3757 Cypress Bowl Rd, West Vancouver, BC V7S 3E7, Canada
Great view and atmosphere. Nice to have a beer or mulled wine there. Pizza is very good but be prepared to wait for some time.
Pretty good pizza, but not the greatest, they could use more tasty toppings and make a better pizza, the dough was great tho. The view and atmosphere was amazing however! So worth checking out for sure! Plenty of parking but it was getting busy so it can fill up fast. It's a popular spot!
The Shed offers a cozy location with a lovely view, perfect for relaxing with tasty drinks. It’s a great place to chill after a hike or ride in Cypress Mountain. If you’re a pizza lover, you definitely need to try their pizza! I also highly recommend the chai for a delightful finish to your meal.
Cool little coffee bar that sells pretzels, pizzas, croissants, hot chocolate, adult beverages, and more. Area is covered and has heat lamps. Great views of the inlet. Prices are fair. Recommend stopping in on a cold/rainy/snowy day here for a hot drink and food.
The Shed Coffee Bar on Cypress Mountain is a gem! It’s an amazing spot for a picnic with absolutely breathtaking views of the Vancouver skyline. The serene ambiance combined with the mountain air makes it a perfect escape from the city. And the pizza? Simply fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and just what you need after a hike or bike ride. Whether you’re there for the coffee, the food, or the stunning scenery, this place is a must-visit. Add it to the things to do when visiting Vancouver.
The best pizza I've ever had! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was delightful. From the taste of the food to the pleasant ambiance, everything was excellent. Highly recommend!
I visited Shed Pizza and was quite disappointed. The wait time was excessive; it took over an hour for our food to arrive. Maybe beacuse of friday🤔While the pizza was fresh, the quality of the ingredients was lacking, which made the overall experience not worth the wait. Greek salad was also disappointing, with 3 pieces of feta lots of onions, one tomato,no sauce and salt. The view and beer was great.
The Shed Coffee Bar Pizza is an absolute gem on the way to Cypress Mountain! We stopped by for some pizza, and it was fantastic. The view from the place is breathtaking, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The picnic spot in the front is perfect for enjoying a meal with family. It was a delightful experience on our way back from Cypress Mountain. Highly recommend!
Every time I come here the pizza is different. The service takes forever luckily the views are nice. Not sure why it gets rated so highly maybe for the views and everyone is hungry after a hike. Very inconsistent food and drinks.
Great place with stunning views! We got lucky as the weather opened up during sunset and it looked absolutely beautiful! The place itself is nice with decent coffee and pizza. Tried the mocha & then the truffle mushroom pizza with cauliflower crust as I m gluten intolerant. The crust was sub par and for some reason very greasy, but the topping was delicious. Enough mushrooms and truffle oil with heaps of arugula. The music is fantastic too!
Nice place to spend quality time!
This a really great date spot with amazing views! Food is really good here, especially the pizza - must try the chicken pesto pizza. Service can be pretty slow in general, especially if there is a crowd. Place is very pet friendly as well. Highly recommend going here with a date or friends or even family to just hang out and lounge in the garden area with views of the whole city and oceans.
This place is expensive but you are paying for the experience. I loved the pizza and there are so many drinks available! Vegetarian options: At least two Veggie pizzas available Kid-friendliness: More importantly, Dog friendly!
Great vibes, staff are always in a lovely mood and the food is exquisite
Nice place with lookout.
Mushroom pizza must try
Nice place, excellent food
The best view in the world. Plus brilliant pizza
phenomenal place
View ....!! No need to look any further ...
Perfect place for a hot beverage and a bite when coming back from the mountain. Great view on Vancouver.
Nice place to chill and enjoy
Wasted time coming here. Place closed at 06:40 PM (closing time shows 8PM) Food
Great spot to relax on a sunny day, the pizza is surprisingly good, but need to wait a long time if weather is good here, but worth it.
Mediocre pizza but has nice views
I tried their fish n chips with beer. It was great
Overall good experience at The Shed but dont expect much service beyond the standard pay and self-pickup type. Limited oven space so orders can take a long time when theyre busy. But honestly, you go for the atmosphere to socialize and relax...its not really about the food.
Pizza is ok. Crust was nice but toppings were lacking and size was very small for price. I know fire done pizzas are in this style but I expected a bit more flavour out of the mushroom truffle pizza. Pop up restaurant is nice though and the view outside is amazing. Parking: Fairly large gravel parking lot with lots of space.
Wonderful pizza
Go for the view, but don t give these people a dime. We wasted 30 minutes waiting for two pizzas and a salad that were downright awful. The truffle pizza? A joke. Rehydrated, tasteless mushrooms with zero truffle flavor, and the crust was burnt to a crisp. Our friend s pepperoni pizza wasn t any better burnt and bland as cardboard. The atmosphere? Imagine being crammed into a tiny space, forced to share a table with random strangers, while tourists take over just to snap selfies and leave. Honestly, they re the smart ones. We stuck around like fools and got slapped with a $140 bill for a couple of beers, two terrible pizzas, and an over-sauced salad. Don t make the same mistake. This place is a tourist trap with garbage food. The view is the only thing worth anything and you can get that for free.
Nice place and great view
THE BEST!!!! Pizza & coffee were incredible, service was fast and friendly and a GORGEOUS view to enjoy.
Fav spot.
The food quality is decent, their pizza is tasty, try the pretzels, we love it
Stunning location with amazing views over Vancouver. Good pizzas. Service can be slow, but the pizzas are always fresh. It would be great to see more vegan items added to the menu.
This place has attraction of its own, scenic view ,natural beauty, awesome pizza and beer. What else one needs. Highly recommend - The Shed. Also allows our furry friends.
Wow, really enjoyed my time here, specifically because it s dog friendly and has a great view. Huge shout out to Alex, he truly is a star. He has great conversation and great music taste! Great service, great pizza.
Its a pizza restaurant. You can eat inside the pizza shop, but since there is a lawn, its nice to bring a chair or mat outside and enjoy the sunset and night view with a clear view. A great place to eat pizza and spend time with family!!!
Great location and the best view in town.
Best view
Overall, its a good experience, but dont expect restaurant-level quality and service. With so many people in line, the staff can seem overwhelmed or disengaged. Pizzas were ok but a bit pricey. However, the natural setting is beautiful, and the view is nice. Its worth visiting once.
Breathtaking views of the city and plenty of sunshine when the weather is nice. A furnished terrace and wooden tables. We ate pizzas there, they were very good.
Fun spot with a good view.
Nice food. Amazing views. Very cool vibe. Sit at the few tables available, or take a picnic blanket and sit on the lawn and enjoy the view. Food
One of the best views in the city. It used to be a local secret but its now a destination for the bridge and tunnel crowd. Not enough seating considering how busy the place gets on a sunny day but bring a blanket, if its not raining, and sit out on the ample grass area adjacent. Pizza is the crown jewel here with limited food options beyond that. Service can be slow and pizzas can take up to 45mins to an hour when busy. But if youre not in a rush theyre worth it. Kids sand pit makes it a fun place for families. Also a great stop if youve been skiing/hiking/mountain biking in the mountains above. Enjoy it while you can. This pop up will be gone once construction begins on the nearby village mega project sometime next year.
55 minutes waiting time to get small pizza Awesome view from the park. Normal pizza, but thats all. Food : 5/5
Food was amazing. Had the breakfast pizza. Pizza with an egg...go figure. So good
I paid almost $200 for a bad Pizza for my family. I was here on a Sunday the line was 45 minutes plus another 45 to wait for my order and seat, so if you come dont come very hungry and tired. The pizza was burnt and for $25 each your expectations for a personal size are better. Honestly, Costo service and pizza are better quality. It s an artisanal pizza, but the taste is like a home made not an Italian al forno . The attention only when paying was good when they deliver the pizza to you, they almost spit on you for asking about your order, their attitude is not friendly . You pay a lot for the view alone, and I think there are many places in WVan where you can do it for free.
Very very poor service. Cashier was rude and was not willing to answer any questions. To the girl working on sep 1 evening- do better or quit. Also how can you be running out of everything people are asking off of your menu? Pizza was okay and view from the place is amazing. Only wish the staff was a bit more welcoming.
Stunning view here, many people come for picnic. There is long queue so we didnt eat here.
The pizza was tasty. Freshly baked and there crust was perfect. A great view of the city skyline.
Ordered veggie pizza, but the ingredients were missing as mentioned on menu. When we went back to the chef/employees they brushed it off by saying oh we changed the recipe . And didn t acknowledge their mistake.
Amazing delicious pizzas. The view is fantastic. Great place! Food : 5/5
Unacceptable!!! 1 hour wait to order and 1 hour wait to receive both pizzas!! Never seen before!! 2 hours!!! The place is very cool, a little remote but with a nice view of the city, with room to sit. The pizzas are more American than truly Italian. But they are good. The price is quite high, between $24 and $26. Ok they are good but no pizza is worth such a long wait!!! As a reminder, the cooking time for a pizza in a pizza oven is 3 minutes. Especially since we do not warn you of the waiting time before ordering. You find out once you pay of course Go there for the view but not for this restaurant.
Totally not worth going here for pizza, it looks nice, but the dough was really bad, felt like store bought pizza dough. It had no rise to it, just skip it. The view is really nice but thats the only positive thing maybe.
Incredible views and a great place to relax.
I love this place, the views and the location are very beautiful
Beautiful place with poor quality pizza( it s not pizza its a flat bread thin and not tasty)
I love the pizza, they make it with love , ask for julie
Cool spot with an awesome view!
I recently ordered a pizza, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I ve had. The person preparing our pizza, a white, blonde individual, was eating and drinking while cooking, which raised concerns about hygiene. Moreover, the pizza itself was not fully cooked it tasted like raw dough. It was incredibly disappointing, and I expected much better quality. I hope this issue can be addressed to improve future customer experiences.
Great place to cruise up to in ur ride and hang , Great food and lots of room to hang out have a picnic with an amazing view, free parking with lots of space !
Awesome place for drinks and food with a scenic view.
Amazing hidden spot on your way to Cypress. Great pizza, beautiful view and friendly staff. Good job guys Food : 5/5
Tasty fire oven pizzas. Food is slow to come out but very busy there especially if you visit around sunset. Nice to have a place to get some food and drinks if you like with an amazing view outside looking over the city.
Gorgeous spot to stop at on the way up to Cypress! The view was incredible as we enjoyed our chai latte and hot chocolate! Parking was easy to find when we came at 11am. The pizzas looked and smelled great so we will definitely have to come back again!
Food was absolutely amazing, but greasy. The atmosphere was nice and the view was good, but had tons of flies. We came on quite a cold day and unfortunately the staff did not turn on the heater until we asked. Overall you should give it a try! Food
Waited over an hour for worst pizza I ever had in my life. The pizzas were burnt to a crisp and barely edible. Cheese was minimal and sauce was dehydrated from the cooking. Chewing was a jaw workout. This place is just relying on the view and environment. No substance to the food at all. You are better off packing your own food and coming here to enjoy the view.
What a view!
Ordered two pizzas, waited 40 minutes for them to be ready and was disappointed with the food. Barely any sauce on the pizzas and below average taste. The only saving grace is the view. For the prices they charge, everything should be so much better
The most delicious oven-baked pizza you can have in Vancouver with an amazing view is on Cypress Mountain. Whether in winter or summer, it only has a line-up on weekends. Go and enjoy! Food
Painfully slow service. Always massive queues, no separation of food and drink ordering. A mess.
The food is average, the staff not very friendly, and the atmosphere is great. One time is enough to satisfy you.
Its great. The only criticism I have is when it gets busy it can be very slow. But if youre not in a hurry its a great spot.
Very Very bad taste mushroom pizza, no stuffed with mushrooms, only 3-4 pieces in toppings. Not worth $25. Food
Its shame it has gone down in quality. The pizza topping where few and poorly distributed. And the crust was burnt.
The pizza is pretty normal, nothing new. The kitchen crew is too small for all the people and you will have to wait a lot of time. There is always a los of clients so the customer service is pretty generic, they are not diligent, they are very straight forward. One day my pizza was overcooked 100% they dont care. They have a very limited menu. Positive thing is the view.
They are not transparent with their prices. You don t even get a breakdown in a receipt before paying ( this is illegal!) They state that they have gluten free option but they don t state in the menu or informed of the extra cost. We paid 88$ 2 gluten free pizzas plus 1 beer plus the obligated tip even though we had to wait for 1h to get our pizzas and ok the top of that 1 of the pizzas supposed to have bacon ( this is one of their expensive pizzas) and as you can see in the photo the bacon was minimal, so we felt really disappointed and we felt ripped off. I won t go back or recommend the place to anybody unfortunately. The views of the area are spectacular so I ll suggest to bring your own picnic and enjoy the view.
This place is crazy busy which leads to long slow lines and a backed up kitchen. I waited an hour for my pizza. The pizza was very good, but I wouldnt go back because of how slow it was. You also cant take alcoholic beverages outside so there isnt much available in the way of seating if you are wanting some drinks.
Wait was 40 mins and they let us know after we paid so don t go too hungry. Limited seating but a nice view point and large green (bring a picnic blanket)! Tips: I saw lots of people get 1/2 flavour pizzas (e.g. half supreme, half cheese) if you can t decide on a flavour/sharing, washrooms are available They work quite slowly it looks like. Pizza is quite good.
Nice spot with a view, cozy indoor/outdoor space with a few fire tables and heat lamps for cooler months. Great spot to take families, hang out with friends. Also dog friendly! Pizza is mediocre and oily. It can be quite slow especially at peak times. Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian pizzas Parking: Lots of parking spots available Kid-friendliness: Great spots for kids! Lots of grassy areas to play, a sandy pit as well to play in. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spots available
Great views and fantastic concept. Service is slow so give yourself time.
Delicious pizza Lovely view Food
nice view & tasty pizza
We stopped by for a cold Apple Cider. It was delicious and refreshing. The views are good with a nice wide vista of Stanley Park, greater Vancouver, and the harbour entrance. There is a medium size flat unshaded grassy field. The other amenities is a sales office for the Cypress mountain resort.
Nice pizza but greasy as they dont actually use pepperoni but Genoa as the meat
Good food but price breakdown is not mentioned, seems others have had this experience unfortunately as well.
Cool place. Pizza wait time was too long for us cyclists to try it, but this is a nice place to stop.
This is my first time coming to The Shed. The pizza was delicious and the views were absolutely amazing. Theres not too many places in Vancouver where youll get views like this. Definitely check it out especially if you are out in West Vancouver. You can even bring your own lawn chairs and sit on the grassy area plus there is a place for the kids to play and it is dog friendly
Great location and fresh pizza.
Surprisingly busy on a random weekday. Pizza dough was great, not much toppings and a bit salty.
You gotta eat here!! Delicious food and an amazing views of Vancouver with fire pits inside the restaurant.
Be prepared to queue if you come during a weekend. Food and view are worth a wait. Beer selection could be improved a lot.
The pizza it was delicious, but I m not waiting 1 hour for 1 pizza. And the chai latte it was just milk.
Bad customer service, poor food quality
Fantastic view and wonderful service, good is great, very different from what we used to have, they even have a sand pool for kids to play.
Good food and drinks
If I could give this 10 stars for atmosphere I would. Come here on a clear day and sit and enjoy the view to Seattle! Its fun to soak in the sun and enjoy some pizza straight from the pizza oven. The people working there are all friendly and fun and the vibe is really chill. 10/10 would go again.
Dog-friendly, fantastic views and great pizza! It s a summer staple for me! I wish the staff and service were better but the atmosphere s vibes make up for it! Food
Great place for Sunday morning coffe with friends!amazing view. Will be back
The atmosphere of this little place is amazing; such a cute spot tucked away just off the highway with gorgeous views of the city and ocean. The pizza was delicious as well and they had a lot of different options.
Great location.
Great view to enjoy your pizza here.
Great view. Delicious pizza. Slow service. They are busy with orders, and the pizza oven can only cook so many pizzas at a time, I suppose.
The pizza was overpriced, lacked sufficient ingredients, and had poor topping distribution.
Breathtaking views, great spot for a picnic.
Wonderful place to have coffee overlooking the Stanley park
Great pizza
Good pizza but sometimes its a long wait.
Service is as great as at any other coffee+food place: underpaid staff doing a bang up job politely keeping the line moving and meeting peoples orders. The pizza is solid, if overpriced, with interesting toppings. But everything else is merely fine, generic industrial aesthetic included. Try not to hold it against them that the adjacent, privately-owned park is laundering public opinion for the areas unaffordable housing development.
Such a cute little place to stop for lunch! The view is absolutely gorgeous, pizza is delicious, atmosphere is fun and trendy. The chef Alex was beyond fantastic, he s so friendly, fun and personable! And he made me such an amazing pizza, easily the best pizza I ve ever had. Will definitely stop here again next time I m in the area, highly recommend!!
3.5 stars. Sunday was extremely busy. The line up took 15 minutes, and the pizza took even longer at 45 minutes. The employee didnt give us a heads up about the extremely long wait when ordering. Everyone just stood idly for the pizza... If I was given a heads up, wouldve ordered a snack and beer instead. The view is 5 stars.
Pretty awesome!!
Lovely staffs, amazing view and great food really love their pizza and iced mocha
You can t beat the location. The vibe is also great. The pizza is okay, I had the Jalapeño one and the toppings were pretty sad, very minimal, they super cheap d out. It was basically a cheese pizza with bbq sauce on it. My brother got the supreme and his was great. But honestly, go for the view and the atmosphere. You can t beat it!
Very overpriced and bad service. Made me wait for no reason
Not the same as it used to be. Overpriced pizza that is burnt and barely has any toppings. Paid $55 for 2 pizzas. Pack your own food and have a picnic at this park instead.
Great location. Great pizza, friendly staff We come back soon Food
Like seriously what the heck does lgbtq friendly mean??? Why are you dividing the people with those dumb remarks . A business should be everyone friendly, you saying that specific group just leaves them left out.
Very nice area for getting cool Vegetarian options: Vegi options on menu I saw Parking: Lots of free parking Kid-friendliness: Sand play ground available for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access
Delicious pizza. Pesto chicken and supreme are highly recommended
This place would be five stars if the pizza was better and they didnt have the music turned up so loud you cant have a convo...but the location and the view are top notch!
Gorgeous views but we got food poisoning from our pizza. Would not recommend.
The view is beautiful and the place is very nice to rest and have a drink. The food is delicious pizza and you can have coffee or wine too.
We visited today. The table was messy and unclean, and it seemed like the hall wasnt being properly maintained. While the location is great, the food, service, and cleanliness left much to be desired.
Its a great place to stop, look, and listen.
Great pizza, fantastic views of Vancouver and the harbour. Terrific spot to take visitors.
Had a great time with a great view and very warm and welcoming staff.
Without a doubt this is the best view in Vancouver! Try to go during sunset time. Keep in mind there might be long waiting times. The pizzas are delicious!
Great lookout and great idea. That said, alcohol is expensive and the music is very loud, making people yell over it, which isnt the best.
Beautiful atmosphere and beautiful view but little place to protect yourself from the sun. It hits hard in summer.
The truffle mushroom pizza didn t have a lot of truffle or mushroom. We plan to pre-cook some shiitake mushrooms and brings a bottle of white truffle oil next time to add ourselves. Nice spot. Staff are nice enough. There a beer mustard sauce but we didn t try it. A scallion aioli which I feel would have a similar profile to their garlic mayo. Nice view. Be prepared to bring your pizza boxes and plastics home as I was told by a cashier that they don t compost and unless your box is grease and food free, can t be recycled as paper. Not sure if their plastics get recycled or not as I didn t ask.
Pizza is good much better than some places that say they have the best pizza in town. They forget or don t swap the oven every now and then, so the bottom of your pizza might be a bit darker, than usual. Very crowded place on sunny days, so don t expect to get your pizza in less than 30 minutes, plan for 45-60 minutes. Add 30 minutes to line up to order, for some reason even though people has time to think what they want to order while they are in line, they wait until they are in front of the cashier to ask themselves what they want, increasing the wait time for everyone. Beer is expensive But bring your own and just sit outside Banana bread is good Service is inexistent, because it is so busy, that the best the cashier can do is to try to take your order as fast as they can
Great food & take out options! Sometimes it takes them a bit to pump out your pizzas - during peak times 30-45mins
An amazing atmosphere with some amazing views. Drinks are expensive but an amazing spot for views and hanging out with friends. Pizza was alright, it was cut up very weirdly and tasted very average.
Coffee is okay but the service is good
Fantastic pizza, superb view. What a great location for this restaurant. Pizza is the best in N.Van and W.Van. Im surprised that parcel of land still exists without some condo blocking the view. Best to try it out before its developed into suburban wasteland
Amazing view of Vancouver plus good coffee.
Stunning views, great food.
Love the place good vibes all over
What a great place for families and friends to come to hangout and enjoy the scenery that makes the region so special!
I bike here all the time on my routes to cypress. Came here for a rest stop to drink some beers and eat pizza. Was such a great place to relax! They have bike wash station here, washrooms, tables for sitting and an amazing view of the water and Vancouver! Trestle bridge is also close by if you want to hike or go gravel biking!
Stunning views, delicious pizza, and friendly service.
I highly recommend visiting:) you can bring your dog if you want as well to enjoy on the outside patio, very relaxing and nice setup
Super super long wait to order (30 minutes) then another long wait to get food. It seemed short staffed maybe but it was a sunny Sunday so it would have been predictably higher volume. I think a separate kiosk/line for gelato and coffee would be wise as everyone has to lineup together.
This place used to be great but now they only appear to be glazing the sauce on their pizzas. Their pizzas are not only flavourless and super soggy but also take 50 minutes to make. Their cheese is non existent and their toppings are very inconsistent. This is the second time we ve tried and been disappointed hoping it was a bad day but I guess that is just their new norm.
This place is a vibe: best for some sunny day evenings dates n mates
Beautiful atmosphere. No wifi tho
Decent pizza, Italian style, great atmosphere, nice place and awesome view of Stanley Park!
Unique table using barrels. Limited seating when raining.
The pizza coffee bar offers a nice view with plenty outdoor area to enjoy your time. The pizzas are freshly made, however, the waiting time was 45 min. Theres a parking lot but still not easy to get a spot on a nice sunny weekend. Make sure you really have ample of time and patience to stop by this bar.
The pizza is delicious, the best I have eaten in the Vancouver area.
The best hot chocolate with marshmellow and a beautiful view
the space they ve created is amazing but the food isn t the best, we do need to address the fact that they are extremely busy. they re coffee is nice but pizzas are average.
