Went there couple of times. A nice place to spend your time while having breakfast. Also, the place is very clean and a quiet atmosphere.

Cost un 32 dollars for 2 bagels that weren t even good. Go to Tim s, don t waste your money

Third and last time there dirty and worn down space, awful service (clearly unhappy workers), incapable/uninterested in allergy concerns, and impressively cheap management (cups of water hidden behind the cash register, you have to ask to have one small cup doled out from random pitcher hidden behind the cashier), bathroom out of order next time I ll skip lunch rather than go back for very mediocre and overpriced food in a crappy ambiance. Dietary restrictions: Be wary, it didn t seem like a safe place for allergy concerns (we worry about fish allergies and I worried the whole time)

Completely setting aside the open distain the 2 kids seem to have for customers, or the partially obscured eyeroll they gave when I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and lox on something other than a sesame seed bagel, the bagels themselves are actually fairly good. Better to just get the bagels and make the sandwiches at home. Update Dec 2024: gave the place another shot. Someone needs to teach these people how to make a sandwich. They heated up the whole sandwich in both cases. This led to a hot pickle on the smoked meat and melted cream cheese on the lox and cream cheese. This is basic stuff. They also cut through the paper wrapping the sandwiches in a way that when we looked in the bag they were all over the place.

I really love their eggs and sausage bagel 5/5 Unfortunately, their moka had a less than desirable taste.

Very nice selection of bagels and sandwich bagels. The freshness is there. My favorite place in Montreal for the best bagels. They are made on site and the staff are charming.

Rude owner, inexpericed staff, poor hygiene. They make your coffee with bare hands, they dont wear gloves! They touch the lid with bare hands which is so filthy especially that hands are the biggest carrier of germs. Never in this place again. Food

Ordered an ice coffee with oat milk with UberEat. Got a black coffee with... nothing but ice. I called. They didnt offer to refund the extra I paid for oat milk.

The bagels, especially the pumpernickel variety, are great. They also offer a plethora of cream cheese options. Friendly and welcoming service top-off the experience.

Your prices are insulting, its ridiculous!

They got confused real quick with roughly 10 clients. They take your name so they can call your order, but they cant pronounce it and they dont make sure you take the right order. They just say the name real quick, not loud enough, and mispronounced, drop the bags and turn around. Everyone got stressed they would mess up their order, people were taking other peoples food, there wasnt any sense in which order was coming before the other, no one was operating the cash register... it was a hot mess. After 30 minutes of chaos, we realized that 2 police officers had taken our order, waited 15 minutes in front of the empty cash register, and when they got to pay they realized it wasnt theirs. When we realized that, they were trying to reheat the sandwiches in the microwave, paper bag and all. We just left. Cant comment on the quality of the food, but service was a mess. They should really take numbers instead of names.

Too pricy drinks watery and milk is too watery I the chia tea and coffee milk is on the verge of not drinkable .. zero ambiance have to listen to people have what s app business meetings acoustics bad. Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly

January 22: I show up at 4:35 p.m. The store is closed although the posted time is 5 p.m. The waitress present ignores us superbly and turns her back on us while we wave to her. What contempt for customers.

From Nova Scotia on private issue but JUST noticed this shop after 2 days. Montreal Bagels are my fav - having a FRESH one with OUTSTANDING Dark roast coffee did not disappoint. They toasted my plain baked today selection. Highly recommend this shop. Will perhaps come back for a great looking LUNCH menus.

The staff is friendly, there are lots of bagel choices, and the juices are very good. The only downside is that some employees do not speak French.

The barista made me an excellent latte. I had a sesame bagel with smoked salmon. The bagel was alright but the topping seemed a little old. On top of that, I noticed the manager seemed to be mistreating one of the employees which really put me off this place! Wont be visiting again.

Great spot for some breakfast/ brunch food. I pick up delivery for Uber eats here, and theyre always friendly and quick to get the orders completed for the customer. They ensure all the food is warm and freshly made for delivery.

Their bagels are extremely over-priced and not as good as we expected. We also all got a stomach ache later in the day. I would not recommend at all.

Messed up my order twice then forgot a bagel that i paid for. Also, the kitchen is very dirty i would not eat there again.

Quality has declined. Plain cream cheese is mixed with something so the taste is different now. Bagels are not as rich in flavour as before. Service is usually quick.

My daughter ordered a mango-peach smoothie, the guy there just gave her a very small cup of juice instead and he still charged the price of the smoothie of 8$(6.95$+tax). Probably he thinks we don t know what a smoothie is. Very funny! I didn t have time to argue with him because I had doctor s appointment. But seriously, I would give a zero star instead of one if I could.

Stay away. I get it s in Westmount but 2 chicken pesto bagels came $30!!!! The chicken wasn t even cooked properly looked more pale than a chicken should look.

I love their downtown location, so I expected it would be good here too. Instead, Im writing my first ever google review to say how bad this was. Ive never had a bagel with so little cream cheese in my life. Half of the bagel was practically empty other than the thinnest layer possible of cream cheese. This has to be the easiest thing to do right, how was it this bad?

Ordered through delivery: The smoked meat bagel is an absolute joke, $10 for half a pickle, a pinch of sauerkraut, and at most 2 slices of smoked meat with Dijon(why Dijon?) is ridiculous. The smoothie came warm and separated, and tasted absolutely revolting. The pasta salad has clearly been sat out for some time because it is just a massive pool of oil at the bottom. I dont know whats going on there but quality and quantity needs to change, and fast. It is not worth the money at all. Save yourself and go literally anywhere else, even Tim Hortons is preferable

Second time coming here. The taste of Bagel is good, especially the lobster one (Homard ET Avcat). The price is a bit high but generally recommended.

Sandwiches were fantastic, wasn t too enthusiastic about the extra charge to use a different bagel for a sandwich, but no biggie. Coffee was also solid, and the service was very friendly.

I came here twice during Osheaga weekend and both times I have had amazing experiences. The bagels and coffee were amazing. Notably, the banana chocolate bagel was to die for. The staff were super polite, nice and helpful! I left both times with a smile on my face! THANK YOU! I will be back!! (The girl from Ottawa ;) )

I just paid around 15$ for this tomato boccocini bagel and added Swiss cheese to it. My question is: where are the boccocini cheese and the Swiss cheese? Just a tasteless bagel, as if I am eating bread and tomato. I would have ordered a full plate with this amount from any other decent breakfast place and wouldn t have spent it on a bagel! So disappointing

Ive been to the Eaton location so was looking forward to visiting this full size location. Their hours are very limited however so I struggled to find the time to do so. One weekend I was finally able to make their hours, got there at 1 20pm and saw a sign announcing an even earlier closing time of 2 00pm. It still felt like a reasonable time to go. But upon entering my experience was completely ruined by the attitude of the staff. First off the manager was talking about closing to the employees as if they were in the back and not in front of customers, he was even complaining about the lineup. I could tell they really did not want to be there which I guess explains the horrible hours. One girl was cleaning the floors and all the chairs were up except at one table where I sat. It was truly uncomfortable eating there 40 minutes before close while being made to feel like I am keeping them behind. At one point I asked for an item to be heated up - she tossed it in the microwave rather than the toaster that was right next to it. Then she goes right back to cleaning, leaving my scone in the microwave. I was waiting by the counter for minutes before her colleague took it out for me. They were closing up way too early and had no regard for customer service. The bagels are tasty but do not compensate for this poor service.

Some of the best bagels in Montreal. Different than the major producers. These are thicker and softer. Multiple flavors are on offer in both sweet and salty or spicy varieties. Also great cream cheeses and breakfast choices. Pricey but totally worth it. Go in the morning for optimal freshness. They also stay fresh longer than other bagels. Service is somewhat slow.

DO NOT EAT HERE PLEASE! I got food poisoning back in June. Sent emails and wrote a review with no response so doing this again 5 months later. I had the Falafel bagel on June 27th and ended up in the ER 30 min later. Stayed there for a total of 12 hours before they finally let me go and then had to take a couple days off of work. Never buying from this place again and I had 4-5 colleagues who loved this place and they also have not ordered since and won t be because they don t want the same situation to happen to them.

A reheat oven IS NOT a toaster ! We ordered a toasted bagel and this is the result. Not impressed.

Even though it s part of a chain of stores, this location is exquisite. Some of the best bagels in town. They also have a very nice staff and give out day old bagels for very cheap, if you want authentic MTL bagels and you re in Westmount, I believe this is the place to go. The prices are a bit higher than the average in the city

Bagel sandwiches are sometimes days old (confirmed by employee) and expensive even if they were to be always fresh. Have had coworkers of mine receive expired smoothies. AND some staff dont wear gloves while handling food... Terrifying and revolting during this COVID time. For a bagel shop the only thing you can depend on being satisfactory and safe is their coffee. This location started off amazing but quality quickly diminished. Seems there is high loss of staff unfortunately.

We ordered lunch for a meeting at work from here. It was fantastic. The best sandwiches and salad Ive ever had at a work meeting. I have no idea what the in restaurant experience is like.

Very cozy and fancy little place! Music is nice, food is tasty, coffees are great, and staff is very friendly. The only problem is that some of the meals(salads and sandwiches) are a little expensive, though it is a café I suppose and its good for the two things a café is meant for: Cozy hangout and good coffee.

I m living right next to this place so I was very stoked to try it (Not a lot of healthy options around here). Sadly, the sandwiches we ordered were super dry + almost no cream cheese in the smoked salmon bagel. I m adding a star because the service was nice, but I was really not happy about my food experience
