Feast The Neighbourhood Table in West Vancouver

Was excited to try this place after reading all the great reviews but would not recommend. Over a 45 minute wait for breakfast today with only 3 full tables in the restaurant. when our food finally came out the potatoes were cold, they got two of the three orders wrong, my poached eggs were still wet in the little skillet they served it in soaking the bacon and watering down the frothy hollandaise sauce. Will not be going back.

Has gone downhill after the take over. The staff is always on their phone when not busy. Sometimes, you are not greeted when you walk in, instead, you have to wait for someone on their phone to notice you. The free range chicken used to be superb and now taste sour. P.S. I haven dining here since 2014

My family and I used to dine here very often, around five to six years ago, and I remember we really enjoyed eating here. I especially liked the chowder from those times. However, the chowder here seems much more bland than it used to be, and one of my favourite entrees, the butter and parmesan spaghetti was removed. Still a solid place to eat, I guess.

The absolute worst!!! Will NEVER go back again!!! Was there last night, server (Aidan) forgot half of our appetizers, took 45minutes to finally get all the appetizers, His exact words were, the food was lost, not sure what that means and how that can happen. Had to wait an additional hour for our mains to hit the table, even though appetizers and mains were all ordered at the same time. My main was wrong, had to to be sent back to be redone, the food was cold for both my husband and I, even though mine was sent back to be corrected. Overall, the worst service and food experience!!! The entire 2 hours we were there waiting for our meals, the entire staff was too busy helping the table next to us, which was a family or friend of the owner, that were given a free meal at the end. Instead of focusing on proper service to actual paying customers. Absolutely disgusting and the worst place to visit. Will NEVER go back, and I recommend NO ONE ever does.

Worst experience ever! Brought my family of 5 for brunch- waited 40 min for our food to arrive and they brought it out one dish at a time with lengthy pauses in between. My eggs were undercooked and the entire plate of food was stone cold. It was inedible. I suspect they lost our order since tables who were seated after us got their meals long before us. Our server never checked on us, and after I complained about my meal, I had to look at these raw cold eggs until finally asking the server to remove the plate. They deducted my meal from the bill, but I left hungry and irritated. Don t waste your money and time on this brunch spot. There are much better options out there!

First time at the restaurant and didnt enjoy the dine out menu. Main entrees were bland and small portion size. We got the poach pear dessert and there was only a quarter piece of the pear. Maybe the regular menu is better.

Extremely disappointing given the price point. Appetizers were good (smoked tomato soup, bone marrow) though oddly enough, I was just about to complain that there should have been bread with the marrow when I looked at the menu online and saw that there _was_ bread, but I didnt get it. Fish special was just very bland. Burger was terrible. Patty was extremely dry and was one of those annoying 2-inch-diameter-1-inch thick jobs so that its pretty much impossible to handle. Bacon was _far_ beyond crispy; it was so overcooked it was almost colourless and very hard. Parmesan fries are, I guess, as advertised but the parmesan didnt really work as far as Im concerned. Service was perfectly fine to start, but no-one ever asked how things were after dropping off the food. Worse, after we finished up a very large, loud table showed up. We just wanted to leave but our server was nowhere to be found. After close to 15 minutes without sight of him, we finally had to ask the server from the neighbouring section to track him down just to get the bill.

Was there for happy hour. food and service mediocre. Mouille frites tastless. Buratta came with roasted squash which was taste less could have atleast thrown some herbs on the squash. Buratta which is usually served with a few pieces of bread. Was Missing! Service mediocre and staff have an air of indifference about them. The young man just here from Ukraine was the most pleasant Friend served about ten minutes before my plate came! No apologies offered.

Food was a unique fusion of traditional and Asian. Delicious flavors. Prices were reasonable with decent sized servings. Staff were great, but we were upstairs and it was difficult to get their attention at times. Unfortunately this was the last weekend for this restaurant

Great brunch. Loved the Feast Benny, and the Ceaser was fantanstic.

Our first time dining at Feast and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful dining experience. The three course dinner for the Dine Out Vancouver was amazing. Our table sampled all of the offerings and they all stood out. The Arctic Char, wow! I didnt think I could eat dessert but when it came you couldnt not eat it. The service was spot on. Totally recommend Feast.

Lovely location and ambience. Went for Sunday brunch and the service was friendly but the food was a little disappointing. Lacked flavour, was lukewarm and appeared as though they rushed to cook it. Hopefully dinner is better.

Excellent service & food. I do not like mayonnaise at all, but the garlic aioli that they serve with the Parmesan Fries is awesome. I have gone to Feast many times for their Chicken and Waffles, and it never disappoints. I recently tried the Mac and Cheese with a side of sourdough bread, and now I will never look at Kraft or Annies mac and cheese the same way again. Definitely worth a visit!

Dropped by for dinner apprehensively as had no reservations on Friday evening. Bustling but we were received immediately and very pleasantly. I always enjoy sitting at the bar where possible as enjoy watching effective bar management. No disappointment there either. My wife and I both commented on the lighting which was neither bright nor dark enough that hampers visibility of the food and the space. As we feasted on their famous fried chicken-well deserved reputation- and steak, left me wishing could have ordered the halibut also as looked great on a patron s plate next to me. The chicken was tender, juicy and nicely crisp, achieved only through a well run deep fryer and attentive chef, the latter abundantly evident in my steak also that was cooked perfectly. The portions were delicious and generous, pre-ceded by their homemade butter and sour dough loaf . We had great food and exceptional service. The manager also checked on us to ensure all was satisfactory, which was and very enjoyable. Great food, lovely space , great value ( post Covid) and wonderful staff and service. Will revisit and recommend. Well done

I just want to thank the staff at Feast for an amazing experience. Today we celebrated a friends engagement, and the staffs friendliness, attention to detail and incredible customer service made the celebration all the more wonderful. Wed also like to pass our compliments on to the chef, the food was phenomenal!

A cozy casual restaurant spot in Dunderave with indoor and patio seating. Great for groups of 2-4 Great for brunch with friends

I dont understand the current 4.4 stars rating. I generously give it 2 stars because its not the worst brunch Ive had and the waitresses were friendly, but service was really slow (even though they had no customers inside, and not every table was even occupied outside) and the salmon eggs benny my friend and I had were very disappointing. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but based on our experience, I do not recommend and will not go back.

Great location and vibe. Some of the best casual food youll have in all of west and north van. An underrated and somewhat hidden gem. Ive been here twice now and keep meaning to leave a bit about these guys. This place is great. Their appetizers and mains weve had are especially on point and I give this place 5 stars because you can really tell the chef here put a lot of thought, pride and attention into their menu items. Ive been impressed with everything Ive had here. Our servers weve had each time are very friendly and seem to know everything on the menu well, meaning theyve probably tried everything. A server here will explain to you why they liked a certain dish youre curious about. The bartender here also makes incredible mixed drinks. The vibes are casual here. I am intrigued by their big outdoor space on the sidewalk and will be trying it soon. The Dundarave location makes this a great spot if youre along the beach for a walk and etc and feel like finding somewhere nearby for brunch, lunch or dinner. The restaurant seems very well maintained and almost loved to a degree. Dont sleep on this spot, it might very well be one of the best small-owned restaurants on the entire shore.

Amazing food and service (thank you Olga! You were fabulous) Great cocktails and delicious food! I should have not ordered the squid it wasnt enough for dinner, my bad, haha otherwise the halibut was perfect, and the Nutella Cheesecake was amazing. Even in the pouring rain the patio was great :) thanks for a lovely evening, we will be back!

Ive never had blender Cod fries or coleslaw in my entire life. Literally salt and pepper only on everything. The bland is food ever. Ive never known a restaurant to not put carrots in their coleslaw, or gherkins in their tartar sauce. I dont know where these chefs are from, but send them back. 25$ wasted.

The burger was nice and juicy. Very quiet setting

The food was excellent, they had a good draft on tap and our server Aidan was attentive. BUT! they were out of the curry mussels and only had one order of the French so one of our party had to go without. And the portion of mussels was rather small. One other comment was that the Caesar salads while delicious were not shredded enough so in order to eat we had to cut the lettuce up.

Feast its an amazing culinary experience. They have such a wonderful wine list. Theres something on the menu for everyones taste and youll never be disappointed in their savory selection. Its also a great place to stop for wine and appies on your walk by.

Great Brunch spot on sunny patio

Super cozy spot for dinner and drinks. We had a couple excellent cocktails, and the smoked tomato soup and the baked cheese, both were delicious!

One of our favourite places!! Love taking my daughters on dates here. The server had the coolest glasses and we all thought she was so nice and was a world class server l. The food is 11/10. My girls LOVE the max and cheese. But everything had been wow so far!

I havent been there yet Im going January 1st for a new years brunch but the over the phone customer service was amazing. I have food allergies and tend to call places before I go and I really appreciate how easy it was to talk to them . Cant wait to try

Such a great experience today from the great staff to the tasty food! The ambiance was also wonderful. Lots of seating and they spaced everything out very nicely. I would definatley come back here, keep up the excellent service and great food!

I dont hand out 5 stars easily. For years I have always enjoyed the quality and scope of the menu. There is not a lower on the menu.

I should have given this place 5 stars for effort, but...its not quite there. They have to refine their recipes a bit more. The service is excellent, however. I sat inside one of those temporary huts they built on the sidewalk/street and if youre thinking of sitting there, bring warm socks. I should have just had the burger (I think they teach burger-making on day 1 at chef school) as my instincts first suggested, maybe that is part of the reason the Beef Bourguignon that I ended up with just seemed bland...or maybe they forgot salt. Had a whiskey sour...and it sure was sour.

We visited last weekend for Dine Out Vancouver. We were excited as we visited in 2018 for the same event and the food was great. Unfortunately this most recent visit didnt live up to our expectations. The service was great, the drinks we enjoyed were as well, however the dinner wasnt (we even ordered something off the regular menu)- every dish was missing seasoning (salt). Perhaps this was an off-night for the chefs?

I asked for avocado toast to start as I was famished and it never arrived; server did not apologize or acknowledge the miss. I then ordered the ratatouille, noting I wanted my eggs medium poached but they came very soft instead. Server was kind enough to offer a new plate but I declined since I was already eating, and had no time to wait.

I like everything there: food, atmosphere, and stuff all 5 stars

This is my favourite date night spot in Vancouver. Amazing atmosphere, laid back yet classy. Incredible food made with local ingredients. Great flavours, something on the menu for everybody. Their Gin Thyme is my absolute favourite cocktail at any restaurant.

Staff were amazing. Very welcoming. Salad was delicious. Fish was slightly undercooked, they brought us new cooked version with more pieces of fish. They didnt charge us for the dish. Was a good experience.

Feast is my favourite restaurant in West Vancouver. Delicious food, wonderful ambiance, and fun and friendly staff who are always welcoming. Celiacs everywhere take note! They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and you can eat virtually everything on the menu. I have tried almost every dish and it is hands down the best gluten free food I have had to date. One cannot even tell its gluten free. Without hesitation, I highly recommend you try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Our food was tasty although we didnt have the chance to order the fried chicken, which apparently is the top seller. We went there for happy hour and even so, this restaurant is more on the pricey side. Feast is one of those places where youd go to once every ~2 years given the abundant offer of superb food in West and North Van

Halibut burger great. . .mussels so-so, a few dead ones . . .server tried, but horribly slow, though not busy. Id give them a 6.

The best mussels in town!! Everything is perfect. The light, the music... Reminded me a great restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand. Congrats!!!!

Fantastic spot for dinner! Would love to try their brunch! We stopped off here after a hike on Thursday evening, and had called ahead to book a patio table less than an hour before. We turned up early, absolutely starving, and the wonderful staff made no delay to seat us before our booked time. They kindly accommodated our request to switch tables - we wanted to be further away from other diners and some of the tables are a bit closer together than we re comfortable with. Our server especially was phenomenal. We ordered the Signature Moules to share as an appetizer, then the Feast Fried Chicken and chowder for our mains. Everything was delicious and very fresh but the star of the show was the Breezy Moscow. We had two rounds as they were so good! The only thing I would love to see would be some lighter or more summery dessert options. They had cheesecake and mini donuts on the menu which felt quite heavy for such a hot day. We were not disappointed and would return to Feast in a heartbeat!

Seating outside was pleasant and the eggs Benny was awesome, the salad it came with was delicious and the roasted potatoes with a dollop of herbed sour cream tasted like tiny baked potatoes...the only complaint would be the waffle the eggs came on... made this dish way too difficult to eat, very dense, very hard to cut into, making everything slide off, and wasnt all that tasty. If they removed the waffle it would have been a ten because I Love Bennies light crispy waffles needed or not at all

I took my Father-in-law for dinner to Feast this evening. I had the pan seared Halibut and he had the seafood pasta, the food was amazing. The server was very knowledgeable and sugested the perfect wine pairing for our meals. Great overall experience! If you havent tried this place, I strongly recommend it.

Had a really lovely experience here. The service was amazing, super friendly & accommodating whilst the food and restaurant design were both beautiful. I wish I got our servers name as I d love to give her a shoutout (she was the first server working Saturday morning).

The fried chicken wasnt planned and greasy, potatoes were kind of boring and the waffle was the smallest Ive ever been served at a restaurant but the maple topping was good and the servers were very nice

I really wanted to like this place. I had the vegan portobello mushroom burger. The small portobello was burned so thin it was like a charred sliver in a giant bun. Burnt tasting and very poor value. My partner had a large burger patty in his. Big contrast.

Just ordered take out to eat in a park. We wanted to try Feast for the first time because they had gluten free take out options. We ordered parm fries which had about 2 stands of cheese, 2 singular pieces of gf fried chicken (for $18!), a breakfast bowl (supposed to have radicchio and roasted potatoes) which came with no potatoes for some reason, a bunch of spinach and radishes and they didnt offer/ give any cutlery. The food tasted fine but were pretty disappointed.

Best brunch restaurant in West Vancouver by far. Delicious food, beautifully presented and a cut above the rest. They have arranged their seating appropriately for dining during the pandemic. Very clean environment and safe distancing between tables. Havent tried dinner yet there but we look forward to doing so. Service was polite, gracious and professional.

Good Neighbourhood Restaurant ~ we always come here when we crave for Fried Chicken or Burger. Great outdoor dining area with heater. Good service too.

Best chowder I ve had. Amazing spot for food

Small and intimate with great attention to service and making us feel welcome. Small menu but it still took us a while to decide as everything looked and sounded amazing. The chowder was very good, and the pork belly bowl was delicious, lots of different flavors and textures. Will definitely be back to try the other items.

Amazing food and lovely staff. We are so lucky to have such a great restaurant in our neighbourhood. Would have loved to give 5 stars but we were unable to use our gift card when we went recently, something about a new machine, so that was quite frustrating that they didnt try to make a workaround to honour the gift card. We will likely just re-gift the card since we dont really want to have to go again and spend another $100+. Disappointing to have that result after such a great meal.

We came here for a special occasion and on the advice of a good friend. The evening was amazing! The wines that we paired with each course all had a story behind them and each was clearly carefully selected from hidden gems right here in our province. The calamari and fried chick must not be missed when you visit but everyone at the table absolutely loved everything. I look forward to a return visit to sample what else they have to offer. Bravo Feast!

The Resutrant is so cozy, the food is so tasty , the servers are so amazing . The drink are so delicious ! I don t know why people go to have the same food every time in Cactus club and Earls ! Try something new . Support the community . And I am sure you will have a great time like us

Great little place in WestVancouver. We went here for brunch and the food was excellent and the service was nice. As you can see the fried chicken Benny was quite popular.

We were looking for a brunch spot out in the North Shore. Completely came to this place by accident. We surly lucked out, great food, enjoyed it overwhelmingly. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Taste: 7/10 Came for a company meal so everything was pre-ordered and not chosen by us. Smoked beef Carpaccio: normally Im not even a Carpaccio fan but this was really really good. I loved the balance with the capers and with bread this was really good. Fried chicken & salmon: really good salmon! Very moist and well seasoned. Fried chicken was crispy and inside was tender Chocolate mousse: yum! Very strong chocolate taste with very soft mousse Mini donuts: on the crispy side but still very good.

One of the best places to eat in Vancouver without a doubt

The food was below average for the price, and the service was not very friendly or attentive.

Came here with a group of 7. Three of us got the fish and chips. They were scorched. The batter was dark dark brown and not really edible. The fish inside was dry and chewy. The other meals were all good and the service was great. Definitely don t get the fish and chips.

We were on a family outin, just touring around dundrave and other points in west van. We went here because it was recommended as family dining. When we walked in with our three kids it presented more as a fine dining restaurant than family. That being said, it was an exceptional visit. Service was perfection and the food was impeccable and everyone in our group raved. The kids were so amazed by hamburgers that even though they couldnt eat them all they insisted on saving the left overs for later.

I ve been to Feast before and they ve always impressed me. I went for brunch recently and ordered the fish burger. I took three bites and I couldn t find the fish. I was convinced it was all batter. I asked the server and she was apologetic and said she d have a new one made. The new one was actual fish and delicious. My girlfriend order d the fried chicken Benny and it was amazing. Caesars are a pass based on the spices they use on the rim (not my preference).

Only thing wrong with this place is its not rated out of 10 so I can give it 11. Great space. It was my first time visiting since the location changed owners. Renovations are great, menu is filled with lots of tasty treats. Still waiting to wake up from this dream. Must be the new chef.

Chef Behshad is an absolute wizard behind the pan, possible voodoo or black magic used to make such immaculate culinary experiances.

What a fantastic Restaurant this is. The service is impeccable, friendly and willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The food is excellent from the entrees to dessert. The ambiance is nice, a bit noisy at times but nothing out of the extraordinary. Have been many time and will keep coming back. The best fried chicken in town by far!! UPDATE : we ordered over the phone some food to pick up and eat at home. I don t know if it was a bad day for the kitchen but the food was terrible. The fried chicken had so much pepper that made it unpleasant to eat and the burger was not salty was mega salty! So.. great place to eat but not so great to order, pick up and eat at home. Won t order over the phone again. Shame though!

Beautiful setting and beautiful food. Their gluten free selection is second to none. Pretty much everything is gluten free, fried chicken, waffles, deep fried potato pancakes - everything except the donuts and sourdough. Their gluten fryer is in a separate part of the building so the risk of cross contamination is low. On top of all that, their food is incredible. Worth making the stop for great tasting, safe food.

Have been there a few times good food and service. Once for brunch and for supper. Brunch I had a great eggs Benedict with sweet potatoes in the hash browns. Supper was 3 large pieces of fried chicken and garlic mash potatoes. My husband had the scallops. All very flavourful and fresh.

Steak and eggs, avacado toast and fish and chips. Fish was a bit dry and not too crispy, good toast, steak and eggs were okay. Nothing outstanding. Good service.

Asked for soft poached eggs, our table of 6 all got hard eggs with nearly solid yolks. Disappointing.

Amazing restaurant. Very cozy and super cute and festive for the holiday season! Food was delicious - my favourite was the mushroom and walnut fettuccine. Staff were awesome as well.. hats off to the chef! Would defs come back.
