1850 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, BC V7V 1J6, Canada
Long-running family-style brunch restaurant, we opened our doors in the early 2000s. Featuring homemade classics like egg benedicts, pancakes and waffles. Come say hi!
You know what pisses me off more than disappointment? Laziness. Their menu states they serve Persian "Sangak" bread. They don't. What is irritatingly stupefying here is that there is a Persian Bakery right across the street from them. With their approximately 10 seater dining table and 5 staff on hand someone could've done what?.....Yes!...jumped across the street to the bakery and stocked up on the bread they promised the customer on their menu before opening....Or am I just crazy? Well...I guess if they had done that....they wouldn't have had the time to giggle about it in the back like little school girls. Moving on...... The French Toast - Undercooked & doughy in the middle. Way too bare and unimpressively lacking in presentation. I mean you're paying for these dishes. I've had my 10 year old nephew make better French Toast. The bacon was tasty and the coffee was decent....even came in a cute little cup. So, that's something.... Breakfast Burrito - Good for an appetizer...Oh wait...it was an entree dish....enough said. Fancy Benedict - No, it wasn't fancy...that's the name of the dish ironically. It was cold, the salmon lacking and clearly someone's first attempt at making a Benny. The Service - We had to ask for everything. There was an underlying impatience with our server....like we were keeping her from something. Finally someone else came by with more coffee. Not the end of the world, but not charming either. This place reminded me of a first year medical student trying to do brain surgery. Education, Experience, Commitment. Then open your doors.
Cozy little cafe in the heart of West Vancouver. The food was delicious and the homemade salad dressing is delightful. Amazing service and beautiful decor!!!
I got Fancy benny and green smoothie. Both of them were so delicious. The service was great. They also offered us a delicious pumpkin pie because of thanksgiving:) It's a nice cosy brunch place. I recommend it.
The food was great, the service people were nice but they were lacking the demand and the restaurant wasn't ready for repeated power outages. They knew that it is happening very often but haven't planned for a power generator or battery.
Fantastic brunch! We had the waffles and the green benny. Both were excellent. Fair prices. Great service. I would definitely be a regular if I lived near here.
Got here after a hike. It was packed but still had room for me and my friends. Ordered their french toast with eggs and turkey sausage. It was a filling breakfast. Had free flowing syrup.
We recently visited Cindy’s Caffe for a late breakfast, and it was an outstanding experience. We ordered the Belgian waffles with fruits, Fancy Benny eggs with salmon, and coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious! The waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, topped with fresh, vibrant fruits. The Fancy Benny eggs with salmon were cooked to perfection, and the flavors melded together beautifully. The coffee was rich and aromatic, providing the perfect complement to our meal. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was warm and attentive. We will definitely be returning to Cindy’s Caffe for another delightful meal!
I am glad to found this brunch place and I was surprised by the mothers’ day specials: live music, gifts for both me and my son, and a free coffee. My son loves Belgium Waffle. Fruits and whipped cream are perfect combinations.
Really tasty Traditional Eggs Benedict!!
Wonderful food very fresh and plentiful without being too much. Quality first. Merci
I recently returned to Cindy s after many years, aware that it was under new ownership. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food quality was mediocre at best, and the service was poor. At a breakfast place, coffee should be served promptly, but it took 15 minutes to receive any drinks, including the coffee. The kitchen also appeared to be understaffed, as it took over an hour for our food to arrive. I had been looking forward to coming back, but unfortunately, I won t be returning.
Salaaam everyone This cafe restaurant is one of the bests in West Van , cozy, clean, positive vibes, lovely staff and of course food and drink are great, totally worth it to spend your time and enjoy a healthy good looking meal with friends and family So definitely recommend Thanks Cindy s Noora
Breakfast was very tasty, the coffee is also really good
New owners since I came last. Easily the best brunch in Ambleside. My kids loved their waffles and french toast. Will come back soon!! Kid-friendliness: My two kids loved this place and want to come back.
I am a long time resident of west van and anyone who knew this place before would be disappointed. The server was friendly but unattentive and on her phone. The place used to be quaint and authentic and now it s just like everywhere else modernized, huge screen tv (playing chill beach vibes with women in bikinis and butts in your face- not too kid friendly) mediocre food (verry salty). Overall mediocre experience. My 6 4 Dutch husband with hollow legs left food on his plate cause he couldn t eat it- that should tell you something.
This place needs better ingredients for the food. The bacon / sausages are not good , no taste and the butter on the toast doesn t taste like butter either. The presentation / service / atmosphere is good. But the food needs work.
We had a family Sunday Brunch ! I had Fancy egg Bennys and cappuccino! So delicious service was great! Attentive services! Made our family time!
Very meh food and experience, smoothies were the best part.
Cindys - Flavor and Freshness at Its Best Cindys offers an unparalleled brunch experience with incredibly fresh and high-quality dishes. Every bite is packed with exceptional flavors, showcasing the care and attention given to selecting ingredients. If youre looking for food that is both delicious and fresh, Cindys is the perfect choice
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great experience. Overall, Cindy s exceeded all expectations.
Great food, great service .We definitely come back.
I recently visited this restaurant for brunch, and I had an amazing experience! The service was outstanding everyone was so friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the meat bennies! I also loved the Halloween gift they gave out; it was such a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great brunch spot. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Great food, lovely staff Highly recommend Parking: Easy to park
great service, everyone was very friendly and attentive . food very good , cozy place. really enjoyed it.
Its one of the best local brunch places in North Shore! Very tasteful and high-quality ingredients! Their bennys and smoothies are highly recommended! Kid-friendliness: Yes they had treats for kids!
Great foods and friendly staff!
I passed by this place before and it was packed. So I gave it a try . Ordered a classic French toast and it was truly disappointed. It s like three pcs of toasts with almost no eggs on it and a thin layer of cinnamon like jam on it. Served w one piece of strawberry and a small plate of jam. And it s $15.99 for three pcs of toast . My husband ordered an egg Benedict and it s like $18.99 it s alright like a normal Benedict, nothing special. Not cheap. Don t think I will go back again.
Incredibly good service, atmosphere, and food! I had the mediterranean omlett, and my people had the fresh toast! Everything was beautiful and the staff was very attentive and kind. (No approaching during mouthfuls!) Would reccomend, family friendly and they have high chairs for the Littles. They were very kind to a tourist family, and took their time listing to them and getting their order correct.
The customer service at Cindy s is what truly stands out! Not only are the food and coffee delicious, but the staff were also amazing. They treated our children so nicely after a perfectly cooked brunch with an extra special treat. Sonia also went above and beyond and made sure to mail something precious I had accidentally left behind! Couldn t have asked for better!
First thing I noticed here was that the water smelled awful. I m not sure if it s the glass or the water itself. My partner said it s because they use unfiltered water. I literally had to hold my breath while drinking it. We ordered keto benny and sunny dish at brunch but felt the food was very bland. The taste is simple and homemade, but we also felt most breakfasts we make at home would be more flavorful. When my dish said it came with tomato , I was expecting grilled tomato, but it was 2 little cherry tomatoes. The avocado was hard and not quite ripe. Don t think we will be back.
Great vibe and food
We hosted breakfast at Cindys for 12 guests between our wedding ceremony and reception. They were so hospitable. The food came within 15 minutes at the same time for all 12 guests, and was warm and delicious. Thank you so much for having us - we will be back!
Very average.
Very nice, cozy place. All the staffs are very nice and accommodating to kids and babies.
Cute local place with good service and delicious food! Some seating available outside. Street parking is usually available.
The service was absolutely fantastic. As soon as I walked into this place I immediately fell in love with it. The decore was beautiful. When my food came out my eyes almost popped out of my head. It looked so tasty! I definitely recommend this place for people who have come here for vacation or are locals who want to go to a Cafe.
Food had no taste, ordered a breakfast burrito w potatoes - even potatoes were cold and tasteless. I would definitely not visit again.
This is not to bash the restaurant in anyway, but its way overpriced for what is the equivalent of a Dennys meal without the unlimited fries or portion sizing. Check the menu prices before you go - everything is basically $20 after tax (excluding tip and drink). For those prices, I was expecting breakfast dishes that I cant make on my own. Even Earls on Ambleside with the beach view is cheaper and tastes better.
Very good service and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.
Service and food were great. Serving sizes were a bit small, not many potatoes with the eggs Benny but overall great tasting, wish there were more.
Wonderful food, quaint and clean. Friendly service and a great place for a quality meal!
Was very excited to have brunch here as the reviews were great! Unfortunately, service was slow (20min wait for food). We had to ask for cutlery and the food was bland. Although it wasnt that busy, our waiter never checked in with us. They have a lovely guitarist, but at times, it was too loud to hear my partner across from me. It felt overcrowded given the size. Most people had to squeeze into their seats. Our orange juice was amazing and the aesthetic is cute!
Visiting from T.O. and glad we found this quaint and pretty little place. Excellent quality of service and food!
Thankyou!!!!
The food was so delicious!!!!!!!! i ordered belgian waffle and mideterrian omelete. i was 10/10. The service 10/10 the vibe 10/10 Food
A lovely friendly diner, with live music this morning
We are happy we found this little spot , we are here for a short trip and we came back a second time, food and service is great
Nice place, great food.
Our first time at Cindy s in West Vancouver, food was great, as were the cheerful and helpful staff. We visited on Father s Day and each man was given a Father s Day gift which was much appreciated. Thank you, we will be back.
Food was excellent, lovely place!
One of the best eggs benedict I had in a long time. Lovely service as well!
Cute and cozy little brunch spot with amazing food! Have been here a few times now. Their pancakes, egg benedict, and omlettes are amazing! Highly recommend!
Cozy little cafe with good food and homey vibes
Had the lovely sausage plate and it was delicious. Good ambiance and service as well!
Great place for brunch. The new owner is very nice and the fancy eggs benedict was super delicious! We will definitely come back!
Cute place and best egg Benny ever
I loved the food and cozy , delicious... Cindys is one of those spots that you can easily overlook unless you are in the know. Food
Have not been here in a while and was pleasantly impressed with the food quality and service! Appears to be under new ownership and happy to support them!
One of the best place I ve ever been there! So friendly and I love it!
Ive been having brunches in Cyndi since I moved to West Vancouver. However, today I went there for breakfast and had a bad surprise with the quality of the Benedict eggs. The eggs were light and the hollandaise sauce had no flavor; in addition, the muffins were not roasted as described on the menu. I recommend that the new managers take care of a few hours to review the ingredients and the issue of making food.
I really didnt want to leave a review as I understand the owners have better intentions. However not one of the items we ordered came properly done by the cook. From a simple toast to sunny side eggs that were very hard to over easy eggs that were burned around the edges. The server tried her best but this cook needs to learn how to cook breakfast items
Everything is perfect
Loved the food, staffs were very kind and hospitable
Great breakfast with lovely people
We got three different dishes and they all tasted great. Coffee was surprisingly great too. Service was excellent. Place is small but felt cozy and homy. Wife had eggs benny and said they were just perfect which is hard to find in many restaurants. Vegetarian options: I saw vegetarian and keto dishes in the menu but didnt try them. Though everything we had was great. Parking: Street 2h free parking Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly
Stopped by for brunch and had the best eggs Bennys I had in a while Belgium waffles and shakshuka were amazing too!! Great service, 5 stars to the Chief! Thank you!
Best breakfast ever, quality foods and service .
My first restaurant 2023, good food, good service and good vibes for kicking off 2023
Vegetarian options: Keto stuff on the menu
This place is absolutely delightful for the hours is open. The food is very good quality , whatever you re tasting feels like on any day, the atmosphere is charming and relaxing. Its got the character of West Vancouver!!!
They have the best pancakes in town! Great service and family friendly
Absolutely delicious pancakes and great service
We were looking for an afternoon coffee and this came up as a nearby option. We thought it was just a coffee shop but it seems to be more of a breakfast joint. It was 40 minutes before they close at 3pm and we were the only customers. They asked us to pick a seat and we ordered coffee and then, to support a small empty business, decided to order something to eat as well. In short, the soup was clearly microwaved. It was lukewarm but the bottom of the bowl was piping hot (like microwaves do). Probably my fault for ordering soup in an empty restaurant but still poor standards nonetheless. Coffee was fine, salad was fine. Nothing to write home about here.
Great, cozy, friendly, and welcoming café
Very tasty !!!
This place loves to boast about being a 5 star reviewed restaurant, but this place is far off from being anything close to 5 stars. Hospitality / Friendliness 2/5: essentially took our order and gave us our bill. Spent the whole time looking out the window probably wondering why the restaurant was empty. Food 1/5: Cheap ingredients, Poor quality bread, poor quality bacon, store bought pancake mix, over cooked poached eggs, overcooked scrambled eggs, stale cold hash browns with a hair in it. When your 7 year old says the scrambled eggs are over cooked, you know it s not good. Value: Poor. For the $85 breakfast bill, we would ve been better off eating at Denny s. We love to support local and we were hoping we found a good option with Cindy s, unfortunately that wasn t the case. Perhaps the locals have had a different experience in the past, but I won t be back. Not trying to be discourteous, but it s not 5 star, far from it.
Nice crew Recommend their breakfast
Cindys is a very nice quaint coffee shop with great coffee and good service. I didnt have a meal but the meals looked really really nice.
super food , nice staff recommend to everyone...
Cozy local breakfast, super tasty and friendly people Highly recommended
A cozy Cafe The environment is very warm and pleasant , the staff were really nice... breakfast was perfect. I will definitely go again
Lovely local spot for breakfast. Food was so good and service was friendly. Glad we decided to stop in!
The food here is simply terrible. The pancakes are clearly from a box, the back bacon on the benny was basically deli sliced ham, the hollandaise sauce was from a bottle. The shakshuka was somehow dry. I would love to recommend a small local business, but I also feel that people should know the food here is bad.
Would not recommend going here. We were the only people in the restaurant and the server still didn t come to check on us unless called over. Food took ~30 minutes Reminder, we were the only people there. Prices were completely disproportionate to the quality of dishes. Food itself was not good at all either. Eggs were overcooked and wet. I ordered the Sunny breakfast and it came with mushrooms instead of the advertised avocado, which I do not like. Came with wet, tasteless spinach too. If you re looking for a nice breakfast in West Vancouver, go somewhere else. Will not be returning.
Delicious bennies and coffee. This place left a very positive impression, and I d be happy to come back next time when visiting West Vancouver.
Dont want to say too much in case this was just a bad day but things did not flow here with service today resulting in one member of our party having to take her breakfast to go after wed all eaten. Disappointed as this place did review quite well.
A real gem of a place in West Vancouver, the quality of the food is outstanding, including waffles, pancakes and egg bennies. My favorites are the fancy benny with salmon and the Belgian waffles. Prices are quite reasonable for lunch and breakfast. The people who serve are also very polite and friendly and will do their best to accommodate requests.
Looking for a fast and delicious breakfast? Give this place a try! Staff are friendly and cheerful. However, if you re looking for a fancy atmosphere, this might not be the place for you. It s worth a visit if you don t mind a bit of oil in your food.
Note: service is slow. Go there with a loved one for a long romantic chat. Don t arrive too hungry. Plan for 1 to two hours minimum. Atmosphere is perfect and food is great.
Great pancakes, Yummy Shakshuka, made us feel like home Thank you for a wonderful breakfast experience Food
I d love to be supportive and write a good review but based on how long I waited for my food, and how tasteless it was when it finally arrived, I feel have to be honest with my feedback and let everyone and the owners know of my experience. I will not be coming back but if anyone s into bland unseasoned breakfast then this place is for you.
The food was good, portion size is less. Vegetarian options: For egg eaters and non egg eaters there are options. Food : 4/5 |
Didnt stay. Ants were crawling on table.
Fancy Eggs Benedict was so delicious Vegetarian options: Tofu scramble sounded good! Dietary restrictions: They have oat milk!
We went there for brunch, and if theres a score of zero, Ill score it with a zero. The food is so low that you wont even have a full stomach, the special sausage sandwich doesnt taste good, and they use Kirkland sausages. At the same time, charging that kind of little portion of food was expensive.
Loved the overall vibe and good food. Very friendly service. Will definitely visit again.
Cozy place with friendly staff and super cool vibes, freshest food you could have with incredibly big portions highly recommended and will visit again .
Decided to give this place a try. I ordered french toast eggs, bacon. Hubby ordered classic Benny. Two tables ordered ahead of us. We waited almost 50 minutes and my hubbys order was wrong they offered to fix it but we didnt want to wait so we shared my meal.french toast was made with the heel of the loaf. Very disappointed. Management comped the meal but we wont be back.
Lovely keto options!
We came just before noon and the place was busy, but the young server was very good. She looked after all the orders, was very accommodating with the mobility scooter, even filling our travel mug with ice. The food was good and reasonably priced.
We stopped for breakfast and it was DELICIOUS! Brunch French toast was superb. Can sit indoors or out. Service was fantastic.
A very calm and inviting atmosphere, nice and friendly staff. We really enjoyed spending time at the restaurant and food was great!
I ordered brunch it s so yummy I strongly recommend to try food here. Food
Vegetarian options: Cozy place with friendly staff and delicious breakfast!! Highly recommended! Food
The place is quaint with only seating for about 30. There is one bathroom in the back that is a little challenging to get to as you have to navigate around a highchair and extra chairs. Someone in a wheelchair would not be able to get in. We found the open door cold at our back (crazy given how hot this summer has been) and, also, the table full of people next to us was really loud making it hard for us to hear one another. We were grateful they let us move. I ordered classic French toast, my partner eggs Benny, and mom got 1 scrambled egg, 2 slices of bacon, and toast. I had coffee, and they each had tea. My partner ordered an extra side of toast that never came. It wasnt on the bill, so we didnt say anything. The bill came to $70. Overall, the food was hot and fresh. It was good but nothing exceptional.
This place is a little gem in West Vancouver. Wonderful service with awesome food. Food
The food is just as the rating below average it took around an hour to get to our table some of it was missing ingredients that were listed on the menu and the potato s were cold. The prices are also way to expensive for the portion sizes, if your thinking of going here go to oeb or a different breakfast spot not worth it.
Came here with my family while we were on vacation. The service was HORRIBLE. They took other peoples orders who got there after us. They didn t bring us water for like 15 minutes. And the food was disgusting. The potatoes were rock hard, dry, no seasoning. The French toast literally had no flavor. The food was bland, dry, and disgusting.
Cute little place in West Vancouver that didnt come up the first time I looked up breakfast spots. The service and food were very good. However they do not have to many tables so if its busier than you may be in for a wait. I had a the pancakes and loved them.
Cosy place, delicious food, healthy ingredients, I wish I had discovered this place sooner :)
The food was cold, small portions and pricey $$$$ There s better places to spend $100 on a simple 4 person breakfast.
Went here today this place is so plain not energy staff today r so plain n boring they dont make u feel welcomed the food was horrible definitely had no flavor for the food
It s a cute and cozy cafe with great foods Perfect for having a nice brunch with your friends or family Food
It is the best place for breakfast and a good start to the day
Delicious food, kind service, cute and comfy vibe.
A nice little place to grab a bite to eat. The portions are a bit small but the food is very good. The only thing I would suggest is to add a side to the sandwiches as they are on the smaller size but have no side included. The coffee is hit or miss, it was a bit sour one time and good another.
Thank you soooooo much
This is the most average breakfast you will ever find. The people are nice but the food is not great and very over priced for what you get.
I chose this place over Denny s or Cora s because I wanted to support small business. I also trusted its rating of 4.2 stars and I was so disappointed. Service was poor we were seated for ten minutes and they did not even give us menus so we just looked up the menu online. When we finally placed our order, it took a long time to arrive. The food was subpar. I ordered pancakes and my nephews ordered waffles. Both were overcooked. The syrup they provide doesn t taste like real maple syrup. The toast that came with the meal didn t look like it had been toasted because the butter on it didn t even melt. My brother-in-law ordered eggs and sausage on a hot plate and the sausage looked like jumbo hotdogs sliced up and placed on the plate. Was that what they were supposed to be? If one person s order didn t turn out, I can accept that, but when 5 out of 6 orders don t come out right, that s a sign this place isn t as good as the reviews suggest.
Worst customer service ever! Food was horrible! Not recommended
The food quality at this place is shockingly poor; its so bad that even giving it a single star feels overly generous. The taste is simply terrible, and when you try their dishes, its a huge disappointment. Its hard to believe how unsatisfactory the food is. I strongly advise against dining here, as its far from deserving even the lowest rating.
The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the house coffee was fresh and flavorful. I would definitely recommend.
Food is delicious and big size. A warm and welcoming place for family and friends.
The food at Cindys was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I cant wait to come back!
The best breakfast I ever had
Standard fare, good service, no complaints on food
Great food, quiet enough to have a conversation which gets it 5 stars all round in our circle!
Taste was so good and fresh, friendly environment and cozy
Cozy, cool, delicious Highly recommended Food
I dont usually write negative reviews, but I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. My friend and I ordered the Shakshuka, but what arrived was just a watery mess of tomatoes and eggs. When we asked the server what it was, they insisted that this was the Shakshuka. However, it looked nothing like the picture in the menu. The server didnt even bring enough bread for the dish and said wed be charged extra if we wanted more. It was honestly the worst breakfast Ive ever been served. The tomatoes and onions looked completely raw and cold, as if they had just been swimming in tomato juice rather than cooked into an actual meal. We tried to provide feedback that this was not what we expected, but the staff was completely dismissive and unwilling to acknowledge any issues. I would not recommend eating here if you expect reasonably prepared food and decent customer service.
For sure it s one of my all time favorite spot! Their cozy location and wonderful delicious meals!! Comparing to lots of brunch spots it is the best! Highly recommended! You go there once and you can t stop going back there
I am in love with Cindy s! First visit here. I came for the KETO BENNY if you don t mind. Surpassed my expectations. On top of that, the service is impeccable. Fresh coffee regularly refilled, relaxing and happy vibe, great location. I will definitely be a regular. Thank you so much.
Cindy s is one of those spots that you can easily overlook unless you re in the know. It s retained its homely vibe and personality, while West Vancouver has evolved. Food is excellent, perfect pancakes and thick maple syrup! Lovely people and great service, I recommend you visit.
Healthy brunch choices and great customer service, highly recommend this place
Weve been going to Cindys for years and have never been disappointed with the food and friendly service.
Great experience, friendly stuff, healthy and delicious breakfast Go-to place for a quick breakfast and lunch!
This is absolutely our favourite To go Spot for breakfast and brunch! Great food, Great quality and very nice staff! Highly Recommended
Wonderful!
Friendly staff and delicious food in a relaxed and pleasant environment.
We went to Cindys with my wife for breakfast, We really enjoy the healthy breakfast, delicious and best customer service as well. I encourge you should go and try it.
Cute jam, delicious coffee, great service.
I have been here a couple of times but wont go back. The pictures of the food posted on the Google search for this place bear no resemblance to the food that we were served. Decor is drab despite a few nice vintage Vancouver prints on the wall. No real ambiance at all. Service was okay but our server seemed a little less than friendly. We ordered two dishes. The regular eggs Benedict and the meat and eggs skillet. The Benedict was served on a completely untoasted and unbuttered, dry and chewy English muffin. The hash browns were clearly from frozen, not fresh cut, and barely seasoned. No slice of fruit on the plate as pictured. No diced green onions as pictured. The meat skillet was a joke. Two eggs on top of a cut up Weiner, not a breakfast sausage, and two uncooked cherry tomatoes cut in half. I didnt taste my sons Hollandaise sauce but Id suspect it too was from a package, not fresh made. It really felt like the kind of food kids would make at home on a parents birthday, not meals worthy of $15-17 each. Ive sincerely had better and more creative breakfast at a truck stop or Ikea. Was this place good ones and its changed ownership or just slid downhill? I dont know. But judging by my two visits this is probably one of the less appealing options in West Vancouver.
Cozy spot, awesome service and delicious food.
Absolutely delish breakfast in a cozy location. Waffles bacon and eggs cooked to perfection!
Finally found a cozy spot to have an amazing breakfast/brunch with my friends Sussage pan tastes like heaven!!Coming with cute pan which keeps your food nice and warm for a while. We also tried Shakshuka omelette which was very tasty. If you prefer to have sweet brunch with a cup of tea, I highly recommend waffles Well done Cindys!
Fantastic restaurant. Great service and really nice decor. I decided to go with Shakshuka with beef sausage which was fabulous. Plates were perfect and well presented. Happy that there finally is a Classic upscale restaurant in West Vancouver. Looking forward to many more visits. They have an outside patio which will be great in the summer.
worst service ever
THE BEST COFFEE AND BEST PLACE FOR COFFEE!!
Good food. Good service. But please stop using single-use packets of ketchup and mustard. Its terrible for the environment and you must be sending hundreds to the landfill every week.
Cozy setting, amazing service, great flavours and good portions (although it may not look it)
Very pleasant atmosphere and really good food
Delicious Breakfast! I got the breakfast burrito and it was
Eggs Benedict was super yummy, as was the French toast. Potatoes on side were plain but otherwise amazing food
Years come and years go and Cindy s is still a charming place for breakfast and lunch. The place is small and needs some love but in general is quite nice. The restaurant is clean and quiet.. for people like me that likes quiet. The service is great and fast and their food is very very good. For us is a fantastic place for eggs Benedict.. they are always perfect and tasty. We go back often and we ll continue to do so.
Cute little place, but my partners eggs (in the sausage pan dish) were very undercooked, the whites were raw on top. He felt very ill after our meal. Our server never asked how he wanted them done either. Very unfortunate, as my omelet was adequate, and the sourdough toast with the cute little raspberry jam that came in a tiny jar was delicious.
good food and amazing service
We enjoyed breakfast here. Like seemingly everywhere, they were busy and could have used an extra staff member. But overall, the service was good and they worked hard.
I ordered pastrami and it was really yummy also the design was perfect
The food was very delicious. Staff was friendly.
Good choice for a not so big Choices
My Fiancée treated us to some Skipp, so we tried Cindys. We ordered some breakfast. The Fiancée and i ordered classic benny and the breakfast burrito and our daughter ordered scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. First appearance opening our take out boxes had my mouth drop, as it looked good but the portions looked tiny. What is this a meal for ants lol. After eating it, i think it was a good portion as I wasnt crying around i was too full lol. Classic benny - Was Delicious, eggs cooked just perfectly. only complaint maybe a bit more wedges lol. Breakfast burrito - we stepped out of our comfort zone with this one and it was Delicious. Was like a little Mexican fiesta party of flavors. once again only complaint maybe a bit more wedges lol. Scrambled eggs - my kid is picky and she loved them. nice and fluffy. Sausage - Our daughter ate them so must have been good! Pancakes - They were nice and fluffy. Dad finished them off, as they are not being wasted it was that good!! overall very happy with the wonderful flavors Cindy has created! Would definitely order from here again.
Great for pancakes and waffles. Absolutely delicious. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
Had a lovely Fathers Day brunch with my girls. Great food.
The food was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend! It is kind of a small place so you may have a 10-15 min wait depending on what time you go.
Me and my uncle decided to go to this cute place on a whim and a quick Google search. Even though we didnt get to meet Cindy, we became quick acquaintances with the lovely lady behind the counter. We enjoyed her accent and learned she hails from Germany, one of my favorite international layover places. The place was clean. After our drive from Seattle, the bathroom was welcoming and did not look like it would eat me alive. The music being played was nice. The menu items were simple and easily substituted. I ordered a Mediterranean omelet with smoked salmon and no tomatoes while my uncle ordered a waffle with eggs over medium, sausage and added a few strips of bacon. We both noted how strong the coffee was yet enjoyed the change from American style coffee that can come watered down depending on where you go. Ill gladly return to this establishment because of the warm, inviting atmosphere and organically friendly conversations the staff had with me and my uncle.
Sat there for 10 minutes and got zero service.
Food was amazing. Service was terrible.
Awesome food and very friendly staff, wi definitely visit again when in the area
Like breakfast at home without the effort, friendly service, delicious food
So very wonderful. Great staff and awesome energy ! Arrived at 10:30 on a sunny Saturday and got a table for 7 Right away. I ll be back
Delicious avocado toast with poached eggs and salad. Friendly and attentive service.
i wanted to write that cindys is the best cafe in west vancouver. I ordered meat benny for breakfast and it was wonderful and super tasty. I recommend this cafe to everyone.
A beautiful cafe with excellent food
Definitely overpriced for what you get! Lunch sandwiches range from $11-$14! The $14 pastrami sandwich is tiny and come with absolutely nothing on the side. It definitely won t fill the average appetite! Their green salad is nothing special! Comes in a small bowl at an additional cost of $11. In other words, you get a tiny sandwich and a side-size salad for $25! You can get a huge meal for this price at most other moderate priced restaurants. This is a small, basic cafe. Breakfasts looks decent but more pricy! Have tasted their soup in the past and it lacked flavour. Serving staff are pleasant!
Always delicious!! My favorite eggs benny!!
My son had an early soccer game. Kick off was 8:30am. After the game we went for brunch at Cindys. Its a very small, cozy Cafe. Place was bright and clean. Including the bathroom. Staff was friendly and food was delicious. My son loved the hot chocolate as it was chocolate milk heated. You can taste the difference to say powdered as some restaurants serve. The French toast was packed with flavor and the fruits were fresh and sweet. Great spot to grab a bite if youre in the area!
Very friendly and kind service. The diner was very clean and cozy. The food was really good as well.
I love this place. The food was magnificent and the servers very friendly and respectful
The two ladies were super nice! My girlfriend loved the sausage pan, service was greaaat!
I paid 5 dollars for a gross sausage that was cut in half and they tried to pass it off as two separate sausages. i feel genuinely after eating the eggs benedict with salmon. my friends breakfast wrap also made her feel sick and the eggs tasted like instant scrambled eggs you get at costco. nice service(kinda). horrible food. avoid.
I like this place a lot, so cozy and people there are so friendly and respectful, The food is great and lovely
Very less quantity for a $16 Benny. They charged $4 for an extra toast of bread. Wouldnt recommend at all. Waitress was nice 2stars just for her.
Great and cozy place, makes you feel like breakfast is truly the start to your day. Calm, polite, and friendly.
Cute and quaint! Great staff, fast service and delicious food!
Just ordered in for the first time and I gotta say.....It Is WONDERFUL! I am not even half way through my meal and I just wanted to say that this place has great food! My co worker got the crepes and I had the breakfast burrito, both items which are of a great value, portion and taste! Thank You so much for making our day a bit brighter
Great little place, excellent eggs benny, and a super hostess Sherri.
I went there a few months ago the food was good but not the best breakfast you can get with that price. The smell of cleaning products bothered us and we decided to get takeout.
I love a good breakfast spot. This place is cozy/kinda small, probably not good for big groups (although nowhere is at the moment). Ive been twice and both times food and service was great
A great space with great food
Awesome service and very very delicious food!
Cozy brunch spot, the food tastes great! The staffs are friendly, recommended! The Mexican Omelette is very good , I found this gem on daily hive Vancouver.
My absolutely favourite breakfast cafe in the world! I go here religiously.
Really disappointed by the food. The staff is really really nice but Im really not convinced by the price to quality ratio... My pancake was not really good and the quantity of breakfast was not as much as expected seeing the price
Great service. Food was ok but not great.
ordered the turkey club and I was rather small, and it came in a bare plate with nothing else. LOL
Nice quaint place, not extremely busy. Had their Mushroom and Spinach Benny. It was good. Ordered a side order of their banana pancake, enjoyed it too.
Great service and nice atmosphere. Very tasty food. I always come here with pleasure.
Some of the best pancakes you will ever have.
Great service, follows covid restrictions, wonderful staff
Service was great, they were fast and got everything right. However the food quality has changed, not sure if they got new suppliers but the sausages are no longer the delicious farmer sausages they used to have! Pulling for you guys to go back to other supplier!
Over priced small portions
It was my girlfriends first time having Borscht, and we couldnt have gone to a better place for it. The food was incredible, the staff very kind, and the atmosphere was cozy & warm. Highly recommend for a Sunday brunch.
Had a beautiful lunch today with my mom and grandma, food was amazing ( borsh soup) , and we had the most sweetest server, so polite and professional, I believe her name was Sher ( could be wrong ) but she made our first time experience there even more joyful. We can t wait to come back .
What a treat!
