Always so tasty and freshly cooked! We regularly bring the whole family for dinner, and everyone leaves happy. Friendly service, the staff are always so nice!
Found hair with its follicle intact in my food on 3rd Nov 2024. I was so so disgusted that I could not hold but throw up everything. I cannot comment on the taste of the food, it obviously left a bad taste in my mouth. Thanks to ubereats for their service and immediate refund. I am not ever ordering or eating there. Do not recommend, unhygienic and lack standards. Edit: Dear Owner, I have attached evidence to confirmed purchase. It is not far fetched. Regards.
I used to love going to Quan Thanh. We had a meal here recently and it was not the same standard that I remember. A few things to mention. 1) Our fried rice was very dry. 2) The toilet was very dirty, the underside of the seat was filthy. Please pay more attention to this. 3) The pigeons out front are relentless, they were constantly swooping, trying to get food from plates that were left by customers. 4) LOTS of flies out front.
I visited Quan Thanh on a very windy, rainy night; the last Saturday in September. I was keen to enjoy a hearty Vietnamese noodle soup and I was not disappointed. There was a slight mix up with my order; I ordered a Vegetable Noodle Soup and a Vegetable Laksa was delivered to my table. I was content with the Laksa and did not draw any attention to the error, I simply began to enjoy my Laksa and I was grateful for its warmth and nourishment. One of the staff came to my table and mentioned to me that she had become aware that I had ordered a Noodle Soup and a Laksa was provided instead. I explained that I was very happy with the Laksa and did not have any problems with this “error “. The staff member was unwilling to accept my response to the situation and insisted that I should receive a takeaway Noodle Soup as this is what I ordered and paid for; she then disappeared and returned shortly after with the takeaway Noodle Soup that was expertly wrapped to ensure no leakage. I thanked the staff member for her kindness and consideration and continued to eat my laksa. I took the Noodle Soup home and enjoyed it for dinner at home the following night. Both soups were delicious and filled with lots of vegetables and tofu. This type of exceptional service is very rare. I am very grateful to the restaurant for providing me with the takeaway Noodle Soup and I feel that this type of service should be recognised by sharing my experience.
All staff are friendly and polite that service is so great ! We dine in there everything is all good, especially for the spring rolls it really yummy. It’s a very wonderful experience for having dinner in there~
We’ve had such a good meal here yesterday. Everything in the menu looked amazing, so we asked them what they recommended. We’ve both got the noodle salade, and this was one of the best meals we had for a long time! It tasted just as good as my favorite meal I’ve had in Vietnam. Really fresh and amazing flavors. The springrolls were really good too and even the cake we had was really nice. Also the service was so lovely and warm. Its a shame we dont live in Brisbane, because we would be coming here every week.
Had a lovely lunch here! All the staff were friendly, fast and efficient. The food was cooked fresh. Came out lovely and hot and full of flavour. The Laksa serving size was huge! I recommend this restaurant 👌🏽
Super tasty Vietnamese always! This place has been a solid winner in west end, serving up great Vietnamese food for many years. Casual place, great for dine in or takeaway On my most recent visit, we ordered the crispy skin duck with fried rice, which was delicious. We also ordered a crispy skin chicken dish with steamed rice. Everything was super yum. Serving size was generous and the prices are very good. There's lots to choose from, too.
Nice little Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant.
Ordered on Uber eats. Very good service and when one drink was not available substituted and provided an additional drink free of charge. Very welcome surprise even though not expected. Would recommend.
Food is amazing, great quality and value for money. The music couldve been a little more upbeat, literally sad songs back to back. On a Saturday night, was not the vibe. Food 10/10
If you re wandering through West End and your taste buds are craving a Vietnamese adventure, Quan Thanh is your destination. This unassuming gem serves up some of the best Pho and Vermicelli salads in town think fresh, vibrant, and oh-so-satisfying. But the real star of the show? The grilled soy chicken with rice. It s the kind of dish that makes you forget about everything else on the menu. The marinade is a flavor-packed wonder, and the chicken? Perfectly tender, like it s been hugged by a master chef. So, if you re after a meal that s big on taste without big-city fuss, pop into Quan Than. Just don t blame me if you can t stop thinking about that soy chicken afterward!
I have been enjoying Quan Thanh hospitality for over 20 years. Always great cuisine. Relaxed casual atmosphere. Clean and friendly. Lovely family business. Miss the lovely colourful art and lanterns that used to adorn the walls and ceilings.
The fried rice with the beef curry tasted really good
Used to be a favourite but wont ever visit again. Pho was overly salty and overpriced, reduced portions and sauces have been water-diluted. Very sad to have such a poor impression of this place now.
Good food, reasonable price.
Very average food. Disappointing value considering how much we spent.
Excellent food
Solid viet place, was busy when I went at night and hard to find parking tho
One star at most. Poor food and service quality, dirty dinning environment.
Very bad customer service. My delivery pay was $24 and also I waited more than 30 minutes. After long time customer cancelled the order and I got nothing for my cancelled delivery and Waiting time. Cooking staff was too slow
It very good with great service and has great staff Kid-friendliness: kid men Food : 5/5 |
It was my first time trying here, Best Laksa ever!! thank you Chef
definitely a favourite place for me and my family to eat at, staff are always friendly, food is ALWAYS delicious and if i could give 10 stars i absolutely would!!
The most delicious Asian cuisine restaurant in the West End The taste hasnt changed since ancient times. Laksa is the best! Malaysian food and Vietnamese food are especially delicious.
Best Viet food, Ive been going to Quan Thanh for well over 20 years and its always amazing. Parking: Street parking is usually available
We really liked the food here, we tried just the sweet and sour chicken and a Chinese beef curry which were delicious, the last dish was served with roi, which wasnt the best, but the rest incredible. You have to order at the counter, but understandable when there are only 2 guys serving people. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options available Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is accessibility for a wheelchair, and maybe space wise it would be easier to eat outside, in the open space area.
The place was surprisingly delicious! I honestly loved completely my dish. I m looking forward to go back and try more things
Got the fried rice and baguette pork belly sandwich, taste was horrendous and char Siew meat was not cooked well
Wow. Best laksa in Brisbane.
Travelled over 1 hour to dine here. Been coming for 20 years. Food is always amazing, well priced and service is second to none. Made to feel welcome always. Experience overall is incredible. Definately worth the trip. Thanks again.. see you soon
Just tastes real bad
7, 17 noodle soup -> 17 seafood is better 25 Fried tofu salad -> separately served is better 28 rice paper wrap -> DYO is better Food : 4/5
A Vietnamese Restaurant ran by a Chindse Malaysian that also does Chinese and Malaysian food sorted ti the Australian taste.
The roast duck was absolutely amazing, tasty and juicy, and the Pho was delicious. Very generous portions and the service is rather quick. Would recommend
I recommend the beef rice noodle soup.
Love this place great pho!
Lovely food with good portions for price. Staff were very friendly.
Generous and tasty dishes.
We had a booking for outside and arrived on time to find all of the outside tables were dirty with food and hadn t been wiped when they were cleared. You have to go inside to order, but there is no indication of this on the outside tables. They should introduce QR codes for ordering. Vietnamese noodle salad was bland without chili and was served in a bowl with multiple chips in it (super dangerous for food poisoning). Outdoor seating needs some fans to reduce flies and staff should show more attention
A staple in our home. Quan Thanh always delivers great service with a smile
Never miss an opportunity to dine there when in Brisbane. Our favourite.
The basic rice noodles were delicious, but the mint that came with it? master? It was a shame that it wasnt fresh. The spicy rice noodles were greasy. Eat basic rice noodles. Hangover with rice noodles.
Very nice Chinese and Vietnamese meals, would highly recommend
Food is always delish and the staff are beautiful people, the eggplant hot pot is my favourite.
One of the best restaurants in Brisbane. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu but the crispy chicken noodle soup, egg plant hot pot and salt + pepper tofu, hit hard.
Great food and great service. We dined with friends and enjoyed the food and the service was friendly.
This used to be my favourite Vietnamese. They now only offer pho on weekends and have gotten rid of the rice paper rolls. A childhood favourite of mine is no more.
This used to be our go to Vietnamese, wed even drive across town to come here but unfortunately the menu has changed and not for the better... Only 2 options for vermicelli salad (chicken or beef) and only available weekends, they only do pho on weekends too and got rid of a number of noodle soup options such as chicken soup and clear noodle.
Pretty good. A mix of Southern, some Northern, essentially Straits Chinese Huuuuge portions
10 out of 10 and byo!
Food its good but has an after taste. MSG?
Our favourite local Vietnamese restaurant has changed hands and we were nervous about the changes that may have been made... But never fear the food is great and small updates like plates and cutlery only improve the experience. Staff are as friendly as ever. Still highly recommended as a local eating place. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available
Food was great, staff were accommodating.
If you are looking for authentic viet food, this is not the place. I am really sorry but I wont be returning. Food was not authentic and too salty for me. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Vegan. Vegetarian Parking: Street free parking Kid-friendliness: No Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs.
Expensive, food too bad, I dont like it.
I had my first experience here tonight and it definitely won t be the last!!! Ordered the beef coconut curry w roti, pho & viet noodle salad and each meal exceeded my expectations.. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the get go, the food came out fresh, hot and fast, and the atmosphere and environment was very clean and family friendly. I don t live locally but whenever I am in the area, I ll be sure to make a stop every time. Can t wait to be back here again!
The food here is too solid!! This is the place to be and go to when youre craving comfort food, a hearty meal or the kind of food that would instantly make you feel better. Couldnt think of anything that would have made my experience any better. Staff were kind, food was flawless and good vibes throughout the whole night. Will for sure be back again. 10/10
Had the laksa, was very nice but the soup wasn t very rich in flavour. Overall not too bad . $20
Beautiful food and great, friendly service. While the decor/set-up is basic, we had a large group which they placed in the back area which almost felt like our own little function room. NB. They may want to advertise that their byo is wine only and theyre licensed for all other beverages. Overall, great experience, and will definitely go back again.
Very reasonably priced authentic Pho .. grand servings and thoroughly enjoyable.
Great food, always fresh. Love the wonton soup. And there is real pork under the batter of the sweet and sour pork.
Absolutely amazing food. This is why they have such a high star rating from 800+ reviews... Bec someone in their kitchen knows what theyre doing! Freshly cooked, tasty and good portions. Highly recommend
Pho is amazing
Big servings and everything is fresh. Vegetarian options: Lots of fresh crisp veges, salad sprouts
Never disappoints. Have been coming here for years. Always get the seafood laksa. My favourite. Consistently good quality food and fast and friendly service.
We have been coming here for a few years now. Beautiful food, well priced and great service each and everytime.
Consistently amazing Vietnamese cuisine. Fantastic staff and their tri-colour drinks are a must-try. Always a delightful experience! Parking: free parking below, but its easy to find street parking
Wonderful experience
Ordered dinner around 6pm.for dine in, its been really long wait, food didnt come out til 6.40pm. Wasnt made known why food was late. My wife had to asked for the food twice before the main dish came out. they were just phos. definitely wouldnt take the hassle to come all the way for the phos and long wait, and food were really mediocre. Better choices out there in west end.
Food was great, good prices,
Brilliant, we love the food here!
Had dinner here last Wednesday Great food, great service!! We will definitely be back soon
Had dinner here tonight. Ordered after 6.30pm didnt get pho until 7.20pm. Ordered two pho and one bahn mi. We had to ask where the bahn mi was, no apologies they said they lost the receipt. So just under an hour for bahn mi to arrive. Didnt get bean sprouts or condiments for pho and when I questioned it (when we had almost finished our meal) they asked if I wanted them as a takeaway...service was terrible we felt an inconvenience. Wont be back here.
Food were a lot better than trangs. We have been served by two vietnamese staff today, one of them offered the best service she could while the other one was horrible and we could feel totally unwelcoming. Hopefully she was just having a bad day. #asianshelpasian
Just dropped in for takeaway banh mi and Vietnamese coffee for me and my wife. I have to say it was the most filling banh mi I ve ever had, and very tasty. The crispy pork was excellent. The coffees were very nice too. Lots of happy people in the busy restaurant too. Thanks for some nice food.
First time here. Their bun bo bue is flavorful, has plenty of meats and great balance of spice! Recommend to all will be back!
I got takeaway. Really expensive and the portions doesnt really justify the price. The doors and windows, including fridges, really need to be cleaned as theyre just absolutely filthy. Even the holder that holds the hand sanitiser looks like it hasnt been wiped to clean it for years, its black! Eww. 3 appetisers an one fried rice $60. Unfortunately disappointing in value.
A terrible dining experience. We ordered two dishes - pork belly with green beans was delicious and came out quickly. However, the second dish (marinated grilled chicken and rice) came out 20 minutes after the first dish. The rice was so hard that you could not break it up with a fork or spoon. We sent back to the kitchen for fresh rice. After returning with fresh rice we cut into the chicken - completely raw on the inside. Cold to the touch in the middle - likely a frozen thigh fillet that had been undercooked. We will never be dining here again and question the food safety standards of this restaurant. Avoid and go elsewhere.
Fast and friendly service. Loved the food - good sized portions and easily one of the best south east Asian cuisine in West End. Will be back for more!
I dined here on Thursday night and had an amazing experience. The staff were lovely, especially the manager, the portions were big and its definitely going to be one of my go to spots. I had the crispy pork banh mi and my partner had the roast duck noodle soup. The banh mi was delicious and the duck was fresh.
I cant express how much I love their Bun Bo Hue. Its the real deal. If youre a fan of this dish or want to try it for the first time, Quan Thanh is the place to go.
A beef noodle soup should never ever have carrots, zucchini, broccoli, bok choy and wombok. This is a disgrace and not authentic.
Fabulous authentic Vietnamese food, plus excellent Chinese and Malaysian. They use really fresh veges and the quality of their seafood is outstanding. Best Asian food in West End. Plus, the staff are very welcoming and helpful!! Highly recommended
Very fresh and authentic
Really great phô! Huge bowls of steaming goodness!
Ordered pork belly with chinese brocolli. Pork was tender. Vegetable was crunchy and cooked well. Not very salty and had plenty of garlic. Food : 4/5
A lovely little place Staff where kind enough to stay open a little later for us this evening which was truly appreciated as we arrive late The food was delicious, well priced and presented with friendly service Happy to recommend and return return
Food taste okay; takeaway waiting time is very very long, 8 dishes for longer than an hour. Price is above average - Banh Minh for $14.90, general dishes price $20 or more.
Delicious Vietnamese lunch with great friends from University of Queensland
Friendly service and generous portions of delicious food. A must when in West End.
Absolutely incredible meals!! We tried the special beef pho, the combination broken rice with a pork chop, the chicken with satay peanut sauce, and the Mongolian chicken sizzling hot plate, and I can honestly say they were all incredible! The broth for the pho was so flavourful, one of the best weve ever had; the hot plate was out of this world, definitely one to try! The satay chicken had so much flavour packed into it; and the combination broken rice with the pork chop was just as amazing as everything else! We desperately wanted to try the desert but the meals were so filling! I 100% recommend this place, whether you are a fan of Vietnamese food or not, this restaurant will definitely be a hit for everyone!! Im sorry I didnt get photos of everything, it was all gone so quickly!
Thanks for the excellent meal. Takeaway ready exactly on time, all dishes were cooked beautifully and super delicious. Will be back!
Have been going here for more years than I can remember. Food is excellent, price is great and staff are lovely.
Excellent food well worth the wait
Quality Vietnamese, Chinese and Malaysian food with great service and cheap prices. Everything on the menu is ace!
Quan Thanh never fails to disappoint. Its a Brisbane icon
Brilliant service from incredibly kind people - a family business that has been a pillar of the West End community for decades. The food is the best quality and is made with love and soul.
Best Pho in Brisbane. My husband loves it. I love their Laksa. We are long time customers. This year its not the same 1hr+ wait for take away and 40min+ wait for service if you eat in. Such a shame.
Great place to have lunch with friends
Restaurant needs a refurbishment. The Vietnamese dishes, especially the Soup Noodles are good.
Ordered, waited an hour, gave up, got money back, will never go back.
Friday night 8.40pm kitchen is closed despite website stating they close at 9.30pm....painful given we drove from north Brisbane to try this place out.
Turned us away at 8:40pm because kitchen was closed when they are open till 9:30pm. Open times should reflect kitchen times.
Worst food ever. Ordered dishes with a specific request for NO ONION, request was blatantly ignored. Honey chicken was soggy, wet and did not taste fresh at all. Had one bite and could not stomach any more. Sweet and sour pork riddled with onion when asked for none. Fried rice was terrible. Do yourself a favour and stay clear of this restaurant .
Generous portions
The best Vietnamese food we have ever had. Everything was fresh and cooked well. Lots of flavour and large variety. Definitely coming back
Was ok it could be better but it was nice
Excellent as usual. Been coming here for many years and never disappointed.
We went for lunch today and very disappointed. We have been going here more than 10 years and i dont think i will go back again anumy. Price went up which i can understand but when we ordered beef soup fresh bean sprouts, herbs, chilli or hoisin sauce didnt come together. I had to ask for it. soup was salty and can see missing lots of spring onion , coriander even red onions. When restaurant change the price and then taste is not the same as before this is not great experience.
Food is absolutely amazing. I have tried a few different dishes and I have never been disappointed. Supre affordable too
Nice well portioned food
Foods alway fantastic but sometime base soup is so salty ..
Authentic Vietnamese restaurant at West End for a long time
A little gem in West End! BYO too! Their spring rolls, hokkien noodles and green beans were all delicious!
Lovely food and amazing service. Regular customer.
We ordered the Salty Fish Chicken fried rice, Crispy Fried Chicken meal, Szechuan Style beef and the Eggplant and Pork mince hot pot last night and they were all soooo good! Everything tasted authentic and all the flavours and spice levels were perfect (nothing bland or overly spicy) plus the servings were HUGE. Nice and simple place to dine in despite us coming during a busy hour. Staff members were very accomodating and friendly too. Definitely going to be regular here!
No matter who the owner is, the employees are very rude and unfriendly, and the food is so-so. I wont go there again.
Good pho
If youre after Vietnamese its only available on Saturdays and Sundays now.
Great food, decent prices, wish they still did table service though.
My favourite restaurant in Brisbane. Great food, and the owner is one of the most down to earth people I know!
Best food in Brisbane and very high-quality service!
This was always my go to. Something has changed. Only ordering at the counter and the food doesn t taste as good.
The best Laksa on the planet
Advertised as Vietnamese food but no. Its Chinese. Nothing wrong with it but was expecting Vietnamese pho.
No Pho over the weekdays
Unfortunately the restaurant has changed significantly. Its advertised as Vietnamese and Chinese but there wasnt even Vietnamese available during the week, just pho on weekends. The Chinese we ordered was okay.
Service was fast, food was delicious. Massive portions. Vegetarian options: Several vege options in entre and mains Food : 5/5 |
Food quality has been down since the chief retired. Their egg noodles quality is terrible, but the soup remains good. Service was average
Used to come here lots and absolutely loved it. But the menu has shrunk and it seemed like it was missing the mouth watering flavour I remember. Was still nice but felt like it was missing something.
Went in for dinner on a Sunday. Seafood noodle portions were wanting and the food was quite salty. Service was slow and the pho was just okay. Not deserving of the five star rating it currently has on google.
Had the combination crispy chow mein and some fried wantons. I would definitely go back for the noodles but not so much for the fried wantons, friendly staff and classic Vietnamese restaurant vibes.
The food is really good. I had the Vietnamese style noodle/soup. It was delicious.
I really dont like having to say this but i really hope they improve and that this is constructive. Had the chicken pho as beef was unavailable. Wasnt a great pho, desperately lacking flavour. For the almost 20 dollar price tag not really worth it. Considering you can get a brilliant ramen with free range eggs and pork with free sides at taros for less I dont see value in this meal or enjoy it enough to even finish it. Parking: Difficult to find a park although there are a few spots underneath the resturant.
Good generous portions, hue style noodle needs a little more flavoring.
Please bring back the vermicelli salads
My friends and I have been going here for years. It may not be the best Vietnamese food in Brisbane and the staff might be a little less than helpful....but its still a very comfortable venue to share food with friends- at a very fair price. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
Love the food
Very bad service, ordes were wrong, and I ordered hot pot fish and it was discusting when I asked the waiter he said it was basa fish which was a lie. I wouldnt recommend to anyone
Quan thanh has good food for okay prices in the city however the customer service lacks A LOT. Staff don t really seem to care about any sort of service. Very basic restaurant.
Horrible staff. Not professional what so ever. Young staff have no idea what they are doing. Got the wrong meal undercooked and waiting 40 minutes so I asked to speak to the manager and they wouldnt let me. Finally spoke to the manager and he was the rudest I had spoken to. NO ONE GO TO THIS RESTURANT.
Had a delicious chicken laksa with extra vegetables. Prices were a little higher here but quality was on par with other laksas I have had in the area.
Long time customer and Im sad to say Ill be looking for another Vietnamese restaurant. Quan Thanh has fallen to the COVID effect. Over the past year portions have reduced in size, however this wasnt a real issue. I understand business are struggling and over heads need to be reigned in. What has killed it for me is when the flavours deteriorates. Laksa was just Brown and Water
I dont like having to change my reviews. Once it was 5 stars and loved the food for years, but unfortunately the last couple of times the food has been sadly lacking the flavours of the past. The size of the dishes are now at least 20% smaller than mid last year. Unfortunately, Im now on the search for my new Vietnamese restaurant to go to. Would love to know if the management has changed for the sudden downturn.
Authentic and great food! Enjoyed it with my friend who is vegan, a few options to choose from who was great
The best!
Uuuum, big yuuuum!
Had been going there for years however the last couple of times the food and service has noticeably gone down hill. Went there the other day and the food was not great - definitely no where as good as it use to be and left feeling a bit sick in the stomach. I m sorry to say that that will be the last time I spend money there and will be looking for a new vietnamese restaurant...
First time customer, and I loved it. Generous portions, crispy beef was actually crispy, honey chicken had plenty of honey, and everything was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back!
Very special great food and excellent service.
Great food, fast service, friendly staff and reasonable price. One of my favourite restaurant in Brisbane.
Best Viet in West End. Have been going for over 15 years. Its a home away from home.
Good as ever.
So good!!
Good food, quick service. Reasonably priced. Would recommend
They know how to cook a chicken. Beef & pork were also stunning.
Excellent Vietnamese food. It s always good every time I go! The vermicelli salads and the crispy skin chicken are incredible. Some of my favourite in Brisbane :)
You know its not great when there is bicarb to tenderize the meat. Had salt pepper fish, hot pot eggplants with pork and a beef laksa. It s ok in overall but it s lacking the detail to make it good as the actual hotpot for the eggplant dish and not a plastic bowl (the reason it should be in a hotpot is this dish should be kept very hot), the beef laksa was lacking (forgot to put the shrimp paste? It tasted like curry soup) and the fish was not great but not their fault it s the way it s done around here. Can t blame them too much, they cater to the local taste
Ive eaten here several times over the years and the food has been consistently bad.
Love the food (big portion) and efficiency.
The good news is the food is very good. We had a range of dishes and all were excellent. The service is a bit ratty. You have to queue at the counter to order and that can be a slow process and you have to pay up-front. If you want more food or drink, you have to repeat the process and the night we went, that took 20 minutes .. Also please don t bring the rice out first and let it sit for 5 minutes until the mains arrive. Nothing worse than cold fried rice - we ended up eating ours on its own (Nice rice, but better when mixed with a main). Would go back, but at an off peak time.
Delicious dishes. I especially love their spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue). Polite staff. Tried many Vietnamese places around West End and I sincerely feel this place has survived the test of time.
Really tasty chinese/ vietnamese food. The service was quick and the price was average. I recommend the rare beef noodle soup. It was definitely my favourite!
A humble restaurant decorated with beautiful brightly painted scenes of the Vietnamese countryside and beaches. A buzzy atmosphere of happy chatty customers and bubbly waiters. The food exquisite and very well-priced. Had (the crowds and now mine) Beef brisket soup. It had great depth of flavour with hints of ginger and star anise but the real star was the beef. It was incredibly tender and flavoursome. Not to be missed. Must say Ive had better fried ice-creams; this one was too hard to put a spoon through and the outer coating though tasty was not well-cooked. The fried banana however was exquisite! Thin, crispy and tasty batter. Delicious. Overall, loved the place and will come back to taste more dishes. Awesome. Recommend it :)
I went here because it was recommended to me by people around me. 6 generations? There is also a separate parking space for parking. The price is reasonable considering the West End location. The price is reasonable, but the owner is very kind. The owner is kind, but the hall staff cant keep up. It was dinner time on a weekday, and the female employee was throwing the menu on the table and banging the chair... The male employee pretended not to hear even when we called... LOL Not only us, but other tables around us were looking up to order or ask for something, but they deliberately looked at the floor and made eye contact. When you hit it, you turn your head... hehe, the table next to you said the same thing, probably feeling the same way. It feels like only the owner is working hard. Maybe because there are a lot of customers, it took 40 minutes for the rice noodles to arrive. The rice noodles are just rice noodles, but I recommend Buncha. It has a lot of meat, plenty of vegetables, and is delicious. Next time, Ill have to go when I have some free time~
Great food and BYO
Great Vietnamese food. We had a lovely Sunday meal there.
I just love this restaurant... Everything I have ordered has been amazing and generous... The staff is just so friendly ... I will continue to come back , bring friends to share the Quan Thanh experience and recommend it to anyone looking for a great Asian restaurant ... This is the combination Chow Mein with extra noodles ... So great , excellent price , I got two meals out of it ...
Delicious food! Look forward to the next visit.
I ordered seafood raksa noodles It was really tasty Coconuts based soup, slightly curry flavored also there were some big prawns some pieces of white fishes, fish balls and squids. Yummy!!
Good food and the price is cheap, i recommend it!
Best vietnamese restaurant
It was good and authentic!!!
Long wait ever.
Very good service, clean, and tasty food.. The only thing I didn t like is the indoor area, otherwise it s a very good Vietnamese food..
Great authentic meals and good service
Excellent food always
Came here with a group of friends for a birthday dinner. The Banquet was $35/head including corkage (excluding beer). The food was good and a nice variety of dishes. Definitely a good option for well priced, good quality meal with a group.
Very bad service Spring rolls full of oil, gave Laksa when we paid for Claypot..and no apologies ..never go there again ..please don t waste your money.
Great food and atmosphere
Good food. But customer service was
Regular.
Delicious food, friendly staff, efficient table service.
Cant fault this place, every single time I get takeaway from here theyre usually pretty fast, the food is hot and its bloody delicious. 100% recommend if you want a quality nights dinner, just expect to pay a little extra $$
Great restaurant in Westend serving amazing fresh Vietnamese food. Service was a little slow but considering how busy they are I was still very happy with the food quality. Restaurant is very popular so bookings are recommended.
Seriously delicious food in great portions. Staff were wonderful. Nice atmosphere
This place has been a stable experience in Brisbane for most of my life. I think I started eating at it at about 14 or so. 20 years plus later and its still a gem in a world of food. Really if you havent check it out and tell them Idris said to try it out. Big love to the older staff as they just make it like home.
Just average food, long wait, not very friendly staff.
Meal nearly cold by the time rice arrived had to send back to reheat
We live in West End, so this is one of our most visited restaurants. Food is great, their noodle soup is perfect if youre ever feeling under the weather or need a quick dish that wont upset your stomach. Portions for the price are also really good and quality is very consistent. Once you find a dish you like, you can usually know itll always be good if you order it again.
