Extremely grumpy people who should not work in the service industry. Treated me like a goblin when I asked for a coffee, god forbid you ask for soy milk ( I even said please and thank you) 0/5 do not recommend.

As a newcomer to Kelowna from the UK, I visited this Cafe because it looked lovely from the outside . I had my dog with me so I planned to sit outside on the table provided. It took me ages to get her attention, other customers were alerting her to me waving at the door. When she eventually came to the door she had a face like a bad ham as we say in England. She was snappy, downright rude and extremely unhelpful. I asked her if I could see a menu as I couldnt go in with my dog and she pointed to the menu on the wall near the counter. I ended up just ordering a coffee with cream and sugar. As she was walking away I asked her if she was alright and if something was wrong as I was totally perplexed at her behavior and responses. She snapped back at me I dont know, you tell me and walked off. I eventually got my coffee slapped down in front of me and had to ask her for cream. No answer but she came out again and slapped a cream down on the table. (I DIDNT DARE ASK FOR ANOTHER) I have never, ever experienced this type of behavior before and I left her my review that I wrote on a napkin and left my payment on it (no Tip) That was in Aug 21 and I have never set foot in their since. I often walk by there with my dog and am still bemused at her behavior. She does not seem to be like this with regulars. Im wondering of she is on the autistic spectrum now. Who knows

Best sticky cinnamon buns in town. If you go early, they will be warm and fresh out of the oven. They inspired me to try making my own, but my kids quickly told me I have a long way to go before they are anywhere close to as good as Donnas!

We have had breakfast there twice and it was delicious both times. They even had some toys and books for the little one . Friendly staff Kid-friendliness: Toys and books to keep the children occupied if needed

Very slow as only had 1 cook on. Food wasnt very hot at all. Definitely not the friendliness clay. We have a pub & liquor store and we smile and talk to customers as they are the ones supporting your business. Looks like family run business as they didnt even care to come and ask us how are meal was. Told my family that lives there dont waste your time or money there. the server was only happy with her regulars but couldnt care less for the rest. Served us unsanitary jams that they scooped out of a jar! Wow!? Then you pay upfront and a tip for what!? Bad service...Thanks for not making my daughters birthday breakfast a great experience. Very sad

6/5 stars hands down. I went even as they were closing up shop, and my service was the kindest service I have received anywhere in a very long time. My sandwich was so fresh and delicious, and prices are great. Thank you so much!

Waited for person ahead of me which was ok. The person working then totally ignored me while standing at counter. She looked into the kitchen and started filling empty condomint bottles. Not once did she acknowledge that I was waiting for service. After more than 10 min. I left as felt totally ignored. All that could have been avoided by being told to give her a few minutes to finish.

The food was incredible! I got the regular breakfast sandwich and it s the best I ve had in awhile. My mom got the small breakfast plate; the egg was perfect and the fruit was fresh and really good. We had a nice time sitting outside with our dog and watching everyone come in and out of the library. We ll definitely come back when we re in Kelowna again.

The food was actually done great. Nice, basic breakfast with excellent flavour. Service was good. It did seem though, they were surprised with 4 of us coming in to get breakfast at the same time and took a while to complete our orders. Felt like we waited forever. Also, no tap, bring your card or cash..

Ordered a gourmet salad, it had lettuce and tomato with some chicken droplets. Not sure how or why this is $15. Add to that unfriendly service

The soups and sandwiches are homemade fresh daily and to order. The breakfast sandwich is perfect! The staff is friendly and the price is right. Call ahead and theyll have it ready when you get there. Enjoy!

Donnas bacon/tomato sandwiches are my fave! I do often go here for her great homemade soups, fruit cups or a breakfast. Her food is top notch And reasonably priced. One the few restaurants that have not increased prices much. This is my go to cafe for a healthy reasonably priced lunch! I highly recommend her cafe She works hard and I feel like she appreciates my business, so money is well spent here on food

Amazing food! A well run business that gives its all when it comes to customer service! Running a restaurant is really not easy right now but Donna & Bernadette give it their all with all their hearts!

Not sure why this restaurant was given so many stars. It s as basic of food as you can order. I felt as though there should be some substance to a sandwich or breakfast these days. Food was subpar- and had very little nutritional value. Would love to see some greens or sprouts, anything really besides empty carbs. Place has lots of potential, needs more color in the food and the space.

Cute local cafe, I believe its run by a mother-daughter team. Homemade everything, great prices. I got 2 eggs, toast, fruit cup, coffee, and a cinnamon bun to go for less than $12. Everything tasted amazing, especially the coffee - just wow! To those giving this smaller local place 1 star during the tough covid shut down months, shame on you. If you want fast and furious service for a cheaper price, theres plenty of fast food restaurants around to cater to you.

Food was gross.... bacon was over cooked, sour dough bread was under risin and over cooked and their hashbrowns were undercooked....

NASTY CUSTOMER SERVICE as noted by other reviewers. Been here twice and the lady was downright obnoxious both times. Never returning. If you can t treat your customers with any respect you shouldn t be in business. No food is worth being treated with such disdain.

Enjoyed their fresh coffee and sticky bun and a cinnamon bun. Even though it wS close to closing time the items were fresh and delicious. Will definitely be going back again. Going to try the lemon merginue pie next time

We love to support family businesses. Lots of reviews said they are welcoming.. unfortunately we did not feel welcomed. She was pretty bland to us. Even as new customers. I even told them we googled them so they shouldve known Google was going to ask me to review them? Her tone was completely nice and welcoming with the customer behind us? Maybe a regular? Very unfortunate as we were excited to try a new place. Nice and clean overall but will not be coming back because of customer service.

We had a delicious breakfast and great service. Everything was tidy and clean. The dishes had good proportions with an awesome price. The food seem homemade, very tasty. I highly recommend this place!

I showed up at this small restaurant with my husband and 3 children. They waited outside while I stood in line to order. The woman behind the counter took quite awhile making sandwiches and when it was my turn to order no smile, no greeting whatsoever. I asked if we can move tables together to seat our family and she said no you can t. I then said well that s okay there is 3 tables and 5 chairs and that should seat us and she says no that one table isn t a table. (It clearly was a table and looked exactly like the other tables and were all socially distanced apart) And I said well we can use the chair right? And she says I d rather not . No emotion and no hospitality at all. I would rather spend my money somewhere else where we are welcomed. Upsetting experience as she seen I had my children with me.

AWESOME food. Had bowl of homemade ham and green pea soup along with roast beef and cheese sandwich. Very old school just like Gramma used to make. Service was very friendly and made one feel at home. We definitely need more of this honestly cooking and welcoming atmosphere.

Ordered a large hot chocolate, which was only $2.50 - same price as coffee. The hot chocolate was not too sweet, just steamed milk and cocoa, and had some kick from spices. For such superior quality, this is the cheapest hot chocolate I ever had at a cafe.

Only thing warm was eggs. Toast tasted old. Bacon was old. Half of my potatoes were not cooked fully. Would not reccommend.

The roast beef sandwich is the best Ive ever had. The bread was excellent.

No pretensions. Simple food. The cinnamon rolls are made in-house and look amazing, and everything else is made in-house too. The rye bread I had with eggs over easy was old-school and great. I don t think the eggs are free range, though, but the bacon was also terrific. Breakfast (2 eggs/toast/3 bacon) was $12 after taxes with a coffee. No fancy breakfasts, but if you just want eggs, they got you covered.

Stopped here on our way through westbank. Nice little spot - fresh food, gluten free options (not sure if they make their own gluten free bread but it was delicious), really lovely service too!

We stopped by this coffee shop on our way out of Kelowna and glad to make the stop. They have by far one of the best coffee I have tasted and delicious breakfast sandwiches. I believe its a family owned business, The service was wonderful with reasonable prices and a great atmosphere.

The food here is AMAZING! They even make their own bread! Just good home cooking! Get the cinnombun!

Great spot for a full meal or a quick bite and a coffee! Convenient spot just off the main drag through West Kelowna - worth stopping before making the long trip to Merritt or Penticton.

Good selection of coffees. Basically when I ve asked darkest one which its supposed to be the strongest one right! But its not its even weak and the medium one is a nightmare. Here at Donnas cafe I was surprised to drink a good one.
