The Bakehouse is a scratch bakery and restaurant, everything is made in house. We do not use any preservatives or artificial ingredients. All of our sandwich meats are roasted and sliced inhouse. All bakery products are made and baked from scratch daily. We pride ourselves in serving healthy homestyle food. We strive to provide the best customer service possible. We aim to make everyone who comes through our doors feel like they are part of our Bakehouse family.
Delicious and cozy. Every time we come here we’re greeted by the lovely staff and have a delicious cozy meal. The eggs Benedict id delicious and every time I visit I can’t resist a pecan turtle bar and their herb sourdough is unmatched!! Though I wished they offered slicing for take-home loaves.
The chicken pot pie was.pretty good, and the salad that came with it was fresh. But the bake brie sandwich was a little expensive, the sandwich was small and so was the pc.of brie.
I recently had breakfast at The Bake House in West Vancouver, and I was eager to try it based on its high review ratings. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. We ordered a scrambled egg with turkey sausage, an eggs benedict, a muffin, and two lattes. While the cafe was bustling with customers, mostly older patrons, we found that the food didn’t quite hit the mark for us. The flavors were rather bland, and we struggled to finish our meals. The coffee also fell short of our hopes, lacking the rich taste we were looking for, and the muffin was just average. While we appreciate the popularity of this local spot, we left feeling disappointed. However, we recognize that taste can be subjective, and others might enjoy it more. We’re glad we gave it a try and hope our feedback can contribute to future improvements.
As always, this place is great. The dip coffee is also really good.

Mmm! Delicious warm buttery cheese scone from The Bakehouse in Dundarave, West Vancouver. I love mine with their yummy raspberry jam!! They’ve got beautiful breads, pies, cookies, slices and more. Everything is absolutely amazing and it’s all baked in house!!
This is breakfast at Grandma's. Nothing more. Nothing less. Cozy Dundarave, West Vancouver covered in freshly fallen golden Maple leaves, as the trees sway the wind and you, toward the rustic door of The Bakehouse. Everything from in-house made eggs and toast, sandwiches, coffee and muffins paralleled with the staff's warm, welcoming and happy-to-see you smiles. Frankly, I haven't had that experience since...well...the last time I was at my Grandma's....which was...well...let's leave it there. "The Works" breakfast was two eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes and rosemary-sourdough toast. Everything on my plate tasted and smelled like it was made for a special guest visiting....like you would at home for a visitor. The flavour and simplicity was not only tasty, but so refreshingly surprising and in contrast to an increasingly commercialized, franchised and everything-bulk world we live in. The "Apple Spice" muffin was oozing pumpkin spice, apples and cinnamon straight out of their own oven freshly baked, and what could top that on a beautiful Autumn morning? The service? How can you not go back to an energy resembling Grandma plating you freshly baked cookies with a smile only she can serve up.
Nestled amongst a strip of shops and restaurants in Dundarave Village, The Bakehouse in Dundarave serves up some fantastic eats and fresh baked goods as well. Featured here: Shrimp Melt Grilled Cheese on Rainbow Bread Adult Grilled Cheese Shrimp Melt: They sure do have some interesting breads at this shop. On the menu, the Shrimp Melt sandwich is said to be served on Curry bread, and indeed the bread did have a bright yellow colour to it, reminiscent of a yellow curry sauce. Grandma really enjoyed this sandwich Grilled Cheese on Rainbow Bread: This was exactly what it sounds like it is. It was a grilled cheese sandwich in which the bread was rainbow coloured! Quite a sight to behold, and yes...it still tasted good! Adult Grilled Cheese: This sandwich didn't come on any kind of colourful bread like the other two sandwiches. Some kind of Herb sourdough bread was used for this. While Rainbow Bread didn't take away from the sandwich's tastiness, I much preferred this Adult version of Grilled Cheese. The Herb sourdough was more flavorful than the Rainbow Bread and this sandwich also had more ingredients other than cheese in it. Overall a very enjoyable meal, and we hope it won't be long before we're back at the Bakehouse again! Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street Location: 2453 Marine Dr., West Vancouver, BC
Very rude and unprofessional service. We were loyal customers and came one day on a morning for breakfast where I had coffee. Later on I decided to order eggs and toast. I waited in the line for 5 minutes and then when I ordered, the woman told me that breakfast ends at 11:30 and eggs and toast can t be served. It was only 11:32, and I had been waiting in the line for 5 minutes. I had been there for 45 minutes prior and she had seen us there and previously taken our orders, but said that it s unfair to other customers to serve me eggs and toast and spoke in a harsh tone. Never coming here again and I will never recommend this place again.
Good brunch with good price and great crew.
The smell of bread was nice when I walked in, and the food was also very delicious.
This place was amazing!!! Both some unique incredible food & some very well done classics! Both the breakfasts and the sweet treats were delicious! Fun atmosphere, out-of-their-way-incredibly-kind staff, and a great experience overall!
Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Baked goods and sandwiches are out of this world. Check out the quaint downtown of Dundarave while youre here.
Love their sandwiches and baked goods. Their bread is always so fresh and delicious. Love this place!
Wonderful people, you can see the bakery workers as you enjoy delicious baked goods and breakfast. Loved the paintings and the cute signs on the walls.
We love this place! They also have Lots of books for toddlers :)
Fantastic food!! Sandwiches, organic salad on this visit. We ll be back!!!!!
Wonderful place. Great pastries.
We stumbled upon this place looking for breakfast on our first morning and first trip to Vancouver. My husband and I both got the full eggs Benny and it was delicious!! All of it~ the Benny, the potatoes, the toast and jam. Yum. One of the best we ve had. And sad we can t get it regularly. Highly recommended! Tip- if there s a free table when you go in, snag it first then order (unless you re alone, lol.)
Food is average. However, very disappointing with the way this place is managed. Rarely open and when opens it is for a short time. Not sure what the deal with this place, but, if their intention is to serve the WV community they are failing badly. Food
Great little breakfast cafe and bakery. A wide variety of baked goods.
A warm and cozy place perfect for a cup of tea and a scone. Phenomenal paninis and soups. Highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu
The bread for the meatloaf sandwich was amazing! The meatloaf was very tasty and moist, just delicious. Loved it enough. I came back for breakfast 2 days later.
Great place for pastries and bake goods.. Breakfast is very good.. lots of lunch items too..
We came here for Mother s day brunch on the Saturday so it was less busy. A few people were there but still many open tables. We took a table for 4 by the window. We ordered 4 eggs Benny, a coffee, a mocha, a hot chocolate and a lemon San Pellegrino. The latter two drinks we took back to the table while we picked up the mocha and hot chocolate both with whipped cream after they were ready. They give you a pager which vibrates when your food order is ready. It vibrated in 15-20 minutes so the food was ready pretty fast. The eggs were cooked just the right amount still runny when broken. The English muffins were crispy and the ham with the potatoes all went really well together. The sourdough and multi-grain bread tasted great with the butter and strawberry jam. It was amazing! We can always count on a great meal here! Parking: We parked 1 block north on Haywood as there were spots there as Marine Drive is very busy. There were some parking garages on 24th but I was unsure if they were free or paid so I parked on Haywood.
Good selection of breakfast brunch lunch items served on freshly made breads and a selection of baked pies, bars, and cookies for dessert.
Great sandwich and sweet shop. If you are looking for a lunch spot or just a quick sweet ( pie ) a fantastic spot to try. Grilled Chicken sandwich is excellent.
Pastry was good but you are looking at an average of $5/pastry (i.e. muffin).
The ambience of the café is like a welcoming hug. The decor is a mix of rustic wood and green plants, creating a feeling of tranquility. The spacious tables and comfortable chairs invite people to stay and enjoy a good conversation or a moment of reading. In short, this café is a true healthy oasis in the midst of the daily hustle and bustle. Its commitment to quality products, exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere makes it a special place
At 6.25 for a Latte, it better be great. Nope. Basically an Americano with foam on top. Not impressed.
The best soda bread and scones in Vancouver!
The atmosphere is fantastic. We were lucky to be here during the day and specially on a sunny day. First time trying raspberry scones and I like it was very sweet (sugary) to my tastes. Coffees were okey since they are prepared in semi-automatic machine.
The cinnamon buns here are my favorite!
Eggs & Toast All day long! The best no-wifi spot in Vancouver. Great atmosphere to have a conversation screen-free. Made home tarts and the best sandwiches in West Vancouver. You have to try it!
Good service and friendly staff, but the cinnamon rolls are much smaller than they used to be. The charbroiled chicken sandwich was good too, but it was so soft that it didnt hold together very well. Overall good experience, but not quite the quality it used to be.
Great service, spacious, cosy, clean, freshly baked!
Nice place for breakfast or baked goods and coffee. Good service.
Bakery was good but the restaurant was a total let down. Bread and scones were delicious but I had the dog bowl (I think) and was not that good. No actual service provided. You have to seat yourself, pick up your own food and grab your own condiments. Cutlery is also at the other side of the room so it s a little bit of a quest to eat. Bakery portion is great tho, just order and go out for a walk
Stopped by The Bakehouse last Wednesday afternoon on the way to an appointment. Had never been before, although Id noticed the mid-block awning / covered outdoor seating many times while driving through Dundarave. The restaurant has amazing array of delicious baked goods, hot dishes made- to-order, and fresh sandwiches from scratch with all natural ingredients. Be sure to remember that they close abit earlier than other places: 3pm. The interior of this bakery - café is warm with spacious tables + seating. Outdoor seating is also available which is terrific for hot sunny Summer weather. Also interesting pieces of visual Art / paintings / photographs along the wall by local artists available for purchase. Great staff and welcoming atmosphere with friendly mainstreet-feel and delicious home-cooked flavors.
Excellent food! Excellent service! First time here, but definitely will come back!
This place has Great food amazing people and funny walls! Proper experience
good location and convenient
I havent been for breakfast but they have the best muffins in Vancouver and good coffee!
Honestly, everything I ve had from here has been amazing, it s a top quality bakery. They have the BEST scones ever made and offer delicious home made jam to have with them.
Had the grilled breaky sandwich, awesome
Very nice service, great breakfast options, great baked goods!
Fantastic sandwiches and baked goods seriously, try the baked goods!!
Wanted to try a place in Dunderave. My friend loved her eggs bennie. I had big bear breakfast with turkey sausage. Tomatoes were good. Other one had scrambled eggs. Good option size. Good dark roast coffee. Blonde woman with glasses was sweet and gave best customer service. She was great with all in the line. Would go back.
Very good dining
Amazing bread!
Fun place for good baked goods in the Dunderave area.
The staff are incredibly kind spirited, the food is amazing and I actually questioned if so wanted to share how great this place. Many others know how great this place is!
Cozy Dundarave bakery and coffee shop. To be honest it was much lower than what we expected.(specially the service) The service was slow and the vibe was not very welcoming. Baked goods and the French toast was great though. Food : 3/5 |
The place is solid with great soup and sandwiches and the daily soups are good. I recommend the egg salad sandwich on there multigrain bread. You can buy a loaf to take away with you.
Enjoy good old-fashioned home baking? Well come and enjoy a feast of delights, not only in baking, but homemade soups, pies, sandwiches. Even rainbow bread for kids. Extensive menu, art for sale on the wall, natural wood everywhere, comfy seats and food to satisfy every palate. My fav is half healthy hot cereal with cold milk and maple syrup. Has cranberries, flax and healthy oats and TLC. And the best cranberry scones in Vancouver, in my opinion. Try for yourself!
This beautiful and clean bakery looks like a heaven . We always visit the bakery in the morning for Muffin and hot drink. Muffins are well baked and decorated.(which makes it really hard to choose only one. Staff also are very welcoming and you will recieved 5 star attention and help from them all the time. I highely recomend this bakery .
Food was good but they have the door open so my moand I were cold....
I didn t like the turkey sausage. And it was dry, But I liked the good vibes in there. Nice paintings on the wall.
Lots of goodies to choose from. Great spot for breakfast/brunch.
I live in Dundrave and I go there once in a while. It has potential to be one of the good places for breakfast but it seems they have old management style and OMG the whole thing is very slowwww. The average time for you to get your breakfast like The Works is minimum 13 min if there is no customer, if they are busy then good luck...as I said could be a really good place but they need new management with different visions.
Not many veggie options, but a cute place in Dundarave. Lots of sweets to check out! Definitely worth checking out if youre in the area.
Great place. Loved the food
I entered by chance... It was delicious. Especially the sandwich bread...
So good! Great comfort food. The two of us tried the chicken pot pie, shrimp melt (on a curry baguette! Tasty) and we had to order more because it was so good. We ordered the meatloaf and mac + cheese in the same sitting. Everything was great. Well be back for the eggs benny and other items. See you tomorrow lol
Wow the bakehouse is amazing. Great healthy breakfast options and great service I will be back for more Great foods. Great coffees also.
I love the place and their food.
Good food
Absolutely LOVE everything about this place!! Kate and her team are incredible! Don t even get me started on how good the food is. The veggie panini is You truly feel like family when you walk in the door. This place just gained three more regulars! - Kelsey, Zac & Roo :)
Fast easy homestyle cooking. Food is cheap, quick and tastes decent overall. Very convenient when you are on the go a need a quick fix.
Food tastes like home-made goodies and even better. Cozy place and friendly staff, also has very delicious breakfast to start your day with.
Located in West Vancouver. Please give me one like
Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, delicious baked goodies. Send me your cornmeal lemon tart recipe please
Good breakfast/brunch. Really big portions.
Positively one of best places on earth for delicious food and fantastic staff. Recommend stopping in!
Delightful cafe with fresh homemade eats. My husband and I got a sandwich each, and they were both delicious thanks to the light and fluffy bread. Very reasonably priced, would recommend for an easy quick lunch.
Consistent, and friendly. Love it. The menu satisfies anyones taste. I recommend the eggs benedict.
Amazing service. Great food and all with many smiles from all the staff.
Delicious baked goods and super yummy sandwiches.
The Bakehouse is a Dundarave institution serving breakfast and lunch with fresh uncomplicated ingredients assembled with competence. For a fresh sandwich, baked goods or a simple breakfast I don t think it can be beat. Personal favorites include the HTLC (a healthier version of a BLT) and the Breakfast sandwich service with the appropriate brown sauce.
My name is Shaun and my wife and I drive from main and fifth in Vancouver for amazing sandwiches and the magical melting moments and the snickerdoodle cookies. Thank you for the Sour cherry tarts which are amazing too. Have a great day!! Look forward to see what kind of cookie will be named delicious Delights. Plus the staff are all amazing!!!
We came here to try their breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and had a great flavour.
Great Cafe
To expensive for me to be honest for what you get I personally wouldnt go back but do try it for yourself. DONT let my opinion detour you. That was just my experience. food was very testy Coffey wasnt nice I give 4 stars for the food quality and tast staff experience very polite just food was a little expensive for me is to why one star was left out
I ordered rosty breaky ana it was delicious
The best sandwichs in West Van! I love their fresh bakes pastries too
Love the place and really good service despite all that COVID has brought to that industry. Congratulations for having a lovely place for everyone!
I came here once and always wanted to come for more food, always missed their closing time by 5 mins...
UPDATE: The Bakehouse offered me a fresh pie, which I picked up today, to make up for the one I complained about because its pastry was raw. The new pie is delicious, and the pastry is not raw. Thank you, Kate at The Bakehouse! Yesterday, I purchased a Raspberry-Rhubarb pie for $27. The filling was delicious, but the pastry shell was not fully baked. Raw dough in the edging and raw bottom. Its odd that a so-called professional bakery charging $27 for a pie cant be bothered to partially pre-bake its pastry shells before adding the filling. I gave up on the pastry crust and ate the filling, but I threw out 1/4 of the pie because I was so angry about the pastry and didnt want it to upset my stomach. And, one of its longtime customers was not wearing a mask, even though he wasnt eating. His name is Dennis. More than once, I had to move away from him. Dennis just doesnt understand the concept of wearing a mask during COVID-19.
Great baked goods
Good selection!
Just waited 25 minutes for a grilled sandwich which needs 5 minutes grill time, asked once why its taking too long and they said its in the grill, asked second time after ten minutes and this time she came with my order and said just came out, and you guess what it was cold inside. People make mistakes and its ok but you dont need to lie just apologize respectfully.
No outlets, no wifi, mediocre espresso
Lovely
This is a nice breakfast place that opens early in the Dundarave neighbourhood. In addition to being able to grab and go, they offer quite a bit of inside and (for now) outside seating. They serve small baked goods, pies and other desserts, and more substantial breakfasts and sandwiches. Everything we had was tasty. If I lived in the area, I would make this a regular weekend destination. But I m my case, it was a perfect stop on the way to Whistler. I m addition to the food, they were selling prints and paintings of Vancouver scenes by local artists. I love seeing that community aspect in cafes and shops.
Found this gem of a spot on our Vancouver trip. We absolutely love it! Have gone back multiple times! Food is amazing, desserts are absolutely mouth-watering and service is always on point! Will recommend this place to everyone!
This place is great. I was on vacation in Vancouver and this café was the unofficial sponsor of my trip. Their food is really good and the service is really friendly. There is such a diverse sweets menu, I didnt have time to try them all!
Nice lunch menu variety, competitive prices, excellent quality, plus their pasties and sweets are to die for!
Was a good breakfast great atmosphere
Very good Delicious
Wonderful food and service
......just heavenly!!
Possibly the best carrot muffin Ive ever had
Delicious breakfast fresh bread Clean clean best customer service Strongly recommended
We made a quick stop for a small breakfast at the Bakehouse. The place is roomy with a nice open kitchen and a good menu, however the food was very average, and there was no uplifting spirit that you expect in a cafe. The place was boring with no charm. I love stopping at a cafe not only to get a drink, but to start my day with a splash of joy. With 5 people that we noticed working around the shop, the tables were not cleaned and until we asked them no one came by to wipe our table. I would have probably enjoyed picking up a small bite and coffee from any Starbucks in the area a lot more. I hope the owner takes my review in a constructive way and revisit their service and menu. This is a nice location and not much of competition around, and they can make it thrive for themselves and people visiting this place.
Be prepared for a long wait, this place is popular and because everyone orders from the main counter it takes time. The wait is worth it however as the food is delicious and staff are friendly.
Reasonable place to have breakfast and talk with people. when you have scones, you probably need jams. Coffee is great. But not gonna visit again.
Tasty treats !
Good food
Delicious food and great service.
We make the Bakehouse a mid-stop on our Saturday seawall walks. We always find the service friendly and welcoming. We are particularly fond of the Eggs Benny, the muffins and the coffee. The staffs hard work is evident in their delicious food and clean establishment. Their sense of humour is evident when they pull a rubber chicken to tell their staff that your order is ready. Great place! Lovely people. Good food.
I had a lovely brunch here over the weekend. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, so lines go rather quickly. The food was comforting and delicious - a lovely Benny and breakfast sandwich. Everything tasted really fresh and homemade, and portions were huge. There appears to be a bunch of baked good as well, but two mains between two people was enough food. The servers were really nice and helpful.
Good food nice place
We went there for brunch and couldn t get more disappointed. We went there for the high rating, but the potato was stale, the hollandaise sauce was below average, the toast was mediocre. It was the second worst benny I had in Vancouver. Only upside about this place was the friendly and nice staff. I, however, don t understand if they don t serve you, what the tip is for.
Breakfast was excellent!
Wow... The veggie sandwich was insanely good
Fabulous, baked, in house scones. I like the one with raisins, even tho I usually dont like raisins. Coffee also great. Light roast. Refills $1. Outdoor seating as well as indoor. Lovely place. Lovely owners.
Great half sandwich and home made beef and barley soup and ate outside at a table for two.
Came in for breakfast. While in line and while eating breakfast we noticed that they ask everyone for phone number because of covid. We are construction guys. We are the only one that were not asked. Why is that?.
Tasty veggie chili and veggie panini
Delicious, home baked goods. Mmmmm
Great staff and very delicious sandwiches! Just wished they had good wifi :)
Nice staff. Cozy and filled with friends and families. I got the grilled breakfast sandwich $9.50, add $1 for tomato and lettuce. Good sandwich size and ingredients. Tasty bread! Housemade herb sourdough. Only downside was they had single-use takeaway cups as their water glasses and they only have one trash bin for everything, no recycling and compost. It could be temporary, but if permanent, I didnt agree with that. Thx!
Good, real food. Leave your low carb diet at the door.
Delicious, beautiful! Perfect breakfast, quick or slow. Well be back for sure!
Holy moly their sandwiches are amazing. Fresh bread, pastries....yum! Highly recommended
I used to live very close to this place, and had to move. But anytime Im close by, I try to drop by for their grilled chicken sandwich and grilled cheese sandwich. They make their own bread and it is the star of their sandwiches, you cant get anything like them anywhere else. All their pastries are baked fresh everyday, and their coffee is decent as well. You can tell that the employees there love their jobs, they always have a smiling face.
It was a very nice place for us so far but from today on it won t be anymore. We ordered a soup and we didn t like the taste of it. Telling so to the staff, she took it and rudely said you need to pay for another one without trying to make us satisfied by giving another soup. She threw it out and we were expecting some one to come and make it up but strangely she didn t come to our table even to apologize!
A solid quality brunch and lunch spots. A favorite for weekend breakfasts in West Van.
Food was ok but the service was a little slow and its always crowded / noisy. The staff seem stressed the few times we went for breakfast.
Good food and friendly staff; unfortunately its in West Van
Wonderful sandwiches and soups. It is very friendly and casual--a great place to pop in fir a treat, too.
Nice comfort food. Great for kids too.
If you want a coffee refill here be prepared. Nobody brings around a carafe. There is no urn from which you can pour yourself one. Never having been here before I foolishly go to the counter and ask for a refill. I am told that I must join the order line of several people who have just come in. As the line is long I return to my table sans coffee. After a few minutes I see the line is smaller so I wait I the line. I discover that $30 for two does not get you a free refill. $1.05 poorer I take my coffee. Im told I have to wait because the people in line complain about cutting in. Ill let others here tell you about the positives. Id come back if it werent for the inconsideration in this simple matter.
Great food
Fresh ingredients cooked with care and love. Really enjoyed brunch today at the Bakehouse in Dundrave Village. A local rustic cafe/restaurant with great coffee and a wide range of breakfast and brunch options. I enjoyed the Farmhouse brunch plate today which included 2 perfectly poached eggs , a turkey sausage, baked potatoes and half a carrot muffin on the side (which I thought was a really nice touch). Cant wait to go back and try the baked Brie and their paninis
Only thing on menu fried is eggs, fresh baked goodies daily very polite ,hard working staff
The bread and soup are so delicious.
Pricey coffee.
Great Foods excellent service Pleasant environment would definitely eat there again
Amazing place. Great food and relaxing ambience.
Good food; friendly service.
Cosy after a cold hike, and there was some yummy chocolate sauce on that hot chocolate! Easy to walk down to the water from there too. Id like to go back and try the fruit pie!
Eggs Benedict was great, hollandaise sauce was amazing
Fantastic sandwiches and baked goods. A must visit if in the area.
Amazing bakery in Dundarave, West Van. Great way to start a Sunday!
If you want to have a fantastic sandwich and soup that is entirely homemade with bread that is ultra fresh and finish it off with a dessert to die for this is the place to come. One of West Vancouver is little hidden GEMS!
Love this place. Just a little pricey
We buy Christmas cake and Panettone from this bakery. After walking along Marine Dr. to decide where we should have lunch, we ended up here because of the fruit pies on display. I couldn t decide between a turkey sandwich and chicken pot pie. The server recommended the pot pie. I ordered mine with a side salad. Well, they have redefined chicken pot pie. I m used to seeing pot pies that look like the content was heated so well that it spilled outside the bowl making the pie/croissant pastry stick to the bowl. The pastry on this one was not pie/croissant like, it is more like a flaky cookie lid on top of the soup bowl the kind of dish you see from a sandwich shop with no real kitchen. The taste of the chicken soup was fine, there were no big chunks of chicken, just bits and pieces cut up so small that it was hard to get the impression that I was really eating a chicken pot pie. The consistency was fine, not too soupy. We ve tasted better though. Turkey sandwich next time or the pub.
Had the dogs breakfast which is a little cheaper between 8-11. Eggs, vegetable, sausage scramble, fried potatos, and toasted baked bread. The toast was amazing with butter and jam Also had pumpkin cake which I thought was carrot at first and loved it. The dark roast coffee was also very nice here.
Always an amazing experience! Delicious food all made in house friendly staff relaxed atmosphere. A real real home from home ! Just remember, they close at 4 PM.
Gotta love the food. Homemade cooking, fresh baked bread and goodies plus much more
Good place to stop by and have a quick bite. Good soups, sandwiches and cakes.
Great pie! It is not as sugary as some of the other pie companies.
Decent food...logistical nightmare. Seat yourself and other than the food brought to you its a figure it out for yourself place. No free refills for coffee and you have to stand in line again to even do that. Cutlery housed in filthy trays dried with spilled coffee and caked on crumbs of many kinds and colors...so I opted for disposable instead. Asked for peanut butter for my toast but nope, dont have it. Coffee condiments stored by the front door if you can manage to squeeze through the people in line waiting to order. Water there also but room temperature. Main meal was passable but definitely not worth the price or inconvenience. It has potential but too many simple and key components missing...fix those and Id consider a different rating.
The Adult Mac n Cheese was horrible...Too greasy and watery! Very bland so I had to put so much salt in it. I could not eat more than half of it cause it was too greasy and oily, It was disgusting so I decided to let one of the employees that this is not how it supposed to be and she said YEAAA, ITS JUST TOO CHEESY So I left the plate on the counter and left. Very Disappointed in Management for poor customer service
My coworkers and I always get a friendly smile and prompt service when we come here. Great sandwiches with fresh baked bread! And if you like pie, its a must!
Really good bread
Brunch menu was ok, the Benedict sauce lacks flavour. Coffee was great.
Great food. Love the rainbow bread!
It is my Favourite located in the rustic settings of Dundarave village home made Canadian style cooking, freshly baked breads, pies are awesome. It is very cosy restaurant has the best food. Great family place for brunch or lunch. Do not forget to try fresh baked sourdough bread & cinnamon buns.It is great place to eat regularly because they have many choices, you never bored.
