I ordered some sushi there and they gave me no soy sauce. No wasabi, and didn t bag my food. The guy at the till was cold, rude and his customer service skills were terrible. I m upset cause this is the sushi restaurant closest to my house and I love sushi but looks like I gotta find a new place to go because I m not coming back here anymore.

Started the meal with 5 menus for 6 people, after asking for more. I ordered the tempura and teriyaki dinner combo. I asked no onion, and then still got an onion ring as part of my tempura... When we told the server, he didnt say anything and never corrected the mistake. Never apologized. Part of the problem is that we came before the start of the dinner rush, and our one server seemed to be serving the entire restaurant as it filled up. The beef teriyaki was the most disappointing part of the meal... worse than Edo Japan. Sushi and tempura were good. Green salad was good, standard. Miso soup was great! Dont order beef teriyaki. The tap water tasted of metal. Portion sizes are healthy, prices seem expensive until you get your meal and see that its bigger portions than a typical dinner bento box.

Delicious Japanese dishes and Sushi. Lovely calming environment. Every working there are very gracious and sift spoken. We were very impressed. Vegetarian options: There are numerous choices with a generous menu offering vegetarian, and a large variety of rolls, delicious soup etc. Dietary restrictions: If you request an item to be left out of a dish, they will do that for you.

Best Japanese sushi in west Kelowna. Owners have changed over the years but food is consistent and delicious. Dynamite roll, crispy crispy roll and gomae = perfect.

Nomo Sushi! My husband and I were really looking forward to having a nice Valentines dinner at Momo Sushi. We arrived just after 6:00 pm, plenty of time before they closed at 8:30 pm. There were a few tables left so we picked one and sat down. A server comes over to tell us the dining section is closed and the only option was take out. Seriously?? Its Valentines Day, its dinner time and they were still open for at least another 2 hours! We are fairly new to West Kelowna and dont know many of the restaurants in the area yet. We ended up finding Sushi Kojo Westside and the service was awesome! We finally got to enjoy our first Valentines dinner here in West Kelowna. Momo Sushi should change their name to Nomo Sushi we wont be back!!

This is my favourite sushi restaurant in all of the okanagan, large portions with good quality fish for a very reasonable price, definitely recommend! This was my first time at Momo s, and I was blown away by the portion size. My yam roll was twice if not three times then other near by sushi places, my yam tempura was also a much larger portion then Iam used to getting at other places. Very delicious and with the portions the size they are and the great prices, and friendly owners this is my new favorite place.

Used to be my favourite sushi place, but recently customer service has gone down hill. No one answers the phone so you can place a take-out order, even calling for 20 min straight, no answer, and no message stating they are short staffed or whatever and not taking phone in orders....so I decided to drive down to place my take-out order in person, to stand there for 20 min for a brief hello, then nothing. No one asked what I needed, or at least took my order quick to add it to the queue, nothing. I finally just walked out. What a waste of my time. I decided to give it another shot thinking it was a bad night.... well I just spent another 15 minutes calling continuously to no one picking up the phone, no message, nothing. And I learned my lesson last time, I wasnt about to try walking in. Only reason for 3 stars and not 1, was rhey used to be good. Hope they can turn it around.

Just had the Bento Box and it was really good! Super fresh and the sushi was delicious too. Price was excellent for the portion. The food was ready in 10 minutes, nice little lunch on our way to Vernon.

food was delicious as always. but the service was absolute dog water. took 10 minutes to even be spoken to after we sat down. didn t bring water until half way through the meal even tho the restaurant was empty. will only be ordering takeout from now on from this location.

The green tea and miso soup were a nice temperature, the sushi rolls were delicious... everything was amazing and didnt fall apart. Although it was moving, the service was great.

I regularly enjoy Sushi at Momo Sushi. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Family owned and operated. Authentic Japanese cuisine. And very fast, courteous service. Best sushi in West Kelowna. Ive tried them all. Nothing compares to Momo West Kelowna.

This place is delicious, no wonder it s so popular! We always prepare to wait a little longer, but I d rather wait for excellent sushi, than have quick, mediocre food that other places have.

The food was good The service was good The food came out fast The price was reasonable $70 for five people. The only thing I didnt like about it is I have to pay for parking but Im not going to knock the whole star off for that. I would recommend this especially since Ive tried all of these sushi places south of them in Kelowna Vegetarian options: Daughter got avocodo and cucumber roll. She liked it Kid-friendliness: Our party was two adults and three kids. We sat in a booth with three wood walls around us so brought down our stress levels because they werent able to annoy the other customers as much as they usually do.

Food wasnt bad, but not good either. Gyoza seemed half raw. Couldnt give more than 2 stars mainly because of staff. Horribly unfriendly, when we asked for lemons in the water she scowled, she walked away before I ordered my miso and was so displeased when I ordered it on her return, that I was worried she spat into my soup. She forgot to give us soy sauce, part of the dishes came out way later than others, didnt receive a few things we asked for. Hopefully she was just having a bad day but the attitude amd service did not make me want to come back.

The food was okay but not the best. The waitress was not welcoming at all and made us feel bad for even asking for a lemon in the water. Maybe she just had a bad day, but it makes me not wanting to come back.

Great sushi every time !

We got a take out a few days ago, and I was a bit disappointed with the quality. Paid $3.75 for a small spicy miso soup which was ice cold and not spicy, and the tempura was soggy. However the Maki sushi rolls were delicious. Not sure why, but the other locations are more consistent with the quality of food.

Absolutely the best sushi in town. The owners and staff are hard working and they get it right concerning great fresh food and service. I have ordered from here for 5 years and it is always spectacular. Treat yourself, youll be back again and again.

I had dinner here when I drove through a year ago. For where it is located, I can understand why they serve what they serve. Its not authentic but if the community likes it, then its a successful business. It didnt work well with me. Too sweet and odd for sushi.

I always order the deep-fried California roll (mild) and the tako sunomono. It is the cheapest best sushi in town! ! ! You Get the most bang for your buck.

Amazing sushi!! I usually get my sushi right in Kelowna as that s where I live, but I was passing through west kelowna and gave momo a try and oh boy it didn t disappoint! Sunomono, good. Sashimi, good. Spicy tuna roll, goooooooood. You will not be disappointed!!

This location always fails compared to the downtown kelowna Mo Mo sushi. I dont know how the difference can be so extreme

Service meh. Quality meh. Presentation meh meh. Not even close to authentic Japanese tastes, more like an edo franchise then a Japanese experience.

My husband and I love momo! More than the food, the staff are amazing. Always run off their feet with a bustling business, but never fail to say hello, smile and say goodbye when you leave. We have not been the best customer, often coming in during the busiest hours looking for take out or a table, but are never refused. The best sushi and the best staff in west Kelowna!

Food was lukewarm, water was tepid, service was slow, ordered chicken teriyaki, got something in a bowl with scant pieces of flavourless chicken, rice, cabbage and weird noodles. Order was wrong yet server said it s the same. Won t return, very disappointed.

Sushi wasnt very good unfortunately. It was fairly bland and just not very good quality. There are so many better sushi options in the area. Dont get this place confused with either of the other Momos in Kelowna (which are good,) this one is under different ownership.

Momos in West Kelowna is our favorite restaurant. The service is impeccable and the food is of high quality and sooo delicious! The owners are incredibly kind and greet everyone that walks through their door with a hello and a smile. This is the place youll want to go for sushi... You will not be disappointed!!

Had a wonderful server but she was overrun

Purchased the party tray combo C and 6 of the 7 rolls were variations on a cali roll. Would never order a party try like that again. Reply to owners response: The chicken roll was the only one that didnt have crab meat in it so yes 6 of the 7 rolls were a variation of a cali roll. Usually a philadelphia roll has smoked salmon, cream cheese & cucumber... No imitation crab necessary. A BC roll usually has BBQ salmon and cucumber once again imitation crab not necessary. Dynamite roll had imitation crab, the crispy crispy was a cali roll with tempura and the Atlantic also fake crab. 6 of the 7 rolls are basically all the same. I prefer quality over quantity and dont like imitation crab in every roll. Just my personal preference. Iv had a bento box before and enjoyed it. I just dont like the combo C plater.

Medium price range that buys you medium quality sushi. I think its a great ratio of cost to quality, plus the staff are always very friendly. I dont think youll find anywhere that has better quality sushi at this price point.

I cant believe the quality of the food in this restaurant. The reason why fried foods smell so strong is probably that they dont use fresh oil. According to an internal informant, leftover food is used again.

The best sushi in Kelowna and West Kelowna in my opinion. Everything is so fresh, the rolls don t fall apart, and the selection of rolls they have is great! Probably the best prices around as well.

My family has been here several times before and we have not once received poor customer service! Everyone is nice and the food served here is amazing. The setting of the place is comforting and calm. A great place to eat before or after going to the theatres next door!

This is not the same MOMO as Kelowna (Downtown or Pandosy). Just be aware of that going here. For me, I do not like the sushi here. Personal preference. My expectations were high given we thought it was the same chain as Kelownas MOMO.

It was okay, the sever was trying to be super friendly, I guess we just where not as energetic for the occasion. Not theyre fault at all. Im just grumpy sometimes.

Staff are super friendly and nice, food was not very good. This is not the same as the Momo in downtown Kelowna, the logo on the door looks the same but the menu and food are very different unfortunately.

I give this establishment 0 stars. My husband and I called to just see if they were open, a lady answered and said yes, I said we would call back with our order. Not even 5 minutes later we call back... after an hour of trying, and only receiving the voicemail immediately, we drove to the place. We walked in, stood at the door of a more then half empty restaurant being ignored then finally turned away. Absolutely horrible service, and treatment. Disgusting.

The sushi was good. Neat atmosphere wood benches, great location if you are going to the cheaper theatre in west Kelowna. The staff are very friendly greeting and saying goodbye to everyone that walks in or out of the restaurant. The dinner box was fairly large and was a good value.

I d give 0 stars if I could. My friend placed a takeout order (2 party trays) at 530pm to be ready by 7pm. We arrived a bit earlier at 630pm cause we came from the airport. They told us it won t be ready until 7pm. We decided to order a few more rolls as we were afraid it wasn t enough - we had to leave to be somewhere else before 730pm and they ensured us it d be ready. We leave and come back around 715pm, we still them preparing takeout assuming it was ours, but it turned out it was for a lady who ordered after us...we go ask them how much longer it might take - apparently they only had a few of the rolls ready and haven t even started our sushi tray yet! They were extremely unorganized, understaffed and didn t bother to do much to try to make up for it. And one other customer before us doing pickup also said that the tempura he ordered was sitting on the counter for over 20mins as he was waiting for his sushi to be made so it would ve of been all cold and soggy.

If only I could give 0 star I would. We placed a takeout order at 5:30 pm to be ready for pick up at 7 pm. We arrived earlier than we thought around 6:30 pm from the airport. They told us its not going to be ready until 7pm because the rolls in the party tray will take a while. We patiently waited and added a few more rolls because we were hungry and they told us it will be ready. We took a walk and came back around 7:15pm and asked them about our order. We did see some boxes ready on the counter so we thought it was ours. Only it ended to be the lady who order at the place after we initally walked into the store. This is when it makes us wonder how much longer it will be for something thats supposed to be ready at 7 pm and ready before the countless orders after us. Unfortunately, the lady told us they only have a few things ready and they have not even started our party tray. They were super unorganized, understaffed and not even apologetic. They did absolutely nothing to get our orders ready on time. If you cant organize when an order come in, I dont know how you guys do business. To be honest, when someone asked for the order to be ready at 7 pm and you said okay you have to do it. Otherwise, my advice to you is to go to some business management lesson and learn how not to pissed off your customer. I was glad that I am only arrived from airport not going to the airport. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE to sum it all. Out of the order, we got basically three dishes (two of them just deep frying) - the three dishes probably takes about 15-20 minutes but we waited for 2 hours plus they have not done the 2 party trays and about 6 other rolls. See what I meant by I dont know how the heck the business is still alive - you turned a $250 order into $50 plus 8 very unsatisfied customers...... Good luck maintaining your business! My advise to people who need to be punctual or have stuff to do after your meal - Please do not come here because you will be late for sure.

The worst experience ever for ordering food! Id honestly give it a 0 star rating if I could! We put through a take out order at 530pm for pick up at 7 for a group of 8. In the end, we only got 3 dishes out of the 2 party trays and extra rolls we ordered. Most of it was deep fried tempura...very disappointing! The ladys attitude wasnt the greatest either. The guy in front of us had his tempura order sitting for 20 minutes and when he asked about it, the lady said its cold but still crispy so it should be still good...seriously?? I would never come back here again after this experience, unacceptable!

Unfortunate. Always went to the momo located in downtown Kelowna after a 7 hour drive from Calgary. Decided to order takeout for our bachelorette party. Biggest disappointment. Called 2 hours ahead to ensure they had enough time to make the order. Friends arrived to pick up the order, nothing was made. Was still charged $50 for cold and soggy appetizers. Food might ve been good but it s too bad they messed up horribly and was not even sorry.

The sushi is fresh and delicious. After touring Mission Hill Winery, I went for lunch. They were friendly and the sushi, rolls, udon, and tempura were all delicious. Highly recommended~

Amazing service! I went in during a busy lunch service to order take out and was quoted 25 minutes. Seemed fair to me since it was so busy, so I took a seat and waited. The time quoted was bang on, but they thanked me profusely for waiting anyways and gave me some free add ons! I couldnt believe it. So generous. The food is always so good too, thank you!!

I love Momos in Westbank. I moved out here from Vancouver so I missed sushi. Tried a few places in the area but this one was the best for price, service, and atmosphere. We go almost every weekend :)
