitress and she re funded us for just that meal which was ok. Thought Id give them a second chance but got refused service because it was 2:29pm and kitchen goes on break at 3pm which is also understandable but they where still serving food to tables so was a bit frustrated by that. All in all probably wont go back everything tastes the same.

Pretty good value for money. Wished they had more fried dumplings than steamed which is a minor gripe. Portion sizes were huge which was a bonus.

Second time ordering from here. The spicy dumplings are very nice. Also got apple dumplings and milk buns, they were really good. You can see in the photo the container of rice is a small amount, would be good to get more in the container.
