The restaurant itself is bright and welcoming. Lot of tables and chair and may can accomodate up to 80 pax (not sure, just an obs). The buffet looks small compare to other buffet setup but everything am looking for a chinese food are there and i really love the maki rolls. They are juicy and fresh. Most of the dishes are delicously worth it! Check for your self Location: Beside Super 8 hotel, Bus stop, beside Massage clinic Atmosphere: Looks clean and kitchen staff are very much engaging with the food taken outside in the buffet to eliminate too much waste.

Ok buffet. Expensive for the quality of food.

This place has changed names and owners a lot. There s a fresh coat of paint and it looks clean but the food was mediocre buffet food, bland and salty. I did not taste msg but the overly salted food will have you reaching for water over and over. After 2 plates I left feeling nauseous, it did not sit well with me. Overall buffets in the Okanagan are all the same, if you are looking for low quality salty sugar meats then you ll like it here. You ll leave full and needing a nap. That s what a lot of people like in a buffet

The buffet was excellent, really clean, desserts laid out separate from the food, fruit and sushi etc laid out separately, everything we tried was very flavorful we will definitely be back West Kelowna needed a buffet like this.

Horrible combo Fraw veggies no bock choy but zucchini when asked to redo they came floating in grease rather than using a broth or even waterchow main just a bunch of dry noodles 45 waisted dollars never go back there again had to order from menue because buffet wasnt available yet

This is the best Chinese smorgasbord in the area! There is a great selection, Hot food & fantastic service! Everything is top not, delicious!! I highly recommend eating here & Iam very picky.

They charged me extra for the sweet and sour sauce, for the sweet and sour chicken.

Excellent flavours on the buffet. I was sorry to see the Royal Wok close but their successor, the Jade Buffet is better. Not as large a selection as the Asian Pear but it is less money and the flavours are better. Most calamari on buffets are overcooked but not here - delicate, melt in mouth. The Ginger Beef, always one of my favourite dishes to try, has wonderful, subtle flavours, one of the best I have tried. Jade Buffet is worth the stop. They have a tak out menu as well.

Hands down has to be one of the best Chinese food I have had. After trying practically all of the restaurants in the Westside as well as Kelowna, the Royal Wok has the most authentic dishes. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. We had great conversations and shared laughs while we picked up our order and overall had an excellent evening. 10/10 would definitely eat here again!!

Stayed in motel super 8. Got charged delivery to diliver 100yards. Other than that good food good wok

Then we orderd a combo meal where they charge you for chow main if you dont want rise !! Never have had that at any other Chinese food place !! Will never eat here again !! Not even if it was free !! $35.12 for 2 lunches no drinks!! Dont eat here ;(

Always great food. I get take out and notice the dining room is always empty so I cant really comment on the atmosphere.

Nope. Ginger beef without ginger and spiced with black pepper instead of chilis. Chicken ball meat was an odd texture maybe marinated or precooked or something, ended up dry and flaky. Fat Shanghai noodles were over cooked. Vegetable chow mein was 90% broccoli. Did end up with free crab cheese fried wontons which were delicious, haven t seen that before. Overall hard pass, kinda bland and boring. A large portion doesn t make up for mediocre food.

Used to go there quite often but lately something changed and it isn t as tasty as it used to be. Last time I got food from there I ve got problems with my stomach for a week! Maybe old oil? I don t know but don t want to try again

We just ordered the group of 4 share dinners! The owner was super friendly and very professional the environment is very welcoming and relaxing. The food was hands down the best in town for Mandarin style food. The portions are huge and absolutely delicious The owner even brought our take out to our car for us! Definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back again soon! 5 out of 5 stars!

Best Chinese food, Quality and Delicious

We are staying at the super 8 because it it close to the Canadian enduro race at Smith Creek in Kelowna. We have been here for 2 days and went for take out here both nights. We have had Chinese food basically everywhere we travel. Its a family favorite. This is by thar the best we have ever had and we have ordered all over North America and beyond. The portions are huge, but would pay even if the portions were 1/2 the size because of quality and taste. Extremely fresh vegetables and meat. Made to order fresh. The people who work at this restaurant are extremely nice and welcoming. Would definitely say a must have if your in the area. Cheers, enjoy.

Best chow mein ever.

I got the C combination dinner that Ive gotten several times before. Tonight it was terrible, really terrible. The ginger beef they are so proud of was a clump of dry ginger beef, very little sauce to moisten it , very chewy. Chicken balls were also a clump together, dry dry dry and no sauce with it, terrible. The fried rice was ok, your doing pretty bad when you cant make chicken fried rice. Portions were smaller then they use to be to. Theyve lost what had been a loyal customer. I dont know whats happened but the food is terrible. Mall Chinese food is better then this.

Ordered on the internet and went to the Restraunt to pick up. The food was terrible, not fresh, old soggy, and over done. Kelowna is famous for having bad Chinese Food, in my 24 years here this is the worst. Stay Away!

We ordered the dinner for 6 special for 6 adults and 4 kids. The employee was very nice/efficient when I went to go pick it up, the food was delicious, and we had enough food left over that all 6 of us had it for lunch the next day too. We have found it very difficult to find good westernized Chinese food in Kelowna since moving here from Alberta. Royal wok is the best Chinese food we have found in kelowna so far. Food was flavorful and large quantity of each dish make it well worth the money.

I have dined at all the West Kelowna Chinese food restaurants and this is by far the freshest and the best. They also provide generous portions. I am hooked.

Hands down the best Wonton soup I ve had. This is one of my favourite dishes by far and try it everywhere. Royal Wok has it dialed in. No need for soy sauce to be added to this soup; most flavour by far. Perfect amount of veggies!

Waited three hours for our delivery and just sent it back by the time it arrived because it was old and cold. Very disappointing.

Ordered for 6 for New Years Day dinner. 3rd time ordering, this time was as amazing as the first!! Huge portions, lots of shrimp and meat, fresh veggies, great noodles, everything tasty, fresh and hot!! Absolutely our favourite restaurant of any type. Well be back!!!

We were told half hour for our food. It was an hour and a half and they got the order wrong for the second time in a row. It was cold as well. We won t be eating here again. Terrible. I called and talked with the Manager and he expressed his regret and had a desire to make things right. He offered us a discount at our next order. Therefore I am changing my evaluation from one to a four. I appreciate the response from management. They appear to really care about their customers.

Food was amazing, very tasty. We ordered sweet & sour pork with pineapple, chicken chow mein, lemon chicken and beef veggies with almonds. They gave us 8 mini veg spring rolls for free. My only complain is the lemon chicken should have less batter on it, other than that we were very happy with the food. Portions are big, well definitely have enough for leftovers for dinner the next night. We will be ordering from here again ..thank you

This place is quite busy, but still pretty quick service. Great portions, nice selection and not bad at all, food was a bit blend and missed salt or some more seasoning. And we didnt enjoy spring rolls (tasted super oily and not much flavor, even plum sauce didnt save it). But all other dishes were fine, just not best... we will come back and try again and see if its different when they have no rush hours. Very nice server

We got a dinner for 4, and we got a beef chop Sui which was bad because the meat was bad. The chow mein was smothered in soy sauce to change the texture of the noodles and elevated the the flavor to so which we would think the noodles where freshly cooked or fresh. The only good meals were the chicken balls, rice, and sweat and sour pork.

Last two times I ve ordered here I ve asked for no sweet and sour sauce because I don t like it. Both times I ve gotten home and it s smothered with s&s sauce. The last time the chow mein was so dark with soy sauce I couldn t eat it because it was so salty. I almost wrote a review but thought they we re really busy so I let it go. So tonight I decided to order a combo dinner that didn t have a s&s sauce so there d be no mistake. And I told the girl about the chow mein was too salty and almost black with soy and she said it was probably because they were so busy and it was a mistake. I also ordered just before 8:00 so the supper rush would be over. The meal I got tonight was black chow mein too salty to eat and deep fried prawns smothered in s&s sauce!!!! The menu had NO MENTION of sauce on the prawns and I specifically said I didn t want chow mein that had too much soy!! I m so disappointed because I don t have much money so ordering out is a real treat. They used to be so good! Such a shame!! Three times in a row though???

It s hard to find good Chinese in the Kelowna/West Kelowna area. Royal Wok offers generous portions at reasonable prices. Coming from Kelowna, Royal Wok is just across the bridge making it convenient for pick up. Definitely my go to!

Fantastic Chinese restaurant! When I moved to the Kelowna area I struggled to find any decent Chinese restaurant, most of them had poor quality or sickeningly sweet food. But Royal Wok is amazing. All of their food is great quality, you can just taste the difference. Their sweet and sour pork is made with real pineapple juice and is delicious. Their chow mein and Shanghai noodles are also some of the best I ve ever tasted. Owner and stuff are friendly and care about the food they put out. If you want to try something really unique and incredibly delicious, order their Crab Meat Cheese Wonton as an appetizer, it is just amazing! The only thing I think could be better is if they sold a Curry Fried Rice, one of my favorite dishes (which a lot of other Chinese restaurants have.) I love Royal Wok but it s unfortunate they don t sell this dish - please add a Curry Fried Rice to the menu!

Ordered pickup ..giving a 3 is a stretch. The food tasted like it had been sitting on the stove all day dry and over cooked, even had some burnt taste.

We thought the food was excellent the first time we ordered at the beginning of the year but sadly the last few times weve ordered the food has been mediocre. We were also quoted 30 minutes for pick up and when we arrived we had to wait an additional 30 minutes.

We must have gone to this restaurant on a very bad night. We were staying next door at the Super 8. Food was not good at all. Ginger beef was very tough and impossible to chew. The deep fried shrimp had so much batter we couldnt taste the shrimp. The chow mein was more like instant noodles.

My wife and I tried Royal Wok for the first time tonight. Described in one word DELICIOUS. We have ordered Chinese Food at least once a month and felt like some tonight. Most of them are closed Monday so I found this one and it was open. Glad we decided to try them out. The portions were excellent and left us with another meal. The person who I met when I picked up my food was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again!!

I have been in the super 8 for a week now because of mechanical issues on my truck. I have ordered takeout every day with choosing different items. I am very impressed, the food was very good and they are not skimpy on their portions. I am impressed

I had never tried the Royal Wok before. I decided to do an online order. It was easy with a large menu to choose from. I finished my order and within 2 minutes I received a phone call to confirm my order. My order was at my door 45 minutes later.....I was impressed. All the food I ordered was of excellent quality. There was a large amount and a choice of a FREE entree. I would highly recommend this restaurants service and food. Everything was perfect including the two people I dealt with.

The Royal Wok is a fantastic restaurant! We haven t had Chinese food this good in a long time. We ordered wor wonton soup, beef with black bean sauce and BBQ pork chop suey. And we got a free large won ton soup as a bonus. We decided to do pick up and it was hot with nice portion sizes. We have leftovers for lunch now. Go and order from here!!!

Our new favourite place to go. We have tried several Chinese food restaurants in West Kelowna and this place beats them all. Have only done takeout to date. So friendly on the phone and with pick up. Fresh and hot when picking up. Servings are very generous. Highly recommend.
