Our favourite breakfast/brunch/lunch place in West End. Consistent great food and service. The chef is amazing, her dishes are all delicious and so well presented, such a hard worker. Lovely little Cafe and one of my regulars. Black sesame latte on soy is delicious, as are the taro drinks. I LOVE the halloumi on sweet pea mousse dish so much - it is a very generous portion with an abundance of delicious flavours. The staff provide great service too :-) Food

We went for breakfast on Sunday morning, as we have done a few times now. My wife loves their iced coffee, which has the coffee shot in a separate glass, allowing here to make her drink as (weak) she likes it. The food is good, an Asian/Euro mix, with my choice being the Kung Fu tofu. This was great, with a complex mix of flavours and textures, and enough chili to remind you that you are alive on a Sunday morning. My wifes Bean Ragout was lovely as well. Top marks also, for the friendly service, and attention to detail with the tiny biscuit with the coffee, and the complimentary small serve of fruit, cream, and Hundreds-and-Thousands to finish our meals:)

Been to a few times. A small place full of warmth. Asian infused brunch with innovative ingredients. Lovely owners always greet their customers with smiles. Complimentary fruit dessert after each meal is a bonus.

Went for Brunch with the family. Amazing service and food. The kids had a great time!

Had a superb brunch with family this morning. A+ for service with cute smiles, all recommended food (crab omlette, seafood chowder and pea mousse) and drinks (viet iced coffee and iced oat lattes) were on point. Coming in from Melbourne, it was lovely to see the brunch game is going very strong here.

The meal met our expectations, and the Taiwanese sausage really tastes like Taiwanese, which is great! The waiter was also very nice and understood our needs and helped us pay more attention

My favourite cafe in Brisbane. Reasonably priced relative to portion size, different menu (Kung Fu Mapo Tofu) and drinks (hello Black Sesame Latte!). Cute little fruit dessert. The staff are lovely. It can get hectic due to the actual cafe space not being large. The opening hours were all over place, however, it seems much more consistent and accurate on Google now. Absolutely recommend!

I visited this lovely, friendly cafe today for the first time It has a very relaxed feel even though it can get quite busy. The service is fast and friendly. The staff and owner like interacting with customers and making people feel welcomed. They even offer customers a small dessert at the end of their meal, which is a rare find these days. It just goes to show how much they care about their customers. My Veggie Big Breakfast and Almond Flat White were delicious. One of the best club sandwiches in the city. Jacaranda is a quaint little coffee shop and restaurant in the centre of the west end, a few minutes walk from West Village. I had the club sandwich and my partner the avacado toast. Our meals were excellent and my partners coffee was really good. You also get a free little desert after your meal which is a great touch. I would definitely recommend the Jacaranda cafe.

Never been to this cafe/restaurant prior to today 7/9/24. My lunch was extremely nice, wild mushrooms with crispy kale and naan. The opposite was the crab omelette, crab obviously waved across the top, crab meat was devoid within, when questioned it was stated the crab is mixed with the egg mixture not placed separately as the omelette is cooking. Could be fish sauce who knows !!

Editing my previous 5* review Disappointing experience today. As regular customers who typically spend around $70-80 on breakfast and coffee, were surprised and disappointed to be asked to leave simply because we brought our own energy drinks into the establishment. Ironically, energy drinks arent even an item you offer on your menu. Unfortunately, this decision has lost you two loyal customers.

Came for breakfast / brunch on a Friday. Between us we had the waffles with ice cream, beans and the veggie burger. The veggie burger was quite salty, so probably dont add the bacon to it! Generous serving too. The waffles with ice cream were spot on! Plenty of ice cream and chocolate topping. I would have liked more berries, but not complaining as plenty of ruut came out as dessert The beans were way better than I expected. And so filling! Didnt need the bread, but it was superb. Definitely want to come back and try more on the menu. Vegetarian options: Lots of choice Kid-friendliness: Great with our toddler running around

We live in West End, however we hadnt been here and we were nicely surprised! We ate plates (most of them vegetarian) quite different to what you can find at regular cafes. They were really yummy and the portions were quite good.

Hands down the most amazing breakfast experience I have had in years. Great service, great coffee and the food was exceptional. You can see and taste the love and care put into each dish, beautifulully presented and absolutely delicious. We will be coming again

Food and coffee are always amazing. Price is very reasonable and food are always good size portions. The extra touch of free dessert makes the whole dining experience another level. When you are first seated, they will also pour your water for you. First class service! Love the food, esp the crab omelette, fruit toast and big breakfast. The new soft shell crab curry is so good too! Love the Vietnamese ice coffees and the kids choc milk shake is decadent and delicious. Food also comes out promptly and the owner will apologise if it takes longer than usual. Only not so good thing is it can be hard to get in sometimes as they are so popular. But the wait is always worth it! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Has free colouring paper and some pleasant surprises! Kids menu is great, esp the pizza and kids milk shake.

We had an amazing experience here this morning. We were welcomed in by a lovely man, shown to our seats which were comfortable and the correct height for the table, which seems to be rare for cafes these days. We ordered two coffees, the wild mushrooms, and the fruit toast (pictured). The coffee had great flavour, and was a perfect temperature. The wild mushroom dish was AMAZING I would eat it every day if I could. The fruit toast was also lovely with fresh berries. All items were well presented. The lovely man came out with a complimentary fruit cup with cream, which was a perfect little dessert. We will be back! Vegetarian options: They have a great range of vegetarian option.

Waited 45 mins for 1 latte and 1 benedict. Very slow service. Tables that arrived after us got their food before us. Extremely disappointed as I was looking forward to try the black sesame latte.

Saw the rating and reviews for this place and thought we would check it out as it was just round the corner from where we were staying, and it did not disappoint. We started with Vietnamese Iced Coffee and it was presented beautifully, I love that they had steamed the milk before icing it! We had to get the crab omelette and oh my days, it was delicious, and the potato wrapped prawn is a stroke of genius! The wild mushrooms were also fantastic, five different types of mushrooms, delicious pesto and super crispy kale, demolished! The staff were so kind and friendly, they even brought us over a little complimentary fruit salad with popping candy to finish off!! What a treat, would highly recommend!

The 4.8 rating is extremely misleading. Not worth that rating at all. Poor, very slow service. Mediocre coffee. Croissant not a croissant, just a bread roll pretending to be a croissant.

Because of this small but beautiful shop Jacaranda Coffee Lane Decided to catch the end of the flower season and see Brisbane s city flower Jacaranda Lets have breakfast first Crab meat omelet, coriander, scallion crisps, sweet and spicy sauce, the aroma of hometown, European and American methods, a combination of Taiwanese spices, the boss has been in Australia for more than ten years, and the couple s cordial and enthusiastic service

So incredibly impressed by the service, speed and quality of each meal that we all ordered! Truly phenomenal watching only two staff bust out such catering and meals. Beautiful presentation, amazing proportions, all round so satisfying and can t wait to return to try some more goodness!

Staff go above and beyond with their service and always have a friendly smile. Eggs Benedict on croissant had great presentation and taste. Keen to try out the other meals on the menu next time.

It pains me to leave a negative review but here it goes. Staff were blunt on arrival, no need. Ordered big breakfast with smoked pork belly and asian sausage, with soft poached eggs. Oily overcooked bacon and a supermarket sausage came out with under cooked toast with over cooked mushrooms and hard eggs. Please dont rest on your laurels! Its not good enough these days to make a plate look pretty, its about the food. Deliver what your customers order. I learnt commercial cooking up the road from here and even as a young man I would not have delivered that plate of food you did to me. Care, respect and most of all the food. You never know who will walk in the door. Peace

Came here with friends for brunch and had a lovely time! Decently priced given the area/quality/portion size and had some really lovely interactions with the staff. For a place that we randomly walked into off the street, this was great!

Amazing food and service

The staff are kind, fast turn over so it is not hard to get a table, but parking is very difficult around the Cafe, quite hot inside the restaurant as theres no aircon on and hardly get breeze due to the location. The food is average (I can understand that fozen prawns are still quite cold when the couple is very busy with lots of customers and servings) and overrated. No reason that I will never go again but personally, there is no need to revisit here.

Our first time at jacaranda Coffee lane and the food is incredible. We had the eggs Benny and mushroom. One of the best eggs Benny Ive had. The staff are also very friendly.

Just had the best breakfast/brunch experience I ve had in years. Very reasonably priced food served piping hot from the kitchen in great time, expert friendly service (gentleman server was literally jogging between tables at times), perfect coffee served hot with a complimentary baby biscuit and a complimentary serve of fresh fruit and cream with sprinkles for dessert. Very clean, relaxing atmosphere with beautiful little decor touches everywhere. Cannot recommend this cafe highly enough, it will be my new regular. Thank you so much!

Theres not many owners that are as dedicated as this... and that love translates directly into the food. We ordered the Benny on Croissant (with added hash brown) and an egg and bacon roll. Absolutely to die for! Such attentive service. Will definitely be back for more! Vegetarian options: Yummy looking vege burger as one meal option and other options to have mushroom or halloumi instead of meat.

Just had an amazing brunch here. The owner is friendly and easy to communicate. When I asked to swap the flat bread to a grilled tomato, he is very accommodating and doubled check my dietary requirements. The food came out quite quickly, and they tasted amazing! Best brunch I have had in a long time! Fantastic service - they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cater to your dietary needs and the food is fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Ambiance is peaceful and pretty, a good place to hide from the city hectic traffic. Me and my friends were there for brunch and all we ordered was delicious. We also saw some other plates and they looked and smelled delicious too! The staff was really nice and the service was quick. I really recommend this cafe!

This small cafe is a delight to visit. Truly the best service I have received in a very long time. Im assuming I was served by the owners as they had such positive energy and an infectious happiness. We were surprised at the end of our meal with some fresh fruit and whipped cream with popping candy. What an awesome way to finish up a breakfast. Id recommend trying at least once for yourself and you will be hooked. The fresh squeezed orange juice was actually freshly squeezed. I will be going back to try more of their offerings for sure

A fabulous cafe in the middle of bustling West End. All the dishes looked wonderful and were presented well. Coffee was good and service was very quick. I had the mushroom stirfry with naan and pesto. It was delicious, there was a generous amount of succulent mushrooms and it was full of flavor. We each got a complimentary bowl of fruit with cream as well which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back!

Was greeted by friendly staff and a diverse menu that mixes multiple Asian and Australian breakfast classics. The Katsu Sambo was a 5/5, I just couldn t fault this. The meal is finished off with a complimentary treat of fruit w/ cream and sprinkles. Highly recommend and a place bookmarked for me to return back to.

we went for brunch and had our pick of tables. staff was so nice he was really helpful and friendly and gave us recommendations for popular items! we ended up getting the crab omelette, eggs benny, iced macchiato and a mango & peach smoothie. the crab omelette was really tasty. it was a solid portion and we could taste the crab. the sauce paired really well with it and the bread was warm and soft, easy to tear apart. the eggs benny was scrumptious. gave a generous portion of meat and the dressing was delightful. the eggs were poached nicely and spinach was soft and plentiful. the hollandaise sauce was AMAZING too. the iced macchiato was so cute, it came with a pretzel and hello panda. it was good! the mango and peach smoothie was really nice and refreshing too. top notch service! at the end of the meal we were served complimentary fruits w whipped cream and sprinkles as well

After check out and final chance to walk around in west end, pop into JacRanda coffee for breakfast, we ordered breakfast burger and veggie burger and small chips - this is the best burger I have in past few days - juicy, sweet onion, running egg, cheesesssssss OMG - finished the burger within 5 minutes At the end, we have a little cup of fruit salad from owner, he said is welcome us, so sweet (forgot to take photo ) definitely come back again for breakfast

Kung Fu Mapo Tofu is always my favourite dish, a bite spicy, but really delicious, and the ice latte was really good, like the milk foam they put on the top. Chipotle pork Quesadilla was ok.

What a wonderful breakfast to start your work from here. Super yummy Breakfast Burger that Ive ever tasted in my life. Fried onion with thick well fried burger meat with delicious egg and crispy potato and sauce together. Highly recommended. I once again visited the popular brunch restaurant that my daughter took me to. Amazingly delicious Breakfast Burger, Topped with fried, crispy and thick slices of fresh hamburger meat, Paired with fried fried eggs and fried onions in sauce, Served with fried bacon, freshly fried crispy potato slices and lettuce! The mocha coffee I ordered today was great. I just discovered that there is also black sesame coffee, which I must try next time! It turns out that a delicious breakfast can make people full of energy! The popping candy fruits that come with the meal are also a must-have!

If 6 stars were possible, this place would be it. You can tell a lot of attention and care went into both the food and coffee. Writing a review so more people could experience great food and coffee.

An absolute favourite, never disappoints! Weve been regulars for years now and the coffee is always perfect and the food is consistently great, not only in terms of flavour and quality but also quantity - crab omelette and wild mushrooms are our go to picks. The staff are so friendly and polite as well, every time. Honestly cant fault this place if I tried.

We flew from Melbourne just for breakfast, with out doubt the best breakfast Ive ever had! Fresh, clean and OMFGlob was it tasty.

Really enjoyed my avo and feta here, but what really made my trip was the amazing staff. They were super friendly to me but especially to my newborn, like helping me with my chair when I was holding her and other extra touches to make us feel really welcome. What lovely people and nice food, I ll definitely be coming back
