A&W is a great fast food restaurant and when it comes to fast food places it is one of the best! I enjoy going there very much.The visit when I got to go a couple weeks ago was very good. My food was made the way I wanted it to be made and the service was quick and courteous.All in all, an excellent fast food place to visit.

I only come here occasionally, and despite my infrequent visits, theres one staff member, Tammy, who knows me, and probably most other customers by name! She is always kind, quick, and professional! Total rockstar. Keep it up Tammy! :)

Our trip this time was a bit dissapointing , I ordered a mama burger and a hot chicken crispy sandwich and two fries to go. The chicken itself was very good but the bun was bone dry. The Mama burger was as close to perfect as you can get. Unfortunately my chicken bun was awful as you had to chew and chew before swallowing. Ernie Verkade Westbank

I personally has never had an issue with my food or service at A&W, but Im sure others have had issues before. What stood out to me was the professional and courteous nature of the employees when they were attempting to fix an issue. I was especially impressed when one of the Leads was able to fix an issue. His name was Mark and he showed exceptional customer service and managerial skills when addressing concerns. That kind of leadership is an asset for this place of business.

Incompetent. Same burger ordered the same way for over 2 yrs . Even written out still ended up wrong w tomatoes im highly allergic to Manager is a rude , confrontational human Never going back as staff is poorly trained

We went from drive thru I mentioned i need beyond meat with spicy habanero sauce instead of mustard and ketchup don t know how hard it is for them to understand they messed my burger and almost took 10 minutes on window just for waiting my order . A&w never works like that , hope they need proper training for drive thru.

Lovely clean spot, food was great! The kid that took my order was polite and respectful. I wish I could have said the same about his older female coworker. She did nothing except complain about working with kids loudly, to nobody in particular. She even attempted (unsucessfuly thank god) to berate him in front of the patrons for something that was clearly inconsequential. Dont listen to that old bag, kid.

I want to give a shoutout to the staff working today at 330 ish PM. The lady and the gentleman were very kind, attentive, and fun. Food came out looking fresh and great.

Drive thru slow and have to park everytime. Cold food and not even any good.

Lady who was working the front counter was very impolite and tossed a number card at me.

Can you please educate your staff on what vegan means and what products do and do not contain dairy? Ive come multiple times now and theres always confusion about this. Today I received only the patty on the bun with mustard, but none of the veggies. I am frustrated that I have to continuously explain what items constitute as dairy free to your staff.

A great dining room, very clean and well kept. Service is pretty fast most days, especially around 3-5pm. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Poor Management, Stay Clear if you can Waited 15 minutes (maybe longer) for a buddy burger and the store is empty and only 1 car ahead of me in the drive-thru, there s no excuse that they can t hire new employees. I have been living in Kelowna for a year now and they still have the staff shortage sign, it doesn t take this long to hire people especially during the pandemic where people are losing jobs left right and centre.

This particular A&W location is one of my favorites, it is very centrally located with a clean, bright lobby, and the food is always very fresh tasting and delicious.

I have stopped in here a few times. Did mostly drive thru service. Do enjoy the lettuce wrap burgers. Being gluten intolerant it makes for a very satisfying burger that is still filling. Staff has always been friendly and burgers have been good. What you kinda expect from a A&W. They do have a nice parking area with a view of the lake. So nice to just enjoy your burger and take in the view. Prices are typical for fast-food restaurant.

Fries werent salted but onion rings were, wayyy too much. Onion rings were onions with bread at bottom of bag.. my young daughter didnt like any of it. And she likes A&W. But not that one.. very pathetic!

I really loke a &w but they never ever mark what food it is uiyr getting getting the cheddar bacon is just about the same as a mozzarella burger.

Ordered the best burger ever burger and they forgot to put on the garlic aioli / onions! There was nothing on the bottom bun under the burger patty. I don t understand why it s so hard to do your job especially when there is practically no one there and you take over 10mins to make just a burger????

Its not an easy place to get out of. The parking lot empties onto a busy road. The drive-thru lineup blocks parkkng stalls and cars. It was just after 12pm and they didnt have onion rings prepped. Settled for a poutine. Food was good, but disappointed that we couldnt get the one item we wanted.

Burgers were absolute mess and chicken fingers looked like they had been in the deep fryer for way too long, very dry and dark brown.

Went this evening, around 6:30pm. Ordered 3 whistle dogs - no relish on all & 1 (3)piece chicken strip. Order: wait time, approx 10 minutes. Food - chicken strips, no issues 1 whistle dog has relish 1 whistle dog the bun literally has a bite taken out of it All hot dogs undercooked. I will say, the young man working the drive through was very pleasant. However once we got home with our food I was overall extremely unimpressed. Yes I understand it s a Friday evening. Dinner rush, 5 cars parked & waiting for food. However that should not effect the quality of food. Overall, disappointed in the quality of food.

So I am done with a and w... This location has a habit of being wayyyyy slow... Nearly 12 minutes for 4 sausage / bacon and eggers... This was a review from a year ago. I came back today to adjust this as I visited one more time in 12 months. Proud to say they have not changed. Perhaps even slower. Not sure how a company based on good food and speed can be so slow. Yeah Im done.. There is another a and w a few minutes east... Go there. Its way better

Fresh and tasty! Even better than a few months ago. Parking: Challenging to get into parking, but better since the roundabout was installed. From hwy 97, turn right into parking and drive thru. From Carrington or Gelatly, use roundabout to go into cul-de-sac, then turn into parking lot (careful, thats where drive thru traffic comes out, and its not wide).

Lettuce was slimy, bacon was cold. Disgusting experience.

Waited ten minutes with burgers on the rack while they tried to figure out how to make an onion ring. Everything was cold, including the coffee (which was barely stronger than water). A previous reviewer was right -- go to McDonalds! Better food and better service!

Bought a couple of meals from the drive thru after a hectic day at work. Great burgers and fries! Was looking forward to our root beers. One was 2/3 full and the other was 3/4 full.

The renovation lolks great. Nice to have them back open. Always fast and best beef ha ds down. Teen burgers for life!

Was good ...but no dine in!

So I did a 50 meals challenge eating 50 meals from this a&w and the one in peachland. This location received a score of 2-10 where as the one in peachland received a 9.5-10. This location double cooks there French fries leaving them over cooked with a burnt taste. The staff at this location also lie and tell you the food is fresh when it s not. So if your looking for the best quality food and have time I suggest making the trip to peachland.

You would think during the pandemic food and service would be better its not its worse, waited for ever for service, they miss placed my order, food & frys were greasy.

This location is regularly closed early, either short staff or staff just closes the doors early.

Everytime the family and I go to this location, the staff have been rude, and the orders are wrong or cold. We had a wrong order brought to us, and instead of it being remade, they gave it to another car. Totally not gravy.

The large order was small. The fries were cold. We went back and the young lady claim the fries we got and there no different sizes. Well interestingly in the Fraser Valley the portions are bigger. Poor service at this site.

I eat from here every Sunday at 10:50am for months now. Ordered a plate breakfast like usual. Today they said we cant do it. I asked why. Answer was because we cant. See you later. Ill find a new place thanks anyway.

Food was good so props to the kitchen staff. Thats where the good part ends. Went to drive-through and ordered a burger combo. Got part way home and realised the receipt was for a different order. I brought it back to get the right one. The girl at the counter said how can i help you then part way through my explanation of the issue, she cut me off to listen to her headset. She then had another guy come and ask what the issue was. I had to explain the problem multiple times because he wouldnt let me finish what i was saying. The manager or supervisor came out and told the girl to go to the drive trough and left me unattended. The guy that was helping me had to remind the manager that i was standing right there. She came back out and gave the staff heck. The first girl started crossing her arms and pouting, complaining about a headache, while the manager went back into the kitchen. Finally, my burger came out and the guy was confused because there were 2 of the same burger in the chutes. They started trying to figure out why there were 2 there and the manager had to tell them to bag my order and deal with the extra burger after. Next time i will go across the street to McDonalds.

A&W has the absolute best breakfast in all of town I dont know why more people dont take advantage of fresh cooked eggs and toast in the morning as opposed to MCfrozen food at all the others! I just order two eggs over easy and a side of brown toast and I think that only cost like $5 and its made to order fresh so youre getting excellent quality eggs
