Though the food and service at Turtle Jack's were good, they are seriously lacking when it comes to respecting customer privacy. I recently downloaded the Turtle Jack's app as recommended by our server to earn points and rewards. Initially, it seemed like a great idea—who doesn’t like perks for dining? But my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I realized you cannot sign up without providing your date of birth. This is a hard no for me. There is absolutely no reason Turtle Jack’s needs my birth date to enroll me in a rewards program. This feels like an unnecessary data grab for statistics or marketing purposes, and it’s a serious security issue. In a time where data breaches are all too common, I’m unwilling to share sensitive personal information like my date of birth. It’s simply not worth the risk. Businesses should prioritize customer privacy, not demand information they don’t truly need. Sadly, I won’t be signing up for the rewards program, and I’m left with a sour taste about the experience overall.
Came in for a lunch/dinner around 4PM on Saturday it wasn’t too busy and I was very quick to be seated, Amber was my server I got the Tuscan steak sandwich and had it done medium rare the food came quick and was hot and full of flavour, I was able to eat pay and leave in a quick manner very happy to see a place like this open up here!
Came to check it out, gotta say the burger was really excellent. Every pub on the west side starts their burgers at $21... At $23 this bacon cheddar burger with onion strings was grilled to perfection and didn't feel too heavy (all things considered). Can't speak to any food but the burg, but I would definitely come back for that on its own. They also had the football game on huge screens on the bar side which was an unexpected bonus. I'd put it at #2 burger on the west side second only to Modest Butcher.
What an extraordinary experience with the manager on site, servers , bar tender and all kitchen staff. So friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed my Hubbies birthday dinner with you! Cheers 🥂 to all of TJ’ team !!! Well done - we will be back 🤍
Went for my first time yesterday with 7 of us. We were jerks and walked in right at 10:49 but they were ready and all so amazing and friendly. Some had been some haven’t but all had heard great things. IT WAS AMAZING everything was delicious. Peter was the bartender and also our server. He was amazing! Pricing was on point. Presentation. All of it. My exciting part was they bring a bottle of mayo with ketchup to the table for fries and that’s genius!!
I cannot rave enough about this place!! They only just opened and I’ve been twice. I am so beyond excited to have another restaurant option on the westside. Everything was top notch and I am surprised at how fast our food was with how packed it was and for just opening you kinda expect a few hiccups but I’ve only seen perfection! I would 11/10 recommend this place to everyone!
We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Turtle Jacks in West Kelowna as we knew that the former manager of OJ’s Kyle was leading the team. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess team and the experience from then on did not disappoint. Our server was a lovely young lady, Madison and her approachable and engaging personality was a highlight. The beverage list could include a little BC wine but given they are newly opened we understand. The menu is diverse and there is something for everyone. Our dishes were served in a timely manner and did not disappoint. Attention to service standards seems to be a focus which is nice and appreciated. Will definitely be dining there again soon. They also have a loyalty program which is always a nice bonus. Thanks Kyle and team and good luck with the new venture.
A welcomed new addition to West Kelowna! My partner and I had dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed it. As you enter the restaurant the bar area is very inviting with the large televisions situated around the bar as well as comfortable seating - mixture of booth seating and tables. This would be an awesome place to watch your favourite sports game. We started with the bang bang shrimp and the whipped feta. Both of which were delicious and the portion sizes were huge. I had the beef dip and my partner had the chicken sandwich, portion sizes were amazing and you can tell it was made with fresh ingredients. Dessert we had the cinnamon sugar ice cream and the sticky toffee pudding. Sticky toffee pudding is my favourite dessert and I can honestly say this was one of the best I’ve had. The ice cream dessert was also great, again the portion sizes are HUGE. We were greeted and served by Ashley, you can tell she’s been working in the serving industry for years as she was very attentive and genuinely friendly. She made sure we were well taken care of all night. We also tried a few of the different cocktails on the menu and they were delicious! We can’t wait to go back!
Bartender Veronica gives a very high level of customer service, burger was the best I ve had in the okanagan. Will be back!
Its getting there. Second time was a lot better than the first, so well return. Just a little loud over dinner service but that creates I guess an atmosphere that some like.

Our first time here and enjoyed the full rack of ribs and the power bowl. The power bowl was light and healthy and a nice contrast to the ribs. Good portion size on the ribs.
We had a great meal with awesome service and I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. A real treat to see people who care that everything is right and all done with friendly banter and smiles. Food
Gave it a try twice, probably wont be back. First visit it took awhile for the waitress to come over and check on our meals, I was missing an ingredient in the meal. Sat us right behind the hostess station by the door on the bar side where we could hear the hostesses entire conversation, not much privacy. Second visit- Sat us at the same terrible table behind the hostess station. They have a gluten free menu but didnt have any gluten free buns, pretty disappointing. I ordered a Baileys coffee and watched it sit for too long at the bar waiting for the server to pick it up while the whip cream melted and spilled over the cup. Server proceeded to bring it to me anyways. Asked the server to top up my coffee as it was cold halfway through and she brought me over a full americano coffee in a cup as if I was to pour from cup to cup and top it up myself? Server said they didnt have drip coffee. Food is average, atmosphere is pretty generic, nothing special there.

Excellent Restaurant. Food was really good. Quite likely the best restaurant in West Kelowna.
First time visitor. As soon as I walked in I was impressed by the upbeat, warm ambiance. I ordered the fish tacos and barley soup. Both were great. The only negative comment is that the tables are to close to the benches so hard to get up and out. Parking: Many spots available during the lunch hour when I visited.
AMBER our server made our first meal at Turtle Jacks a great experience. We were impressed with the friendliness and good service ! The food we had was perfect and tasty. We were looking for a place to take our guests in the WestBank area that was reasonable and Good food . We found it and really recommend it to everyone , thanks
First time there, friends wanted to try since reviews were 4 out of 5. We ordered beef dip - was bland & cold when it got to the table, the chicken wraps & turkey naan - mediocre. Server was very attentive and courteous. Drinks were excellent. Too bad they missed the mark on the food! I don t think we ll be going back but if you re looking for a place with good drinks and TV, definitely give it a try!

Loved all the options on the menu. The prices I found to be reasonable the we were very happy with our meals and the service.
Stopped in to see what everyone has been talking about. Had the hell of a burger, delicious! The sangria was soooo good! Definitely will be back to sample more. The dessert menu sounded great but no room left for dessert. Definitely recommend.
At 4 pm there were only a few people dining but with the music and the voices bouncing off the hard surfaces the noise was deafening. If you are looking for a lovely atmosphere for good conversation this isn t the place to go. The server was warm and friendly. The food was mediocre but as our server pointed out this week is a trial run.
Poor attempt at copying cactus club, keg type of restaurant. Understand that it only opened a few days ago, but geez. Managers moved to nice table next to us, leaving my partner and I to sit at a side table better described as kid s table. One kept on waving her finger at bar staff like a kindergarten teacher at her misbehaving students. I ll give it a couple of months and maybe convinced them another chance
10/10 super stoked for another restaurant on the Westside, turtle wings were amazing as well as all our mains, the atmosphere and the service was fantastic will be back!

Meh - is the best word to describe this place. The servers are nice, friendly and helpful. But the food is nothing to get excited about. It s just a cheap moxies / milestones type feel with less quality food. The room is bland and even though it wasn t busy, was very loud. The room amplifies everything: Was excited to check it out but for the same kind of money and on the westside Sammie s is a far better option.
What a wonderful place to go with your friends and family. Great food selection. The atmosphere is fantastic. Lots of parking. Definitely check them out. You ll be happy you did.
Wow! My husband and I just had lunch here after hearing about all of the raves on our local fb groups. The food 10/10 and our server Lani was incredible. Fantastic service, we will definitely be back :)
Absolutely amazing food and service, highly recommend
Sadly, we were not able to try out the cuisine. When we entered the establishment at 5pm, we noticed it was extremely noisy. I could not hear the hostess. It took a while for a table to get cleared for us so we waited. The hostess clearing the table seemed to get easily distracted so we waited some more. We could barely hear each other speak. A family of four came in after us and the serving staff decided to give the finally cleaned table away to them so we decided to leave and go to Boston Pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at BP. We may or may not attempt to try Turtle Jacks again. I am sure we could not bring another couple as we wouldnt be able to hear each other talk. Great place for others who like noisy places but not for us.

Our first time at this new restaurant. My partner and I always belly up at bar tops when we go to sports bars/restaurants. We HATED their bar top. Could you make it any smaller? OMG!! Our plates barely fit on the bar top and bartenders are making drinks right by our food. They need to make that bar top waayyyy bigger. Guests need a little personal space. Worse bar top we have ever sat at. Many customers have complained about this - hope they can make some changes. Bar top is not practical. Avoid sitting at the first 4 seats as that s where they make/shake the drinks.
What an awesome new addition to west Kelowna! We have been here about 6 times in two weeks. Great food and a super friendly staff! Thank you guys!!
Our server was delightful, Ashley did a fantastic job! They were more than accommodating to have a baby at the table, the whole staff even came out and saying me happy birthday what an experience! Would recommend!!
Excellent! Mags was our server and she was awesome. I hade the Tuscan Steak sandwich and it was perfect, My husband had the beef dip and loved it. Highly recommend.
Had the Buffalo Meatloaf and it was AMAZING!!! Trevor, the Manager, is such a friendly guy, and made a point of coming over to say hello!!! Will be going back to try other things on their menu for sure. Restaurant was immaculate, well lit and the people are awesome!! Definitely 5 star.
