4134 Saint-Catherine St, Westmount, Quebec H3Z 2Y5, Canada
Informal venue with upscale decor whipping up inventive specialty pizzas & salads.
Always a treat to have dinner at Gentile. I was craving pizza so decided to stop by for a pie. Anna was amazing as our waitress and took good care of us. In my honest opinion, one of the best pizza’s in Montreal. We also tried a fantastic pasta dish with braised beef. If I am not mistaken, I recall Anna saying the pasta dish was in its last days on the menu so you might not be able to get it but if you can…. Try it! Our old fashions were great and pizza was delicious! Definitely you should try the cauliflower appetizer. Tell em’ Jay sent ya!!
Had an amazing dinner on a Friday night and despite being completely booked, the staff had everything under control. The. food came out on time and everything was delicious. The real stand out tonight was Olivia, she made the evening a real treat. I would go back for the service alone.
Very disappointed with how the quality went down lately. Used to love their pizzas but the last couple times it has been average. Not enough sauce or cheese, seems like the pizzas got smaller and the prices way higher. Needed to pay extra for the sauce when it wasn’t the case before. There are better and cheaper options on the island. Will not be going back.
Our group of 4 all unfortunately left disappointed. Gentile missed on attention detail and quality of product. No fault of our excellent server, seems more of a kitchen issue. To start, our mains all came out at different times. Not a few minutes apart, but 20 minutes apart. My dad finished his main before we received our pizza. When the pizzas finally came out, they were cold and not exactly as we had ordered. The waiter offered to reheat them for us, which we took her up on. As expected, the reheated pizza was overcooked and no different than leftovers. I doubt we will be back for dinner.
Food is excellent so is service I can’t knock it, but on takeout the “large” caeser salad is microscopic, 20$ and it doesn’t even feed my child
Good restaurants stand out for their exceptional food, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. A great dining experience is marked by dishes that are not only delicious but also creatively presented, using fresh and high-quality ingredients. The ambiance plays a crucial role too, providing a comfortable and inviting setting that complements the meal. Friendly and knowledgeable staff can elevate the experience, making guests feel valued and well-cared for. Overall, a good restaurant is one that leaves you satisfied, eager to return, and happy to recommend to others.
Fantastic atmosphere and just a really really great circle pie. I almost never stray from the pepperoni slice and I’m never disappointed. It’s certainly in my top five pizza in Montreal and arguably in my top three along with pizza bouquet, pizza Toni and welldun
The best and most authentic pizza, it's the closest to the pizza I had in Italy. We took the GOAT and the Veal Balls (OMG so good, the veal just melts in your moth, just absolutely delicious) no it's not cheap but it's worth it, the tomato sauce is perfect and the dough super thin, just how I like it. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff, great place for lunch and dinner, good ambiance and music.
Good food and ambience
Olivia and Anna gave us great service Food is fantastic Food
Had a great time at Gentile Pizza Parlor last saturday evening with my friend. I particularily enjoyed the cozy and feel good vibe of the place. The decor is amazing! The staff is welcoming and very professionnal. The food is tasty and of very good quality. I cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend. Special thank you to Olivia for her First Class service!
Overpriced stoned cold pizza stay away
Very cool place People are like the name of the restaurant
Great cozy atmosphere, fantastic pizzas and great staff. All you could ask for when getting a meal!
Great pizza, great service, definitely have to come back for the deserts
Great service great food
Service null
MISMANAGEMENT!! We came twice this summer 1 hour before closing, each time they told us that the kitchen closed earlier than expected and so we had to leave. And today, I checked the schedule on Google, checked their Instagram page to make sure and nothing was announced on their page or in story. We showed up today early in the evening, ready to wait if there was a wait, and we were received at the entrance and told that it was closed to the public and that there was a private event. !! The waitress suggested we go to the Café but of course when I asked if I could order the pizza parlor menu she said NO its not possible!! Management should review the way they operate! Of course it was the last time we gave this restaurant a chance, there are many other establishments in Montreal which have a minimum of consideration for their customers.
Amazing food, service, team, and vibe. They go absolutely above and beyond.
Ordered on Uber Eats, cancelled without notice after 1h10m of waiting.
A1 atmosphere, food and service! A great place for casual dining after work. The staff are warm and welcoming. Pizza cooked to perfection. The eggplant starter is a must!
Great vibe and food. Service was very friendly and prompt
We wanted to try the pizza, but it was closed for a private event. It might be a good idea to let people know its closed.
Its always a great experience; the food and the drinks are good and its cute for date night.
I came in with high expectations given the reviews and was disappointed. The atmosphere is nice. The pepperoni pizza is decent. But the 4 cheese pizza was bland. Normally in a 4 cheese pizza theres a little kick from the gorgonzola, this pizza doesnt have it. Instead, they have truffle honey, which is underwhelming. Overall I found the pizza to be rather bland. The veal meatball was OK but the tomato sauce was watery and tasteless. There was nothing exciting about the food. Total including taxes and tip was 136$ for 2 pizzas, a lasagna, eggplant parm and 1 veal meatball. I might go back for a slice of pepperoni if Im in the area, but otherwise there are many other Italian restaurants Ill go back to before this one.
I had a great experience dining here. I ordered the artichokes, burrata salad, and two pies, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent friendly and attentive. I ll definitely be coming back!
Awesome Pizza and pasta, also enjoy delicious desserts and coffee espresso
Pizza was fantastic bursting with flavor true Italian cuisine
No quality of food + waiting too much , the worst ever
Excellent
Dont be confused that there is a connected Italian restaurant next door. The pizza parlor is on the right. The pizza is delicious and you must try the garlic knots. I suspect they are balls of dough, breaded (really!) and deep fried. They were so good and different than other garlic knots/bread than Ive had before. Id love to go back during my vacation and just might do so!
Food unreal & service unreal because of Olivia !!
Amazing food and service, Olivia was great!
Anthony &Phil went above and beyond our expectations for our daughter s confirmation on may 4th 2024 everything from the food and service were exceptional!! Thanks again!! Jonny&Sandra Food : 5/5
Everything was good. But there were a lot of insects inside. First time would be acceptable but this is the second time that we go there and there are bunch of insects flying around which makes the whole experience unpleasant. Hope they would solve it soon!
Olivia was absolutely amazing!! Best service in town , you guys are lucky to have her
Olivia was an absolute pleasure to have as a waitress. She is always so friendly and makes Gentile pizza feel like a second home. Best service I ve experienced in Montreal.
Olivia was the best! Great service and really helped me enjoy my time!
Olivia was the best. Service was great.
was told 15min for a to go order. took 40min. goodjob. be transparent with wait times smh
Hot delicious pizzas! Some unique combinations. Great service. They do takeout as well
The food was amazing eggplant parmigiana, fried calamari, pizzas, chicken parmigiana, the salmon But the service was even better. Olivia took care of us like we were family She is amazing ! Thanks to Anthony as well
Stop what you re doing right now and get the loaded pie !!!!! Wow !!! I am so sooo impressed - I ordered Gentile on UberEats last night and it truly exceeded my expectations ! I was so excited after all my pizza research, but it was above and beyond what I hoped for. The cappocollo was the highlight and it s truly a beautiful box to open. It s as good as it looks ! I m pretty much doing a pizza tour before I move out of Montreal in June and I m super serious about it the dough and ingredients here are absolutely exceptional ! Top 2 in the city for me with the other being La Maison des Pâtes Fraîches. Thank you Gentile for making my weekend !! I hope to come in person before I leave Montreal !
Ordered a large veggie pizza and it was burnt. The entire bottom of the pizza was black. Tasteless, except for the taste of burnt dough and olives. Very disappointed. Expensive mistake ordering here. It arrived very fast but what is the point of putting out food so fast that you send it burnt and unpleasant to eat.
Excellent pizza. Lovely service, our waitress was very attentive, especially with the children.
Dont go there
Tik tok a liar once again
Grear vibe, love the pizza, and great cocktail !
Literally always come here for a take out on cannolis. They are definitely worth the hype
The film Dune II had arrived in town, crowned with glory, announced by a fanfare of trumpets. We were therefore called to participate in the festivities by going to an IMAX theater to fully witness its power. However, who can keep an empty stomach during a show lasting almost 3 hours, no matter how grandiose it may be? Of course, as tradition dictates, we could have opted for simple popcorn, but we wanted a larger feast. From there was born the idea of enjoying pizza at a restaurant on Sainte-Catherine Street, a few steps from the cinema before the film was shown... from which the Gentile Pizza Parlor almost stole the show! Starting with the unparalleled decor, a clever mix of old and modern elegance, bathed in lighting in suave tones of blue and yellow. Different types of comfortable accommodation have been placed there, from stools along the bar to high chairs near the transverse mirror, including the bench and wooden seats with armrests. With the starters of arancini and cheese and garlic balls (which were their last appearance on the seasonal menu), we were treated to a delightful starter to the matter. Both, crispy and tender in their own way, were real explosions of flavors. What a delight ! Then came the Margherita pizza (the G.O.A.T.) and the Spectacular with potato, following the Neapolitan style with their thin and well-cooked dough. They fulfilled their promise to make our palate more than happy, with my big brother going on to declare that there was nothing better than Neapolitan pizza. The evening being still young, there were only two or three groups seated in the dining room at a time, making service easier. We were taken care of by a young woman, both smiling and attentive, whose gray scrunchie matched the color of the pizzeria sweater. She kept a close eye throughout the meal, even allowing me to specially concoct a tasty ice cream flavored with two flavors for dessert: pistachio and hazelnut. In conclusion, it was a memorable experience from start to finish - and I weigh my words - as much because of the unique atmosphere that reigned there as the kindness of our hostess and the quality of what we tasted there. You can also enjoy it provided you pay the price: $100 for three people (with a beer and excluding tip). Vegetarian options: Yes, several meatless pizzas (the Marguerita, the Madison Square Garden...) Parking: Meet in front of the restaurant or at the back, on Dorchester Boulevard. Payable depending on the time of day, but free on Sundays. Kid-friendliness: Yes, with benches. Wheelchair accessibility: Still accessible if accompanied to help you pass the lowered part at the entrance.
Very serviceable 0.
Gentile Pizza really impressed me tonight. After Uber messed up and delivered the completely wrong order, I called Gentile, and not only did they make our food again, they kindly threw in a bunch of extras, and delivered it themselves, within 20 minutes, during the Super Bowl. A class act. 12/10 service.
The portions could be larger; ordered a chicken parm for 32$; portion was tiny; adding fries is not too costly
Pizza is fresh and creative. Ive been there a few times now.
Unpleasant experience. Dont recommend ordering from them
Good, but heavily overpriced
Cookies are dry, pizza ingredients aren t the most fresh
Great place with lots to offer. Lunch, dinner, or just a coffee. Im never disappointed.
Went for last min dinner on vday since this was only place that had available reservations. Ill start with the cons: 1) all the food was COLD! Arancini, pizza, pasta were all just barely warm which really took away from it. 2) the cocktails were very meh, we tried 2 and didnt finish either. 3) for what it was, very expensive. 150$ for two people, we shared 3 dishes and 1 dessert and 2 drinks, plus this place is very diner vibes nothing fancy but feel like we paid for a nicer place than we got pros: food itself was very yummy, other than the temperature no complaints about the dishes. our waitress, young blonde girl, was super sweet and helpful.
Great atmosphere!
Nice family place with history and tasty pizza.Erica was great and courteous. Will go again.
Good for pizza with a young child. Food was good, service was good. As expected from pictures.
Decent food. Great service. Nice lively vibe and ambiance.
Super good! Marshmallow brownies a delight
I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves it. The service is amazing. Everyone who works there is so nice. The food is also great. Truly authentic! PS: Love the music that you had going!
Maybe it wasnt a good night. 3 apetizers, 3 dishes, 3 cocktails (the wine list is very ordinary) and everything is way too bland for the price. No salt anywhere, boxed pasta with barely any sauce, a ceasar thats just a few chunks of lettuce, cacio e pepe with no pepper, wet fries and slow roasted tomatoes that taste boiled. For the drinks, too sweet and diluted to be worth 14$ minimum. Silver lining : their pizza is actually good and the service is very attentive and friendly. Again, maybe it wasnt a good night but for us the experience was underwhelming.
Best pizza in Montreal. All food is very tasty, different from many restaurants in Montreal. Eggplant in milanesa was delicious
Great place for italian food, good music and amazing vibe! Also, we tried their new drink menu, I personally had the Aperol Sour and I must say for all the Aperol Spritz mamas out there this drink was TOP!
Good food, nice terrace but poor service.
Caaaaroo! I was alone at the entrance!!
Hands down one of the best Italian in MTL! Staff are very nice and the decor is absolutely gorgeous =) The prices I d say are midrange, so be careful how many items you order
My husband and I went for date night tonight. Our server, Leela I believe, was an absolute delight! Attentive, kind, knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. She made our experience one of a kind! Food came hot fast and very tasty. Will absolutely return.
3.5 I ordered the Sicilian Square Brooklyn Style Pep earlier this year, in March. Firstly, I enjoyed the pizza and this would be a 5 star BUT the pizza was extremely hard - to the point where it was hard to bite into or rip the crust off with your teeth. Im not sure what happened here but it felt like the pizza was made much earlier then my agreed pick up time. I had a feeling too b/c the box wasnt even warm. Note, Ive seen a Youtuber eat this and it was super soft, so a mistake was made and unfortunately it put a damper on our experience. Id love to to back and update this review with a 5 BUT next time, the pizza needs to be fresh and hot when I pick it up. Owner was a nice guy and you can tell her cared about the spot. Ordered a cookie as well - it looked fluffier and softer from the eye. Once I bit into it, wasnt the case unfortunately. Overall, hoping the next time the pizza is hot and fresh when i pick it up because I love these style of pies and want to give it another shot here.
The only thing I appreciated was the service of the girl who served me (smiling and professional). The reception: lousy and rude. Food: average and over-priced! There was no pizza on the menu (or they didnt give me the whole menu). Tried it once and it was too many...
Amazing salads !!! Great service, very professional and clean. Also great vibes.
Incredible spot! We came for the first time for Mother s Day/my mother-in-law s birthday with my family and my 8 month old baby, and we have an unbelievable experience. Not only was the pizza delicious (I highly recommend the Spektacular, best pizza I ve ever had - The crust is thin, not too doughy, not too oily, just perfect) but the staff was super attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. I think our waitress s name was Katalina. She was so sweet. The vibe is retro, modern and the music is old-school awesome! Highly recommend Gentile s :) we love it! Kid-friendliness: They went beyond to make sure my 8 month old was comfortable
Nothing like it in Montreal! Our waitress Erica is so passionate about the great food here and she was spot on with everything we ordered! 100% coming back on a regular basis!!!!
Excellent New York-style pizza with a super attentive team! Perhaps a little too much sweetness in the recipes but the products are of very good quality.
80$ for a pizza, pasta dish and a slice of pie? (4 Wings were free) Ate this with italian family and they did not enjoy it, I was embarrassed getting food from this place as it is so hyped. The pizza was very soggy even thought we saw them put it in the box when we got there. The pasta was so simple(one tiny piece of cheese), to charge 28$ is absolutely insane, I am surprised people encourage this. I am giving 3 stars because the wings were really good surprisingly and the pie too. FYI, its not clear where to go to pick up takeout, so we just wait for ever for a hostess to come.
Great spot. Staff is very friendly and super helpful. Place was super clean , amazing vibe , A+ music selection. Appetizers are overpriced. The dough is excellent , however the toppings were not that great .
The sister restaurant to the better known Gentile Cafe, Pizza Parlor has a wider menu selection in the more traditional areas (like meatballs, fried calamari, cauliflower, etc...) that make it a little more accessible (as compared to Cafe). We ordered Caesar Salad (a unique take on a classic ceasar, creamy and a bit on the spicy side...but the portion was small even though we ordered the large size), 5 Cheese Macaroni (very creamy and cheesy), with a banana coconut pie for dessert (very good). Unfortunately we did not order their signature pizzas although we have heard good things about it. We sat outside at the terrace which was much quieter and peaceful compared to the hub-bub inside the restaurant. Note that Pizza Parlour has access to the terrace on Sunday nights and Monday (when the Cafe is not operating...otherwise the Cafe has dibs). Enjoy!
The pizza was very average, does not justify the price AC was not even working Food
It didnt help in any way.
Even better than i expected.
Pizza okay, the dough lacks savior. But the point that makes you cringe is the salad at $18 for half a romaine lettuce (pre-washed style from Costco) and again the nothing original, crouton powder & a little parmesan. ...
Today was my daughter s 30th birthday. It was a stressful day for her and she had plans to go celebrate outside. The weather didn t cooperate and she was very disappointed when everything got canceled. I suggested Gentile s and Cat and the amazing staff went out of their way to make it so special for her and for that, I will always be grateful We had such a wonderful dinner and will be back very soon!
I like the vibe. Food is good if not necessarily great pizzas had really good toppings and cooked right, but dough isn t as thin and chewy as some of the better Neapolitan pizza options in Montreal. A little loud inside with blaring music, but kudos to the staff for noticing at some point and turning it down a bit. Definitely more expensive than other places with comparable or better pizza in the city. I guess to be expected given the prime location.
Good service professional and not too long for our group of 9 persons. Good experience overall. Started with the salmon tartar on a bed of truffle. (The truffle was a bit much and needed more salmon.) Main course I had the Lumache dish and it was excellent.
A really nice place to have diner and enjoy life the pizza GOT is yummmi
Nothing to say about the service, but for the prices, its a steal!! $26 for the daily special sandwich and a total of $40, with coffee and tip. I will not return to this restaurant again.
This place has good pizza! If you like well cooked and crunchy crust this place is for you. The crust is crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. If you go one hour within the announced opening time, you can only buy slices, so plan your visit. You have to wait one hour after the actual opening to order something from the menu. They won t let you sit on the terasse since it s for the coffee only. Overall top tier pizza, fresh, crispy and not super greasy and fat. Only down side is the price, 25$ for 4 slices is not cheap. Seems like buying a full pizza is a the better choice.
I love this place for lunch. The salads and appetizers are great, albeit missing a tad of salt. But the sandwiches can t be beat. Anyone who says Milano s makes the best sandwiches hasn t been to Gentile.
The only pizza restaurant I will go downtown. Small, cozy, cool vibe. Food and service super easy going.
We had a fantastic time here last night. Kayla and Olivia were amazing providing us with great service, great food and tequila shots. We will definitely be back!!
take out <Big Cheese Pizza > , it is horrible taste. 28$. We throw away. better to buy the pizza either IGA or Costco.
Very good pizza with different flavours. Cesar salad was good , dessert could be improved( soft serve) Food
Amazing pizza. Definitely recommend the Caesar salad as it was very notable
12$ for a small slice, the filling is made with Reese chocolate sauce. I mean they could have just robbed my money but they still gave me a slice of pie.
I ordered on Uber eats they took over an hour to prepare my order So many people inside but they dont do anything...
Loved a lot the veggie and cheese pizzas with the honey and hot sauce, both very yummy. Great service too the staff super nice, helpful, kind and sweet
Best italian pizza in Town. Professional staff
Amazing pizza! It s coming from a person who is not into pizza at all. I also loved their eggplant parm. Yummy Definitely ordering from them again
As soon as we walked in, it was as if i stepped back in time to my childhood! The 80s / 90s Decor paired with the amazing food and excellent service 5 stars!!! Im coming back !
Food tasted delicious, setting was great, service was fast!! Portions could be bigger but I won t complain since everything else seems to be great. Will be going back soon:)
My friend Hogan hesitated, because on a previous occasion, there was too much pepperoni on the pie. Like a buildings worth. I had been meaning to try this place out. We ordered through Uber Eats. The pizza was tasty, with a nice leoparding and great dough. Sara was a big fan as well. Neall suggested we should order again from there next time! Gazie mile. P.s. You will stay the same size if you eat this pie.
Burnt pizza , rude staff and slow service .
Disappointing and unpleasant experience. Will not be coming back unfortunately.
I came with a friend after she recommended it, the food was great, and our waiter was also great and attentive, but when the bills came another girl came to take our payments. I split my meal onto two bills (business card for food and personal card for alcohol) and left an 18% tip on both bills, only to be asked what was wrong with the service, which either means why didnt you tip or why didnt you tip enough . I was very shocked, i asked her to repeat and she threw the bill on the table and walked away. I double checked the bill to make sure i did indeed leave an 18% tip on both. When she returned, she said sorry i read it too fast and also ive never seen someone tip under $6 on a bill I couldnt believe what I was hearing, of course if my bill is $16 and i leave an 18% tip it wont be over $6? The girl then proceeded to throw a 5 dollar bill on my table at me saying to take my tip back, and i clarified to her that I always intended to tip and that it was meant for MY waiter (who did a good job) and not YOU. Appalling behaviour from someone in the service industry who then claimed she had been doing this for 10 years . I may come back if only for the food.
Easily hands down the best slice in the province. Everything on the menu is excellent and made on site (I believe). They make their own cold cuts, so few restaurants do that anymore, it s a lot of work! Please note, this is NYC/Brooklyn style pizza so fairly thin, a good chew, crispy with some nice leoparding (you don t know pizza if you don t know what I mean by that)
Expensive but good. The pizza dough is nice and chewy and perfectly cooked. Very friendly staff and quaint ambiance.
Pink pasta was not boiled long enough and the pasta was tough to chew. staff asked for tips rudely which is weird because we are tourists here and it feels like USA 2.0 I guess the manager expect Paul to pay for Sandys wage when theyre the ones whore suppose to be paying the workers. Its sad because my husband went there to get take-out pizza twice and we finally had the chance to dine-in. Now I could understand why people prefer to do take-outs in this restaurant because of the demanding for tips attitude the manager has. I feel sad that the workers are already making a minimum wage and potential recurring customers running away due to this behaviour. When the manager chased us for not paying tips high enough like he expected, he asked WAS THERE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE SERVICE?!! x2,yelling and has caused us a very traumatic experience. He made us feel that we shouldnt go out to restaurants anymore and this industry is already dying. Well, all thanks to that particular person that we wont be coming to this and other restaurants anymore for a while :)) Oh and btw, we wanted to go to the bank for cash tips so the waitress could keep the money to herself instead of putting it on tab, but Paul was too strict about the tipping policy that he had made so, yeah..
Frequently cancels reservations - be careful
Great food, pleasant service, fun vibe. Quality ingredients the chicken parmesan was perfectly breaded and cooked and the mushroom pizza was delicious with rich velvety cheese and crisp arugula drizzled with the perfect amount of balsamic. We will be back!
Excellent pizza, well done guys
Not good
Amazing service. Erica was amazing. Her attention to detail is second to none. Highly recommend you go and ask for her. She wont disappoint.
The food was delicious! Everything was super tasty & it doesnt make you feel bloated afterwards (which is something I find a lot of restaurants struggle with). The 80s vibe is super fun and relaxing! And our waitress was AN ABSOLUTE GEM!!!
Very good pizza. A bit pricy though.
Excellent and friendly service, amazing pizza, fun vibe.
First time there and it was amazing! The waitress was really busy and she was handling a lot of tables including mine but she make sure we had everything we needed as soon as she was free. Would totally recommend
This restaurant used to be exceptional but order twice lately and pizza came freezing cold.
Gentile is not inexpensive, but it is consistently good and service is always spot on. You will not be disappointed and their cocktails are always fantastic. Food is fresh and flavourful, and off menu (evening specials) always on point.
Wow the Best sandwich ever and the pizza and the salad was delicious super super service thank you
The food and atmosphere was amazing. Erica made it the best experience - highly recommend!
Their pizzas are excellent, the dough is perfect and the service is good.
Gentile Pizza Parlour located in Westmount has fantastic New York style pizza in a laid back atmosphere with a vibrant energetic staff.
The waiter was extremely rude. No one was at the restaurant and he asked us to move table. What kind of service is that! Plus very unpleasant and unfriendly. The service industry has really gone done. Not even a young guy, Bald guy in his 40s ´.
Fun place. Great staff. Good food and excellent wines at a very reasonable price/quality ratio.
Pizzas are delicious. Their dough is really good!!! We had the margarita g.o.a.t and the bada bing ( sweet and spicy really tasty) Their Large Cesar salad shrank .but Brownie smore desert is the best in town!!!
Their 7 cheeses pizza with some honey truffles ..it s beyond me :) Very very delicious.
Great
The pizza is super good
Family ambiance, impeccable service, wonderful cockatil and solid wine selection. The food is made with love and passion and tastes fresh, original while respecting tradition. Highly recommend!
First off, the service was impeccable. Erika was a brilliant guide; her recommendations were spot on and her banter even better. We enjoyed the meatballs: authentic and decadent. Tried the salad special (beets/heirloom tomatoes) which was fresh and delicate. Pizzas were delicious. Decor/vibe is very cool. Who knew wood paneling could look so elevated? 80 s playlist was top drawer. Looking forward to returning!
Worst veal escalope Ive eaten in my life, for a $35 dish I expected much better! Impeccable service though.
We walked into this pizza kind of by accident, we were in the area and looking for somewhere to eat, I didnt know about it. Because of this I didnt have high expectations and we were really surprised by how good it was. We had good service and will definitely be coming back. I dont what it was the dough or the sauce or everything but this was some tasty pizza.
Wow. Best pizza we have had in Montreal hands down. Giving 4 stars because the large caesar salad could use a few more leaves. The salad was also delicious but for the price of the large it needs to be bigger. Four more leaves should do it. Pizza and ambiance were fantastic, the coconut banana cream pie was also very good. I personally thought the price was great, as the quality of the food was premium. This is not a $4/slice situation. This is gourmet.
Best pizza I ve had in awhile!
Erica was amazing ! Cool spot
I worked as Uber driver at night and i had an order from store when i arrives two servers start joking to me instead asking me whats your order number? or do you have order? they just start joking to me and laughing me without any reason ? for example one of them said to me Im blinds could you spelling for me other one name is Ali cleaning glass and laughing to driver they are so rude with driver and I never take out any order from this restaurant.
Good tasty food. Just a bit pricy. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza Food : 5/5 |
Great tasty pizza ! Amazing ingredients!
We went to Gentile Pizza Parlour for my birthday. And the entire experience was amazing. The good, and the service were great. Our waitress Claudia was superb! She attentive and gave great menu advice. We never felt we were waiting or under served. We got our food very quickly and it all came out hot and delicious. Not a single complaint to be aired. We shared a meat ball as a appy and then each ordered pizza. The meat ball was the size of a baseball and covered in an amazing italian gravy. Delicious. The specilty pizza (seasonal) was different and unique. It had carameluzed onions and squash. I ordered the G.O.A.T. it certainly lives up to its name. Great Pizza! My father had asked them to suprise me with a peice of birthday cake at the end of the meal and I guess I ruined the surpise by ordering some of their Banana cream pie. Claudia switched the order and brought out a peice with a candle in it and they sang Happy Birthday. The Pie was DEVINE. Really special. The entire Experience made my night special. The food came out quickly, the service was on point, and the food did not leave us wanting. We will be back, and recommend this resturant to friends!
Was sold à cheese and truffle pizza that didn t have truffle. They forgot to give the truffle with it. Wen I called they said too bad. No credit, no excuse Very bad service for over priced pizza that s not even that good.
Very good, the setting, the food, the drinks, the retro atmosphere and the very friendly and attentive boss
I have to say that we were extremely disappointed in the food, the salad, the calamari and pizza were not good at all. The service was impeccable but the food, they need to up their game. Wont be going back....
Excellent pizza and friendly service.. square slices were pure Sicilian nostalgia, it s a fantastic restaurant experience
I was really looking forward to trying this pizzeria but was unfortunately disappointed. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 20-30 minutes before getting a table. Pizzas and cocktails are expensive. The pizzas are mediocre: hard dough, lack of toppings and little taste. The waiter service was poor. The atmosphere / decor of which the only positive points.
Reply to management: This was Saturday December 3rd between 6:30 and 7:30 PM. FYI, classic rock is mixed in a way to make it sound more dynamic on the radio. Its the worst choice in an environment where people want to have conversations. Good food, excellent server, but way too noisy. Whoever chooses the music and its volume should be duct taped to a chair and forced to listen to bad opera until they beg for mercy.
I ordered a truffle and 7 cheese pizza. The only truffles were in the little sauce next to it, Otherwise even as a white pizza with 3-5-7 cheeses, very ordinary... And here we dont even talk about the price
