If want to see one of best view in Kelowna, it is your place to go. The only problem is quality of food. Do not get me wrong, the food is ok but considering the prices is not worth what they charge. Service is average at best.

Must visit spot in Kelowna. Lovely terrace for dining and their cooking classes are fun to attend. Would highly recommend

My wife and I have dined at The Terrace a number of times over the years and have never left disappointed. We had lunch on the way down to our sons wedding this week and went back on the way home. The food was exceptional and the terroir wine pairings were incredible. The service is always friendly, informative and professional. One of our favorite places in Canada for a meal.

They dont take single guest reservation. It is their restaurant and they can do whatever they want, but it is very unfriendly to treat single traveller/visitor. All they care is about money, unless they can give a very reasonable explanation why a single person reservation would not be accepted.

We had a great experience at the terrace restaurant, the service from Brayden S was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable on all the wines & pairings! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible, we had a magical evening at the Terrace, easily one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. The location, view and atmosphere is outstanding, every course and wine pairing was delicious and incredibly well done. Our compliments to Cameron who took wonderful care of us throughout the evening.

Fine Dining without the attitude, beautiful experience from start to finish. The menu is diverse and designed to be enjoyed with the heat, the view is unique, service outstanding (Hannah very personable, never mechanic), price is hard to believe: $70 with 3 courses and wine pairing. Good job !

Lunch was a two course set menu with paired wine. Two options for each course with option to elevate the wine pairing, add dessert, or starter. Beautiful view on the estate and wonderful meal.

We had the most special night for our anniversary. Food is a 12/10 service 15/10 and the view is stunning wherever you sit! Thanks to Olivia and the whole team for the lovely evening!

We tried their 4-course meal for $150 per person. The food was delicious and their wines were perfect. The service was amazing, though a bit slow between dishes, the atmosphere was perfect. It was stunning.

Been coming a number of times over the years... Today was unremarkable unfortunately. family dining which meant one choice. Server insisted on using us & we endlessly like she was a part of the group which I do find highly irritating. The heirloom tomotoes were fantastic as were the pairings & the main course of the chicken. Dessert was tasteless to me; like a bland chocolate bran muffin sadness. I asked the server & she stated it was a vegan & gluten free dessert.... Nailed it. This after we had chicken & bread earlier in the meal. View was great as always; food was okay. Next year perhaps food choices will be back?

Wonderful classic French interior and ambiance. Food was nice, and the entree was duck. It s nice not having to choose and having a set menu. Lexie made this night even more special with her outstanding service.

Disappointed about the changes at the Terrace Restaurant. Mission Hill has been one of my favourite places to visit in Kelowna since before I had kids. The last time we visited the restaurant was in 2015 with my baby daughter, husband and my cousins. The food and service was incredible! We finally made it back to Kelowna this year and made very early weekday evening reservations to visit the restaurant with our 5 & 7 year old daughters. I had already been to the wine shop on my own earlier in the week and was disappointed that tastings were no longer being offered. Picked up a few bottles anyway and looked forward to returning for a meal and showing my daughters the beautiful grounds. We got a call the day before our reservation and were told that, regardless of our daughters ages, we were required to order the set menu at $150 per person with $10 dollars off for the kids (so $140 per child). We would have loved to visit the restaurant but there is no way my girls would eat even $20 worth of food. Sad to miss out I hope this new policy changes in the future so we can come back.

I had a surprise luncheon there on Mothers Day and it was brilliant!! Our server was so knowledgeable and personable, with just the right amount of attention to our needs... Olivia is a definite gem and an asset to a fabulous restaurant.... needless to say the meal was perfectly paired with the wines and it made for a wonderful afternoon...well be back!

Go here for the lunch, youll absolutely enjoy it. 2 course meals with 3 wine parings, at an affordable price of $70 per person. I honestly think this is a Michelin 2 star level restaurant - if Canada has Michelin rankings.

The view is stunning the fries is so good other than that the food is not my style the set menu doesn t give u the freedom to eat and try things, not suitable for families no kids menu very limited choices my daughter had simple pasta, for such amazing winery they should work on their restaurant. Too expensive for the set menu selection. The wine is good this is why they got 3 stars and our waiter Joe gave us good service. Would not eat there again but definitely will visit the winery.

The terrace embodies fine dining in its truest sense. Is it pricey? Sure, but taking a brief moment to consider the incredible quality of ingredients, preparation, wine, service, and ambience, youd be very hard pressed to find a comparable experience at a lesser price. Dont expect this to be a cheap and cheerful evening out. Expect to sit back and take a deep dive into the possibilities of professionally curated culinary experiences. Absolutely worth saving for and splurging on.

We had such an amazing experience at Mission Hill Terrace! My group was celebrating a special occasion, and the staff made it extra special for us. We also had a handful of dietary restrictions, and it was the most accommodated weve ever felt at a restaurant before - they truly went above and beyond. The food and wine pairings were delicious, the service was amazing from everyone and especially our server, Tessa who made the night so much fun, the view was incredible, and I highly recommend!

It was my first time here and we had the pleasure being served by Chris! Not only was he warm and welcoming, but he romanced every dish and wine with perfection. He made sure we left satisfied and we let him know we would be back every year just to experience it all over again! Thank you Chris!!

Such a beautiful place to dine in. Everything was good until we were served by a Japanese waitress. I hoped she was having a bad day but she treated other table with different racial background so much better. And she treated us with a bad service. E.g She got annoyed with asking extra ice, and tell us Im busy with annoyed voice. We would give her low tips but 18 percent already included in the total bill. No choice. What a disappointment on fine dining and beautiful location. Come on! Need to treat customers fairly regardless of their race.

Easily top 3 dinners for food and service I have ever had they made our groups trip and my girlfriends birthday more than we could have hoped for. The fact that people are writing bad reviews because they dont like that the restaurant is a set menu are both ridiculous and extremely childish. Read the menu/website/reservation, it is meant to be a fine dinning experience with wine pairings. Not a place to order a burger or take your kids for a family meal. They require bookings for everything because they are so busy and covid to keep things in order. Giving a place a bad review not because the food was bad or the service but just because it isnt the style of restaurant you want it to be is Ludacris and you should probably grow up. The price tag is well worth it if you like great food and wine pairings.

Braden was amazing, he explained all the different courses and wine pairings. Shoot out to Heather and Patrick in the kitchen serving up such flavours we have been back 2-3 times each year and it never disappoints.

Great lunch with wine pairing, can choose between 2 starters and 2 mains. The scallops were delicious. Good service and incredible views of the lake over the vineyards.

Weve been to The Terrace Restaurant four times and each visit is a unique dining experience. If you enjoy great food paired with excellent wine then their set course dinner wont disappoint. Each dish is beautifully prepared and each wine has been thoughtfully paired to enhance the flavours of that dish. And in case you like a wine that you had with your meal, I appreciate that you can purchase bottles at the same price as you would pay in their wine shop. Overall, a great experience each time we have been there.

The food here was amazing - so was the service by Chikayo! We had a driver in our company so he did not drink and she served an non-alcoholic drink without us asking. This place is worth spending on for the quality of food, service, and views!

When we first came to the winery and restaurant 8 years ago, we were amazed. We loved everything about it - food, service, and view of course. We ve kept coming back for years and unfortunately, the restaurant seems to have changed for the worse now. We were utterly disappointed during our most recent visit this summer. Have a look at the pictures of the food for yourself - we couldn t believe what meager portion we were being served - 1/3 of a small salmon fillet per person and the desert, which we ordered separate from the set menu, was pretty much just crumbs. We thought it was a joke. When we joked with the staff, there wasn t a single sense of apology and instead, there was just pure arrogance. That was after we waited 40 minutes for our reserved time slot. We have serious doubts that we wanna come back again. Unless this is your style, there are so many better choices in Kelowna. I left two stars - one for the view, and one for the years of good experience we had prior to this recent visit.

Was surprised at how both dishes tasted. Exceeded my expectations, it was absolutely delicious. It was just a bit hot since it was on the patio.

Really nice place I loved the terrace, the views, and the ambience here. Definitely an elegant and unique experience especially for someone like me who hasn t been to one of these wineries before. The food was delicious, high quality, and well balanced with excellent wine pairings. I ordered the scallops and though the scallops themselves were big and delicious, there were only 3 and I need more for an entree. Overall great view and high quality, Tasteful food, but value-oriented diners probably won t feel satisfied.

Excellent value for lunch with 3 glasses of wine and two excellent dishes. All dishes tasted wonderful and were well-prepared. Service was good.

We were transported to such a special place with our experience at the winery restaurant! We could have been in another country, we truly felt like we were on vacation somewhere special. As we were seated I told our hostess that it was our anniversary and within minutes we were presented with a special card - what a personal touch! Excellent customer service! And the food was icredible, such a joy to experience! Of course, we have brouhgt home wine to enjoy and remember our visit!

Lucky enough to go on a beautiful sunny day we had the most amazing and memorable experience. The $60 2 course menu includes paired wines. The view is stunning, the staff welcoming, the food excellent and certainly the best way to taste four of their wines.

The view, the service, and most importantly the food, are what make this place truly spectacular.

This was my first dinning out experience since the start of the pandemic and it did not disappoint! WOW! Right away they checked all our vaccination passports and seating was very spread out (and its outside) which made it feel very safe. The service was impeccable as you would expect. We had an amazing server named Joe who not only put up with us, he was so kind and knowledgable. Each and every course was delicious. I would have to say that they halibut was my favourite, but every bite start to finish was amazing. I loved having the chance to taste so many different wines from Mission Hill and at a price point that was very reasonable. This was such a treat and I hope I can go back the next time were in town.

This was the perfect way to end our trip in Kelowna. We booked the legacy tour at Mission Hill and it ended with a superb wine and food pairing at the Terrace. I can t recommend it enough!

Absolutely fantastic. Our third and best time here, and getting better every time. Halibut, fermented wild scallops and Walnut desserts were standouts.

What an incredible experience! The chef creation was a work of art. My two teenagers were the only kinds in the place I was worried how they would weather the 6 course meal over three hours ... They both absolutely loved every course. The scenery and the whole experience at the terrace is something very special and remnant of the old country. Even the bell tower that rings every 15 minutes and on the hour. And of course the wine paired so immaculately to each course that you are constantly having a new conversation throughout the evening. The staff was amazing. This is my second.visitand will be back again for sure.

We got the 5 course meal with wine pairing and it was absolutely delicious. Its expensive but a luxury worth every penny if you can afford it.

The setting of the restaurant is absolutely stunning. We went in for lunch, and while it was incredibly hot outside, the restaurant was using some misting system which was quite helpful. The staff was friendly. The food is what I wasn t a big fan of. You have a choice of one appetizer and one main course. I had Okanagan tomato for appetizer and BC wild sidestripe shrimp for main course. Lunch also comes with two choices of wine. Overall, pleasant experience.

My husband and I had this lovely dinner planned for our anniversary. It was already cancelled once because of the smoke so we rebooked it for a few days after. We showed up to mission hills for our dinner reservation and they told us it was cancelled! Its so disappointing and we never recieved any notification of it! I cant believe management didnt come talk to us when this happened especially with a restaurant like this.

The revamped lunch menu is great for two. For non alcoholic pairing I would advise the sparkling apple juice! The scallops were to die for!

We had an amazing experience the other night at this restaurant. It was a beautiful night. Right from the beginning we were greeted by an enthusiastic host, which I believe was the manager, her name was Sara. She later treated us with an extra glass of wine with our steak which really made our evening. Lexi, our server was extremely knowledgable never rushing us. Overall an unforgettable evening! The view was incredible set the perfect atmosphere for the night!

Stunning view, amazing food, wonderful service. We were a party of three, reserved quite ahead of the time as we were travelling from Vancouver Island. Every dish even the desserts and the daily bread was top notch. When we were there, there even was a live performer right on the lawn in front of the restaurant s balcony. Great experience, and definitely plan on visiting back every summer.

Bad slow front desk rep service - waiting too long Too many empty table they rather turn customer away than take them fill in ( maybe they too rich dont need business) The person who took our drinks order wasn t even our server. I dont think that should be nesscesary because the restaurant wasnt even busy. About 5 table were still empty. Staffs stood around the kitchen area and chit chatted which cause orders to take very long. Food good- fresh -sarah very friendly No heat - too windy -frozen We been visit this restaurant every time we visit kelowna but this time 0 star - bad experience

This restaurant was absolutely beautiful; from the moment you drive in the driveway to the winery to the entrance of the restaurant. Customer service was beyond; from our hostess to our server; they just went above and beyond. Amazed by everything. We went on a rainy day which was still amazing because of the heated terrace. Food was good, but not amazing. Everything was local and fresh and looked beautiful however taste was missing. I was expecting to be blown away or to taste something I have never had tasted before. But you must try the bread with oil and vinegar together with the butter. Amazing together not separate. Price was descent for the quality. diffidently recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view!

Restaurant on a terrace overlooking the vineyards and lake below. Fantatsic ambiance and setting for a romantic dinner. Food is fresh with many delicious choices, all made with locally-sourced ingredients. But the taste is good but not great and portions are small for the price. Wine is excellent as one would expect. Attentive staff.

This restaurant is really beautiful (thats for one of the two stars...) and our server was nice (the other star..). However, they dont sit people until 5 pm on the dot.. we got there 5-10 mins before with a reservation at 5 and still got turned around. We ordered a few appetizers which cane at a decent timing but the main dishes came ONE HOUR after! Also, all foods other than the steak and potatoes were very SALTY! I could hear myself crunching on salts while eating salads without the dressing! Dressing was uber salty too. We were also seated by another couple who started arguing and started video calling in the middle of dinner... theres nothing the restaurant can do about the arguing but they really shouldve said something about video calling since they were being super loud and other people were all looking too. Overall, it was a very expensive but unpleasant dinner... definitely will not be back...

What a beautiful location set overlooking the vineyard and lake. Gorgeous outdoor patio setting made us feel like we were in Tuscany. Delicious food and great service. Must try the chocolate salted dessert.

The reviews are accurate, excellent views, stunning food, and amazing service. I ordered their beef brisket burger and was amazed by how good it was. Their fries were equally as delicious and it came with two dipping sauces. My girlfriends pasta (fresh made durum wheat spaghetti with scallops, shrimp and parm) was also really good and I would highly recommend that dish as well. We came to wine country to indulge so we did, the prices are up there so just be aware of that.

Glorious outside terrace at the winery overlooking Okanagan lake. We were lucky enough to have the weather stay clear for the duration of our meal as the weather wasnt the best! We had a combination of sunshine and clouds. We did not have an appetizer as we had just finished the Sommelier guided tour with wine and nibbles We started our meal by ordering a red terroir flight and a white terroir flight. My husband ordered the brisket Burger and fries. The portion was large, the brisket was amazing and the carmelized aoli to accompany the fries was delectable! I went with the daily special - steelhead trout with crispy skin, accompanied by new potatoes and veggies from their garden. Everything rested on a green sauce of olive oil and herbes from their kitchen garden. The fish was perfectly prepared, very moist with the crispy skin a flavourful and textural contrast! For dessert, a chocolate mouse resting on a hazelnut base coated in manjari chocolate. Accented with candied hazelnuts and a light butterscotch sauce. As we ate our meals we worked our way through the flights of wine. It was a truly satisfying gastronomic experience!

Stunning experience. The wine was fantastic (as you would expect) and the food equally so. We booked for around 5:30 to get the evening light and we did not regret it, the most stunning location to have dinner in. Perfect for a date night or just a perfect night out!

Buyer Beware we tasted and purchased wine from the winery it was approx around $30. Then we were asked in the restaurant when we sat down what would we like to drink, and were not offered a wine menu, we said the rose we just purchased in the wine shop, ,they charged us $75.00 a bottle without telling us the markup, we found out after we ordered 2 bottles for our family of 9 at lunch. Big not very nice surprise. Very disappointed in the smoke and mirrors - food tasted OK, surroundings were beautiful. Very nice atmosphere.

We spend an evening in this great winery and restaurant. The food was outstanding. The wine is good but quite expensive. The view from the property is amazing. I would recommend to come here if you dont care about the high prices.

Almost left upon arrival because of the hostess - cold, unemotional and almost rude. Expected to feel delighted by the view, the food and enjoy pleasant service. Instead, felt like we paid for enjoying the view, taste of the food and not much else: great food but small portions; service was barely adequate; have to watch out the wine prices as others pointed; metal tables without table cloths. It was not even busy when we were there. Would not recommend.

Ive attended two special event small group fixed menu wine paired dinners at Mission Hill. We were set up in special rooms. Food and service were as good as the best restaurants Ive been to anywhere including the high end offerings in Vegas. This dining experience is in my view the best Kelowna or should I say West Kelowna has to offer.

Loved our experience here. There is a gorgeous view around you while you dine on a delicious meal. The day we went was actually very windy but you dont feel it at all because it is completely covered. The service was great, they were able to suggest excellent wines to complement our meal. We had a scallop dish that was perfectly seared. The foie gras pate was smooth and buttery tasting. The ambience is rustic and slightly romantic. Wed come back.

Below my expectations. The food was good but wasn`t warm and also took 55 minutes. The lake view is beautiful. However, the tables are poor (metal foldable tables) and there are no table cloths. The place wasn`t build for a restaurant. The wine was good, but a wine bottle costs 3 times the price at the BC Liquor Store. Unbelievable. The service was just average, but below what I expect of a high end restaurant. When I left with my wife, at the reception desk there were two staff members talking and I said good night and I didnt hear anything back from them. I dont recomend.
