Since moving from Ottawa, we had yet to find a really good South Asian restaurant in Kelowna/West Kelowna. Curry Bistro never disappoints, absolutely delicious food every time and welcoming friendly service.

I wouldnt recommend. Well i wasnt asked about the spice level and food was very mild. Upon suggesting that you ask next time, we were told you guys dont ask it for appetizers just for main course, which sounded more absurd

The food is extraordinary. Each dish has its own spice combination which is prepared very professionally by the owner who had been cooking for 25yr. The quality was exceptional... Will be eating here again very soon. Vegetarian options: Dal with tomato & cream Coconut shrimp Curry chicken

First time coming to this place, and it was great! The food was incredibly tasty, the place wasnt busy, and our server was an absolute delight! Her name was Spriha, and she was just so lovely during our dining! Vegetarian options: Many, many different vegetarian and vegan options! Parking: Shared parking with other businesses in the strip mall. Kid-friendliness: Family owned, and even had kids doing homework and watching shows :) Wheelchair accessibility: Not good. The door is level with sidewalk, so there is no ramp, and a ramp on the sidewalk up, but its a bit of a tight spot with the cars parked beside and partially on the sidewalk. There is no button to open the door.

Best food ever , everything was amazing and the best part was Spriha who took care of us very well, will surely come back here soon!

We were very impressed with this restaurant. We decided to order the Tandoori mixed grill and it was amazing. There were four very generous pieces of marinated chicken, four generous pieces of tandoori fish, four large prawns, and two chicken drumsticks. It was served on a sizzling bed onions and carrots. With that we ordered onion bhajia that were crispy and thin, and garlic naan-bread was to die for. All in all this was a very generous meal for two people. The service was attentive and delightful. We will definitely be going back and recommending this restaurant to our friends.

First time at the Curry Bistro but wont be the last!! Such a lovely little gem! Had chicken vindaloo and lamb biryani and mutter mushroom (new to me)! All the meat was so tender and every dish was full of flavor! Do yourself a favor and come eat here - great food and service was lovely!

Hands down the best Indian food on either side of the bridge and weve tried every place. This hidden gem is our new favorite. We had Lamb Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala.. 10/10 flavor, good portion sizes, fair prices, great staff.. Really nothing but good things to say here. We will be definitely be back

The food was pretty good. However, the waitress walked away after taking only one persons order. We had to call her back to order the rest of the food. They also got the order wrong and argued about it when I bought it to their attention.. The owner was nice and offered to correct it but it was not worth the wait. It may have been a rough day for the waitress but it was quite disappointing.

We had a wonderful lunch at Curry Bistro in mid-June 2024. The vegetarian selection was excellent. Living in London, UK for over five years weve had many, many Indian meals. But we both felt that the food at Curry Bistro was better than 99% of them. The ingredients of each dish were very fresh, and the spices harmonized perfectly. The sides were excellent--perfectly cooked basmati rice, and naan bread that was the optimal combination of crisp and chewy. The tamarind sauce, which is made in-house, was complex and delicious. The service was attentive, warm, and friendly. I only wish we lived closer to Westlake--if so wed be regulars.

Excellent tasty food and very pleasant staff. We had a take out for ten people and there was plenty left over for the next day. Thank you. We will be back.

Tonight we ordered take out from Curry Bistro for the 2nd time, after the first time was super good. The first time we ordered butter chicken and lamb biryani. So delicious, and great portions! Tonight, we decided to try something different and order items we had never had before. We got the samosas (so crispy and delicious), the chicken biryani and the lamb made the Fijian way. I cannot say enough about the lamb! So flavourful and delicious. We order out quite a bit, and suffice it to say that we will only ever order Indian food on the Westside from Curry Bistro.

Worst experience ever!

Awesome service great food! Will definitely tell my friends and family about this place, fish tikka, garlic naan, and Fiji Goat Curry was phenomenal.

We had some take out from Curry Bistro last night for the first time. We were very impressed with both the quality and quantity of food. I am celiac, so having safe gluten-free dishes is important. I mentioned my allergy and they took care. We had the chicken korma, and 3 veggie dishes: baigan bartha (eggplant based), dal makhani (lentils), channa masala (chickpeas). All were excellent and definite repeats. We do not hesitate to recommend Curry Bistro based on our experience. Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Presentation and the food is at the next level .

After perusing several reviews, I opted to order Dhal Makhani and Vegetable Biryani. Regrettably, the biryani was excessively salty, and the Dhal Makhani lacked freshness. When I mention its lack of freshness, it is noteworthy to state that I placed the order after 10 PM, and despite this, I am reasonably certain that the items were prepared a day prior. Without a doubt, I will refrain from ordering from this establishment in the future. I would advise against considering this restaurant for your culinary preferences.

Seriously the best Indian food Ive had in a long time .

Amazing!!! Ive eaten so many places i cant even count and this hit the top by far. Food was unbeleivable. Very fresh perfectly seasoned and very respectfull staff. Clean and worth every penny. And the prices are very reasonable. Will visit again for sure.

Ordered the lunch special to go and it was great! Very delicious, distinct flavours in both curries, and the naan is perfect! I got friendly and attentive service from the owner and my food was ready quickly. Will definitely be going back in the future!!

I am not one for Indian food but I have to say the food here is amazing!! I ordered the chicken wrap the first time, it was so good i told my husband and son and now its their favorite dinner. Quality of the food is outstanding as is the service, the owner is always here to ensure everything is as it should be. Clean, great food, good service what more could you ask for! Authentic Indian Cuisine in Kelowna. Chef and the owner Dhoom singh have his hands on the Indian cuisine. Trust me hailing from Delhi, who are hard core food lover, you just loved the food. You wont get disappointed. Must try the Tandoori Chicken, Paneer Tikka, Goat Curry and Butter Naan. Moreover, they also do amazing catering.

Had the lunch special today and the butter chicken is phenomenal. Some of the best I ve ever had. I ve seen some places describe theirs as velvety smooth, but this truly was. Really nice service too, and main dishes/lunch specials are all priced reasonably. Dietary restrictions: Had no issue swapping my naan for extra rice.

Upon entering we had the warm welcoming from the staff and we had a complimentary delicate Hors doeuvres with an interesting tasty sause. As well the vegetarian Combo was a pleasing-flavor Chef selection for an affordable price. The same for the Yellow Dal, a lentils dish prepared with the genuine taste from great Indu spices. Prompt and courteous service. We will love to go back there!

I ordered the Prawn Butter Masala. It is VERY tasty but only served with 5 medium size prawns. Still gave a 5* in hopes that they consider bigger portions and because it was so tasty. Even 6 prawns would suffice lol Great job Curry Bistro. Welcome to West Kelowna

We always order from another take away spot in the area, but thought wed try Curry Bistro out because they are new and we want to support them. It was a huge disappointment. For the price we paid for the large butter chicken and large rice (extra so we could get family size and have lunch the next day), we received less than what we usually do from our usual Indian take away if we order regular portions. What a rip off! The butter chicken was a bit watery, taste was okay but not nearly enough to redeem the price we paid for what we received. We also ordered via Skip, and never received the free veg samosas for a $ 25 spend. We wont be back.

I recently had dinner here. The food was very good even if the goat curry had to go back as the meat was cold. The waitress failed to offer us coffee or desserts but was friendly. It was good to have authentic music playing but there was a lack of atmosphere, maybe due to only two others dining there. Overall the food was very good and I will go back and hope that the atmosphere gets better with more people attending.
